Friendly staff great place for a Sunday dinner good value and good variety of meats just like a home cooked dinner

Ordered bacon sandwiches this morning, asked for well done bacon as we like it cooked. I took one bite and almost threw up, the bacon didnt even look like it had been shown a frying pan or grill it was anemic and cold. Ended up feeding it to the cats, they were thrilled I'd bought them breakfast. Very disappointed don't think I'll bother again, I only really order because the hubby likes the sausages. He's just going to have to do without from now on, what a waste of money!

Can't fault the food, but delivery takes sooo long. Don't say an hour if it's going to be nearly 2 hours. I rang up and hour and 45 mins after I'd ordered, and it sounded like my order hadn't been started. Don't know if the establishment is under new management, but don't remember ever having this issue before. Great food, but go collect if you're able, imo. The dine in experience is by far better. As I write this it's now 2 hours and 3 minutes since I ordered. UPDATE. Food came, great. But didn't want beans, didn't order beans, yet there was beans on my sandwich. Maybe they were put on as compensation? Who knows. 2 hours and still got it wrong.

Ordered at 12 didn’t arrive till 2:20 I ordered a wrap and a chocolate fudge cake it shouldn’t take 2 hours and 20 minutes to deliver when I live down the road food came cold

Where do I start the two times we’ve ordered it’s taken 2hrs to come! And when I’ve rang I got the “it’s on its way” but absolutely was no chance it was as they take another 40minutes and I live a 5 minute drive. I Would’ve put 0 if I could’ve. The bacon is such thick horrible bad quality meat it’s barely edible. The food was Cold when arrived but we had to go out so didn’t have hours to wait for food to be picked up for refund. Won’t be ordering again.

Went there this morning with friends. The first time, my wife and me have been very busy and didn't wait long for food. Great breakfast, friendly staff. Well done and would recommend.

Food was okay, was unfortunate that the images on Just eat did not match at all what the food was.

Placed a order they told me it would be a hour phoned up after the hour told me it was on its was half an hour passed phoned back up for them to say the cook dint see the ticket and it would be another 45mins I will not be ordering again not organised at all

Would never ever order from here again. The customer service is absolutely disgusting. Ordered food at half 11 as I had work at 1400 so had plenty of time to eat it as it says time of delivery will be 35 minutes. After around an hour I rang asking where my food was, they replied saying your food is cooked however we’re just waiting on a driver and said it won’t be long. Another half an hour passed I gave them another call and explained that I have work at 2pm so if the foods not here soon then I will have to just leave it. They promised it would be delivered in the next 10 minutes. Tried ringing after around 25 mins for them to just completely not answer any of my phone calls and just ignore me. Another 40 minutes later the delivery driver turns up. I had to refuse the food knowing it was cooked and sat there for almost an hour and a half. When having the phone calls that they did answer the staff were very rude and didn’t seem to care, no apology or no explanation just hung up the phone. I never write reviews but I wanted to make people aware how bad of a business this really is.

Unfortunately the just eat app doesn’t allow me to add what part of my small breakfast was missing. I didn’t receive my Latte.

hadn't received my order at all, even though the app popped up with "Enjoy your food!" I gave it 20 more minutes before calling up to complain. The food eventually turned up, but wasnt very hot. I'll take a pass in future on this place.

Waited over 1h 15mins for the order to arrive with items missing and a large salad box not fastened up properly and it's contents emptied in the carrier bag, had to ring up and complain yet again! This place is just getting worse and worse!

Food was very good, but after 10 min I recived the breakfast without toast i went to ask if I gonna still recive them, was told yes. 5 min later i start eating breakfast becasue it was getting cold. I eat all of it and i went to ask what happend to my toast. Been told there was many customers( not so many). I told him that customers who order food after me they recived the toast but not me.

A brill place to eat and plenty of parking

Popped in as I had some time to kill before an appointment. Had a large sausage and egg sandwich and it was beautiful. Cooked perfectly, served quickly and nice and hot. Very friendly and efficient service. If I had any criticism it would only be that the frontage of the cafe doesn't look very appealing on approach. Could do with some work to encourage people in. But once inside it's fantastic!

Order Sunday lunch for delivery, so can’t comment on Atmosphere but my ETA was 13:31 by 14:00 no delivery called to find out where it was, miracle the driver was just leaving, food arrived cold and stodgy, obviously had been sitting there till I called, items missing from order was no point calling to complain started to have 2 hangry children, made the best of a bad situation, won’t be ordering again.

I never ever ever leave reviews but I’m absolutely appalled by this place! Absolutely shocking service!!! Ordered food for delivery and 2 hours 20 mins later STILL no food! Called them to be told every time the driver was on his way?? What’s he doing walking down A19 on his elbows? Honestly don’t mind waiting if I’m told there’s a longer than usual delivery time but just don’t lie? When the food did eventually arrive, it was freezing and all dried up! Not exaggerating it WAS NOT Edible! I asked the delivery driver why it had taken him over 2 hours to get to me as the shop had said he’d been on his way for 1hr 20mina? The driver assured me he was only handed my order 20 mins ago!!! 🤬 Why lie? Not got the best reputation anyway this place but when you’re desperate you’ll give them the benefit of the doubt! Lesson learnt!

Lovely and friendly staff. Was really busy (Friday morning) but didn't mind waiting. You know it's a decent place when it's busy with customers. Breakfast sandwiches are beautiful. Cooked perfectly and the sausages are absolutely gorgeous. Just moved in to the offices round the corner and will be making this place my regular friday morning breaky stop.

We ordered at 1103, rang at 1211 & we were told the driver had just left the cafe. We didn't receive the food until 1245. The food was freezing & soggy. We had to eat the sandwiches with cutlery... we had friends over & it was incredible embarrassing to get this service

A wonderful local cafe with super friendly staff and a speedy service. You always get loads for the money, and they have lots of choice.

Awful, ordered a breakfast and a pork, stuffing bap, the breakfast was horrendous the sausages are tasteless and cheap, fried bread was soggy and incredibly oily, the only edible item was the eggs. Order took nearly 2 hours to arrive, charged £3.50 for delivery less than half a mile away, overpriced for cheap inedible food, will never order again

Absolutely shocking ordered at around 11:20am didn’t arrive until 1:30pm, which then everything was cold, bread for the sandwich was soggy from the condensation in the foil. And the fried bread for the breakfast was that soggy was dripping. Hairs in the breakfast and the chocolate concrete and custard was absolutely vile. Won’t be ordering again

Our car broke down nearby, so we ordered a late breakfast, fast efficient and very friendly service, the food was great and no quibble at all over my dietary requirements. Locals were friendly, helpful and very kind. Cafe due to close, but very kindly left chairs outside for us to sit on and wait for recovery. Would recommend, and will be visiting again, hopefully without breaking the car.

Absolutely shocking ordered food at 12.17 Sunday for delivery .Sunday lunch. Took 2 hours ten min to be delivered 2.30 it was delivered .wow.dinner freezing ,stone cold .cauliflower needed to go in bin ,black in places . If you would not eat it yourself don’t send it out .first an last time for me .him who answers phone polite only positive thing to say about it

The absolute worst service ever. 40 mims late. No answer on the phone, fried bread oozing oil out and floppy. Hash brown soaked in oil turned to mash. I've got photos and videos to prove it. Can't get in touch in then phone so I've put it in Facebook and on here. Worst cafe in doncaster by far.

Ordered on line two dinners for our Sunday lunch to pick up, a beef and a pork to take away, service was quick and easy, both were delicious with very generous portions. I added a second yorkshire pud that was too much for me such was the meal size. will definitely use again.

Had a takeout here a couple of times now. Staff friendly, generally quick to serve you, plenty of choice and most importantly food is always correct, fresh and tastes great.

Friendly place, food was bang on, got the breakfast,plenty on the plate definitely don't scrimp on portions.

A huge variety of different meal options, breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert! Sunday lunch also available to eat in or takeaway, a tasty and convenient option if you can't be bothered to go out for a carvery or cook at home.

I was waiting for my food to come I order at 12:30 and it didn’t come till 14:20. The delivery service is rubbish I don’t think I’ll be ordering again from here. The food was cold, they forgot a can of pop I ordered and the cake I also got was out of date. A waste of £16.50 that was.

Fantastic staff and great superfast service including the delivery drivers who are very polite and friendly. A great choice of lovely food all cooked fresh and very tasty. Large free carpark fir customers and covid rules in place in the shop. Fabulous cafe!

My partner and I are new to the area and keep driving past, we decided to pop in and give it a go today and the food was amazing!! I had a bacon sausage and egg bap, and my partner had a jacket potato and cheese, we both thought it was the best food we’ve had from a cafe for a very long time! The portion sizes are very generous, and make it well worth the money. The lad that served us was very polite and cheery, nothing seemed to be too much of a hassle! We will definitely be coming back again!

Ordered cafe express at 10:20,at 11:55 I rang to see where food was to be told “don’t know it is late” Food finally arrived at 12:15.. Food Luke warm , sausages sour, eggs like rubber (asked for runny), bacon hardly cooked (asked for well done) only half a cup of coffee virtually cold. 3/4 of all food was binned

Prices are ridiculous..and definitely not value for money. I normal buy for a breakfast wrap for around £3.80 which includes bacon egg sausage hashbown cheese and Tom's , to pay £6.05 for their wrap is ridiculous and it's not even that nice compared to other cafe. (Rubber eggs ) They are over priced they charge you extra on cooked dinner its ridiculous u would expect it to be a cooked dinner not having to adding onto the price to add ya veg and meat gravy .what a rip off . If your offering a cooked dinner for example from £5 .25 then you'd expect the dinner with all the trimmings on it not to be paying more when it should come as standard . They use cheap nasty beans and want you to pay over the odds for their food . Wouldn't mind paying the extra money if it was worth it but I'd rather spend £10 on a pub carvery dinner than pay £10 for theirs

Soggy sandwich took over an hour to come

This place has always been really poor quality, clearly sourcing the cheapest possible ingredients, often wait a long time for delivery and will get the order wrong 9/10 times. I also complained on their Facebook page a few years ago due to an order not turning up and got blocked and it seems like they do that to everyone that tries to complain judging by other comments. Only ever tried breakfasts and sandwiches but the photos i've seen of their hot meals look really...disappointing. You'd have to have pretty low standards to like this place.

Ordered cafe express at 12:30. Rang up at 2:15 it was apparently ready waiting for a delivery driver. At 3 o’clock I rang again and apparently the food was just done. Got offered a refund (no discount offered) but after waiting hours I decided to get the food, I wish I hadn’t bothered. A Sunday dinner, chicken wrap and chips and afternoon tea were ordered. The gravy had leaked all over the tins and the Chips were cold, chewy and Plastic as though they had been microwaved. The wrap had no salad and the Sunday dinner was chewy and awful. After a 3 hour wait I am appalled and will never order or recommend again!

This was my first and last order from here it arrived 40 minutes late the eggs was rubbery, hashbrowns were soggy along with the toast and fried bread yuck. The beans and toms had leaked out there pots all over bag on the upside the bacon was nice and the cheesecakes are bueat!

Service is very slow. Called in for a take away ham sandwich took 40 minutes. I have used delivery as well and that take's anything from 1 hour to 1 1/2 to deliver.

Scheduled a breakfast the night before in readiness, an hour after it was meant to arrive I requested an update through Uber eats to see the delivery time hade changed to 12.00, I phoned the shop to cancel the order where I was told that I wouldn’t be getting a refund, only second time I’ve used them, food was good but delivery times / customer service appalling, but very good at taking your money and giving you nothing back for it.

I have placed many orders from here. Every order has had at least one sandwich or meal made incorrectly. The quality of the ingredients used is extremely poor. The presentation of the food leaves a lot to be desired. Who puts large stuffing balls on a sandwich? Why are the portion sizes so inconsistent? and why can't the staff tell the difference between basic gravy and the bisto gravy that you pay extra for? Why can't they write on a paper bag what is inside the containers or silver foil so the customer doesn't have to guess what is in it? Why do they not know the difference between a bread roll, a baguette and a panin? Above all why can't the staff be honest and polite to customers and let them know if items have been substituted in their order? There are much friendlier and nicer cafes to use in the area. Who use good quality ingredients and provide a menu with plenty of choice. I would recommend you give this cafe a miss.

We have just had a large breakfast from cafe express. The eggs were rubbery, the black pudding was so rediculously over cooked you could use it as a hockey Puck, obviously cheap beans and tomatoes, I'm not sure what they did to the bacon but it was discusting, the sausages however were very nice which is why they get 1 star. Do not order a full English breakfast from here it is a waste of money. We have had other foods from here which have been very nice so avoid the breakfast and you should have a 50% chance at a good review
