Terrible service, the employees don't even look at our faces, they treat the drivers as if they were rubbish.

Marylebone branch. Take away. I thought this was excellent Sushi. Fresh tasting. Delicate and fine. Definitely better than supermarket Sushi, so there is a warranted price differential. Will go back.

Have been going here for a few months now and let me say that the sushi is some of the freshest I have ever had! Was first greeted and served by Nadir, talked me through the new items on their menu (didn't push to upsell like most places) and ever since I visit at least once a week. The quality food plus friendly faces and service will always keep my custom!

This is torture!! The worst quality sushi I have ever eaten in my life. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Low quality sushi and wrong order. Everything tasted weird and defined not fish. My noodles were over cooked and became mush by the time they arrived.

Got a takeaway. Before leaving looked in the bag, the noodles didn’t even cover the bottom of the bowl. All stuck together. Salmon super dry. Very unfortunate looking. I asked the staff if it’s meant to look like this or if I just got leftovers from the pan. They said it’s how it looks. I wrote to customer services but they didn’t even bother to reply. It’s my local takeaway spot and it’s not the first time hot food was terrible. So I think it’s safe to say I won’t be back

Avoid at all cost. Low quality sushi, rice not holding shape, nori chewy, salmon having bones even in the sashimi and maki. Served in paper boxes but menu showing plates and fancy chopsticks. Overpriced with incompetent “chefs”. Shame this place is even open.

Ridiculously low quality food. With such great food options around this neighbourhood do not make the mistake of coming or ordering from here.

The sushi is great for the price. Always have good offers going on and treat loyal customers well. Love the fact with each order you earn credit which you can use on future orders!

I've been ordering for years and I’ve noticed the quality decreasing and decreasing, but was coming back because of some original creations. I’ll stop now, this is simply not good anymore. Firstly, they keep making mistakes in the order and deliver the wrong products; funny enough it's always a cheapest one! mistakes happen but with this shop, they happen far too often. And they don't have a customer service, no one cares, your emails go in a vacuum, so forget about getting a refund. Secondly, the quality of sushi is now subpar. Their Philadelphia cheese has barely any salmon, it was so thin at some places it wasn’t even covering the rice, and theta is happening 3 out of 4 times. If you don’t have enough salmon anymore then don’t sell salmon sushi, instead of spreading it thin like cigarette paper! The rice was dry, there was barely any cheese either, the whole thing was bland, this was just inedible. Although they try and offer innovative sushi, they don’t know how to make them and use subpar ingredients, and they just taste awful now. The quality is simply too low and it doesn’t taste good anymore; they rank even below the mainstream chains, serving tasteless plastic sushi. Such a shame.

The quality and flavour of this sushi was amazing. I enjoyed the creativeness of the flavour combinations for the summer pack. The service was great, welcomed promptly on arrival and my order was just finishing being prepared even though I was early for my click and collect time. The process to sign up for the loyalty programme was very easy to do before completing my first order online. I hope the quality of the sushi and service I received at the Marylebone store is just as good at other stores. I look forward to returning.

A cosy area, very warm friendly staff, lovely to chat to, also explained a few things to me. I had a ramen, very fresh, tasty and a good size, wife had teriyaki salmon poke, fresh and a good size. Next time in the area will come again (visiting from watford)

I made an order via TooGoodToGo app and I didn’t expect that the service will worsen that much. For the price of £5.5 I got just one small box of sushi (6 pieces). Therefore the price for it was almost the same as I would buy it without using TooGoodToGo app. I also must to add that I made a few times before an orders via TooGoodToGo app at SushiShop Marylebone and I got 2 huge boxes of sushi + miso soup. I know that the policy of the app says that the thing I will get is a surprise but I think that giving super small box of sushi is against the idea of this app. Moreover the app says about the food in plural therefore I shall get at least two items. In conclusion I can say that the service has worsened so much comparing my previous orders and visits to at SushiShop Marylebone.

Remember when the owner confuse me supposing I was the delivery driver and didn’t let Me use the premises toilet. How about ,what’s wrong delivery driver to use a toilet? Hope You lose all in life and get same treatment as you give to people! Look reviews …. How u treat people!

Expensive for refrigerated sushi otherwise just ok. We past by and we were hungry.

The only reason for being in the place was desperation for some sustenance. At least the gyoza and maki were passable whereas the so called Yakitori was dire.

Rude staff and while waiting to talk with staff he where talking on phone nearly 5-10 mins….i work in caffee and i know how we supposed to talk with costumers. They need to be more friendly and bit more kind! Everyone have a bad days its not mean that they have to be rude to the people!!!

Delivery was super fast but I think that’s because they prepackage their rolls in some cases and just driver a pre-made box. If I wanted refrigerated rolls, I’d pick some up from the grocery store. Portion was big, though… I just dont like cold sushi rolls

There is a very slow service. employees lie about waiting time. chef is preparing food with bare hands.

Good interior design, however the seats a very heavy to move, the sushi is served off the shelf, the toilets needed TLC. Would go here again if the sushi is made fresh for customers eating in and the toilet is cleaner.

The portion was tremendously small. I’ve never had such small and thin sashimi before (see image below). For what it’s worth, it is not worth it. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Average sushi at above average prices. When you dine in, they don't make it fresh, it comes out of their display fridge.

I love the sushi here but I am getting fed up of constantly waiting on my order. No matter what time I specify it to be ready for it had never even been started until I get there. Then I have to wait whilst deliveroo/Uber eats orders get prioritised. Sometimes I’ve been kept waiting 30 mins for two signature rolls which doesn’t seem right. I don’t really know why they encourage you to order in advance and then not process the orders. Notes on my order are always ignored too. However the quality is always good in the end and I think for take out sushi it’s the absolute best around

Best Sushi Shop out of all 5. Best service, very fast compared to other stores. Didnt even have to wait 3 minutes for a box for two. Despite the huge lunch rush they have. Sushi Shop Marylebone, definitely a experience worth having! The Team is mostly guys, but they are buzzing and bubbly!

Fish (especially Yellowtail and Tuna) had a weird taste and smell… proof that ut wasn’t really fresh.

I don't like the delay in ordering. Even when there is no movement on the spot. I made this first comment 10 months ago. Nothing changed! The delay continues . Updating: Time passes and this place gets the worst service. I arrived at the location, showed the order number to the attendant. They didn't bother to check. Good sushi, but horrible customer service. I have ordered sushi for delivery - there was an issue with the driver, but nobody could have provided any update. When I asked for a cancellation and refund, they hang out on me. So no sushi and no refund. Stay away from this shop.

I often take away food from here. The staff at the shop could be off-putting depending on the day. I gave my number to check if I have any reward on the account today, he replied, ZERO. Wow it was an odd tone to a simple innocent question. Then after I paid, I realised that he said nothing yet, so I said thank you and good bye first -- what happened to common decency?!

When I came to pick up my food the staff were outside smoking and made me wait for 20 minutes… all the packages were smelling like cigarettes, they were rude and inconvenient.

I was a bit underwhelmed with the selection and the prices. The seafood is fresh and well cut. Very good - ate it too fast to photo haha (had salmon sashimi), but really feel for takeaway and the sizes its really, really pricey.

Like other Sushi places of late, decreased foot fall and customers seems to be impacting the quality and freshness of food. I have ordered from here several times previously and was quite happy with what I received. The sandos are dramatically overpriced for what they are, the raw ingredient cost is likely no more than £2-3 and is being sold for £11. An average tasting, overpriced and quite small sandwich. The sushi box I ordered (having enjoyed the same one previously) was clearly not fresh. One component of the box had discoloured, translucent looking and horrible smelling salmon (photo) that was clearly a food safety issue. The 'crispy' bits on top of the sushi were soggy. Unfortunately as I made the unwise decision to order through UberEats, there was no route for compensation for this. And to add insult to injury, I paid extra for teriyaki sauces and they were not included, but I was charged.

Absolutely disgraceful DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE Bought a salmon bowl, paid extra for the large option Got a small bowl of rice with a coupe of leaves and no salmon!! At all!! Thought it should have been a mistake so I reported the error. Nope, they're not responsible if the size doesn't meet my expectations. What size, the size that I paid extra to have?? Oh, OK I guess it was also me who was wrong expecting to have salmon in a salmon bowl. Crazy!

Food is good, if pricey. Service is consistently grumpy slow and snobbish. This shop is somewhere we'd have gone regularly if the service was better - instead we've actively tried to avoid it because the few times we poked our noses inside or bought some takeaway we've not been impressed.

We’ve ordered this for delivery over 10 times and the standard has been exceptional every time. Fresh, tasty sushi. Recommend the Signature Rock n Roll and the Signature Fire Roll to those who like chilli. Love this place!

Terrible service which is a shame because the sushi is good. The guy at the till kept insisting I get the refrigerated boxes when I wanted a larger freshly prepared box. When I chose the box from the menu he said if I wanted that then I would wait 30-45 minutes (which is not the case because I have ordered from here before and that was never the case!) the guy was a bit of a jerk when I said I didn’t want refrigerated Sushi! Shame will never come to this location again!

Customer service levels have dropped significantly since reopening post lockdown. Staff will literally shout at you for not wearing a mask, even when collecting an online order a metre from the entrance. Quality of food is great, however the sashimi slices have been getting thinner recently.

Really disappointed with Sushi Shop this evening. We have ordered from here lots of times and its always fine (rather westernised and mayonnaise-filled sushi, but its fine), but tonight was really disappointing... One of the salmon-set boxes smelled like it was rotten and we couldn't eat it. I phoned the store to let them know and they apologised, the guy said it has only been in the fridge since this morning, but really that is not good enough! Their prices are expensive, and during these quiet times, surely they can make sushi fresh for customers?! Frankly I expect it not to have sat there all day for £58 for two people...! i wont be going back

Having walked past this branch of Sushi Shop I was tempted by the glossy photography in the menu and attractive shop front. Major mistake. All dishes simply an insult to genuine sushi. Even their signature dishes were offensively awful and tasted like a tube of cheap toothpaste. When complaining, the staff were amused and laughed. Ok Sushi Shop ( which you’re not and an insult to the name) laugh away. You will be out of business before you know it. Your food is nothing but cheap and nasty.

I absolutely LOVE these guys! They deliver super quickly (order placed at 12.10 and sushi arrived by 12.40!) and the sushi/sashimi are always super fresh ! If you need to pick up your order, you will see how welcoming and super nice the staff always is, and even the guy who delivers was smiling and supernice! I'd give them 6 stars if I could!

We ordered Take Away sushi from this restaurant via Deliveroo today (13.1.2020), it arrived on time. but the sushi was not very authentic. i.e. one of the salmon ones actually had cream cheese in it. It was edible, but we won't be ordering from here again for a business lunch.

The sushi is very good quality and they constantly create new variations of it. I give 4 stars only because I ordered few times after 9pm a sushi box and they run out of some of ingredients and the staff was proposing me replacements that were way cheaper than what I initially ordered. So I definitely recommend ordering from sushi shop but earlier than 9pm if you want to get you what you order.

This is my favourite sushi shop near work. The sushi and poke bowls are excellent. Very fresh and tasty. Prices are quite high, but as a once a month treat it's well worth it if you enjoy sushi. I mainly get take away, but the seating area seems nice and clean for dining in.
