It is always freezing in this cafe ! It’s actually warmer outside ? Not a very nice response from a member of staff when I questioned how cold it was . Spoilt my breakfast experience

Have been back here a couple of times recently, unfortunately it's probably the last time, my friends beans where served cold last week, this was rectified and a fresh breakfast was provided, but today I had poached egg on toast, no butter on the toast, not sure if you have to ask for buttered toast ? and the eggs very small, one egg was runny the other was hard, used to be quiet a nice cafe offering some quality food, but has deteriorated since re-opening.

The seemingly, more non-descript cafés, tucked away in supermarkets, don't tend to be front runners, when it comes to Trip Adviser reviewers. However, having eaten and drunk in this café several times, I believe it's worthy of a review, not least because of the great, friendly service. Although I don't live in the UK, we have a relative living close by to this Tesco. I would certainly give 5 stars to the café staff, including those clearing the tables. I've only eaten cake or a sandwich, both of which have been good enough. Yes, the decor is a little tired and the more comfortable chairs are showing severe signs of wear and tear. However, for a reasonably priced cuppa and snack, it's worth a visit, when having a break from shopping.

The cafe found in this tesco matches what you will find in most of them same layout and menu..This one i found very clean with polite staff the breakfast was cooked well and arrived quick. What i found that was different was the seating as in rather saggy seat cushions made me feel i was sitting far to low.. i had to change places a few times to find a nice seat.

We had the breakfast which had double of everything on it. It was about 8.30am so it was quiet. The food was delivered quickly and was nice and hot.

The cafe used to be a nice place while it was upstairs and somewhat secluded, overlooking the entrance, now it is where the customer service area should still be unobstructing the entrance beyond the barriers The cafe was built downstairs and stilk to this day you cannot use your card to pay at the till, you use a digital touch screen covered in greasy finger prints and then pick up a digital table number which seems never to have been cleaned since it was new There are some tan seats which look as though they will get filthyquickpy and a number of tables already scratched, stained and dented to choose from, with seating by freezing cold windows provide unobstructed views of people in the car park staring in at you as though you was a zoo animal. The food is all cooked in the same oil, despite nearly being given someone else's order twice with no checks done at all, and another hostess asking if we had even ordered m anything, rudely, it finally arrived, only the overweight oily server had his badly chewed thumb inside of the bowl, I saw him serving others food and he seemingly makes a habit of putting it in there, which was an enormous out off of the food The food was greasy beyond comparison, tasting only the hot oil which was evident ally used to cook fish fingers in at some stage of its life, giving the potato a disgusting burnt fish taste, I used the paper napkins, a bundle of five of them, to drain the oil out of a single hash brown croutons, disgusting, I left half of it and well not worth the price, currently £2.60 for a can of coke which can be had in the store for 70p Parkihg is available, the front of the store fills up quickly and the other spaces are miles away from the entrance now that the utterly stupid decision to close off the middle doors to the store, an important fire escape route, was taken, because they did not want to employ an extra security guard. The problem when rebranding, is that the rot remains, so long as the same people stay in charge.

Nice Costa, always busy and the service is always slow in comparison to other branches. That said the staff are very friendly and always helpful. Food and drinks always good quality, hot and fresh

Like Costa, but feel the toasted sandwiches seem more bread, not enough fillings expensive now don't have them
