But when the food arrived it was spot on, tasty and fresh. Recovered. Please try to get your delivery estimates accurate or update before the first estimate expires!

The delivery time was already longer then advertised (it said 25-35 minutes when I was ordering it, but when I placed the order it changed to 70 minutes!). Never mind that, I was ok to wait for 70 min but you can imagine how annoying that it actually took 95 minutes! And not any kind of warning or apologies! The app never updated either! The food is lovely but I won’t be waiting for 95 minutes again!! I’ll give this place one more chance but if it happens again that’s it.

Hemos probado muchos platos de sushi en el área local y este es, de lejos, el peor. En realidad vomité desafortunadamente después. El arroz de sushi estaba muy mal preparado. Lo esperaría si lo hubiera preparado yo mismo, pero nunca he tenido esta experiencia de un llamado 'restaurante' experto. La calidad era realmente pobre y las texturas eran grasosas o secas y recocidas. Realmente no perdería su tiempo en este caso.

Normalmente soy un cliente regular que ordena las mismas cosas cada vez, así que cuando recibí mi pedido hoy con un sabor asqueroso con pescado que estaba blando en tu boca, llamé para pedir un reembolso que dijeron que enviarían más tarde esa noche. Al encontrar la situación completa un poco rara, llamé a JustEat directamente para comprobar que estaría bien. Luego llamaron al restaurante y les dijeron que no aprobaban un reembolso bajo ninguna circunstancia. Al escuchar esto, llamé al restaurante y le pregunté por qué me dijeron que, después de confirmarme, podría obtener un reembolso. Dijeron que le dijeron a JustEat que esto estaba bien y que JustEat se lo estaba procesando. Transmití esta información solo para comer, quien los llamó nuevamente y les dije que habían rechazado el reembolso. ¡Este es un servicio espantoso! Estuve en el teléfono por más de 40 minutos con Thames Sushi acostado en mi cara para mantener el dinero de su horrible sushi. ¡Todos son mentirosos y manipuladores! Podrían haber sido honestos y dijeron que no podía obtener un reembolso. Incluso pedí hablar con alguien más alto y dijeron que nadie estaría allí hasta el lunes, sin embargo, cuando JustEat llamó, ¡hablaron con el gerente y el propietario! I said to myself, after my first bad order from these guys, I wouldn't order again but I decided to give them a second chance. The sushi was fine (albeit too salty). The £3 carton of plain rice was a joke - terrible tiny portion. The curly fries were a joke - again, terrible portion and because the delivery was late, also soggy. I told the manager on the phone, if the delivery is late the food will be bad and his answer was that the delivery guy keeps it in a bag that keeps the food warm. This wasn't my point. The point is the food steams itself in the cartons if it's not freshly delivered. The chicken yaki don was horrible. Overcooked and no where near the quality you'd expect. I won't be ordering from here again and would recommend Hare and Tortoise instead. The only shame is that Hare and Tortoise don't deliver. Waste of money, for the second time.

There was a lot of chilli powder on most of the sushi, I wasn't expecting anything spicey on anything. The rice was really soft and there was far too much of it put on the sushi. Very disappointed

Second time i order from them (1x over the phone, 1x with just-eat) and both times the sushi was warm, which I didn't enjoy. Just looked it up, and apparently the rice should be served at room temperature. I've always had it chilled but warm both times from Thams Sushi, so I'm not gonna complain about it since they served it the way it's supposed to be served. Complaint would be they forgot to deliver the large bottle of coke. Delivery was long but within the estimated time given once the order was placed.

Food was okay, a bit below average. Very salty and not authentic. Acceptable as it's just takeaway. But I waited for more than 2 hours for the food to be delivered. Arrived 50 minutes past the informed delivery time. I called the restaurant and they said this is cuz the restaurant is busy. The guy who delivered was nice and apologised. Still I think the massive delay was not acceptable... Never had to wait for that long without any notification or compensation.

We ordered smoked salmon and cream cheese rolls as part of our order, instead they made and delivered salmon rolls. We didn't call about it because really what was the point. After waiting an hour and twenty minutes we wanted our food not an apology, discount or excuse. Of the 3 dozen rolls that were delivered all of them fell apart when picking them up. Rolls were loose, poorly made, and just looked sloppy. It tasted nice, minus the salmon rolls, and delivery was on time but the quality was subpar compared to other orders we've placed with Thames Sushi.

Every time I order, I get the notification that "the restaurant has added X minutes to your order" so they need to just give better estimates. Food goes missing - I had one order disappear for TWO HOURS and then finally appear. Last night it was 20 minutes later than the already extended time, meaning it took over an hour and a half to get food. If you call for missing food, the staff/owner(?) doesn't even slightly care and tells you to wait longer. The food is fine. But the service is appalling. I can't believe they're allowed to be listed on Just Eat.

on couple of occasions the driver didn't have any change on him and had to come back after 10minutes after having to go to a shop to get some I presume so it would be great to make sure he always has some change on him. the food is nice though. my only suggestion is to use pickeled ginger and wasabi out a jar and not the tiny sachets, would make it a lot easier :-)

If I could give no stars I would - waited an hour and 10 minutes for Sushi from a restaurant less than 5 minutes away. When it FINALLY arrived the crab was stale, hard and dry like it had been left out in the Sahara desert for 3 days. There was nothing fresh about this meal. After speaking to JE the restaurant refused to refund me aparently the food was fine... certainly not by my standard. First they used the exuse that the crab was deep fried. .. then they said they had a new supplier..which one is it? Perhaps you should own up to the poor quality of food and horrendous customer service and give me my money back!
