Taco Mazama Mexican Kitchen in Glasgow City

Amazing value too good to go! Large burrito and two quesadillas for £4!! Probably could've fed 3 people and I shouldn't have ate it all in one go but it was very tasty.

really disappointing order was missing some ingredients. Wasn't what you expect from an authentic burrito.no pico de gallo. no beans . no flavour. no clue.... guacamole seems supermarket bought and what little sauce we could find was horrendous

Ended up here as the restaurants we wanted to go to were full, but it turned out to be great. Very nice food, very quick service and reasonable prices. Nice atmosphere, super clean restrooms.

Great food - and burrito packed nicely. I felt full with a Regular burrito. The iPads are a bit confusing to use and could be of a simpler and easier way to order. Not a huge of interaction with staff - perhaps some people prefer it that way.

Lovely little place we ordered for lunch it arrived quickly and the food was amazing you can customise your order for different meals, toppings and sides. It was a bit pricey but you pay for quality.

King size burrito when you're really hungry, great food. Wash it down with Bundaberg Ginger beer and you're done haha

The king-size burritos are MASSIVE. And I say this as someone with a massive appetite. Be prepared and don't say I didn't warn you. Also, regardless of the size you choose, the fillings are delicious. Highly recommended.

Make your own burrito, which is the best! Anyway great place to eat a quick lunch seated. The regular burrito was big enough. My husband took the huggis burrito and it was very good!

great burrito and i really like the concept of creating your own, starting with picking the base (bowl, taco etc.), then adding the protein part and other veggies + sauce. Got it quick and warm, but a wider variety of veggies would be great:))

I ordered a burrito bowl.. For a regular bowl the portion was small and very little room. But, it was delicious.

Taco Mazama is just a better Bar Burrito. Hands down the superior burrito place and the staff are always spot on.

Good for a quick bite. Not the best priced but not bad for city centre. At lunch time for an extra 50p you can get a small back of nachos and a drink (can). Tacos are good but the sauce often makes the hard shelled ones soggy. Everything seems freshly made although a few times there taco shells have tasted slightly stale so maybe just a hit and a miss. Bowl is good, 3 sizes and quesadillas are tasty. They have two screens to order from or from counter. Fast service. Card only. 2 minutes walk from Central Station Gordon street entrance.

I love their burritos. It's my favourite in all of Glasgow. They give a very good amount and there's a discount for students

Honestly tbe girl who served me was actually very nice and welcoming. My issue is the burrito I got. I ordered the shredded beef which you pay extra for. I got my burrito and to be completely honest the burrito fell apart as soon as I opened it up and I had to eat it with a knife and fork. That was OK, no big deal. But I'm not sure if the staff I'm these taco mazama's are told to give as little portion sizes as possible because as I was basically eating a burrito bowl I could see there was barely any beef. It was mostly rice, beans and sauses. I just don't agree that if you pay extra for something the portion size is minimal. I've noticed it a few times eating here and i see a pattern. That's all.

OK, expensive for what it is, took three teens and they preferred Tacobell 😂

The place is nice and close to central station. Nachos are gooooood.

The humidity is unbearable, unfortunately, so my misses with asthma couldn't eat in, but we got takeaway, and the burritos are sooooo good.

Staff are lovely every time I'm in and food tastes amazing despite my tummy not agreeing with Mexican food half the time, worth it though ☺

The driver almost definitely went to pick up and deliver at least one other order between picking mine up from the restaurant and arriving to me. I was tracking on the website, and the more than two km round trip diversion that he took couldn't be anything else.

Very overpriced for what you get struggled to find pices of chicken in my chicken fajita. I wouldn't pay that again even though it was very nice. I don't like getting robbed!!!!!

Me and my partner went today for lunch. Probably more of a dinner thing as portions were quite generous, we just got regular sizes as we had never tried this place before. We liked everything we had but do think it's a bit on the expensive side, and a little bit disappointed with the meal set up. It was confusing as you have all these steps to choose different parts (sides, toppings, drinks etc) but it doesn't make anything cheaper and it isn't a part of a deal? I think it shouldn't be advertised the way it is because I know I wasn't the only one confused. In saying that, the staff were attentive and nice, food was really good just a tad expensive. Did overall enjoy this place and will be back

Food was good and warm when arrived but was very very late and the app did not keep us up to date with the status of the order.

My go-to place for burritos in Glasgow. They always have a decent veg selection, including my favourite, veggie haggis.

The food in here is lovely. The only problem is the price attached to it.

The food here was quite nice. Lots of veg options and everything was super tasty. Not the biggest place, and some of their tech solutions weren’t working optimally, but the staff was very kind.

Service and shop was lovely, food was ok. Didn’t feel there was much chicken in the burrito compared to other similar shops near by.

Food wrapping was open when received. The bag was ripped and contents had soaked through the paper. Food wasn’t wrapped securely enough or wasn’t handled correctly on transportation. Food was good however.

Burrito was made with the exact opposite of what we wanted which is a health and safety issue reg. Allergies sour cream guac and lettuce all added when asked not too tacos are soaking wet and freezing everything is made sloppy the restaurant was dead but the staff didn't feel the need to clean the tables toilets were disgusting. We all hate our jobs but to hear the staff making your food say it to you is a bit off putting. we used to come here all the time last two time dire they don't pay attention don't care and could make someone seriously ill I would have said at the time but the staff genuinely don't care so we just left our food waste of £30. Won't be back

Prices disappointingly increased in line with neighbouring taco shops, but Mazama remains the best burrito in town. The self ordering is temperamental but is very successful when it is working.

Very tasty, nice staff and very clean. Portions are to small! I ordered a regular bowl and left hungry, like I said the food was very tasty but just not enough of it, thank goodness I never ordered the small portion.

Really disappointed that my order was entirely wrong and I was over charged for what I received, unable to request a change as the slow service in an empty resturant meant I was already running late for my train. Use to love Taco Mazama but won't be back.

What a little gem to find. Super friendly customer service, she was American, I believe, and couldn't be any nicer. The pulled pork burrito and the loaded nachos were cooked to perfection. Wish these were closer to us down near Durham. We were so hungry - we forgot a picture!

The burritos were just mainly rice. I asked for no beans in the tacos but they came with beans. Disappointing all round

Worst food and staff was worse as they gave me some burnt pasta with no meat as a too good to go "meat" deal. And he said he ran out and he won't cook any more for the day. Update: after I ate some of it, my stomach hurts now!

This place is great! It's my go to lunch stop while in town. Big portions and the food feels authentic. Only issue is being a smaller store seating can be difficult when it's busy.

Located close to Glasgow central station. Lots of options but felt it didn't represent value for money. Particular for non meat orders. Mexican street food should be cheap. Tortillas chips were very dry although the bag was greasy. Marked down for being cashless and for the ipad screens and card readers taking up too much space on the tables. Elbow room is a must when eating this style of food.

We did purchase food through too good to go app. This app try to prevent food waste. You do pay for it but u pay less then a retail price and the magic bag is a suprise. I did purchase it for 4£ and i got a burrito. What is absolutely allright. I was so happy with that. Next day when i started to eat it they filled up only with RICE!!! I did write to customer service they answerd after 2 days telling me they will contact the managers and update me. Since waiting for the updat. Its so disrespectful. I did see they had everything. I still spend money on the maguc bag. But only giving rice is just rude. If you dont want to sell magic bag U can switch off the app….you dont need to give rice in a wrap..

Large burrito was bigger than my head and delicious.

Food hot and freshly made. Wasn't asked if I wanted brown or white rice also Wasn't asked if I wanted a drink. I had to ask. Two small things but I feel should be asked. Overall would definitely use again 8/10

I am sick of this place claiming they serve good food. Ordered the largest item on the menu, not bigger than a biro pen! The portions are poor and the food is average at best. Ours was cold and we live nearby. £26 for a burrito and an enchilada!!! If I was to rate this Mexican against the rest in Glasgow, it is the worst!

Unfortunately much too spicy for me and my daughter! Most of the food ended up in the bin. I know it's Mexican, but some labelling or spice rating would be super useful.

Taco Maxima is a great wee eat in or takeaway Mexican fast food shop staff are friendly and good and what they do some of the large and XL stuffed crust burritos I just look at in amazement that they can even burrito wrap them

Currently one of the best price quality combinations you can get in Glasgow for a hot lunch. The burritos are great, the service is quick.

Staff looked miserable. It was our first time and the staff seemed annoyed we didn't know what we wanted. When we got it, Taco had no flavour at all, so bland. £7 for flavourless meal.

MASSIVE burritos!! Only place I know that uses two tortillas on the same burrito.

Fist time trying this place, would definitely go back.

Left my review on Just Eat too but was so impressed I felt this place also deserved a Google review! Pulled pork fajita was perfectly wrapped, so much flavour and the peppers were crunchy and juicy! Really tasty guacamole too. My partner also loved his burrito, definitely will be getting from here again! Best fajita I've ever had

This order was delivered almost an hour late. I specifically asked them not to include the receipt as it was for my parents, but they did anyways. Paid extra for guac in one of the burritos, wasn't included. Food arrived cold. Complete waste of time and money, so disappointing

Delicious. We had the tofu option and it was exactly what my belly needed. Friendly, helpful staff, this place is amazing.

Delivery time estimated 2 hours after order was made. Apparently was delivered to another address. 4 hours after ordering I got my meal. Unhappy.

Food arrived over an hour late. Original order placed 17:50, sheduled to arrive by 18:35, and arrived 19:50. Food was hot & freshly re-prepared by Taco Mazuma so cannot fault the staff on this front. Low rating is only with delivery time scale.

1st time I came here, about 20 minutes ago actually, and watched as one of the staff scooped food out of a tub with his hands. Yes, his hands. So, I walked out. I definitely don't want to eat in a place that has serious hygiene standards. I may even report this as it is a disgusting working practice and puts the public at risk. I will not be returning.

Amazing fresh food so much cheaper than bar burrito which I don't recommend trying to anyone as price's and quality of the food even a portions are below 0 👎🏻so definitely choice this little burrito place as I will not be scared say is best in Glasgow handy and fresh with low prices tbh 🙌🏻

Had vegan taco. Soya mince was more like I imagine animal feed is. The spicy ketchup was pretty gross and the guacamole. Not recommended

The people were extremely kind to to us and showed no signs of annoyance or aggression when we were asked to repeat what we wanted. The menu is outstanding, with a handful of vegan and vegetarian options. DEFINITELY visiting again. P.S, If you are a lover of spicy food, then this is the right place for you.

Food arrived 35 minutes late and the food was not wrapped properly had leaked through the paper bag spilling everywhere. Food quality is decent but would not order from here again. Think I need to charge the restaurant for the burrito juice that my carpet is now covered in

Food was delivered late, but was still warm upon arrival so that was fine! Portion sizes were really decent but everything was a shade on the salty side. Still pretty tasty in general, but not the best I've had.

Vegan food was amazing. Great customer service - they called and kept us updated on the order.
