We faced our first ever racist attack in TGIF bracknell...we were 7 Asians had 4 small kids with us...they took our orders and then did not serve our food....the kids waited patiently for more than 45 minutes ....they kept serving the food to other customers who came after us....the kids felt very embarrassed and they were starving. When we decided to leave ,the staff said its ok....so after more than an hour and no apology from them we had to leave without food It's definitely going to leave an impression on the young minds . Shame on tgif bracknell

20 minutes to get asked for drinks, was the only drink we got all night. Basically an hour later to get food. Orderd the smash burger, but if I wanted a mouth full of charcoal I'd of told farther Christmas to go do one. Cheese nachos also taste better with cheese but I guess that was too much to ask. Wasn't asked once how the food was so ill let them know this way. Didn't even stick around long enough for that birthday cake for my kid but couldn't really wait another hour for that.

Absolutely horrible place and insanely expensive for what they have to offer. I’ve got no way to give a 0 star. Never going visit this place ever again.

I was taking 2 special needs people to the cinema and thought as a treat, we’d eat lunch in TGI Bracknell. Huge mistake. Extremely disappointed. There were notices on the doors saying ‘cash only today as systems were down’. Nothing more than that. Didn’t mind paying cash at all however, the service was awful from start to finish! Cold chips and Luke warm Mac n cheese. Had to ask for a server just so we could order drinks! Ordered 3 desserts but they took so long we had to say leave it. Asked for the bill as our film had already started at the cinema. Waited ages for that too as it all had to be worked out by hand. In the end I had to say I’ll come back and pay after the cinema. 2 hours later I returned and the bill was still not done. Absolutely ridiculous. I even offered to add it up myself! Never again. Over priced too! £18.00 for chicken fingers and chips!!! They should have simply closed the restaurant. Nando’s for me and my friends now, every time!

Had a late birthday celebration at friday’s in bracknell. Was pretty much average. The receptionist was nice when we arrived, took us to our table. We came 12nn and were the first customers they had. The table we got was all sticky and glasses were dirty. We ordered our meals,but We waited ages for our mains to arrive. But Food was good, staff were friendly

Menu - Appalling and overpriced - £19.00 for a quarter pound burger with a choice of EITHER fries OR side salad. If this is typical of American restaurant fayre, then my desire to visit the USA has just been reduced.. I struggled to find ANYTHING that I wanted to eat. Food - Overcooked and overspiced. Burger had good flavour, but was overcooked, and completely dried out. Cheese was dry and leathery. Salad OK. Service - Good, but a little too familiar for my personal taste. Atmosphere - Why do so many restaurants insist on having the "BACKGROUND" music playing so loudly that it makes conversation difficult. I emailed to TGI's and their only response was that prices were outside of their control. If that is the case, how can BK and McD produce a good tasting burger, with fries AND a drink for less than half the price of TGI's cheapest burger. All three generally have high street locations, so building rent and rates will not be much different.

I came here with my children for a family meal, for a treat for them, and I really wish I hadn’t bothered, will not be coming back here. The food was ridiculously overpriced for what you actually get on your plate. It was cold and over cooked, so very dry. Wasn’t a massive deal to choose from on the menus either . My sons meal came out first, and bless him, he wanted to wait for his sister and mine to come out too so we could all eat together .. I insisted he started eating and he didn’t want to. we waited 15 minutes for the rest of the food to come out and So at this point my sons is stone cold. All our drinks had floating bits in it so glasses weren cleaned properly. Not one member of staff came over to check on us, but happily watched us from a distance and could see my son waiting to eat. Will not be coming back here. I’ve never left a bad review for anywhere before and I’m not one to complain, but looking back at my experience I had yesterday there, i felt the need to come on here and let people know how down hill it has gotten in there.. such a shame as used to be such a lovely place to eat

Dreadful. Had to ask multiple times to get drinks. Still some forgotten. Food was disgusting. Presentation awful. Brown salad with the chicken. Totally overpriced and disgusting. Table next to a dirty bin. Restaurant not clean, stuck to the floor and the seats. Yuk.

Update: Holy smokes. This has gotten outrageously expensive now. Nearly £25 for a burger! £20 for chicken fingers. Service was very good and understanding. We left before drinks. I don't know how anyone can afford or want to eat here. It's not like the food is even good quality. Menu photos added. Original review below: Very expensive. £18 for a chicken quesadilla and fries. Cocktails are apparently 2-4-1 but priced as if you're paying for 2! £16 cocktails with some as much as £23! More like 2-4-2 cocktails. Staff were great though. Very attentive. Many better options available close by.

It was our first time at TGIF. Unfortunately had a poor experience. First it took nearly 30 -40 mins for the food to arrive at the table. Food quality was also below average. The wings were overly salty (still feel it at time of writing). Chicken fajita on the other hand had almost no salt. Kids meal was average. Ordered 2 tropical mocktails and they were more like a high sugary drink. When asked for desert, we were told there is a huge queue and will take a while to arrive?? Will not be looking to come back again.

The food was the only decent thing about this restaurant. We got a table which only had half the cutlery and even after reminding staff twice we didn't get anything untill food turned up. They forgot two drinks. They were understaffed. And the whole atmosphere was really not classic tgi, don't think we shall be going back.

Horrible experience Friday 31st May 2004. Arrived at 8pm sat near the food service area. Total chaos food sat on the service hatch for over 30 mins. Staff openly complaining about the shambles in the kitchen. Food orders completely wrong and staff standing around not getting orders out. When our starter came we got served raw bacon on our time square starter!! Waited ages for main food which was over cooked/ dry/ tasteless didn’t arrive at the same time. When we spoke to the waitress (not her fault) they had major staff issues I suspect no qualified chefs it looks like waiting staff had gone into the kitchen. The manager seemed to be overwhelmed. Utter chaos and ruined our daughter in laws Birthday. 25% off our bill isn’t why you go out to celebrate a birthday. Probably the worst restaurant experience we have had. Also dangerous this site needs senior management to investigate 🔬

Ordered at 11.35. Took over an hour to leave the restaurant. 1hr 20 from ordering. Missing meal and what did arrive was COLD.

We were turned away from the very rude staff on the bar me and my friend who were planning to have some food even tho its advertised its open until 10:30 but they shut very rudely at 9:40pm. We will not be coming back here.

Booked a table of 13 with the manager for 3 birthdays in one on a Wednesday night and they absolutely smashed it! We arrived a little before 6:30pm to set up the tables, all the staff were attentive and extremely helpful with any questions we had. Gluten and dairy intolerant me got a run down of what I could and couldn't eat! Then the food all came out at the same time and was cooked perfectly (shout-out to the chefs, more than aware that isn't an easy thing to do) 👍 Ella who was looking after our table was fantastic and a real credit to the team, she even managed to convince a bunch of the chefs to come out and sing the TGIs birthday song for my sister's and my son which was a really nice touch! At the end of the night we offered to help the tidy up as confetti had gone everywhere but were told to go relax and enjoy the rest of the night! The food was underwhelming and very expensive for what it was - it seemed microwaved to me. There are more tasty and cheaper burgers available in the other establishments in town. Service was ok but nothing special and the it felt like it needed a deep clean. Our table needed a wipe over, there was food littered about and the fixtures and fittings were dusty. And I've no idea why the music needs to be so thumping where you can't hear the person sat 3ft away from you. Wouldn't rush back.

Fantastic customer service shame about the quality and price of the food. We spent £100 on chicken wings, fries, burgers. The food was not worth the money we spent. The staff that served us was brilliant!!

Restaurant was dirty with multiple tables left with food on them from previous clients. Food was pretty bland and steak was not cooked to how it should have been (medium) and was overall low quality for the price. Girlfriends pasta came cold so we sent it back, only to wait 15 minutes for it to come back out, by the time we had decided we just wanted to go. Was our first time going to TGIs, and can say we will never be going back. Extremely disappointed as was excited to try somewhere new

Not quite sure how to rate TGI in Bracknell, the food is pretty good and the service is amazing, but it's just so expensive! You've got Giggling Squid next door and Tangs just opposite and I'd have to say that I'd not choose to go to TGI again because of the cost.

Super fast and friendly service we didn't have to wait too long to be seated even though we didn't book, food was pretty good well cooked and seasoned, ribs were especially nice 😋, a little bit pricey for the food you get hence the 4 stars

Not all food was delivered, nor the sauces that I was asked to select. when I called the store they said they couldn’t do anything about it, and to call just eats. It’s not just eats fault that Fridays staff can’t read a ticket and then pack the bag accordingly! I think some reading lessons might be of some use for the Fridays staff. Food was also stone cold on delivery and again that’s not just eats fault as they left the restaurant and delivered within 9 minutes.

The food is great and especially as a vegetarian, it's nice to have some decent options that aren't just mushroom or squash. However, the cost is almost a joke now and the portions for sauces etc are constantly being reduced, meaning you have to ask for more, and pay £1 for another spoonful of sour cream or whatever. The reward app does at least help with the cost, but it's definitely just an occasional treat place to eat now rather than somewhere to go regularly. The other slightly strange thing is that the website let me book a table for 11am, but they don't actually open until 11:30 according to the door sign, so not sure what that's about.

Fantastic first experience. Food was plentiful and super tasty. Fun atmosphere, good music. Excellent service. Enjoyed kids eat for free and a free dessert via the app. Oh and we celebrated husbands bday so the staff sang to him and delivered cake. We’ll go back. Excellent experience

We had a lovely meal here, made even more fabulous by our amazing server Lauren M, who made a great meal even better, thank you for such a great experience making sure everything was exactly as we asked for with our fussy eaters and ensuring we wanted for nothing. Tried TGIs out once with friends months ago, never again. Everything was lukewarm and reheated, microwaved. One of the worst places I've eaten in and around Bracknell. - Slow overworked service - Rude, confrontational, borderline aggressive management - Thumping background music - Overpriced, clearly microwaved food - Icy cold, people sitting down wearing coats indoors, in winter There are much better options within a stones throw.

Booked a table for my daughter and her boyfriend and granddaughter. Saturday night 6.45pm, it was very busy and we could not have the table early, so came back to A/C not working in the restaurant very hot for my 1 year old granddaughter and not pleasant for us. While waiting I noticed the restaurant was very untidy and grubby. The service felt rushed and uncomfortable and unfriendly as if they just wanted you in and out, no real care for the experience.. just like McDonald’s!!! I could see lots people waiting for their food and get impatient with the heat of the restaurant made a perfect storm.⛈️… After waiting more than 35 minutes for our staters…. ( mine was lost in action and never arrived) I decided to call time on the evening. Not what I expected for the cost of the food vs the service provided..very disappointing.!! I therefore voiced my disproval to the manager and left without payment being made due to our night being messed up and refusing the main course out of protest. Which just happened to turn up on as we complained..!!!!! We have not been to TGi Fridays for some years but anyways had a great experience with High Wycombe and the Reading Branch near Caversham. My daughter’s family do not get to dine out very much as they have a young one. In my experience avoid…unless you like being treated badly…. I felt there were too many people just putting up with waiting, I for one will not be returning and would sooner cook at home.

Prices have gone up, menu has shrunk and the food just isn't as good as it used to be. Staff are great, but otherwise its just not as good as was.

Where to begin. Just had an awful time at TGI Fridays in Bracknell. I ordered 2 for 1 cocktails (they are weak in case you are wondering). Let my 20 year old son, who's birthday it was, try a bit of my cocktail (after he was refused one after forgetting his ID, despite me having a picture of it). Manager marched over and spoke very rudely and unkindly to him. And then proceeded to watch him from afar making him feel uncomfortable. No polite word with us, just unnecessarily mean. It has really upset what was meant to be a nice birthday dinner. I could tell the manager didn't believe me when I said it was his birthday. Food was cold and definitely not worth the money. We were there less than an hour as we both felt very uncomfortable and couldn't wait to get out. I shall not go back ever again.

Called restaurant at 7.35 who said food was sitting there and no driver. Website was down. called restaurant to be told it had been collected but still took another 25 minutes to get delivered. Driver got lost and then part of the order was missing. They have offered a credit and not given my money back.

Went in to have a drink and a starter to take away. After complaining and waiting an hour for 1 starter we asked for a refund. The manager didn't know how to do a refund and whilst waiting for her to do it the food came out for us to eat in. Food was for my daughter at home so was sent back and the manager eventually gave us cash back as didn't know how to do a card refund. Second time in a row I have been here where this has happened, won't be going back again.

Food was tasty, way overpriced. The place is filthy. Even the open kitchen was dirty. We went there on a Sunday afternoon, around 2ish. There were a few tables in but not too busy. Was waiting for our drinks for more than 20 mins, I had to ask the waiter to look for them. The table and seat were dirty, before we sat down, again, had to mention it and get cleaned. Well, I tried it and won't go back again. Rather pay for Five guys, lol. I only give 2 stars because the burger was good.

We frequently go to Bracknell TGI, on this occasion 25th November we had a gift card offer where we saved 10% by putting £100 on the card. Starter chicken strips cold and overcooked.... Chicken burger had the tiniest bit of chicken, like they had cut some off to make 2 meals...and again not really hot.We saw food sitting on the side awaiting service for 5 to 10 minutes. To top it off there was no heating and most people were sitting in coats hats and scarves eating their food. Also we were told our gift card didn't work and the bill was wrong!! Sitting waiting for 20 mins or so for them to work it out!!! Come on guys what a let down....the guy serving us was getting the hump as everything that could go wrong did, but we still tipped because he did an excellent job and stayed professional....

A return visit to Fridays on a FRIDAY as a table of 4! Customer service has improved marginally across the board; our server was friendly and helpful throughout - however, baseline standard expected. Food was average across the board except for the 8oz steak, which was ordered as medium rare but appeared medium well verging on well. Tasted ok. No member of staff came to check on food once we started eating. Presentation and quality of food has generally declined across the board at TGI's in the UK - is this something to do with the UK franchise? Price wise, very expensive for the quality and level of effort that the staff make with customers. Would recommend to avoid and head to Nando's across the way instead for a better and cheaper experience.

Very loud music, and a bit expensive

Patrik my server today was amazing. Honestly could not of asked for a better more informative bar man. Not only did he walk me and my brother through each cocktail he also recommended what he thought would be a good match for us as customers. He was bang on correct. Made my little brother's 18th and also made my 14 month old son feel so at home, by making him a balloon animal and giving my son a drink (maybe on the house) but didn't even faze the guy. Such a lovely place and Patrik is a credit to this place. Honestly ask for him what a guy......remember too tip. X

Really disappointed. Me and my partner have been regular customers of TGIs for years and this may have been our last visit. Food wise the Chicken Quesadilla is a joke. Other than the chicken you get a sprinkle of cheese and the rest of the ingredients is raw onion and a fresh cut tomato.. for £17.70?? That’s extortionate for what you get, it tastes so plain and I had to look for the chicken to find it among the raw vegetables and so much dry wrap. The half rack of ribs my partner got came as a meal, with watered corn that tasted like it was old and just taken out the freezer with no flavour. When making it a meal the only option you have is ‘seasoned chips’ with no seasoning or a salad with no option to upgrade for even additional cost. So you have to take either the dry chips or salad even if you don’t want it, and then get another portion of cheesy chips or a side you actually want. The cocktails were filled to the brim with crushed ice and I saw other customers complain about this too while we were eating as it makes the drink look full but you get about 5 sips from it. The tables around us were messy and left unattended with salad and left over food on the floor, and whoever came to clean the tables didn’t even clean the mess user them. The service was slow, and had to walk up to the waiters to ask for missing sauces that should have come with the meal, and was backchatted to when mentioned this. For a nearly £65 meal, it was a complete rip off and the quality of food was appalling. I wish we went anywhere else to eat, as here we got no value for money as was further agitated by the plain food, messy eating area and bad service. We will not be setting foot in TGIs again. We went into TGI’s, about 20 minutes before their kitchen closed, to eat. The staff were lovely, kept the kitchen open to serve us food. We wanted to say that Ella, our server, was absolutely amazing and very attentive. She was lovely and definitely an asset to the team at TGI’s. The lady who I’m assuming is a manager who I spoke to outside after our meal was also great. Lovely service and brilliant staff.

Food was tasty. Fresh and served quickly. Had a starter and a main with my son. We're in and out within an hour but didn't feel rushed. Service was excellent.

Too cold inside when we were eating, expensive food

We enjoyed a family meal out here on a busy Saturday evening. We were welcomed and served by Jayde V and were impressed with his attentive and friendly nature. Food was served promptly and was of a good standard although unnecessarily sweet for my taste. A very lively atmosphere with loud music which could be toned down a bit. Overall a nice place to enjoy good pub food.

The burgers were hard and tough and you get a lot less portions than you used to get.

Absolutely terrible service, waited an hour for 2 cups of tea to arrive after reminding 2 waitresses 3 times. Apparently the machine was doing a clean but it took them an hour to realise and let us know. The food was mediocre at best and was luke warm where it was sat on the hot plate waiting. It was my nephews 9th birthday and there was a drama where a customer was asked to leave we were that unnoticeable that 2 of the waiting staff took this customer to one side away from the other customers but this away location happened to be right in front of the table we were sat at right in front of the children! To top it all off the bill was printed and ready to be paid but the till system went down (although the card machine was fine) and we waited a further 40 minutes just to pay the bill. The bill was split and the drama was that they were missing the other bill for the other half of our party which happened to had been given to the table next to us 30 minutes prior. 2 out of 4 kids now asleep on the bench we were done and ready to get out of there! Absolutely terrible service for the amount of staff on! AVOID

Been twice now early evening both times told haven’t enough staff to serve you , we only wanted drinks and the bar was empty, only the barman stood doing nothing. There was five of us , won’t try anymore.

BEWARE, kids do not eat free if you have their set menu. The kids chose the kids meals and we chose a set menu two courses for 13.99. We did not know this. So the meal was considerably more than we thought it was going to be. We asked if we can't use the kids eat free discount can we use blue light card. It's supposed to be 20% off, the bill came to £65 but we only got £5 again it was because this couldn't be taken off the set meals. Staff need to warn people of this. Very expensive will not return.

Oh dear!! No drink for 20 minutes after being seated, had to ask for a server to come take our order, still no drinks! In the end I had to go up and ask for them at the bar. Food then arrived burnt, replaced by manager and told we wouldn't get charged, bill came with charged, bill got sent back....then kept waiting for replacement bill. Rubbish experience and wont be back. On the positive, beer was served super cold, chips were served really fresh and meal was very reasonably priced. (Special 2 courses for £13.99) Summary Avoid this dated food choice and poor sevice restaurant. You have been warned!

Extremely slow service, taking over 2 hours for three mains and one dessert - £85 total. Could not find anyone to order or get refills, and it wasn't even that busy. Very meger portions on small plates compared to other TGIs; a £20 meal and I was casually finished in under 10 minutes, and my food tasted off, like it was undercooked. Massive shame.

Food was great Had the sharing starter, plenty enough for two people, four people may be not I had a glazed chicken burger, fresh, hot, well made, chips were hot and so good. No complaints with the food, refill lemonade, was more like soda water. The let down was apart from 1 member of staff, the rest all seemed miserable and like they didn't want to be working there, it just didn't seem like a fun place, and there were waits for refills or table clearances unless we asked. All in all better than a bunch of other Fridays I've been to, but not quite 5 stars.

I used to really like TGI. Reasonably priced food and a decent vegetarian menu. Now I find the menu geared to making poor vegan (which I am not) substitutes for the meat offerings and struggled to find anything interesting. Didn't enjoy my vegan 'sizzler' or whatever it was very much. But most significantly - and I do know about inflation, I'm an accountant - they are no longer a cheap place to eat. I think for the dining experience they offer they are very overpriced. Sorry. Graham.

We went here as a family before lock down and again last week, both times for a family birthday, however nothing has changed. The food is nice but definitely overpriced. The service on both occasions was dreadfully slow with little to no apologies. The waitress herself was very nice and extremely friendly but on her own she obviously couldn't make up for the lack of other staff. Because of this I definitely would not look to go here again nor could I recommend it to anyone

Not been to TGI Fridays for years after a bad experience there, finally went to the branch in Bracknell, food was actually good for what they serve, hot, not over cooked....mocktails were really nice, service was quick and efficient...staff all smiling when they caught your eye..will be back for a good couple of hours of natter, food and drinks..

Waited over an hour for our main meal and it still never arrived (despite being told multiple times it would be 2 minutes) They weren't very busy, it was just poorly managed. Our waiter was lovely but that's about the only positive from the experience. The starter we had was okay but nothing special and even that took over half an hour. Their were about 10 plates of food sat on the side for over 20 minutes. The staff kept moving the plates around and looking at the screen but didn't take them to anyone. We paid for our drinks and left, avoid at all costs!!

Bracknell restaurant. Found the prices to have increased and quality to have dropped drastically. We don't visit TGI Fridays often but when we do we generally have the ultimate ribs as they are usually lovely. The ribs where extremely tough and dry which is the complete opposite of what you expect from ribs. I asked the waitress if the ribs had been changed, as they were so different from what I expected and she said yes due to supply chain issue's. The ultimate ribs are now £26 which is disgraceful for food of that quality. On another note the restaurant is only staffed by teenagers who lack customer service skills and leadership, that are too busy chatting to each other to notice customers trying to get there attention. Chefs where play fighting which isn't a problem but just seemed unprofessional. We won't be returning to any TGi Fridays restaurants.

Why o why did we give this place another chance???…one guy walked past us 3 times with out saying hi, on member of staff was to busy talking to another one and EVENTUALLY someone came to see if they could help. We finally sat at a table, another wait for them to take to order, I will say food was quick and hot BUT the nachos were below average, no jalapeños (replaced this with some spices) and the cheese was more a cheese sauce. The main meal arrived kids liked there’s but our burgers, apart from being hot where just meh, I had the franks hot sauce burger…I think you need to visit my kitchen to know what Franks sauce is and what Monterey Jack Cheese is because the cook clearly doesn’t. All in all we attended purely for my eldest me birthday, we put this on the booking and in the past that meant a balloon hat would be waiting, staff would sing happy birthday and there was no need to order pudding as cake was provided….had to ask for the hat, got no song and the cake was given as we left. All in all I used to love TGI but this is the second visit I haven't enjoyed, I would recommend people visit Blues Smokehouse instead

Missed part of our order and don’t get a portion size of what you pay for

Usually excellent but tonight was a real let down. It took an hour and fifteen minutes to deliver, roughly double the initially estimated time and arrived stone cold. I suspect the order sat on the counter for ages before being collected.

I had high expectations of this place as I’ve been to quite a few TGI Fridays and they’ve all been great. I hate making negative reviews but I’m hoping someone will see this and turn it around for this store. We were one of the first people to arrive around 11:45. I took my children to the disabled toilet. The toilet was disgusting without going into too much detail. They obviously hadn’t cleaned it before they opened. Then we were seated. The tables felt grimy, when my son dropped a toy underneath the table was really gross and clearly not thoroughly cleaned. We then were served our starters that were good. We had to wait along time for our mains and the lady and her son next to us was complaining of cold beans that were clearly been given just out the fridge she said. She was served some more beans which were still just came out the fridge. Our mains eventually came and the chips were cold and burger was just about warm enough to eat. When I told the waitress she was polite and apologised and gave us some more. The place overall seemed not very clean, one of the waitresses was on her mobile. Just didn’t seem very professional. We won’t be returning but maybe we will to another location. It’s put me off for a while though.
