Visited this evening. Very friendly and welcoming pub, with a gorgeous dog! Great live music, and we were able to take in our take away pizza in, as they don’t serve food. Would highly this for a chilled Sunday evening.

Very friendly pub, welcome to kids and dogs. They have games and great outdoor area.

Lovely local ran by a lovely lady Bev. My kids and dogs are very welcome. They have 2 free games e.g pacman and a fight game also 2 player. Also lots of board games, darts & pool table. One of the best beer gardens that is well maintained now!

She is run by a very rude lady, she is not polite at all, I do not recommend her, she treats people like dogs.

Went to see Chris Banderas on Sunday evening, what a great place to go, great atmosphere and well accepted by the locals, and the landlady and other staff were exceptional, would highly recommend, and I'm sure we will visit again very soon

We came here regularly in the 70's, then it was absolutely fabulous - a great manager and a Lady ran the pub (I think the names were Eric and Maz) and very friendly staff. Came back now for the first time since then - loud, unfriendly and dirty - just terrible. Just a shame, a shame for such a great location.

Used to be a great place to drink when the old owner/manager had it. It's gone to pot since the new people took over.

Came in for a quiet pint and a bag of nuts after work. Only 2 customers in (regulars). Barmaid was moaning and effing and jeffing like a Squaddie to one of them. Didn't put me off, a proper boozer.

Just about the grumpiest, unpleasant service, I've experienced anywhere in many countries (probably landlord? No one else serving). Not one star because decent music and nice pub.

Good Guinness at a cheap price. Pleasant staff. Quick service. A no frills pub.

Pretty poor all around; beer was off, music was too loud. The atmosphere could not decide if it wanted to be a nightclub or a pub. Do yourself a favour and go to the pub across the road. The Bar lady was very pleasant.

Has a pool table and beer garden, however new manager/landlord is about as rude and unwelcoming as you could possibly get. Bit of a disappointment considering this used to be a very friendly pub.

A great real ale pub, the best in Kingsbridge if you can discern what real, real ale is of course. Very friendly. Reasonable prices. I would recommend

Landlord needs a lesson in manners, and needs to show a bit more respect for the locals.

Crowded, lack of social distancing and masks are not required (people put them on on entering but take them off immediately when ordering) . Its often you'll see people hanging around the entrance

This pub is a treasure of a pub. You always get a welcome. Fantastic band night! , pool, Beer garden. Just a great friendly pub.

Proper no frills pub, good beer, low prices, happy locals, friendly landlord, proper job!

These premises are great for weekend bands with a whole mixture of age groups, clean and tidy bar with outdoor seating and friendly dogs welcome. There's a pool table available along with a Duke box. Food isn't available here although if you ask staff nicely enough you can bring your own as long as you clean up after yourselves. If You're looking for work or have a job needing attention I suggest coming here and speaking with the locals. Families are welcome also. Enjoy

Very much a locals pub, but good service and excellent Guinness! 60 pence a pint cheaper than my local!!

It rocks. When pubs are empty this place has people that talk to you. It's reputation is out dated. Beer is 50p a pint cheaper the the creeks or stars. Drink good beer and enjoy.

Friendly locals & a great atmosphere, the 'Real ales' are simply superb, changed regularly due to their popularity, there is also a well maintained 'Beer Garden' at the rear.
