Tesco's Cafe in Doncaster

Really liked the cafe. Food was ordered by machine. Which was straight forward. Service was quick food was fairly priced and was nice and hot. Overall all very happy.

Dumb rule you can't sit on chairs and tables unless you're eating their food. Jobsworth behaviour. Not a good customer experience

My partner and I had two lovely meals. Really good quality and good value. My coffee which I’m very fussy about was great too. And despite it being busy we didn’t wait long for our food either. We were very impressed. We have had worse meals at expensive restaurants. Staff are friendly and work hard to provide a good service. Supermarket cafes have really upped their game.

I give 5*last time and a outstanding review today was just a insult I'm so sad of what I received and need a full refund

Decided to give tesco a try for breakfast. Very disappointed. 1x bacon 1x sausage 1x over cooked egg. Desert spoon of beans. 2x hash browns. 1x slice white toast. Was not given a choice of brown or white. Waited so long we had finished our tea. One positive point, it was hot. At £15 very poor value for money, as im sure all the ingredients would have been tesco own value range.

100 percent shocking can't call that an English breakfast .... It was like rubber with concrete cold toast ... Shame on you !!!

The driver scoffed for starters when I opened the door. Which is very rude and disrespectful then handed it over very aggressively to me. The drink cup has broke and leaked all over everything so now the food and drink is wasted as well as all over the carpet! Not good enough at all. People should be doing this job if they can not do it properly. I want a full refund immediately and money to clean the carpet!

Stopped by for a quick bite while on pit stop on our way North. Wanted a hot meal as it was freezing cold. Decent meal, ordered a Chicken Katsu Curry, it was alright.

Good options and really nice food at cheap prices. Quick service and nice friendly staff. Kids meals were also quality and served at an appropriate temperature for them to start eating👌. Kids meals were free when I brought a main meal.. Tables were also cleaned quickly and plates removed, so it was easy to find a seat even though it was busy.

Food was cold, probably because it was 30 mins late. Bacon was very fatty.

We visit the cafe on a regular basis and since it's overhaul it's been great. Tasty hot food, pleasant and helpful staff. On the last visit the coffee was excellent.

Went here with Mrs and both kids 1st thing they got wrong was the lady who brings food out went to the wrong table then when the food finally got to our table my lil lad had peas instead of beans which beans is what we orded then my Mrs orded fish chips and mushy peas in which the mushy peas wasn't cooked properly and on my breakfast the egg was still half rare sausage didn't taste great 1 piece of bacon looked like it has been left on heat for 20 seconds whilst my 2nd slice looked like it had been in the pan overnight and was blacker than the roads tarmac we shall definitely not be going here again it was awful

Been a customer of Tesco cafe for a couple years now and always enjoyed breakfast. Went today to find menu changed. They have taken tomatos off the breakfast but of course you can have them as a added extra ......95 pence for 1 tin tom lol.....looking forward to creggs opening

Ordered breakfast wrap, it came with 1 sausage, 1 hash brown and the tortilla itself. Missing bacon and the sauce. Ordered the Breakfast (with extra bits) and only got 1 sausage, 1 slice of bacon, and the beans were stone cold. Absolutely awful

Extremely small portions for size not worth the money.

Last week they forgot my bacon sandwich this week they forgot my drink coke Cola 2 bottles

We often come in late at night. We have always been greeted by a lovely lady with grey hair, a lady with a black ponytail and glasses and a lady with brown hair who has big eyelashes at closing time. We always have a smile and say Thankyou but this evening we were Id’d for a monster which is fair enough, my friend didn’t have hers and instead of just telling us politely like we all know she should’ve she decided to raise her voice and be almost aggressive telling my friend ‘put it back and get another quick we are trying to close we wanna go home’ please remind your staff she gets paid to be there so the aggressiveness and nasty attitude only made us all uncomfortable. My friend then said ‘no take your time’ and your staff member says ‘the slower you go the less you get’ then walked away to talk about us to the lady next to her. All 4 of us have been in customer service for years and know that that attitude would’ve got a disciplinary. There was also other customers who were older that didn’t get spoken too or ‘warned’ the way we did. Hopefully she was just having an off day.

Missing chips from my sons meal and our drinks ?

Being honest I cannot give this Tesco store a favourable review.depending on the time you use the store. Only one cash machine available, in the morning many of the staff don't wear mask and never have done , the staff have used foul language in front of management and earshot of customers and some staff being derogatory towards other customers with no reprocusions then after 7 am it changes onto a more customer aware store. So who's in charge, definitely not the management.

Husband had fish and chips which was overcooked (brown) I had jacket potatoe got plenty of tuna fish but no butter on the jacket coffee came in a soup bowl cup so it went cold quick and was overpriced at £2.70. Morrisons is usually better. STAFF DID NOT WEAR MASKS. The cafe was very clean but thought it expensive.

After grandchildren school run required cuppa & snack. Good visit place clean & tidy. 1 staff serving, so a short wait. Cuppa a good hot tea & biscuits for our snack. Good visit.

I went to this cafe after a shopping trip my aunty asked for a bagel to be told they had none then we asked for 2 jacket potatoes to be told they only had 1 and when my cousin asked for a panini they said they couldn't do it I think the advertising is poor and service isn't good bearing in mind they can go in to Tesco and get stock what they need but instead they tell people they have none of what you want

Good to see this cafe reopening after closed due to pandemic restrictions. Early birds from school run, so just hot drinks today. Drinks were hot, served up in new crockery. Service was very good. Will certainly be returning when shopping.

Tesco cafe advertises "all day breakfast" available until they close at 6pm. I arrived at 5pm to order aforementioned breakfast only to be hesitantly and rather unenthusiastically greeted by the member of staff who had initially been talking to the delivery colleague in the back for a couple of minutes before taking note of my arrival. I was told that the breakfast would need to be cooked from scratch (which is a good thing) and would take 30 to 45 minutes which I politely agreed to. I was then told that they close at 6pm and this would take up considerable effort to which I was quite surprised at, may I remind them they are being paid until 6pm yet it was only 5pm and they are trying to discourage orders already? I stated my case & persisted and eventually got my order taken and sat down. When the food came one of the sausages was broken in two and looked worse for wear, the toast was had no butter on and no butter sachets where offered, looked rather thrown together without much care, what was more surprising however was that it only took 15 minutes to come out. What was the fuss about then? I understand the cafe is understaffed at this time but if your going to advertise a product then as a customer it is reasonable to expect that you get what you order without trying to be talked out of it due to lack of effort. The breakfast was actually quite nice all in all but the customer service needs work.

Thinking of treating yourself to a breakfast here in the New Year?... Save your money and move down the road to Morrisons. We have just had the worst breakfasts ever. Ordered full English without the egg, tomato and mushroom... Nothing offered in replacement and charged item by item so what should have been £4.25 for a full English breakfast in this miserable, soulless cafe ended up being £5.25 for a plate of cold, congealed food. We also ordered toast which never arrived. Complaints fell on deaf ears so we complained at the service desk to be told it's run by a franchise and they are always receiving complaints about the food and dismal service. Morrisons was closed so we thought we would give Tesco's cafe a try. Huge mistake... Will not be going again. Get your act together Tesco cafe franchise and try to provide a decent service!

If you ever fancy something quick, something plain and you don’t really want to go into town or sit in a pub please DO NOT go to Tesco cafe especially around 4pm!! I ordered plain bacon and eggs sticking to Keto friendly diet. To be fair the eggs were perfect but the bacon was definitely warmed up or had been kept warm for quite a while I’m shuddering even now thinking about it. My lovely lady Julie had sausage, egg and chips immediately I could see the chips were hard and dried up, I thought the sausage didn’t look too bad until I went to cut it for her, the sausage was not good, so the rating of 1 is for the eggs. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

The lady running the cafe speaks down to staff and makes customers uncomfortable. When a lady staff member pointed out she was using the incorrect cloth to wipe the side she replied "do as I say and not what I do

been here before in the past dried up breakfasts and not very nice coffee, thought give it another try being a very cold morning , wow wow wow, excellent breakfast , and out of the world coffee. well done on the changes look forward to coming again.

Dropped in to meet relatives for hot drinks. Service very good, drinks hot with friendly staff. Popped in with our granddaughter who was made a fuss of by the lady serving.

Stood ages before being acknowledged then when we requested our food (all day breakfast menu) it was obviously too much trouble ! One of the ladies with much better skills did acknowledge thatwe would need fresh scrambled egg as the other was dried out for the other lady to huff and tell us we would need to wait 10 minutes we said fine for our next order to be received with another huff and we have no muffins! You are in a supermarket if you don’t want to do an all day breakfast then don’t. I can’t rate the food as it was clearly too much trouble to serve us so we returned our drinks and left. Time to kill & we spent 20 minutes for hot drinks and cake. No queue so immediate good service. Drinks were hot. Carrot Cake delicious. Staff were lovely and polite. No problems encountered a good visit.

Reasonable prices. Staff services was good. Rather than waiting they brought our food to the table.

tried a breakfast here for the first time and it will be the last time. The food is kept under a hot light which dries the food out,It is over priced and not worth a visit.You have been warned

Called here for a quick drink after shopping in the store. My husband was in the cue 20 mins for two hot drinks and slices of cake, this in itself is bad. What's worse is on eating the cakes they were dry and appeared stale. Not impressed as the cafe wasn't even busy at the time. Will not be returning any time soon.

Paid near ten pound for all-day breakfast with a brew and toast awful eggs not runny beans overcooked sausage was anemic looked like had mould growing on it shocking

Tres de nosotros tuvimos tiempo para matar antes de una cita, así llamado por aquí para una bebida y algo de comer. Era un café y estaba limpio supermercado básico. El personal era más interesado en charlar entre sí que en el cliente. Nos sentimos como si estuviéramos molestando.Uno de nosotros tuvo un desayuno durante todo el día, que estaba fría por el tiempo que fue entregado al dinero en efectivo. Razón de ser, la comida se procedió de los platos calientes y los huevos fritos ni siquiera en el pan! Dos de nosotros optamos por un croissant. Me parecía adorable, pero mordiendo en ellos, descubrimos que era muy seco. Una bebida pepsi, sin queja. Un café-débil. Un capuchino, sin quejas. En general, caro y decepcionante para el dinero que pagamos.

Called in whilst shopping due to need for a sugar rush. The service was was good as not busy at the time. Drinks were hot plus had their bought in cake which was also good. The staff were good, friendly etc. This is an average supermarket cafe with no problems to us to complain about.
