Tesco Cafe in South Hams

Says online it closes at 6 pm went in at 5pm to be told closes at 5pm so drove 3 miles for nothing

Stale toasted tea cake, warm coffee without a good flavour- poorly made by barista.

Requested ploughman’s baguette advertised all over cafe to be told none available (at lunchtime??) so chose poached egg on toast. Toast burnt and eggs barely cooked, barely edible food! Won’t use again no matter how hungry

The jacket potatoes looked fine, but my Panini was very disappointing. Lukewarm bread around cold ham and cheese. See picture.

Probably the worst Mocha I’ve ever had , it was solid powder at the bottom and when stirred lumpy !! Advocado on sour bread toast ??? Toast was freezing cold bread been no where near a toaster advo was a purée spread with chopped tomatoes and a massive amount of chilli flakes thrown all over it . Asked for a poached egg it was more like a hard boiled egg in all it was really nasty. Returned both Mocha was like a thick chocolate sauce and sour dough toast burnt , smaller amount of advo purée and egg even harder than the first time . Very obvious not enough staff and lack of general cooking skills , staff on coffee making more exited with the patterns they where making on the coffees . The menu needs better displaying , it’s in quite small font up behind the service area with flags hanging over it ! In all good for a laugh but wish I had bought an in store hot pasty

Typical supermarket cafe, clean with a variety of decent meal and snack options. It can get busy, but the food is great for the price so it's a good place to stop and eat if you're hungry and on a budget .. and need to do a big shop as it's a huge great Tesco store.

Really busy and staff working hard to keep tables clean and clear. Managed seating at busy times to make sure you can get a table. Food good for the price. Breakfasts very good. Staff very friendly and efficient. Well done staff and management at Tesco Lee Mill, fantastic!

Two of us arrived. Both had the standard breakfast- which was absolutely abhorrent. Sausages and bacon were pale white and luke-warm. Egg was overcooked. Never again

Breakfast was average .. got to pay extra for changes £16.50 For 2 breakfasts and 2 latte

Just had an amazing turkey and bacon Panini with a cup of tea. Really lovely food, v friendly staff and v quick service. Brilliant.

They do a hood English breakfast which always helps if you are doing the dreaded monthly shop

Tesco's cafe has a long way to go, to be as good as Morrisons

Very nice place to have a quick coffee after shopping the only down mark, is whete you put your full trolleys the so called lockets ate open and your goods could go missing if you dont keep an eye on it.

Got there early for breakfast. Nice and quiet, but some of the food was cold, this does not bother me but others may not like it.

I know it's only a café but very poor experience...nothing as frustrating as trying to place an order and ask questions..when the staff seem more concerned with talking between themselves

Nice lasagne with salad and garlic bread. Reasonably priced. Thank you.
