It's OK. That's almost all I can say about the food. Not bad and not good. The dried mushrooms didn't work in the katsu curry because they were literally too dry and not even hot. It felt like an inadequate salad dish. So, I wouldn't be in a hurry to repeat the experience. The thing I do not support the most is their use of throwaway packaging and plastics; especially for eat-in customers. Please STOP the plastic waste and damage to the environment.

I bought the Japanese fried chicken and the edamame beans. The beans were great, as were the rice and veg in the bowl, however the chicken was clearly undercooked which I only noticed when I was on my train home while eating it. Has made me feel very unwell, very disappointed .

As a regular customer, I had seen some mixed reviews before, but after my recent experience, I can confidently say this place is a gem. From the moment I walked in, the service was exceptional. The server, a kind and courteous South Asian gentleman named DHANDEEP, truly elevated the dining experience. He was not only humble but also extremely attentive to every detail, making sure to cater to my preferences with such grace and professionalism. His warm demeanor made me feel welcome and valued as a guest. I also appreciated his honesty in informing me about the difference in charges for dine-in and takeaway, which I thought was completely fair, especially given how busy the restaurant was. On top of that, they offer a student discount, which is a nice bonus, making it even more affordable for students like me. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, vibrant, and beautifully presented. The entire experience, from the impeccable service to the quality of the dishes, was truly delightful. I’m already looking forward to my next visit and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for great sushi and even better service!

As a loyal customer of this establishment, I’ve always considered it my favourite spot for a meal in London. However, my experience today left me deeply disappointed and quite shaken. I’m a young, student with autism, and after a long day without food, I visited to get my usual order—the vegan crunchy roll with avocado maki on the side. I was initially told that the dish wasn’t available, despite it being on the menu. After showing the item to the staff, they reluctantly agreed to serve it. I was asked if I wanted to dine in, which I typically do. In my past visits, I’ve never been charged a service fee, but this time I was. When I kindly requested a refund to apply my student discount and remove the service fee—something I understand was my oversight—the staff member began raising his voice. I tried to explain that I regularly visit and am familiar with the usual price I pay, but he kept insisting that the service fee comes out of his own pocket. His tone escalated to the point that I was on the verge of tears, especially as someone with a disability who finds such confrontations particularly distressing. To make matters worse, I noticed the chefs at the back laughing at the situation. This was, without a doubt, the worst experience l've ever had at a restaurant, and it has affected me so much mentally. As a student who values kindness and understanding, this experience was deeply upsetting. I hope that this store will reconsider how they treat their customers, especially those who may need a bit more patience. The time and day I entered were Friday 4th October 2024, sometime between 20:50 to 21:20. I was scared to ask for names, but there were three male staff members: the server, who appeared to be South Asian, and two chefs—one who appeared to be East Asian and another I couldn’t clearly see. The chef who appeared to be East Asian was the one I noticed laughing during the incident.

The best Asian fast food in the heart of Marylbone! I come here quite often as a vegetarian they have a lot of amazing variations such as veg sushi and Katsu curry’s! Of course they also have fish sushi and Chicken curry’s. Also the price is very good, it does not go above £11 which is impossible these days in London.. Highly recommend! X

The rice is getting less and less conpared to befote, I am a regular customer i noticed this straight away, please add a little more as you were used to do it before.

The food itself is neither good nor outrageously bad, it’s just basic, lukewarm fast food. The staff on the other hand act like they’re stoned or asleep and will charge you for eat in prices even when you tell them it’s for takeaway. They play obnoxiously loud music on speakers right in front of the ordering counter, and they generally operate with no sense of urgency. I understand that these employees are generally failing in life, but they needn’t take it out on the public.

Vegetarian roles were really good but the salmon wasn’t fresh and had a weird taste, and the rice under the chicken was extremely over cooked and had little taste to no taste.

Despite reading the negative reviews about the fish being unfresh I still went ahead and ordered salmon box . Sadly I threw half of my order (all that contained raw fish) away and only managed to eat seafood that was cooked. Frustrated and disappointed. £30 gone with the wind .

The worst place I ever eat sushi. Fish was smelling very bad . Rice was under cooked and dry. Avocado was black and disgusting. Waiting 30 min for 1 box of sushi ? For my safety I At last I need to throw the food in the bin because it’s disgusting. I would never recommend this place. Staff was unfriendly, don’t understand English much.

I ordered 2 chicken katsu curry and 1 spring box, but only half of the order arrived. I called Youme Sushi, but they claimed to have packed the full order and instructed me to contact Uber Eats. I contacted Uber Eats and spent 2 hours explaining the situation to both the bank and Uber Eats. They should refund my money and offer an apology for the inconvenience.

Great food. Food takes a bit of a while to arrive and the place always seems to be empty but I like some peace and quiet works well for me maybe not for others.

You me sushi had lied about when it was delivered and so I could not track the delivery. I called to tell them I had not received it, they had said that it has not left the shop. When it was apparently delivered, the driver left with the goods

Usually great quality food but the curry I received today was vile, slapped into the box without care snd missing half the ingredients. It was ice cold and tasted very stale and soggy. This, as well as the price increase means i’ll be avoiding in future. There are better japanese places.

Wow, What an Experience! Youmeshushi totally won me over with their awesome sushi! I saw their cool videos about the new store opening and just had to try it. The sushi was so fresh and tasty, and there were so many options to choose from. The staff was really nice and the vibe of the place was just right. Calling all sushi fans - you've gotta check this place out! I'm already excited for my next visit. 🍣🤩

I ate a really good soup and DC the cashier was really gentile.

I ordered miso soup and Not one piece of tofu!!!! Just water and one or two seaweed leave.

I learnt how to use the stick with DC , and for the first time I managed to pick my Katsu chicken with sticks !!! Though he was very busy with orders but he gave me his busy time yet he was helping me with smile and energy of joy , loved this brunch and DC thank you for the professional heart to heart service can’t wait to finish my loyal card and show him how I will finish my katsu carry without fork ! Definitely I’m coming back again xx

I buy a katsu curry for home, after the guy gave me attitude because I have a helmet on and he thought i am some delivery driver, he served me with a raw chicken, I discovered this when i came back home and i still don't understand how is it possible to make such a basic mistake..I don't care about the service, I understand that the guy hate his job but the chef needs to know how to cook. Especially when you can get seriously ill.

I had a guest over and ordered this before they arrived. This food arrived over an hour late - and was marked delivered 20 mins before it finally made its way here. The food was cold. Its not my responsibility to teach drivers how to deliver food.

The fish was stinking, inedible. We had to throw in the garbage and are really scarred of having food poisoning, because we tried one. My daughter had one sushi and it’s her birthday tomorrow. Unaccectable a sushi like this, they are scammers.

Hugely disappointing experience. The sushi delivered to me had a very strong and pungent smell (I contacted the restaurant to inquire about this and they advised me not to consume the fish as it could be dangerous). Had to throw away my order (worth almost 45£). The restaurant advised me that Deliveroo would refund me for my order, but when I contacted Deliveroo, they said that it was the restaurant's responsibility to refund me. I think it is unacceptable that a restaurant offers food that might very well be unsafe to consume, and then does not even offer compensation. Would never recommend to anyone.

I started off as a fam of Youmesushi for the £10 deal but I've been a regular since! I ordered for myself and my family and they're still exceptional value and quality! Huge thanks to team lead Joanna, Dhandeep and the kitchen team! They provided an excellent service and took such good care of us and will definitely be back again!

Hello, Just ordered sushi from youme sushi… “NEVER IN MY LIFE I GOT THIS BAD SUSHI” I call them and the woman (east europian accent), I asked why they send me edemame frozen en sashimi maybe 5-6 days old, even the sushi with tigershrimps were so bad, so cold.. and she says we send it always like that!!! How rude.. never order from YOUME SUSHI, the worst you can get, better go edware road and kebab.. even that’s suesid!!! Regard alex
