TGI Fridays Glasgow Silverburn in Glasgow City

Normally a fan of TGI’s and was looking forward to our first time back in 18months. Unfortunately, it was a bit disappointing and a bit of a let down for us. Food wasn’t great and a lack of attention to detail both in food standards and preparation. It wasn’t helped that it was busy and there was not the same level of attention and attendance by the TGI team. Biggest thing was the value though. A drop in portions and increases in pricing. For 2 people and a child’s meal with no alcohol and only 1 drink, it was nearly £100. That’s just way way too expensive for the food quality offered. Sad to say, rather than it being a place I would regularly go into in the past, it’s made me really stop and think about other places to go. Again, I take no pleasure writing this. I was just really really sad and disappointed today with my experience. Most hurtful of all however, was how sad my 8 year old daughter was though. Poor lass pretty much had a really crap food experience start to finish.

Went to tgi Silverburn for the first time since lockdown, was amazing to eat in a restaurant after so long and the experience was made all the better by the lovely waiter Megan. So friendy and attentive. Nothing was a bother. Food delightful will definitely be back .

Went here for a family dinner was a bit apprehensive about eating out but as soon as we arrived we felt so much better.Staff very friendly and helpful social distancing measures all In place and the restaurant very clean. Food was amazing as always can’t wait for our next trip.

Went out to help to eat scheam food was bland and didn’t get the discount off to me was just the staff trying ther best to pocket the discount for them selfs, very poor heat up grub, not be back

Tenía las ofertas de pollo que estaban bien y la tarta de chocolate dulce que estaba realmente delicioso.Las medidas de distanciamiento social dejaron muy claras a su llegada.

First time visit after reopening. Staff were good, Ratchel our server was great, chatty and friendly. Social distance in place and well signed. Had to book on line which was easy.

Tuvimos nuestra comida en la calle desde el cierre. . Gran servicio. . Buena comida como siempre. El pollo al sésamo es siempre imprescindible. . Me sorprendió que el personal no usara máscaras, ya que está clasificado como contacto cercano, pero intentaron mantener la distancia y aún así brindaron un gran servicio. Xx

On arrival we were given a wait time of 2 minutes so staff could santise the table,which was reassuring. The food was fantastic, service was brilliant, social distancing was definitely adhered too. We will be back.

We ate here recently and thought it was very overpriced for what we had. 2 soft drinks, 2 mains and a side was over £50. They were rather stingy with their chips too, and we were both still quite hungry by the time we had finished because the portions were not too substantial. I had the Jack Daniels chicken (very nice but not sizeable) and my boyfriend had a burger, which they had missed half the ingredients off of. It was meant to be a double burger but he only got one patty. I also asked for Tabasco and didn’t receive that either. So in short, the food was nice but there wasn’t enough of it, it was overpriced and they forgot things we had asked for as well as forgetting the ‘double’ part of the double burger.

Went there for dinner with a few friends and my waitress Angela was great! Would definitely recommend

El bistec cocinado a la perfección y las habilidades de servicio al cliente de nuestro servidor Aurelija fueron completamente excepcionales, muy atentos y una gran ética de trabajo y actitud. !

Fantástica bienvenida por el anfitrión de la puerta Gary. Muy profesional pero amable y hablador, ¡nada fue un problema para él! Muy rápido haciendo los globos para los niños y nos llevaron a nuestros asientos en 5 minutos, ¡aunque estaba muy ocupado! La comida era deliciosa y todo el personal amable y educado.

Came in for lunch and Ross the bartender was the best server ever. OK chat and he even showed me his new shoes.

Food was great and service was fast! Abby was very helpful when helping us find a seat suitable and helped us through the menu!

La comida era excelente y el ambiente era la guinda del pastel. Fue un placer hablar con la jovencita Maia que nos sentó en nuestra mesa y realmente ayudó con cualquier pregunta que tuviéramos. Finalmente, recomendaría probar la salsa glaseada Jack Daniels.

Buena comida y excelente servicio especialmente de nuestro servidor Andrew. Fue hablador y muy servicial a la hora de elegir nuestros cócteles, había demasiados para elegir. Restaurante encantador y limpio, que atiende a las necesidades de todos sus clientes. Definitivamente volveremos pronto

Entró para una cena familiar, ¡fue rápido en obtener un bono de stand! La comida era deliciosa como siempre, ¡no esperes demasiado! ¿Especialmente con nuestras niñas pequeñas que aman los pequeños paquetes divertidos y globos que obtienen para entretenerlos? maia fue nuestra mesera encantadora, muy educada y encantadora con nuestras hijas, ¡tuvieron una gran comida gracias a ella! ¡Hace que mamá y papá tengan paz para comer! Maia ha sido nuestro servidor varias veces y las chicas siempre la preguntan por una chica tan encantadora x

I booked the taxi outside for my daughters 10th birthday after the cinema. We were greeted by our lovely server Rebecca Bannerman who was amazing long with our other server Angela. Rebecca explained the menu, discussed out dietary needs and then organised our cake we had brought with for later. The food was serviced quickly which the kids enjoyed and then the staff sang to the kids and brought out the birthday cake. Rebecca and Angela checked on us during our visit to refill drinks and serve anything else we required. This was our 1st visit to TGI Fridays and we will definitely be back. See you soon.

Wonderful service, we stopped here for a bite to eat before we flew out to Australia later that day, my gf Lynn had a spicy chicken noodle and I had an American beef burger, it apart from the great food, we were served by Rebecca, who was so helpful always carried a smile, and was very friendly informative and an absolute gem, TGI Friday for you to continue to be a success your food is great, but your staff are what makes your business a success, Rebecca was outstanding, and a huge asset to your business thanks for everything. Changed jobs after 12 years and had my night out in TGI Fridays Silverburn as the food is always great but most of all the staff are amazing. Shout out to Maia who showed everyone to our table and Keira who was our brilliant waitress. Sure attentive with nothing too much trouble.

We booked as its usually very busy on a Saturday and unfortunately arrived 30 mins early. We didn't get taken though until our booking time and just had to wait with everyone else who just arrived. Thought we should have got taken earlier.

Chris was fabulous. Attentive, funny, charming and delivered fantastic service. A credit to the store, easy to see how he's stayed with the store since it's opening 5 years ago. Good luck with the teaching !

I took my father for lunch there as he has never been to a TGI, and he loved it! He had a big piece of meat, I had a triple stack burger, it was delicious.

Having never ventured into this branch it was long over due as I haven’t been in this restaurant for years.My husband for the very first time said I was told to try the rack of ribs that are double glazed in jack Daniels sauce like who knew!!!!!The meat fell off the bone and they tasted amazing, of course TGI’s is known for its cocktails so it would have been rude not to they were not a disappointment either and the bottomless drinks were endlessly brought over so felt like a lady and a lord as the service was excellent and it was busy and food was very prompt of course we will be back as my husband has now discovered the amazing glaze that I’ve been telling him about for years .

Went for a meal with my partner it was really good and to top it off we had a lovely lady serve us called Angela she was so attentive and very funny :)

Food was great and we were served very quickly with both food and drinks. Also Angela was so lovely and efficient and she was extremely helpful.

My wife my son and daughter went up to Silverburn shopping centre on Sunday the 10th of November and decided to have a nice family Sunday Dinner in TGI Fridays as we have been to several in the past and had good experiences.

Came here with Friends, food great and service great too. Beth was our server she was very lovely. Would love to go back soon!

Arrived here with 2 friends and tbh the service was shocking and this is not usually the case.

También terminamos quedándonos para tomar unas copas y nuestro servidor Andrew fue excepcional. El nunca se quejó. Siempre se sirve con una sonrisa y se aseguró de que nuestras bebidas estuvieran bien y pregunté si todo estaba bien. Gran servicio como siempre.

Meal was cold, starter an main! 1st time visting tgi’s first An last hyped up for nothing. Very disappointed!!

Only one fizzy drink option - Diet cola. Paid £3.20 for something I did not want. What a rip off! The service was very slow considering the lack of people dining in. My wife ordered the salmon and it was over cooked, very dry and hard to eat. She ended up not eating any of it. TGI has certainly lost the appeal.

Maia and Scott provided attentive service and were so pleasant, contributing to our lovely afternoon😁

One of my favourite places to eat. Food always great but the best part is the lovely warm welcome from Maia - always smiling, cant do enough for us and so good with the kids.

Popped in for dinner with my partner this afternoon at around half 2. Despite the restaurant being quite busy we were greeted with a warm welcome and seated straight away. The food, was of an excellent standard, served piping hot and without delay. The highlight of our visit had to be the wonderful customer service we received from Gemma. Gemma was polite and attentive without being overbearing or imposing. She kept us well looked after in the food and drink department and was an absolute pleasure to chat with! I really hope that the management are aware of what an asset to the business staff such as Gemma are, you can have the best food and drink in the business but ultimately it’s the staff that keep customers coming back and after today we most certainly will be returning!

So happy with the service received by our waitress Kerry M at Silverburn. We came here for a birthday meal for my sister and you definitely went out your way to make this a special day for her. We could see how busy the restaurant was and you managed to have a smile for us all night. Thanks again and keep up the good work!

We visited tonight for my daughter's 4th birthday meal. The service was fantastic from beginning to end. We were served by Michael who did everything he could to make our meal so special, bringing our daughter a bouquet of balloon flowers and arranging cake and a happy birthday song at the end of our meal. We were asked several times if everything was ok and bottomless drinks were topped up regularly. Delighted with our meal.

Great food as always and excellent service from Michael. Very attentive and made my daughter's birthday extra special!

Maia service is second to none she gives you a service with a million dollar smile give this girl a wage rise

We were served by a lovely young gentleman called Andrew at the bar. He was charismatic and served us drinks at a great speed and was bang on with each cocktail we ordered.

Had a nice lunch, Lucy was attentive and looked after us, meal was good, tgi’s price always a bit more than others but was nice

I took my wife in to this restaurant for dinner. We arrived just before 6pm and placed our order soon after. We received our starts fine but then had to wait over an hour for our main meals. It was not that busy. Our server advised this had been caused by some kind of technical error and that a manager would sort out something for us later. After attempting to catch a server's eye fir about 20 minutes after our meal, I approached the bar for the bill. Again, I was told that a manager was going to be spoken to about our wait and shortly after, the bill was produced, with no offer of any kind for another drink or money taken off for their error. My wife and I had planned to attend the cinema and had tickets booked but, due to the slow service, missed the start of the film so decided to return home. I would think twice about returning to this restaurant due to the poor service we received.

Great food for all the family, despite being a Friday night the service was quick and the food amazing. Topped off by our server Kerry M who was simply brilliant, next level service always on hand if we needed anything, took time to speak with the kids, just a lovely girl who made our experience more enjoyable, 10/10 will be back! :)

Used to love tgi's, used to be in the 1 in the town on a monthly basis but after having lunch with a friend in the silverburn 1 the 2 of us where sick, the quality of food has went down hill, will never eat in any tgi's again

Service was absolutely amazing, got served by Andrew. It was quite busy during our visit but we still got great service. Food was really nice and staff was friendly.

We booked after receiving a voucher. We were seated immediately up near the kitchen part, the seats were comfortable, massive choice of food and drinks and the soft drinks are refillable for free.

I visited the Silverburn restaurant on 3/5/2019 with my daughter for her birthday. She is a vegetarian and found there to be great choice for her. The service from our waitress Pamela K was out of this world. She was warm, friendly and very attentive. As It was my daughters birthday, and she is a vegetarian off her own back without prompting Pamela checked with the chef if the birthday cake was vegetarian, which it wasn’t, so she got another piece of cake that was vegetarian and put a candle in it so she didn’t go without. It was a lovely, thoughtful touch checking if the cake was vegetarian and we both really appreciated it. Pamela is an asset to your business, truly lovely girl.

I have visited this place on friday evening for a dinner. My server surprisingly was speaking my native tongue. Her name was Aurelija. Lovely waitress and does her job well. Recomendations for the food was accurate to our taste. Food was good and cocktails as always brilliant. Definatelly coming back and keep up good work.

My son picked this today for his birthday lunch. Starters were good, mains ranged from good to bad. The worst was the duck fajitas it doesn't come sliced but in the bone but good luck in trying to shred that bad boy as it's tough as old boots. Burgers were ok and the ribs were nice.

Did not expect that these days workers this young would spend more time focusing on my kids than me. Eva blew us away. Engaging a hungry child is not easy but genuinely impressed.

We visited this Fridays for the first time yesterday and will definitely be returning. I came with my husband and 3 year old daughter and we all equally loved it! The service was great from everybody we came into contact with whilst here, our server Roni M was excellent, making sure we always had full drinks and was great when it came to recommending food as we had never been before. She also made sure my little girl felt very well looked after with a dog balloon and colouring in book :-) The music is loud although creates a good atmosphere for the style of restaurant! Overall great experience and will be back soon! :-)

We originally had to wait over 45mins for a table, when we said to Steven we had waited a while he was very accommodating and got us a table straight away. He had great customer service and nothing was too much bother. Made our visit much more enjoyable! We then had Michael looking after us at the table why again made a real effort to make sure we were happy with our service.

A great restaurant in the Silverburn shopping centre. First time I have visited this one as I usually go to the one in Glasgow centre. Our server Chris B was great and really made us feel welcome, recommending what dishes to have and I'm glad to say the food did not disappoint! gravy seal burger wow!

Me and a few of my work colleagues went to celebrate our new zine display being accepted by the local library and Sean our waiter kept the party spirits high with his enthusiastic and helpful service, thoroughly enjoyed his company!

We visit TGI's on a pretty regular basis, but this was our first time at the Silverburn location. Service was very cheerful and our food was served super quick. We even got a free Easter Egg for our little one, which was a nice touch.

Visited as a gluten free option. Heard from a friend there was a good range. Manager was very helpful talking me through processes in the kitchen and the food was great. Even the gluten free bun was pretty tasty. Will definitely be back.

Seriously toke so long to even take our drinks order. The drinks toke so long to come. Then a table of seven who placed there order after us got their food before us. The menus were dirty the general restaurant was dirty.

We were served by Angela, and it was my fiancé’s birthday. She did the birthday song for him, he was a little bit embarrassed but it made my night so thank you Angela. And he got a free slice of cake! As usual, the service was good as well as the food.

We visited this TGIs for lunch, on entering it was quiet as it was a few minutes before noon. We were shown to a booth by Eva who was very welcoming and proved to be an excellent server. As i said it was quiet at this time but unlike the Braehead branch the music volume was such that there was no need to shout to be heard or chat with your partner. A volume to lend atmosphere and for the customer not the staff .

Came in last month with my niece and my mum and boyfriend , was greeted by a very friendly staff member at the door who took us to our table, we were then left for a bit until our server Amy came over who couldn’t have been more friendlier and chatty especially to my niece! She was loving all the attention, Amy was brilliant the whole time we were there always interacting with my niece too , will definitely be back again & will definitely recommend as family friendly too!

Dinner and drinks with my gal pals - Amy was brilliant, super friendly and accommodating to our requests, I am gluten free but she quickly assured me there were many dishes I could enjoy. Food was brill.

Myself and my family visited Scotland recently. My daughter, a lover of American food wanted to try TGI Fridays to see if it was as good as our local American style diner. Well what can I say? The food was really nice and our waitress, Amy was spot on. She was courteous and accommodating. Nothing was too much bother for her. She checked ingredients for us due to my daughter having a severe but allergy and put her anxiety to ease. She made great recommendations and suggested cocktails to die for. If only every dining experience had an Amy. Life would be so much better!

My wife and I popped in to TGI's in SIlverburn yesterday, to spend a Silverburn voucher we received as a present.

Couple of cheeseburgers for me and Mrs Lunchmonster. Served pretty quick as we were short of time.A couple of soft drinks and coffee set us up for our busy afternoon.Thanks to Lucy for her smiley chatty service....much appreciated☺

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, we were served by Andrew and we were sat by the bar. I had sesame chicken and loaded fries and I thought they tasted amazing. I would defo recommend this TGI Fridays and I am 100% going back ahain!

This is the best TGI i have been too so far, staff are friendly anf very quick to serve food and great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Steak was stone cold when served, and so was the gravy and chips. It looks as if it had been sitting out for a while awaiting the rest of the families food. I took one bite out of the steak and left it. Why give excellent 5 stars? We're here often and this was the first time that I had to complain. I did not have a replacement as the rest of the family were half way through theirs, and by the time a fresh one would have been made they would all have been finished. 5 stars as they we were well looked after by the young lady who was looking after us. 5 stars as the manager came over and apologised and took it off my bill, even though I told him not to. Usually go to Frankie and Benny’s but my daughter wanted to go to tgi fridays as she had been there the week before for a friends birthday party.

Optamos por las tiras de pollo con sésamo y papas fritas. Más como trozos pequeños que tiras, y el pollo estaba seco, no estoy seguro de si me enamoré de la cena nocturna o no. Seguí el plato principal con un brioche de nuez y caramelo servido con helado, no con mi noche de suerte, mientras que el principal estaba hasta cierto punto cocinado, el postre estaba poco hecho, los sabores eran agradables pero el brioche era demasiado pesado. Siendo el conductor designado para la noche, opté por probar una cola de burla, fresco como un pepino resultó ser más enfermo como un cerdo, un consejo: despedir el arándano, si no hubiera sido por los acentos de pepino que luchan es a través de esto Habría sabido como medicina, demasiado enferma. Amigo optó por el menú sin gluten, opción limitada, podría ser bueno explorar más opciones para el futuro. Puede que vuelva pero me quedo con una hamburguesa la próxima vez, ¡y un refresco de dieta si estoy manejando!

Regular customers of this restaurant. Always seem to get the same waitress st lunchtime. Very helpful and great with the kids. Food always really tasty. If a little over priced.

Sólo he estado y tenía una comida encantadora. Tengo que decir que la camarera Leanne fue genial! Nada fue una molestia y ella fue tan rápida y no olvidó nada y éramos 14. Todo el personal es muy amable, solo desearía que no fuera tan caro y podría darles una mejor propina.

Almorcé aquí con mi hijo, mi nuera y dos nietos. No estaba demasiado ocupado y estábamos sentados inmediatamente en una cabina (para acomodar el cochecito) que era bueno. El servicio fue rápido y muy amable en todo. El menú tiene un buen número de opciones y nos pareció que la comida era buena. La factura fue de 63 (más la propina) para 3 adultos y un niño, cada uno con un plato y 5 refrescos en total, lo que representó un valor decente.

We went to Fridays for lunch before a cinema trip and I enjoyed my meal thoroughly. Would 100% go back!
