This is our favourite place for lunch in Kendal We have never had a bad meal or bad experience Prices are great Food is delicious and homemade Nice coffee and good selection of drinks The staff/owners are always lovely Would recommend to everybody

Just had a late lunch here, loverly food great service & great value for money. Dont go to Costa, turn around & go here instead... well done to who ever owns this place you made us very welcome👍

We dropped in for a coffee and cakes on Saturday afternoon. Great choice the homemade cakes and scones were delicious, millionaires shortbread was up there with the best I’ve tasted. Will definitely return when back in the Kendal area.

After the usual excuses of no meals after about 2 p.m. we had a lovely late lunch in this cafe. The owners were friendly and the food was delicious.

Second visit for us breakfast menu today one full breakfast and scrambled eggs on sourdough toast really good staff are lovely and you can see your food being cooked from fresh.

My friend & I met for our regular lunch date & looking for somewhere different decided to give this 2 friends cafe a try, I'm so glad we did. I had a BBQ chicken burger which was delicious & very filling, the staff were friendly without being overbearing & we weren't made to feel rushed. The prices are reasonable too & my first v it visit will defiantly not be my last

Just a quick something to eat or so we thought!! cafe just sits across from local library and we sat outside as we had our dog. Everything was spotless and clean, lovely cutlery, tea pot, cups and saucers. Food was delicious we ordered 3 cajun chicken and bacon burgers and 1 cumberland sausage and red onion panini. Everything was so tasty and fresh even the salad and dressing and homemade coleslaw was amazing to taste! The 2 staff members were lovely, cheery and helpful. We are going to go back and visit again before heading home. Would definitely recommend as it is easy to pass by!

First time visit and won't be the last. Friendly staff, good food. We had a breakfast and took some cake home. Will make it our regular place from now on.

Was very pleased with my lunch, all freshly homemade. I had a broccoli and feta quiche topped with flaked almonds, together with red cabbage coleslaw. Lovely thin crispy pastry base on the quiche.

I come to this coffee shop almost every day, the food is very tasty, the cakes are handmade from scratch and delicious; also, the staff is always kind and attentive. There is other lovely coffee shops in town, but for me, this is the best coffee shop in town without a doubt.

This place had changed hands since our last visit. We we shocked at the poor levels of service, dirty tables and the scones that were still almost raw in the centre.

We called in yesterday lunchtime after traipsing around Kendal looking for somewhere to eat. From the outside this cafe does not give the impression of the quality food served inside. All staff were welcoming, homemade soup one of the best I have tasted and the portion sizes very generous. I just wish I had purchased one of the fantastic cakes to bring home.

Americano and a fresh scone and butter. Best in Kendal! Always served with a friendly smile. No more needs to be said!

Stopped over in Kendal and chanced upon this cafe the week before Xmas. Prompt, friendly attentive and quick service. Nice festive panini , excellent hot chocolates and mince pies. Reasonably priced - a nice little place with great staff. Thank you

Popped in this morning in the hope of a breakfast certainly was not disappointed, friendly welcome, efficient service, great full English with excellent sourdough toast and a piping hot fresh Americano. The cakes were very tempting but alas it was too early in the day....

My husband and I called here when visiting Kendal and what a find the staff were very friendly and the place was super clean.we both had the quiche salad the presentation was fabulous everything was fresh and coleslaw home made but the quiche WOW !...

Stopped for coffee, maybe cake. Nothing exciting our taste buds. Staff not welcoming or friendly, in fact felt like we were in the way! Coffee mediocre. Rather go to McDonalds over the road.

We paid £7.50 for a small panini with undercooked bacon and a soggy salad on the side. The can of Fanta was also £2.15. Totally overpriced for small portions and average food. We were envious of the people eating at the cafe next door!
