The 21st Amendment Liverpool in Sefton

I was in here last night and 1 of the bar staff accidentally knocked a full pint all over me I did say accidentally but rather than apologise she smiled and walked away I went to the bar to get another pint as she knocked mine over and all her manager said well she didn’t mean it did she again no apology I won’t be rushing back to this bar as staff are very rude and obnoxious

Waited a while just to order food as chef was behind on his orders but food was good although not hot enough felt like it had been sitting waiting to be sent out.

YUK - loud, noisy bar - big groups of young men making ridiculous amount of noise and many were VAPING indoors - even the manager was vaping !!! although he tried to hide this, I could see him -- I was collecting food, which was disgusting and inedible. Avoid at all costs. Totally disorganised and staff not sure what's going on !

Party of aprox 50, pre ordered from Festive menu. Very impressed with standard of food, taste and presentation full marks. Slight delay in between different menu choices being served but service was good.

This is the first time we went to the 21st Amendment on Church Road (just across the road from Penny Lane, Liverpool) The service was spot on, smiling, friendly and attentive. The food looked like Michelin quality and tasted like Michelin quality, The live music was very entertaining, The atmosphere was warm, welcoming and very friendly, All in all, a very good early evening/night out.

Could be a great bar..music fab...bar staff service terrible..four staff but unfortunately only one doing his job...the others to busy talking to serve customers...

Booked a table via Instagram and when we turned up they had no reserved tables. The staff are all unprofessional it’s not clear who is in charge. No explanation of what was going on and no apology. Really disappointed and just left.

Opening hours are incorrectly advertised. We tried to go for a drink at 9.30pm but they were closing, although it does say they are open until 11.30pm. A shame as we really wanted a drink and it's close to the train station.

Liam and I went for lunch at 21st Amendment Hoylake earlier today! Surprisingly they had their Monday offer on of a main and a drink for £13.50 (which I wasn't expecting for a bank holiday) We hadn't been before and hadn't booked so kept our fingers crossed they had a table 🤞 When we arrived, there was a lady on the bar and she said we could sit anywhere (which was lucky as people started to flood in after us). We chose to sit by the bar. The lady (didn't catch her name) asked if we had been before and told us about the offer including the special they had on today. She gave us the menus and took our drink order 🍻 I am very indecisive but went for the special which today was Steak, Chunky Chips and a Peppercorn Sauce..... although I wasn't sure I would have had food envy from Liam who decided on the Korean Chicken Burger 🍔 Also had a pint each to go with (you can have a pint, a glass of wine or a soft drink) I had the Cider and Liam went for the Atlantic Pale. The food arrived and it looked SO good, at £13.50 it is INCREDIBLE value for money! I chose the flat iron steak (3 cuts were available) medium rare, it's my go to when eating steak 🥩 and it was UNREAL, melt in the mouth meat and the chips were crispy and then soft in the middle, you can tell by appearance and taste that the chips were not frozen 🍟 I swear I looked up and Liam had inhaled his burger, apparently it was that good....you couldn't tell 🫣 Definitely have to go back and do their steak night on a Wednesday AND Sunday roast. Service was great (the lady was covering the bar AND the floor) she handled it very well since it was just her.... running round making sure everyone was taken care of. AMAZING! Just need to schedule another visit now....

Staff that are rude and can’t crack a smile . Wouldn’t even look at me after asking for glasses for the bottle of Prosecco we bought . One meal arrived well after we had already ate . And when asking where it was , staff member just said yeah it’s cooking now . Where all rude and not pleasant .

Becky is on the door and a credit to the pub. My father and I were in desperate need and she was the most accommodating person I’ve ever encountered. Thank you.

After going to the doghouse just a few doors down we’re we found staff to be miserable, food mediocre and the female security guard power hungry we decided to try here hoping for a better experience and that’s what we got. Atmosphere was great, music to everyone’s taste, staff happy to help (more than enough staff so we didn’t have to wait to be served) and welcoming friendly door staff (female guard here was an absolute diamond, could teach the hag on the door of the doghouse a thing or 2 about customer service and manners!!) we intended to stay for 1 or 2 drinks but found ourselves staying until closing. Well worth a visit, we will be back again next time we are in Liverpool and hopefully they will be back serving food. Thank you to the bar staff for excellent service and our favourite of the night, the female security guard for making us feel we were at a home from home and were nothing was too much of a bother for her. This place is a GEM!!

Popped in for a drink with my partner after a meal else where Feb 2022 and joined a friend from work who happened to be out and her partner. The atmosphere was good place was busy and bar staff friendly. There was a live singer who was good and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves we stayed longer than we originally planned staying till last orders.

Don’t visit this bar went with my partner and this local who describes himself as a meathead joined us and wouldn’t stop talking about his muscles

This is a lovely, comfortable bar with fair prices, good food and live entertainment. We have spent family nights here on many occasions.

We received a friendly welcome & enjoyed a really great Sunday lunch. I had pork belly and my husband took the lamb. Great veg and gravy! The house red was very nice

Second visit and this time around it has definitely improved, we had a large table in the booth at the back of the restaurant. We were greeted well and the staff were very friendly. Our tapas and drinks where topped up and replaced regularly and was overall a great night. We were made to feel special and really catered for, we could tell the staff were trained well. We will certainly be back during the golf open to see how it’s doing!

A relation of ours booked this for a family Sunday Lunch, but the atmosphere was very much one of a sports bar with the music competing loudly against the Sky Sports on the big screens. The food was really good, the staff were lovely, but we all found it difficult with the noise going on. The top tip I'd give them is "clean yesterday's lipstick off of the glasses before serving the Prosecco"

Welcoming, well laid out and friendly staff. However, although food quality was high, unfortunately the portion sizes were minimal and as such overpriced. This seemed a common complaint amongst other customers so hopefully will be addressed in future. Lester
