Marble Global Buffet in Glasgow City

Alway well filled trays of delicious sushi,main reason we go,also the food quality in general is great,the staff are friendly,its always busy,price is very reasonable for city centre

I went on 7th December and they charged extra because it was Christmas Time, which is fair. My expectations were high but the food was really blend. Being an Indian i can confirm they have the worst samosa. Highly not recommended for vegetarians. Food is not top notch quality, very average. Even the desserts had very less variety. I am never going back here ever.

This place it's okay it is very busy so make sure you book or you could be waiting for 40 mins, we got a table next to a huge table of people which was fine but so loud. The food is okay good choices and so much and good dessert too. All in all I have done it and maybe go back in passing but would not go out my way to come back here

Food was ok but bland you really need to grab a salt cellar you will need it, there was a lot deep fried dishes and very little fresh. It was nothing special . It was 3.50 and I asked for melon of which I had seen but when I went to get some it had gone needless to say it was not replenished 😡 And as for the ladies toilets well what can I say, have a look

I was here after watching an Instagram reel about this restaurant, saying it was the best. Well, it wasn't. The food wasn't good, neither was the service. Except for 2-3 dishes everything else tasted sub-par or even bland to some extent. I must say the sushi was really good! I'm sorry to say this, but the waiters kept taking our plates away even before we could finish, and this happened at least three times. 🥲

Love coming to marble for food but today was disappointing very little choice and after 40 mins come to tell us they are closing in 20 mins noone told us when we arrived and no money offered to be taken off bill for the inconvenience had to rush through food and the drinks we had gotten Back again today 24/11/24 sushi selection was better but food a little overcooked sadly

Lovely hot food, very nice service good choice of food staff very polite and courteous would highly recommend came across this place after visit to Kings theatre and getting the train to Queens station

Omg food excellent and choice of foods will blow your mind amazing , never seen so much choice and tasty foods . My favourite was the chicken in black bean sauce , best I have ever tasted defo would go back in a heart beat amazing .

I had lunch with my partner here today. Overall I’d say it was a good experience, the dining area is nicely presented and all looks fresh and up to date as well as clean. The variety of food is great, there’s something to suit every palate which is of course perfect if you’re not too sure what you’d like to eat. We were seated immediately and asked what we’d like to drink. We opted for the bottomless soft drinks which are £3.99 and you can refill as many times as you like. This is genuinely very reasonable as nearby restaurants would charge more just for the one soft drink. It came to £49 for the two of us in total. To be honest we probably got our moneys worth. The food is similar in quality to what you’d get from a takeaway, maybe not up to scratch with a decent restaurant but definitely tasty. Some items were a tad cold as they’d been sitting out and I can’t say their range of Italian food is great unfortunately. They have a large selection of desert items, fruits and salad too. The buffet is licensed and there is a decent selection of alcohol. I didn’t have any alcohol but I looked at the drinks menu and prices seem reasonable, more so than a lot of pubs these days. The atmosphere feels a little bit cramped and rushed. The staff seem to be working under a bit of stress which makes me wonder if the management are providing enough support for their staff. When we asked for our bill we waited 10 minutes and it no one brought it, however when we asked another member of staff it was brought immediately. The restaurant is not wheelchair friendly unfortunately and due to the amount of steps I’d still be wary for people with mobility issues. It is also very noisy and bright and of course due to the amount of food and choices that are there to make I could foresee becoming overwhelming for certain people. The toilet facilities are clean and satisfactory. The location is good, it’s a short walk from Queen Street station, Glasgow Central and Buchanan Bus Station. Overall a good experience and I would come back but there are definitely some areas for improvement.

Excellent establishment, there were 6 of us and everyone really liked it, everything was delicious, the cuisine was varied, but I came there for the seafood 😁

Chinese side is nice but the Indian side ain't that good.

The service staff are friendly and courteous, and there are many kinds of food to choose from. The hot and sour soup is especially recommended. The temperature in the restaurant is slightly hot. If it is your birthday, they will sing happy birthday to you and give you a small dessert.

The place looks really cozy and luxurious, it has a great water fountain when you walk in, we were both impressed! The food was varied and the selection was huge, everything we managed to try with our ever dwindling stomach space was delicious and quite authentic. I was especially surprised by the quality of the sushi. Don't get me wrong, it's not "premium restaurant" quality, but it's definitely the best buffet sushi I ever tried in the UK and it ain't even close. Staff was cordial and very available, we even got someone approaching with the bill and a card machine without us even asking for it, which I thought was very impressive and proactive. I am not from Glasgow but would definitely visit again if I'm around.

It’s a nice place but some the food was dry and then the dessert was good and there was a lot that was nice;)) the staff were nice.

disappointing customer service. Wee waiter guy with slicked back blonde hair couldn't understand my drink order in English and threw the menu on the table in frustration for me to point out what I wanted. his behavior is unacceptable. I've been there a few times before and have had a drunk waiter spill our drinks. Food used to be better, chicken and prawns was dry and rubbery. waiters should be trained in how to work with people.

On entrance, there's stairs to go into the dining area found differcult as unsteady on my feet..as it was a Saturday it was very busy found it compact in the seating area.theres few options from Indian,Chinese,continental,dim sum,sushi.found the food was lovely but cold many customers leave the container opened..I had chicken sweetcorn soup. And tried crispy duck and dim sum for the first time..pizza The only item that was hot.. the service was top-notch every time we finished a plate it was taken away.plenty of options in the desert area. I'm a cheesecake fan that was delicious...would I return? I will try again on a weekday, hopefully, less noise.

Very good place, lots of options. Not like an old fashioned buffet this is nice. I saw lots of people wasting food from being greedy so I imagine marble will tackle that at some point. We enjoyed it and went on a Monday night, I’m not sure I’d like it on a Saturday when it’s packed out , was busy on a Monday night so must have a good reputation in the city.

Solía encantar este lugar, y iba cada vez que mi madre venía a visitar Glasgow. Lamentablemente hemos notado que la calidad de la comida está bajando colina abajo. La comida es fría y muy seca. Para probarlo realmente tendrías que llegar justo después de abrir o después de cambiar entre el almuerzo y la cena. No es tan caro, aunque el precio subió significativamente desde la primera vez que hemos probado el mármol. Nunca tuve un problema con el material.

Not happy with this place at all food was undercooked chicken was pink apparently that’s the way it’s meant to be. Absolutely atrocious charging us for 2 people when we only Got a serving for one I wouldn’t recommend this place at all!!!!!!!!

This is the best Chinese buffet restaurant that I’ve ever eaten in UK 🇬🇧 The restaurant is very very clean. There’re many waiters and waitresses who collect your plates when you finish eating. They offer various options for you. Indian, dumplings 🥟 crispy duck with pancakes, sushi 🍣 Chinese food, Italian food and desserts 🍨

This was an Indian type buffet. It did have other options, though so it had something for everyone. The chicken curry was great!

Surprisingly good! Lots of variety and so a lot of good quality stuff you’d never find at a buffet (edamame and goma wakame being particular highlights) and the nicest buffet sushi and dim sum I’ve had (other places do these things but not as well). Definitely worth the price, we’ll be back for sure

Excellent buffet with more Chinese food selection, fresh, hot and good quality. Chinese buns were a nice touch and I loved the prawn dishes. I didn't get round to trying the other cuisines as I enjoyed the Chinese food so much and there was plenty of choice. It's my favourite international buffet restaurant in Glasgow. Place was bright and clean, and plenty of staff on hand if you need anything. Only advice is if you don't want to feel cold, ask for a table away from the Aircon. It was fine for me but my elderly mum found it cold sitting next to the Aircon, although the staff kindly tried to redirect it away from us.

My experience wasn't great. Food wasn't hot, it looked and felt like it had been sat out for quite some time. There were staff going round serving drinks, clearing and wiping down tables though. I didn't try any desserts, I just wanted to leave as quickly as possible.

Food is always lovely. Staff are very nice. Very organised business with staff directing you to table ect and clearing up promptly. Toilet are very clean.

Mi familia y yo estuvimos aquí el viernes 30 / 8 / 2024 y antes de sentarnos pagué por la comida £ 102 más £ 5 propina que comimos y tuvimos bebidas, luego terminamos de salir y dejamos de disculparme señor, tengo que pagar estaba mortificado y avergonzado también, digamos lo menos, pedí hablar con un gerente que no podía hablar apenas nada de inglés, así que no volveré y daría consejos gratuitos al personal, tenga cuidado como un cliente leal que le preguntas si el pago no volveré y no recomendaría sus servicios, perdiste una noche en familia!

What an unpleasant little man. The blonde haired gentleman waiter was so rude it was actually funny.

The food selection was great but most foods were quite cold. As someone who runs a kitchen the temperatures of the hot hold food, especially the rice, were quite worrying and have the potential to make someone really sick. Also I have an allergy and there were no signs anywhere showing what allergens were in the food, quite a nerve wracking experience.

Came with teenage son after reading good reviews. We had never been before, seated quickly. A staff member came to table and simply said "drinks" came back with 2 glasses, put them on the table and walked away. Founds some plates and started eating, between courses plates where getting cleared before we had properly finished. Quality of food pretty poor, various chicken dishes hard and rubbery. Only food that was ok was the pizza. Never been asked to present my receipt to leave a restaurant. Lots of amazing restaurants in glasgow

Food was good and for the most part the staff were great, however the main guy with the man bun who seated us seemed to have a bit of an attitude. Rolled his eyes and audibly sighed at the fact we were paying separately, then proceed to laugh with a colleague as we were walking away. A shame as this put a a dampener on our experience, hopefully he isn’t a manager as his customer service skills were slim to none.

Affordable & reasonable price buffet, with a varieties of food you can choose from. Love the creamy salmon & king prawn the most. The only thing for improvement is most of the meats are a bit dry & over cooked, e.g. char siu (roasted pork), chicken slices in lemon sauce.... service is good in general, the waiteress are keen to collect your finished dishes, and they are highly alerted to those who use a glass (tape water) for soft drinks. I saw a few customers were being stopped immediately, asked to use the correct glass (i.e to pay for the soft drink)....

Very noisy place. We were seating next to table of 6 with 3 small kids ,even tho the place was almost empty. Rude manager,no even hello from him on arrival,rude server too. Felt so unwelcome. We arrived 5.20pm .. food was cold and chewy,we will not back .

Got recommend to come try marble buffet and seen good things about it online. The place is really well presented, we went just after 5pm and got seated quickly. The food was cold even though dinner service starts at 5pm? All of the meats seemed really chewy and dry and a serious lack of flavour across the board. Most of the lids for the foods were left open. Seen they had put out fresh pakora so went to get some of that, it wasn't cooked properly. Now been stuck in bed all day with food poisoning, wouldn't come back. So disappointed as we were really looking forward to it.

We arrived around 6pm on a Saturday, the restaurant was heaving and we had a 20 minute wait to be seated. Staff were friendly for the most part. Very very noisy restaurant!! In terms of food, there seemed plenty for meat eaters and it seemed fresh... However, for vegetarians it was very limited, with all veggie dishes sat within meat dishes.. sadly my chosen bits (noodles & some tofu pieces) were quite cold ... The vegetarian sushi was tasty though. Desserts in disarray with a child ( mother next to her!) poking her finger into all the little jelly deserts! We won't be back due to the above.

Food used to be good, I visited the place 5 days ago, the quality dropped a lot, i used to enjoy it, I've been a customer for a year now been there 10 times, I don't think I am visiting again. Iam happy that they kept the price low but they sacrificed the quality.

Food was mid not bad not the best in my opinion except chow main nudles that was abysmal. Customer service was the worst I ever seen . The starring at us was unbelievable, I understand they have to check when we done with the plates but they kept starring the whole time at us . 2 adults and 2 kids and a 1 year old baby which by the way we were charged for lol . I went to many buffets and never seen baby charge for eating maybe 5 chips . Anyway poor service not recommended at all. Also what bothers me was they asked for tips?? Like are we in USA . I was FORCED really forced to pay nearly £5 tips . My 1 year old plays with the leaflet that was on the table , 1 of the workers came and took it from he's hands in anger. Luckily for the guy is I did not seen this personally but my wife and she decided to not tell me until we get back home. AVOID THIS PLACE PEOPLE SEE OTHER REVIEWS ITS NOT ONLY US THAT HAS THIS EXPERIENCE BETTER TO GO TO THE BUFFET IN PAISLEY ROAD OR COSMOS THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL SERVICE PROVIDER .

The food was not bad but the workers there were not welcoming seemed rude to me and my family my baby was playing with napkins and the man came there and just snatched it from my baby's hand and then tried to play it of I don't think I will visit that place again and a bit expensive for the food quality

After noticing a cracked glass on my table , and giving notification about food safety and suspicion of glass particles on a drink in that case to stuff , They came with a stocky man with gilet seems to be manager and claimed . It's safe to drink from the glass , no glass powder o pieces inside very very rudely. Than asked if I want it to be changed I asked please . Then been lowdly told while costumers been listening . Oh that's what you want ? An Other Drink ? A free Drink ? And kept escalating the situation till I left the place . The way having many positive reactions as most of reactions are negs looks like aliexpress cheekiness and rudeness and less interest in costumer safety

Me and my gf have visted a fair few buffets, and this one is by far the best, the food is always cooked really well, no chewy chicken like we often find in others. Staff are always helpful aswell. This place is well worth a visit

Feeling very upset after both my friend and I vomited many times after having our dinner at this place. We went after hearing rave reviews, and the food looked appetizing however I suspect the quality wasn't on par which caused us to throw up after dinner. Worst part was that the staff was RUDE and unhelpful to us when we shared our trouble. After 10 mins of trying to communicate to the staff that we need hot water, we were met with weird glares and mocking. I request the management to TRAIN your staff in both courteous behaviour towards unwell customers and language skills. Or you might just end up losing customers over the years. Cheers. Not visiting again.

As a family of 5 visiting Glasgow for the day, we decided to reserve a table ahead of time so they were expecting us. This was a good idea as it filled up fast. The staff were excellent, the service for drinks was quick, and they were efficient clearing plates. The food was phenomenal! Between us all, we tried almost everything. Particular favourites were the satay skewers, bao buns, and pork belly. Kids loved the unlimited ice cream and chocolate fountain. The Eton mess is also worth leaving some room for! Thanks to the staff for a great experience.

The place was very busy and crammed, the place felt very chaotic. The area to pick up food is very tight and small, it felt very claustrophobic. We were a party of 9 adults and 3 children. When we asked for our bill, we had been charged for 15 adults & 3 kids. We mentioned this to the waitress who was happy to get the bill corrected. But a stocky male in a gilet then intervened (supposedly the manager), and claimed 2 people from our group had left (which was completely untrue). An argument then started between our whole group and this man who claimed to be the manager, he kept getting his untrue story wrong, 1st saying the people that left told him they had left from table no 30, but we were table 51, then he couldn't confirm what name the supposed person leaving said they were from, when he was pushed for answers. The manager didn't seem interested in listening to us and was basically calling us liars, he was very passive aggressive, the whole argument also upset the young kids within our group. There was no apology for getting it wrong, or for his attitude. Unbelievable that they could try and charge us for 15 adults and then claim that 6 people from our group magically disappeared. We certainly won't be back, I would definitely not recommend this place. There are plenty more buffet restaurants within the area to try, I would recommend trying them 1st before coming here.

Went for lunch. Almost everything had been sitting too long. Chicken was dry, chips and onions were soggy. You can leave full but it wasn't good food. Won't go back.

Great buffet in Glasgows City Centre. It is clean, well presented, and the staff are very helpful. There is a wide selection of foods available from Chinese, Italian, Indian, Grill, Tapinyaki, and of course there's loads of lovely deserts too. Definitely somewhere to go fir a buffet.

Brilliant value for your money plus so much to choose from.. plates cleared from table right away..fresh food getting brought out constantly. My favourite was the Indian food but the Chinese duck wraps was to die for. So juicy 😋

Well when we arrived there was a young guy( member of staff ) with a man bun sniffing white stuff up his nose right near reception .enough to put anyone off there meal .Needless to say we turned right round and went back out .

Went in today to be met with a male at the desk downstairs who was abrupt and extremely unhelpful , and borderline cheeky to not only me, but to another couple who entered near the cut off between lunch and dinner. And informed us ' the point is we're closing ' well, ... the point here is ...we won't be back ! Terrible manner in which to speak to customers . Cosmo was far better and treated very well on arrival as you'd expect from any professional restaurant. 1/10

Did not book a table and was told to wait until a table became available - given a ticket until we were called. Less than 5 minutes later, we were asked to follow another person. There are plenty of food options. Don't know why these places can't be one way. People were walking in every direction, not an excuse me or an apology when they walked into you. Would not visit again if we were in the area. £41.98 for 2 people.

Food was good, but service was terrible, sign outside said lunch till 16:30 entered about 15:05 went in and told to take a seat and that last lunch order was at 16:00 I’m like okay we’ve got 55mins till then so was unsure why I was being told this. Then someone different came out and got us and straight away was saying we only have an hour which I was confused about as the sign outside says 16;30. On our way to the table he’s asking us our drink order which took me off guard as usually you get a chance to sit at the table and look at the menu before this. Anyway we had our food and then again just before 16:00 I’m being told I’ve got 15mins again sign outside says 16:30pm but anyway got the bill paid and then when I went to leave I was told I had to give them a receipt which I left at the table as I didn’t need. Was told I could not leave until I had proven I had paid wasn’t told at the table I had to take this receipt to the exit. My friend went back to the table to get the receipt which had been binned and we had to get the guy who took our payment to radio through to prove we paid. Overall bad experience and won’t be back.

I have been a good few times with my family and it has been lovely we went again on Saturday and me and my daughter ended up with food poisoning, I hope it was a 1 off but it's now Tuesday and I'm still suffering could have been from the water and ice fountain or the chicken korma as it's the only thing me and my daughter had different from my partner my partner is feeling fine

Went today table for 4 2 kids and 2 adults, wee arrived one after opening and the food was rubbish, cold and rubbery, the chicken pakora was pink. My son left some food as did everyone else in the place the waiter was cheeky and rude so wee just wanted to finish and and leave. Also was over £70 which I think is ridiculous. I wouldn't be back.

This was our first time in Scotland, upon checking on social media we saw this place was very popular and food looked very appetising, we decided to give it a try before we head off back home. What a big mistake we've made, after entering the restaurant we didn't get any welcomes, in fact we felt like we were bunch of unwanted guests. We were 'greeted' by the staff with blonde bleached hair, just after we sat down for 2 mins when we haven't even look at the drinks menu, we couldn't decided what to have in such quick time, he then stormed off, and came back with very condescending tone and attitude. This guy needs to have a whole personality check or else your restaurant will loose more customers like myself. The only enjoyable part was the bottomless drinks ;)

Busy. Hard to talk for the noise. But so much food. So many options. Nothing was bland. Also good value! The staff are not too friendly - but they are ridiculously busy serving.
