Tgm's Camber in Rother

6 of us stopped for a fish and chip lunch, costing £111, we should have kept walking. £15.95 for a box of poorly cooked fish and chips, £2 for a tiny pot of mushy peas and 50p for a sachet of ketchup. The food was greasy, the fish had not been prepared properly, nobody finished their meal. The food took 15 minutes to arrive, so we had the opportunity to sit around and soak up the ambience, in a rubbish strewn picnic area whilst Katy Perry blasted out at full volume. On a more positive note, the customer service was at least in keeping with the food and surroundings. The staff were rude, when we picked up 2 of our boxes from the counter, we were told to “wait until we I’ve finished putting them all out”. I would eat literally anywhere before I went here again.

Our fish and chips were honestly disgusting. We ended up wasting most of it. The coffee was also a big disappointment. I would have taken it all back for a refund if we weren't sitting so far along the beach. The only positive was that the staff were lovely.

Hideously over priced, cod and chips, 1.4 pounder with cheese and cheesy chips , a bottle of coke 500ml, a bottle of Fanta 500ml and a bottle of Oasis 500ml came to £36.90 plus £8 to park for 3 hours , won’t be going there again ! That’s £3 a bottle of drink when you can but it in a supermarket for £1.40

We came to camber for a lovely day out with the kids, we found this lovely cafe with really friendly staff, my kids had the kids menu witch they had a good choice. My partner had a monster burger which is said it was the best his had. I had a 3 piece chicken meal was amazing. We will defo be back again. Everyone is to quick to write a bad review and not good one.

Went out to the beach this weekend, found this lovely cafe, the food was to absolute die for! I had a chicken burger and it was soo amazing! My partner had cod and chips and he enjoyed it thoroughly, he didn’t leave a crumb! The staff was very friendly and energetic! Couldn’t ask for anything better! Defo will return!

Weent for a walk on beach and see that tgm was open so we decided as a family the food menu look really. So we order really friendly staff and so helpful too. The food was lovely fish really good. Chicken bugers amazing. And if you love bugers try there monster burger. Will definitely return if in the area again

Lovely place right on the beachfront, huge amount of car parking. Lovely friendly staff and amazing atmosphere. Beautiful little cafe/takeaway with reasonably price yummy food. Would defo come back again!

The the manager/Owner of this place was terrible. We bought a float and realized when we took it to the seafront it was deflating. Took it back hoping for an exchange or a refund but was told it was our fault that we punctured it. I explained that we only had it for a couple of hours and the kids were very disappointed that soon as we started using it deflated. The manager refused to even deal with my complaint and sent a young boy to deal with my query. A coward of a man with no professionalism. Overpriced due to the location, cheap and poor quality products. The manager didn’t care at all. My kids were very disappointed.

This was the worst meal i have ever had to try and eat! we ordered Burger and Chips and was shocked by what we were given, The burger was dry and in a dry bun no butter or dressing, just a bun and burger slapped in the middle and no amount of vinegar made them easy to eat! Very expensive too. Had to throw it away, and the service was awful too. Avoid this place. Honestly shocked anyone would think this was edible. Wish i had taken a photo to share!

Would not recommend the burger and chips , the burger had no flavour , was so thin I have had better burgers off a market stall , the fact u have to pay extra for the ketchup is a joke when ur paying £7.50 . Chips were over cooked and so dry .

My wife bought a Magnum last Sunday afternoon which was listed at £1.95. When she paid they told her it was £3.00 because the boss had put prices up. Could have taken this further but better to warn other people.

Very OTT with the price, it’s quite awkward to eat fish with a little chip picker, mayonnaise is easy to open, the ketchup sachets however is another matter, impossible to open, the amount they charge for a portion it should come with buckets of ketchup, ketchup on tap basically, instead they don’t even give u unless u ask, and then should I ask for anymore ketchup they look at u with disgust and act like they’re doing u a huge favour, u’re welcome, barely use trip advisor, will start using more from now, because… had I of used them, it would have saved me a very horrible lunch, tip… if going here, bring your own lunch!

We’ve never ordered from TGM’s before but had Family round for the first time in over a year so we had a treat so we ordered from TGM’s. They delivery was so quick and the food was like Michelin star it was out of this world. Simply the best around

Really looking for to pizza after some of the reviews but was a bit disappointed, the pizza itself hadn't been cut into slices and that made it really tricky to cut because it was overcooked and very hard underneath so just turned to a bit of a mess and not enjoyable to eat. Not saying I won't try again think it was dinner time so very busy so I'm thinking it was just a little blip and look forward to trying another time in the future.

We stopped of for drinks but decided to eat,what can I say food was lovely excellent value for money very clean and friendly service,Staff were lovely chatting to the kids helping to decide what drinks to have.Nice service thank you will definitely see you again soon and will recommend to friends visiting Camber ..Thank you

Had a lovely walk along the beach, come in for a hot drink. Service was amazing, staff were extremely polite! Definitely come back again!!

Lovely beach cafe serving excellent Fish & Chips, the sausages are also lovely and tasty. Well worth a visit and not a bad price either.

It’s a proper beach cafe, fish and chips, burgers etc. The four of us enjoyed our lunch, reasonable prices and the staff and other customers were really friendly. Even on a wet and windy October day the location is amazing and we were warm and...

How can you charge nearly a tenner for the most mankiest burger and chips! Its camber not camberwell!!! Cheap revolting produce, must be bad even the seagulls didn't eat it! Avoid it its proper mank!!

The owners of TGM helped us when we thought we had had our bags stolen on the beach. They were so kind, and helped us find our bags, which it turned out were still there. We had become disorientated when we went for a swim....
