Great friendly service, food was spot on... cheap and cheerful, great food for the price, lots of choices for drinks... although I would have liked a Stella, there's nothing to whinge or moan about, friendly bar staff. The self service station for condiments works a treat as you don't have to wait around to ask for sauces, knives forks etc... 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Came for lunch. Very good, affordable, as to be expected. Quick efficient service and friendly staff as always. Will be back again!

Always such a lovely and pleasant atmosphere. Every time me and my family come we are always met with such polite friendly staff who go out of their way to make sure our time is enjoyable. The kids are brought colouring pages and colours to keep them occupied. We ask for the children’s food to come out first so then it has chance to cool down before the adults food comes out so then we are able to all eat together.

Shocking terrible service our chip were cold sent them back waited a further 5 minutes for hot chips by which time we had eaten eaten our burger

Great pub! Staff friendly food hood and beer great. Good value for money. My new local after The White Bear closed in the village. Some great deals on food/drink. Definitely worth the walk out of the village.

WE used to be able to use blue light to get 15% off now we are no longer allowed to do that when we went yesterday 30/07/2024 very dissapointed

Was our first time eating there so we hadn’t a clue how to order food. Nothing explained to us when we got seated. There were glasses on the table when we sat down and not once did it get cleaned. Table was sticky, menus greasy. Glasses were Filthy and came with a cheap shade of Nelson red lipstick……Asked for clean ones and they came with even more lipstick. I had to clean them myself at the help yourselves to cutlery, napkins and everything else station. Food arrived in dribs and drabs by a convoy of expressionless, vacant looking waiting on staff. Never once did we get a check back from any of them. I don’t think we actually saw one again. They’ve not been recruited for personalities that’s for sure. The place is messy, dysfunctional and badly organised. Blokes going the toilet in groups and coming out wiping their noses is a clear sign this venue is being used for drugs. I understand it goes on but this is meant to be a family restaurant so it needs controlling better. I really don’t understand what Greene Kings intention is with this brand but it feels dated and tired. Starters and sides served in cheap red plastic baskets, the whole cycle of helping yourself to cutlery and condiments, the get up and order at the bar….. far too many customers up and down every 5 mins makes it look messier and doesn’t flow well. The good thing about our visit was the exit door behind us and a walk into Barrowford.

Called in for a spot of lunch I had cheese burger as did my husband it was served within 10 minutes of ordering was well presented and hot. Sophie was the waitress that served us was very helpful and had a smile on her face obviously happy in her work place

Birthday meal booked and staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. They made sure we had everything we needed and it was a perfect family day out.

Fantastic food as always! Lovely atmosphere massive thank you to the lady behind the bar Jade who was so helpful when ordering food for fussy eaters and helped with anything we needed, only down fall was the place was packed and they seemed short staffed on a busy lunch

Terrible service. Apparently if you turn up absolutely steaming and tell the female bar staff she has nice eyes it gets you served before everyone else who were waiting ages before you!!! The male bar staff acknowledged that it had happened but no apology.

Enjoyed watching a West Ham game here early October, plenty of top quality screens including a large projector one. Great service at the bar and plenty of seating to view. Recommended if you want to catch a game

Firstly I would like to say what a lovely place this is. I came in to have a business meeting with a new potential client. And I was greeted by Leanne who was very bubbly and very friendly to my party of 4. The food was very tasty. And the atmosphere was very chilling. Absolutely amazing place to come and chill to eat and drink at the weekend. Leanne behind the bar and on the waitressing side was so funny keeping us laughing throughout the day. Highly recommended

The place is always really busy and atmosphere lively. Food is fast service and if you get the daily deals you get a bargain. Friendly team and football on the big screens.

Staff always rushed off their feet but always smiling and doing their best. More staff would mean less waiting as it’s always busy.

Take care with the parking, just got a parking fine for parking whilst in the place, they look to have recently introduced a third party enforcement company, they the staff don’t warn you! I have been visiting for years, no more.

The food was not as advertised , awful and not eaten! And The salt and pepper chips were chips with sprinkled powder on them you use for cooking !
