The Airfield in Welwyn Hatfield

We came here for dinner as staying in the hotel, it was awful. There were only two members of staff working the whole hotel and restaurant. They were run off their feet and the wait times were appalling. We waited an hour for our meal and it wasn't even busy. When the food came it wasn't not great either. The steak was supposed to be rare it was well done. People were sat down on chairs in the queue to for the bar because the wait was so long. Was really disappointed as we had a three year old with us who was hungry. Don't recommend at all!!

There isn’t a single redeeming thing I can say about this place. We know Brewer’s Fayre, and it’s not somewhere you expect great things. But even then it managed to disappoint on every level. We made a booking online for 4:45pm on a Sunday because there were no slots available for 5pm onwards. Does this mean it was busy? Not at all. Most tables empty. Maybe they weren’t allowing bookings because they didn’t actually want to be open? Despite very few customers, the food took 50 minutes to arrive after ordering. This was for 2 adults and a child, so not a big order. Not sure why it took this long when it’s mostly microwaved food (I know because they discussed ‘defrosting’ it when I ordered. They forgot some vegetable sticks from the childs order and when we raised it, they brought a gigantic plate of just-chopped vegetables which would have looked more at home in Pets at Home in the rabbit pen. Staff were utterly miserable. They weren’t familiar with the menu. Tried to upsell extras without mentioning they were extra. For some reason they left a tab open for us and tried to charge us a second time for the entire meal when we ordered dessert. Tables were sticky. Food was a real mixed bag: mostly edible, but looked less like a coherent meal and more like several items plonked on a plate. Smallest piece of steak I’ve ever seen and tough as nails. Compared to other dining options of the ‘chain pub food’ category, sure, it’s a little cheaper. But at least at this location, everything else is way worse. It’s not worth it.

Sam is the best bartender there’s he can cater to you every need and is willing to help you with whatever you need 👍🏽😁✌🏽👊🏽

Went for carvery for mine and my friends birthday only to be told they weren’t cooking anymore meat so was closing the carvery, even though it’s advertised 12 to 6pm, it was 4pm when I was there and I had booked a table for 12 people, absolutely appalling, it got worse - took ages for food to come out, food all squashed on floor and seats so had to be moved onto another table, food was cold, side plates for starters still had old ketchup stuck to it, coleslaw tasted off, partner had gammon and chips and it wasn’t right, had funny taste, I haven’t been here for few years as it was shocking before but thought it might have got better but well done Airfield you didn’t disappoint as it is still crap here, if you want a decent meal then go to galleria where there are loads of restaurants. This is my local and still can’t use it. Needless to say mine and friends birthday was ruined.

Only here because the Premier Inn with the Beefeater attached wasn’t available. Bar staff good. Clientele…… Rough. Just wanted a quiet pint. Loud mouthed men and women, shouting, swearing (in front off and at, children). I was supposed to have a pre paid for dinner that evening, but decided to go elsewhere. Will not be returning.

Had a great meal and excellent service from Chloe and Victoria. Lovely welcome from Chloe, nothing was too much trouble. Food was great, really lovely evening spent with friends and family.

Nice all-you-can-eat breakfast with marvelous service and great environment. Delicious food by chef Daniel. Would definitely visit again.

Came here with family and good friends for Easter Sunday and we was not disappointed. The carvery has to be the best in Hatfield. Turkey, Beef, and Gammon and the veg, gravey, and huge Yorkshire puddings and I must add this, the best Macaroni Cheese! Staff always friendly especially Chole, Victoria and Xanthe and the chap who was carving the meat ( Jamie) my Mum said he carved exceptionally well!! Nothing is too much trouble for these lovey staff members and always want to help Great atmospheres well as clean throughout. We had a lovely Easter Sunday Thank you all at the Airfield in Hatfield.

Where do we start. We arrived for our 5pm booking, and were shown to our table. After about 15 mins, we ordered our food and sat back down. At 6.30pm, we still had not had our starter meals, let alone the main course. As a family of four, two of them children, such a situation is totally unacceptable. We addressed this with staff, who apologized and said it would be about 15 minutes more. Customers who arrived AFTER us received their orders, and were eating. We were still waiting. Some even asked why we had not eaten yet. Eventually, the food arrived at 7pm. At no point did anyone say anything to us, or did we get an apology from the management. We were not the only customers affected. When the food arrived, it was hot, but it was obvious that it had only just been prepared. It was as if we had been forgotten. Given it was Mother's Day, it was hardly the kind of service for a family meal we would have expected. Surely, if you know that you have busy dates like that, as well as Christmas, Easter, etc., you should plan accordingly. At least if someone had said something, let customers know there is a delay, or limited staff resources, people would understand, even if they were not happy about it. The only saving grace was the lady who did help us was called Sabeen (I think her staff number is 5767). She was brilliant. She chased up the order, was helpful, professional and polite. Sabeen was the only member of staff who made any effort to find a resolution for us. The lack of ownership of the whole situation from the leadership of the outlet, and complete mismanagement of the process has let your establishment down, and places the reputation of the business on the line. Needless to say, we would not recommend Brewer's Fayre to anybody, nor will we visit again.

Went here today for breakfast for the first time . We was so disappointed all the food was cold and under cooked ? The hash browns should be crispy but they where soggy also the black pudding soggy and fell apart while trying to pick them up to put on my plate like the hash browns did ? The sausages I never got any as they looked like near raw to me ? I do visit other places when I want all you can eat Breakfasts like the one in WGC Beefeater which is ok but the best so far has to be Tobey inn in Stevenage but not the one in Borehamwood ? I did worry why not so many people was not in when I arrived ? I should have just walked out at that point and go to the one in WGC or Tobey in Stevenage

The service was poor. Took an age to get our order taken. Then when the food came it was cold and extremely underwhelming. Sent back and could tell it had just been heated up not re cooked. Just felt an atmosphere in there was unwelcoming. Sorry to say that some of the staff have been there so long they look incredibly unhappy and it passes off to the customers. Shame. Used to be such a lovely place to go.

Decent, the kids garlic bread for starter was rock hard, nearly broke my tooth however overall decent service decent food.

Great service today from Hayley and well cooked meals Money off voucher used which was a bonus too. Hope to have a similar experience on next visit.

Food was fantastic!! Recommend the Big Stack burger!! Service was very friendly and welcoming, we stayed longer than planned as the atmosphere and customer service was fab!! will definitely return to this venue again

Not been here for a little while and have seen a few new faces in terms of staff. Hayley was amazing, really friendly and personable which is nice to see in the hospitality sector in the 21st century. So use to generic robotic service so to have someone genuinely interested makes a huge difference. I understand she worked there previously. Do not let her get away again! Great addition to the team!

Airfield Hatfield is the place to go for breakfast and wow it has lots of food. We came here this morning and we was not disappointed. Food was replenished fresh eggs,hash browns,mushrooms, beans the list goes on. Yogurt and fresh fruit,cereals you name it..its there. Kids go free..added bonus and eat as much as you like at weekends. Parking plenty as Premier Inn next door. Staff always have a smile and happy to help.

Brewers Fayre Airfield is back!! And brilliant.Went for our first family meal after lockdown and we was not disappointed.Was greeted by the wonderful team, lead by Haley.So much choice on the menu..kids menu as well.Burgers juicy and vegitarian and vegan choices to choose from.New drinks menu worth checking out.Fathers day approaches look at there menu and the new 2 pint glass,its huge!!Have included photos of menus for all to see.

Lovely visit today, yummy roast and everything else on the menu. Prices are very low, but the quality is great! The restaurant looks fresh and clean, great improvement! Staff are kind and efficient, could not be better! Will return soon for more!

We went to the Airfield for a quick lunch during work and I have to say i was amazed by the transformation after lockdown! The place is fresh, cozy and spotless! Cool new fixtures presenting local history and aircraft magazines! The garden looks lovely too,but sadly it was raining...The food was excellent, delicious and incredibly cheap. The staff friendly and efficient, covid aware and well organised. I'll be returning for sure! Well done, new management!

Came here Saturday greeted by the lovely Haley and her staff. Details were taken for track and trace and we was seated at a table.Pub is spotless, toilets are spotless and smell really nice of baby powder. Sanitizer placed all over pub.Ordered drinks and food off the New Menu.I had a vegetarian Sloppy Joe, Hubby and daughter had a Double Stack burger and my son had a kids meal..which all food is home made as burgers were all chunky and juicy and not those round things you get from A supermarket. The slaw and chips were excellent. A good choice for kids menu. 3 course for 4.99.even Pizza is on the menu.I have included photos.Well done all at Brewers fayre Airfield xx

Recently under new management which has proven successful! Richard and his team have really turned the place around and the service is spectacular. The food is a major improvement compared to what was provided pre lockdown. I would definitely recommend visiting under this new management.

Welcomed by Haley, lovely smile and she makes you feel welcome.We have returned after not visiting the Airfield for a while. This is one of our locals and its nice to support it.There has been a change of staff and Management and things are now running better.The pub itself if huge and could easily have a children's play area at the back of the pub..which would encourage familys as well as Family's who stay in the hotel next door.The pub is tidy and clean..but a lick of paint would be good.Bring back the theam nights eg Monday is curry night..Tue..Italian..and so on..also include a drink...that way people would come and enjoy time in the pub.We ordered food and was impressed with portion size.I had a Vegan burger and it was juicy with salsa sauce.Well Worth a visit and I would recommend. If your not happy say something there more than happy to help you have a lovely time as staff is helpful and nothing is too much trouble.Date of visit: February 2020

Went to eat dinner Thursday 10th October, arrived seated then told 45 mins wait, drinks arrived then told an 1hr or around for meals. Never see the waitress again for any food order, so went to pay for drinks, had to wait for that too for an age, ignored by one member of staff then managed to pay. Truly shocking service on this occasion.

This is my local brewers fayre and I regularly use the airfield, always happy with the excellent service I receive and the food is excellent and always hot and tasty - mason is very attentive restaurant manger and very willing to help along with his staff - would Def recommend

Fantastic food, great alkohol selection and lovely staff!!! And if somebody thoughts that grabbing some teddy bear from the machine is impossible... He was deffinitely wrong! 😁

Absolutely shocking . Like a brewers fayre usually good value for money . Entered a young man by the time I left was eligble for oap discount. Carvery did not look like had been replenished for a while .

Couldn't have got a better mixed grill, steak was cooked to perfection!! Medium rare just as I like it. The bar staff were friendly i will definitely be coming back soon

Totally refreshing change of management attitude and service compared with the last visit! Mason greeted us with a smile and prompt service.Good selection of drinks and food. For a return visit that was questionable I look forward to another relaxed evening soon.lets hope the staff take note of a good management example.

Went online at 11.53am to book a table for 11 people for this evening. Got email confirmation of booking however on arrival at restaurant was told they had no booking for us. We were asked I we'd booked online to which we replied 'Yes' and were told 'the system doesn't work anyway!!'. We were asked to take a seat at the bar (which there where none) whilst they prepared a table. After 25 minutes one of our party enquired about the table and were asked if we'd now like to go to it now (it had been prepared, but nobody had bothered to tell us). The staff didn't seem particularly bothered about having us there, so we left and went elsewhere.

Food was very good today, quick service and very friendly staff. Very reasonable price and great atmosphere. Mason and Lucas were very good at looking after our needs.

My partner and I where staying at the Premier next door so decided to have dinner in the Airfield and I have to say that it was poor.

We had a brilliant lunch, great value for money. Really good lunch I really enjoyed my food and the staff were lovely, especially Erin she she was brilliant.

Was passing through hatfield and saw the Airfield from the road so decided to pop in with some mates on sunday afternoon for a carvery. It was one of the best carveries I have had in a long time. The staff were extremely helpful, the meat was extremely tender and its all you can eat on the vegetables. For the price I paid, it was a bargain.

Rude waitress, we was taken to our table which was next to a window, it was a very sunny day and quite uncomfortable with the sun glare and heat coming through, so my wife as it we could be moved to another table which we could see was empty, the waitress so no it’s dirty, so my wife said can’t you clean it, so the waitress shouted out “don’t be rude to me “ in front of all the other people dining.......we only asked her to clean the table, so we go up and went to leave but the manager, she sat us on the other side of restaurant, the food was very poor the manager she never bothered checking to see if things were ok, service absolutely terrible and the customer care if you can get through to them even worse.........

We had the bad luck of staying at the Premier Inn next door and had booked breakfast for the 2 days. The first day, we got there, waited to be seated, were shown a few tables said we can sit there. Sat at a table around the corner, and had a rude manager sitting in a closed-off room, having a conference call on speaker. It was loud and irritating and unprofessional first thing in the morning. you don't expect to be annoyed by staff. they had a decent selection of cereals, some fruit - Bananas and apples, some juices, and there was white and brown toast bread, some type of bagel, and some mini pain au chocolat and mini plain croissants. I had a bowl of cereal and a couple of plain croissants (they were fresh and very tasty), good job I got them when I did, as there were none left after I took the 2. The full English was good albeit a bit overcooked (almost burnt).

Received a flyer through my letterbox advertising the new Brewers Burger Collection at The Airfield, along with some Buy One Get One Free vouchers. The associated text indicated ‘coming soon’ and ‘join us this autumn’; the vouchers were dated for ‘3rd September to 20th November’; all of this led us to the assumption that the burgers were available now. Wrong!

on arriving we aired ages to be seated but we could see it had been busy because of the mess,got a table in the end diddnt wait long to order ..

Last time we visited we were disappointed but we took a chance to come again and was surprised, fast service and very happy bubbly staff. The Manager and the bar ban looked after me, Mason and Lucas and their team work was spot on, drinks order was taken, other member brought my drinks, then food order was taken other member brought my food, both checked back on my meal and received a Trip Advisor card when leaving, that is why I am here, I will be back, thanks again.

Prawn cocktail with no sauce! very slow service, too an hour with no service, waitress attitude was discusting. Butter like rock straight out of the freezer, rolls also like rocks. I am still waiting for the chips to arrive from the last visit I should have known bette.

First visit since we moved to Hatfield and don’t think we’ll come again unless it’s just to have a drink. Food was horrendous. I had roast chicken which tasted like it come out of a bag and soggy. And underneath found dirty oven scrapings that say who knows when that oven had been last cleaned. Burger also tasted grim. Awful food and poor quality. Weatherspoon is 10 times better and that’s saying something. It’s a shame cause it has potential for a nice family restaurant...

We have been here a few times as a family and unfortunately it seems to just be declining in food quality, the staff didn’t look exactly happy maybe because of serving such inedible food, the so called chips looked like crisps, who knows how many times they were reheated, peas were hard and dry and gammon tough and everything else very poor Safe to say we will not be attending again for lunch purposes

Brewers Fayre, in their wisdom, have decided that we should be eating 'skin on chips', YUK. So, I Had my smothered chicken with salad. It was very nice.

If you are looking for a great couple experience or family, this is a great go to! Amazed by the quality of staff and service. Great deals on food and the music just tops of such a perfect experience. Definitely a recommendation of mine

Very average really. Food was okay but not great. I had the Gammon Steak and it was quite fatty. I think the meals were a bit overpriced tbh. Luckily there was an offer for 2 mains for £8.99 which was better as I don’t think nearly £9 for that gammon was very good.

I have been here a few times now with my friends passing through and have always had good service from the bar staff, 2 in particular would be 'Becca' and 'Lucas', Austin the manager also was very helpful with a problem that we had and very accommodating

We booked a table for two on a Tuesday night it wasn't busy. We waited and waited to be seated but eventually had to wander and flag someone down. Drinks were served imediately at our table and we were informed that they would return for our order. No one came back so once again we had to flag someone down. 40 minutes after arriving we received our starter which by the way was 1 dish between 2 of us, not sure what took so long. 1hour and 15minutesafter arriving we received our mains. Mine was a salad in a warm bowl. The food tasted like it had been left under a heat lamp. The service is terrible we definitely would not return to The Airfield.

My husband and I ordered combo meals of chicken and ribs. Waited a long time for meals to be served, both started eating, thought chicken seemed cold and upon touching it we found the chicken had been served to us still partially frozen! Called waitress who agreed chicken was still icy and partially frozen and took the 2 chicken pieces from our plates to return them to kitchen. Said would do us new chicken. Returned and said no point cooking more chicken as we would have eaten rest of meal by time they were ready. Waitress said manager told her to say we would not be charged for meal ..... I should think not! Manager never even came to speak to us. Complained to guest relations who were equally unhelpful and very uncaring. They assured me all food hygiene standards are complied with and food cooked at correct temperature yet offered no explanation as to why we were served chicken that was still frozen. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

Easy to reserve and staff giving 100% service. The food was delicious and restaurant clean and tidy.

Be very carful, parking is not free for dinners, the signs outside do not state persons dinning at the pub have to pay to park so you can be fooled easily..

Have been coming here for years and never disappointed. Very fast service even though the restaurant was heaving, food was cooked to perfection. Top notch service from Lukas and Beth, would definitely recommend!

was served by a girl with black hair last week, who was the most miserable waitress I have ever met! Was very disappointed. Told myself I wouldn’t go back but my wife insisted we gave it another chance. So we did and had lunch at the airfield again yesterday. We were greeted with a big smile by a girl who had red hair! ( forgot to ask her name) Drinks came within 5 mins and she gave us plenty of time to browse through the menu, Really enjoyed the food, it was superb! Service was marvellous! Our waitress this time was really funny, brightened up our day :) she was laughing at all my dad jokes. Looking forward to seeing the red haired girl again! The airfield need more waitresses like her. Wish I tipped her more than £5!

Really slow service despite the place being empty. They got our order wrong, we ordered chicken meatballs for a 9 year old and they bought out tikka meatballs, then got our bill wrong at the point of paying. The food wasnt exactly great either, it was luke warm, and did not taste freshly made, despite the long wait for it, I wont be going again.

Mums ate free on mother’s day, what a bonus!!!! 4 of us ate here and all went for the roast dinner, fresh meat was put out, lots of different vegetables, perfect roast potatoes and friendly staff!

We went very late to the Airfields and we got great service. Rapid & precise for a pub restaurant. The food was Vegan Burgers which were ok. The only disappointment is run out of the Sweet potato & Feta Lasagne. Hopefully , It would available to try out.

The food is quite good and very reasonably priced.

The very worst experience ever in a restaurant for my wife and I. When we entered, we were kindly invited to sit any where in the restaurant and choosing a table for two in a side room, we found ourselves close to a large table of men, who were loud and we found it uncomfortable. We asked if it would be OK to sit in the main area and this we did. I felt uncomfortable seeing the waiter leave us and go into the side room and deal with other people then walk behind the bar. I was wondering if our meal order had been properly dealt with. Close on one hour passed and we asked a young female waitress how long our meal would be. We were told that JUST after we had placed our order, the kitchen announced a 30 minute delay but our meal would be with us between five and eight minutes. Fifteen minutes later, no meal. We repeated to the young lady what she had told us and she just walked off to the kitchen. Shortly after, the manageress came to our table asking us what we had said to her staff? We explained what had happened and were told the waitress was in the kitchen crying her eyes out. The manageress was supporting her staff first and did not in any way contain the sound of her voice, just letting everyone around our table hear what was going on. I felt this was very unprofessional and my wife and I were very embarrassed. Nothing could be done, there were no apologies given to us, so well after an hour, we left the restaurant, with the meal having just that minute been delivered to the table. It totally ruined the night for us. It was late and we found it difficult being in a strange area to find another place to dine.

Food ok, but haven’t seen any waiting staff in the last hour, cold food sitting in front of me and an empty beer glass. Only about 5 people in the place but the waiting staff would rather chat to each other than check on their customers. Very disappointing, better to try the Kentucky Fried Rat down the road, at least you get the crap service you’d expect. Btw make that wait 90 minutes!!!

I went to The Airfield just for drinks whilst travelling thru Hatfield on Sunday night.

We went here for lunch have been a few times before but today I ordered a steak which I asked to be cooked med-well it was served and when I cut into it it was rare. I asked if they could cook it a little more which the waitress said was Ok and took it away. It again came back and I tried to eat it but was still quite rare. I did not really eat it as I was put off by this time when we asked for the bill they asked if all was ok and I explained about the steak and it must of gone completely over the girls head as there was no apology anything. So was a little disappointed with meal today although others were ok

We stayed in a nearby hotel that was awful (not the Premier Inn) and they didn’t do breakfast. We stumbled upon the Airfield by accident with 3 minutes to go before breakfast stopped being served and we expected that we would probably be turned away. The wonderful manager and staff accommodated our party of 5, even though it must have been a large inconvenience to them. They were friendly and attentive and we couldn’t have been happier. Lesson learned, next time just stay in the Premier Inn. We will definitely return here again!

Decided that we deserved a special breakfast, and the airfield was the obvious choice.

As a family we decided to take advantage of the offer (£8.95 for two mains) and visited on Friday at 5:15. as it was early evening the place was slowly getting filled. We were warmly received and shown to our tables. Its family friendly and lots of seating areas. We had Sweet Potato Lasagne, Mushroom & Cheese burger, Sausage Egg & Chips, Smothered chicken & chips. The drinks came promptly, the food arrived on time, pleasing to the eye, good portions, scrumptious and beautifully presented. Having enjoyed the meal, we couldn't resist but give in to the sweet temptations and had Chocolate Brownie & Belgian Waffles. We left the place satisfied and pleased. Highly recommend the place and will definitely visit again.

The Bonus Club is great especially when a free bottle of wine comes round or the free meal on your birthday. The food is pretty good for the very reasonable prices especially the daytime value meals at £8.95 for two mains! The staff are always very pleasant which makes for a decent experience.

We went for Friday lunch and really enjoyed our meal. Good quality traditional English food at very reasonable prices. I had the Giant Atlantic Haddock with chips and mushy peas and it was excellent. Hot and tasty.

we had our evening meal here last fri 11jan the restaurant was very busy which is always good to see as something must be working here well the service we received from LUKAS.R was very good always replenishing our drinks our food order was lamb shank and the ultimate burger the food was fantastic my wife asked who the chef was tonight an was told its KIERON so a big well done mate great food

26 of us came here to eat, very pleased with the food, exceptional service by Kieron,would come back again.

This was a local clubs annual christmas social where 16 members celebrated the new year together.

Whilst staying at the next-door Premier Inn we had dinner twice & breakfast once. Each time the staff were exceptionally friendly & helpful, especially Kathryn, Peter & Leah. On Friday evening the restaurant was busy but only 2 waiting staff on duty, others having gone off sick. In spite of this they kept smiling & served us promptly. On Saturday evening I mentioned to Leah that my salmon was overcooked - she was very apologetic & offered me a free drink to make up for it. This was brought by Kathryn who was equally apologetic. We enjoyed all our meals there & being served by the staff who seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs.

We went today for lunch. Two of us had the two course festive menu and others had from main menu. Although they were busy we did not have to wait long and food was excellent. Well cooked and hot. Great to have unlimited hot drinks.

Had a Burger and fries here and although the bar area looked clean and tidy I woke up in the night very ill

Order was taken fairly quickly and then waited 25 minutes for food ,ultimate burger was fine,partners sausage and eggs where fine,however chips/fries where very poor as they were like cheap oven fries you would buy from a supermarket also not very hot.

A little worried by the fact that this was a chain restaurant but all ended well. The roast is actually quite nice with Beef, Turkey or Gammon being carved. Not quite sure what the difference between a normal and large portion of meat was but the veg and potatoes are plentiful and pretty tasty. Best of all is the price, more than reasonable. Would recommend, should you find yourself stuck in Hatfield on a Sunday (god forbid).

Parking is easy and free on a weekend. I was surprised when the waitress didn't write down our order, but wow, everything arrived quickly and was well presented. Staff were pleasant and engaging. Certainly eat here again. Floor was a little dirty around our area though.

Lovely carvery, and the chef Kieron who was serving was very polite. Portion size of the meat was really good

went for lunch with our grandson an daughter the 3 adults had the mighty burger it was very very nice an very well cooked coleslaw very crunchy which was very nice our grandson had spag/bol he loved it an ate most of it

The customer service from the bar staff was really good during this visit as during my first order one of the managers charged me full price for a meal that should’ve have been discounted at that time of day but when I ask about it one memeber if bar staff (Rebecca Sumner) was very happy to help and very friendly.

Thought we would give it a try as we had received money off vouchers. So had the rest off Hatfield. Food was second rate, the so called carvery had flies buzzing around it. I really did feel sorry for the poor girl, who was obviously quite new to the job. She tried so hard to please everyone, but she had absolutely no back up. If Brewers fare are going to do a mail shot they really should be prepared. I think it could have been ok if there had been more staff available,

Popped in on a Sunday to the Airfield to grab some food. Went for a carvery and upgraded to have more meat, was very worth it. Staff were extremely welcoming upon my arrival and the food was amazing! Great selection of veg and meat was extremely tender. Great quality of food for a great price. Definitely will be returning and recommending to family and friends

Lovely staff and great food since the menu change in spring this year. Burgers are big..plenty on plate. Always worth getting a buy one get one free offer as this keeps price down and also works with the Bonus Card which again is great as you can build points up.

Went to the airfield for a family dinner and service and food was appoling. My brothers steak was off and tasted foul. Will never go back, this was my second time there. Last time I waited over 1 hour to be served my main meal and left. Went back to give it a second chance- my advice STAY CLEAR of here

Really really good service, very friendly, efficient and gave us great advice on the best food to eat. Food came out quickly and tasted very good- great value for money. I will definitely return!!

It is what you would expect from a brewers Fayre, the staff were brilliant, the service good and courteous, the food is as you would expect from BF, it was well cooked and prepared, and served with efficiency. Nothing was to much trouble, and the staff happy to engage with their customers.

We were staying in the Premier Inn next door and so we used the Brewers Fayre for our meals.The food was of a decent standard and the service was very good.We were particularly impressed with the breakfast.There was a fair selection of cereals etc. and the sausages,bacon ,tomatoes and eggs were cooked to order.Really impressed.

We have visited a few times now, mainly for breakfast and the occasional evening meals, mostly for breakfasts with friends and family. You can choose exactly what you want for your cooked breakfast from a quite extensive list. Its no issue having for example more of mushrooms instead of eggs or if you want have fried, scrambled and poached eggs, or all three. The breakfasts are cooked freshly from your order, and it comes nicely presented, cooked well, and hot. I don’t like fatty bacon and it was not a problem to request lean bacon, or none which I asked for. Also if you are vegetarian there is a choice, and I believe there is vegetarian sausages as well, but can’t confirm that. While you wait for your cooked breakfast you can help yourself to the normal cereals, a selection of fruit & yogurts, toast, crumpets, and croissants. The best bit is the coffee, its Costa Coffee, and you can have free top ups, The only limit is breakfasts finish at around 11:30, but staff warn you so can get any coffee or extras to nibbles while you chat etc. Staff make no move to chase you out so you can enjoy your breakfast in leisure. Recommend, a big yes.

Twice eaten here because of meeting friends but wouldn't be my choice. Average food, lots of noise from kids running around out of control and beer (not lager), not been good either time.

My wife had a very nice Quiche, and we have had reasonable good food there before, but my tandoori mixed grill was burnt lack - like the leftovers at a barbecue. I was hungry enough to dig out what could be salvaged, and told the waitress clearing up that it was pretty pathetic to send stuff like that out to customers. She suggests getting the manager, but he never appeared till we were getting ready to leave - then he ignored us and proceeded to sweep food from the adjacent table around my feet and spray cleaner everywhere - I left the last of my beer - very disappointing.

Good welcome and service at the restaurant, meals presents in a very professional manner, although it was quiet inside there were plenty of people outside in the gardens.

The service I received was amazing. The name of my waitress was Becca. She was helpful and friendly and made sure all food was bought to me quickly.

Booked a table in advance for eight for a birthday meal. There was no waiter/waitress service for our table. So we went up to order after each person. The meals did not come out at the same time. We had to wait for two meals whilst our other party ate. Then when we ordered our puddings the table did not get cleared away. One pudding we had to again wait after we chased it up. We spoke to the duty manager and never got a response not even an apology. I am a regular visited of this place and have had no problems with this place.
