You Me Sushi in City of London, Westminster

Disappointed when I found out that the sauces they use on the sushi, specifically the volcano and dragon rolls, are not Halal, when they advertise themselves as being alcohol free and halal-friendly! Please ensure that the halal options are clearly displayed to make it easier for customers.

Staff were nice, meal was delicious and quickly delivered. And they filled up my water bottle for free too. The interior design is nice. Portions were generous.

The service is excellent and the food is top tier, always fresh.

Good choice of food. Chicken katsu was awesome. The shop itself requires some face lift and furniture requires replacement. Seats are wobbly but food is nice.

The best Asian fast food in the heart of Marylbone! I come here quite often as a vegetarian they have a lot of amazing variations such as veg sushi and Katsu curry’s! Of course they also have fish sushi and Chicken curry’s. Also the price is very good, it does not go above £11 which is impossible these days in London.. Highly recommend! X

I very love your food But your costumes service what I get today from your GM was very bad , I spend 25£ I bay 3 boxes and I get only one stamp I try to pay separately but he refuses me I never see that bud service like today I’m working in sushi place too , but I’m coming to you shop every time because I like your food , but this time your service was very disappointing.

The rice is getting less and less conpared to befote, I am a regular customer i noticed this straight away, please add a little more as you were used to do it before.

The food itself is neither good nor outrageously bad, it’s just basic, lukewarm fast food. The staff on the other hand act like they’re stoned or asleep and will charge you for eat in prices even when you tell them it’s for takeaway. They play obnoxiously loud music on speakers right in front of the ordering counter, and they generally operate with no sense of urgency. I understand that these employees are generally failing in life, but they needn’t take it out on the public.

Vegetarian roles were really good but the salmon wasn’t fresh and had a weird taste, and the rice under the chicken was extremely over cooked and had little taste to no taste.

Despite reading the negative reviews about the fish being unfresh I still went ahead and ordered salmon box . Sadly I threw half of my order (all that contained raw fish) away and only managed to eat seafood that was cooked. Frustrated and disappointed. £30 gone with the wind .

The worst place I ever eat sushi. Fish was smelling very bad . Rice was under cooked and dry. Avocado was black and disgusting. Waiting 30 min for 1 box of sushi ? For my safety I At last I need to throw the food in the bin because it’s disgusting. I would never recommend this place. Staff was unfriendly, don’t understand English much.

I ordered 2 chicken katsu curry and 1 spring box, but only half of the order arrived. I called Youme Sushi, but they claimed to have packed the full order and instructed me to contact Uber Eats. I contacted Uber Eats and spent 2 hours explaining the situation to both the bank and Uber Eats. They should refund my money and offer an apology for the inconvenience.

Great food. Food takes a bit of a while to arrive and the place always seems to be empty but I like some peace and quiet works well for me maybe not for others.

You me sushi had lied about when it was delivered and so I could not track the delivery. I called to tell them I had not received it, they had said that it has not left the shop. When it was apparently delivered, the driver left with the goods

Usually great quality food but the curry I received today was vile, slapped into the box without care snd missing half the ingredients. It was ice cold and tasted very stale and soggy. This, as well as the price increase means i’ll be avoiding in future. There are better japanese places.

Used to be the best sushi place in the area but over the past few months quality has really come down and food is now at best average. Will now be looking for a new alternative, quality is just not there

Wow, What an Experience! Youmeshushi totally won me over with their awesome sushi! I saw their cool videos about the new store opening and just had to try it. The sushi was so fresh and tasty, and there were so many options to choose from. The staff was really nice and the vibe of the place was just right. Calling all sushi fans - you've gotta check this place out! I'm already excited for my next visit. 🍣🤩

I ate a really good soup and DC the cashier was really gentile.

I ordered miso soup and Not one piece of tofu!!!! Just water and one or two seaweed leave.

I learnt how to use the stick with DC , and for the first time I managed to pick my Katsu chicken with sticks !!! Though he was very busy with orders but he gave me his busy time yet he was helping me with smile and energy of joy , loved this brunch and DC thank you for the professional heart to heart service can’t wait to finish my loyal card and show him how I will finish my katsu carry without fork ! Definitely I’m coming back again xx

I buy a katsu curry for home, after the guy gave me attitude because I have a helmet on and he thought i am some delivery driver, he served me with a raw chicken, I discovered this when i came back home and i still don't understand how is it possible to make such a basic mistake..I don't care about the service, I understand that the guy hate his job but the chef needs to know how to cook. Especially when you can get seriously ill.

I had a guest over and ordered this before they arrived. This food arrived over an hour late - and was marked delivered 20 mins before it finally made its way here. The food was cold. Its not my responsibility to teach drivers how to deliver food.

The fish was stinking, inedible. We had to throw in the garbage and are really scarred of having food poisoning, because we tried one. My daughter had one sushi and it’s her birthday tomorrow. Unaccectable a sushi like this, they are scammers.

Hugely disappointing experience. The sushi delivered to me had a very strong and pungent smell (I contacted the restaurant to inquire about this and they advised me not to consume the fish as it could be dangerous). Had to throw away my order (worth almost 45£). The restaurant advised me that Deliveroo would refund me for my order, but when I contacted Deliveroo, they said that it was the restaurant's responsibility to refund me. I think it is unacceptable that a restaurant offers food that might very well be unsafe to consume, and then does not even offer compensation. Would never recommend to anyone.

I started off as a fam of Youmesushi for the £10 deal but I've been a regular since! I ordered for myself and my family and they're still exceptional value and quality! Huge thanks to team lead Joanna, Dhandeep and the kitchen team! They provided an excellent service and took such good care of us and will definitely be back again!

Hello, Just ordered sushi from youme sushi… “NEVER IN MY LIFE I GOT THIS BAD SUSHI” I call them and the woman (east europian accent), I asked why they send me edemame frozen en sashimi maybe 5-6 days old, even the sushi with tigershrimps were so bad, so cold.. and she says we send it always like that!!! How rude.. never order from YOUME SUSHI, the worst you can get, better go edware road and kebab.. even that’s suesid!!! Regard alex

The smell that comes out of this place is DISGUSTING. I pass by it everyday and have to hold my breath or else I end up gagging. No restaurant has a smell this bad coming out, what's going on??

I almost didnt get anything from here because the Google rating was so low and the photos of the food looked so poor on their menu. But it was 8pm, I was on my way to catch a train, starving and just decided to get something anyway because the staff was so friendly. So happy I did! I was really impressed by the miso aubergine, beautifully cooked and not too sweet. I’ve had so many miso aubergines (I’m vegan) and this one was really delicious! I was not expecting a lot, but the flavour and texture was perfect and the rice and edamame beans with roasted peppers was a lovely compliment. Kept me full on my journey and no bad aftertastes, seemed very fresh and took 10 min to prepare but I didn’t mind waiting for it. Highly recommend this place. Nice staff, decent vegan food options, I just wouldn’t eat inside because the table / decor / lighting is a bit grimy.

AVOID AVOID FOOD POISONING I have been ordering from Chiswick branch through their app almost every week during months cause I like your vegan choices. Many times I have received wrong items/missing ingredients. Ok… But today the seaweed in my Poke was clearly off, it stinks and it taste as vinegar, I hope I don’t get sick! Then I have called them to let them know, first answer I get from the lady at the phone is they don’t use seaweed so the food is not from them “really?” When I explained is the wakame in the poke, second answer: it comes manufactured from outside so we don’t cook it so nothing to do with us. An insult as a customer and a hazard for the public THIS BUSINESS IS BEING REPORTED TO THE FOOD STANDARDS AGENCY. AVOID!

£50+ order and no soy sauce.. maybe I am wrong.. I have never ordered sushi without soy and had to spend 20 mins going to the shop (after delivery) in order to enjoy what is actually pretty yummy food. I paid for delivery and could have gone and picked it up myself saving delivery cost plus the massive soy now sitting in my fridge…. Got offered 1 quid as compensation which I rejected (via Deliveroo) Can’t really blame Deliveroo as youmesushi walthamstow branch failed to provide the essential element of a sushi compliment ? (Ginger and wasabi present) I would be happy to improve the rating if I was offered some sympathy / apology / compensation - Deliveroo offered £1 - ONE POUND… The food is good, however, if it doesn’t come ready to eat what’s the point. I did get FIVE pairs of chopsticks though… (meal for 2) Lemme know if you guys want my custom again Pls

The manager will know who wrote this: the rice was stale ! It was either in the fridge too long or it was actually old. I called to inform the manager and he spent the entire time trying to convince me that it’s me the problem and not his shop. I just explained what I had to say and he kept telling me “it’s not us, the rice is made every two hours so it’s not possible.” He couldn’t even apologise and be professional by offering either a replacement or a refund. I asked for a replacement and he said no he will issue a refund instead. The lack of professionalism and customer service is shocking. By the way, the Misou soup tastes like hot water - what on earth is going on at this branch as everyone seems to be complaining about it. To the manager who poorly dealt with my complaint “shame on you, you don’t deserve the position you have. Educate yourself and learn some manners”. Disgusting people. I’ve ordered soooooooo many times from this place and spent thousands a year I will NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN !!!!

Hampstead High Street has 2 excellent Sushi take away offerings but YOU ME SUSHI is not one of them. BEST STAY AWAY and go to either of the other 2 which are always reliable and great. You me sushi's food last night was terrible. The contents of the Salmon box were so cold and drying out they were inedible; perhaps made in the morning and stored too cold all day? Even the miso soup was so over salted that the usual delicate flavors were lost. The Gyoza dumplings had skins akin to dried cardboard rather than being moreish delicious little dainty savoury parcels. I ordered Eel Nigiri but the server mixed my order and included more inedible salmon. Its prices are lower than its 2 competitors, but no wonder; even if they were giving it away I would steer well away from You Me Sushi!

Manager is always lovely, when I worked in Marylebone this was my go to lunch place and now I’ve moved I visited and she gave extra sauces free of charge and packed everything so perfectly!
