Very professionally run on a busy night. Good food.

Have been quite a few times for lunch either dining in or take away. The food has always been exceptional and such lovely personal service. Highly recommended and I will be back again for more.

The Duck Spring Rolls and Massaman curry are seriously nice!

Booked us in at short notice on a busy Saturday night, asked us to leave by a certain time that was reasonable. Great service and superb food, would definitely return. Did not expect to eat here so very pleasant surprise.

Stopped by for lunch. Great environment and services but the food is disappointing. Tom yum soup is more like seasoned water. Chicken is incredibly big hence not flavorful. Really could be better.

We had a lovely pre-theather dinner here. The location is about 10 minutes walk from Hexagon and the restaurant is nice and modern. The service was very friendly and efficient and food and drinks were really good. We would definitely come back.

Great lunchtime menu with lots of options - I had the prawn toast and green chicken curry - both were delicious. Only cold drinks are listed on the menu - hot mint and green teas are available on request.

Great food and a great place to eat...

An extremely "meh" experience. Food is ordinary, at best. The Tom Yum was filled with button mushrooms instead of black mushrooms, and it tasted like it was from a jar. The main dish was not terrible but not terribly fresh and rushed. Service was nice but they were very devoted to preparing for the next day's service so they could leave timely than taking care of the customers there. And the atmosphere is, I don't know what, but not Thai.

I first ordered stir-fry flat noodle and stir-fry pork. That was an amazing experience as I cannot fault anything at all. I would 100% reccommend this restaurant to anyone. Please visit if you are in Reading.

Loved everything about this place!

Add this to your list of cozy places. Fantastic atmosphere. Their chicken is Halal. Food is tasty. Ordered various dishes and everything was very tasteful. The Chicken Spur Soup was a bit odd as it had more mushrooms than Chicken. Also every dish looked like it was frozen and not made fresh. The taste is great though. And the service quality is excellent.

Absolutely struck by the wonderful lighting and atmosphere on appearance. We ordered the Thai Red chicken curry and it's safe to say it blew out our expectations by a landslide, still one of my favourite foods to date. The waiters were as friendly as you get, and wait times for food were relatively low. Great food, great service, great environment, no reason to give it anything lower than it's well deserved 5 stars.

Fiancée and I went in to celebrate our engagement without a reservation. Upon entry, there were no tables but the front of house team member estimated a table being ready for us within 20 minutes. A table was ready for us within 15-17 mins (was literally checking the time constantly), we sat down and a waitress was with us to take our order. The menu had vegetarian options for people like myself although a little extra dishes for vegetarians would help a lot. The service was tremendous and incredibly outstanding. The food was nicely cooked and we enjoyed the cocktails, fiancée ordered ‘Sex on the beach’ and I ordered ‘Cocoláda’ which brought the final palette for night out to a close. Desert menu didn’t have more options but it’s not a dealbreaker as shops like Creams around in case you’re in the mood for something more sweet. A complimentary mint was offered after the cheque was brought to us which is a really nice touch to the dining experience Team members thanked us for coming in and we expressed our gratitude for the service and meals served. I must add that the restaurant can do with a bit of security at the front door. During our time there, some random guy walked in and yelled some harsh statements which I cannot recall but might have put some guests off. I’d be glad if a little attention can be paid at the door to prevent people like this John Doe walking into the restaurant to yell harsh words which can be offensive.

The old owners that used to run this place amazingly would be displeased. Food was great, but being asked to leave our table immediately after spending £170, and them not telling us that they'd already added a service charge after we paid a £20 tip will mean we will never return.

Thai Corner is the most authentic and delicious Thai food I have ever had in my life. Every dishes were high quality. 13 of us cleared all dishes and were satisfied with all dishes.

Fantastic food Service and hospitality first class

Our first time at Thai Corner and it was brilliant. Food was amazing, the restaurant was busy but they accommodated our walk in booking and all the staff were lovely and friendly. Would thoroughly recommend and we would go back in a flash.

Well i dont think its a proper Thai restaurant maybe Chinese influence Thai restaurant. If you want to taste proper Thai dishes plz find elsewhere bcoz i felt like i had Chinese food and apart from Thai green curry.

Wanted the pad thai without the nuts because of my allergy. Could not have been worse foid turned up with nuts Terrible service, and they couldn't care less and asked me to call Deliveroo for further help. Never mind that i could have ended up in hospital. Shockingly bad service and treatment for this place

The food is very genuine, we have lived in Thailand and one of our family is Thai. We come here often and are never disappointed. The food is cooked to order as it should be, but you normally don't need to wait long. The same lady has been running the place for a long time. Service is always friendly and efficient. I do not understand why anyone would say this is not cheap. Why should it be? The staff Lwys trybtgeir best and they need to earn a living, the owner deserves a profit for her hard work. Ingredients, utilities and business rates are not cheap. Highly recommended!

Went recently after work, for a work do. Really great service and atmosphere. Food was really tasty, beers tasty too! Next time I go, I’ll just ask for my food to be more spicy.. :-)

Food was superb. The dished labeled as spicy were spicy. 4 of us and all enjoyed the starters and mains. Not cheap but like I said, the food is very good. Drinks are also quite expensive. Came to £160 for 4 people but we all really enjoyed it.

Ate here two nights, both without having made a booking but able to be fitted in. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Wide range of lovely food to suit any taste and lovely cold beer on tap. Will certainly return when next in Reading

Myself and my colleague both thought the service, presentation and food was absolutely fantastic. Reasonably priced too. Massaman was incredible, will be returning soon!

Delicious meal at this Reading town centre Thai restaurant. Lamb shank was amazing. Very nice spicing. Certainly the highlight of the meal. Fish cake starter was fine but definitely not as tasty as my friend’s dumpling starter. Her sirloin was nice but not as much of a winner as the lamb. A bottle of Viognier complemented the food well. Total bill, including 10% service came to £93. Not cheap, but worth an occasional splurge. Service was good. We started eating around 5.30 when restaurant was quite quiet. It later filled up and got pretty noisy by the time we left around 8pm.

Went for Thai...got thai-esk food...could've been a tad spicier... Pity no durian or taro (or mango) flavoured ice-creams to finish, those flavours a bit different so would've been a nice way to top it off. Got what ordered, was nice, good atmosphere, lovely staff.

Atmosphere is so-so because they are extreme busy on a Monday evening!!! Everything is spot on, even the dish is wrong, but we accept it only because we don't want the staff to be blamed. However the dish is surprisingly good and we are so glad that we didn't return it hahaha. Nice food quality as always for the last 7 years !!!

This is a very nice place to have an authentic Thai food. I really enjoyed the dessert "Sticky rice pudding with mango".

It was very busy. So many tables on one floor, felt like they were overbooked but didn't want to turn people away. Only ground floor was open. I had to squeeze to get into my set and kept knocking someone's bag off their chair. Food was good, service excellent.

Our first night in Reading, we wandered around town and found this place. When we walked in we were stunned to find how dark and moody the whole place was. It took forever for the 3 waitresses to eventually get around to offering us a table. We got to seat by a post. We ordered a ton of stuff. Mostly forgettable except for the pad Thai. Maybe I was hungry. Maybe it was cooked really well. But only that dish tasted good. The tom yum soup was bland and tasted of tamarind powder. The duck egg rolls were hard and fried in stale oil. The ice cream was pretty decent, but had little ice bits in it. Clearly the owners were Thai and this place was a family business, so I was surprised at how inauthentic some of the dishes were. Would I go back? Probably not. Did I go back? Yes, once more for their other desserts like the pandan crepe and sticky mango rice. Both sucked. I have learned my lesson. Go in for specific dishes like the pad thai. In fact just order take out. But skip the soups and fancier desserts.

The ambience is great and service felt good as well. However the food didn’t strike to me as authentic Thai. Tom Yum Soup and green curry felt rather bland missing some striking taste. But again, for a good vibe and quick snack it is still a great place to go, food is also not that expensive compared to other dine in options in town.

Absolutely wonderful place to dine, myself and my partner had an excellent time here. To start we had the Chicken Satay and Kanom Jeeb, both of which were delicious. Next was the Ped Med Mamung which was mouth watering, though so filling I couldn’t finish it, and the Kao Pad which was also a great dish. As others have stated, one dish of rice is plenty between two people, and some of the main dishes I would say are also enough to share between you. It is extremely filling and also very delicious, with a wonderful atmosphere and excellent, attentive staff.

Been meaning to try this given the plethora of Thai establishments here. Happened to have a meeting and met here for lunch. It wasn't the busiest of places. But we opted for the 2 course lunch. A reasonable £12.95. Sweetcorn fritters and chicken satay. Freshly made and very generous portion. Mains been chicken pad Thai and a chicken sweet sour. Was impressed with quality of the pad Thai. Noodles were cooked really well and plenty of flavour. Would recommend the lunch menu.

Very delicious. After eating it, I no longer wanted food at home. This fried pork is delicious eaten with steamed rice and chili in fish sauce. As for the crispy pork with basil, it tastes good. I really like it.

Really liked this place. I'm no expert on thai food but this place had great food lots of options on the menu. The service was great everything with a smile, was very popular as it was literally jam packed and was lucky to get a table. The atmosphere was also very relaxed was a loud environment when I went so if your looking for a quiet night out this isn't for you. Cost around £35 pp Service charge was pre added onto the bill at 10%.

Almost perfect, only thing I was upset about was the classic pad krapow, pork mince was cooked but it was swimming in juices so not your standard classic. The most upsetting thing was the missing fried egg.... To top it all off, it was a lunch time item but they are willing to serve it at higher price, cost me 1.5x more with missing item, I did find it hard to give more than 3 stars

Looks like a converted pub from the outside, but totally amazing in the inside. Staff were very good and the choice of food is fantastic. We had Thai sausage and pork belly for starters, and mains were leg lamb and I had sea bass in a fantastic broth of lemongrass and chilli. My goodness it was amazing. Will defo go back next time we are down. Cost was £80 including 2 beers and some Thai crackers
