great park if like ducks,swans, and especialy cheeky squirrels. Cafe open apparently when it feels like it so don't go expecting be open all the time, and many paths there muddy so don't wear your favourite trainers.Nice walks,and dog friendly as well as no dogs allowed trails

And a very tasty and filling bacon and egg bap, complimented by a decent flatwhite! Easy access to this lovely space from the carpark on pretty flat and tarmac surfaced Road. It sits inside the park surrounded by trees, ponds and plenty of birds singing away. Staff friendly, professional and happy. Will be back for sure!

Very nice bacon and egg bap. Only went in for a coffee but just decided to go for it and glad I did. I’d recommend the cake too , the boy had chocolate and banana last week and lemon drizzle today and ate the lot. See you next Sunday I expect

Great little cafe with lovely cappucino and a small menu of very good food. Clean and fresh with indoor and outdoor seating. Sadly signposting to the cafe from the North Car Park is non-existent

We always have a lovely experience when we visit the Tehidy Country Park Cafe. The staff are helpful and the food is always delicious. There is inside and outside seating.

Went for lunch as a stop wile travelling to lands end was great place for kids to let of some energy with walk around the lake including big kid(hubby) wile I had a cream tea and coffee break. Amazingly friendly staff doing a amazing job even with the limitations of a pandemic great job ladies.

Beautiful setting by the lake under a canopy of trees. Fully adapted to Covid. Just serving drinks, sandwiches and cakes that are all pre-wrapped

We visited today and had the best cream tea. Lovely scones with jam and generous portion of cream at a very reasonable price. Will definitely be back for another! Highly recommended.

Have read about this country park we turned up looking to enjoy a walk with our dog and coffee and snack afterwards - it was disappointing to see the cafe closed , toilets closed and dogs not allowed on the lake side walk. It was a wasted and very disappointing visit. We come from the Midlands where we have country parks with cafes and toilets fully open with excellent Covid secure precautions in operation and huge open areas fully accessible by all users. Cornwall can learn a thing or two about how to operate successful country parks for all.

Living locally I regularly visit this cafe (at least once a week). The staff are so friendly and the food is just gorgeous. A personal favourite is the cheese and chutney hot baguette. The cakes are also delicious and very big portions for the price compared to other local establishments, with the added bonus that they are homemade. I highly recommend this cafe to anybody visiting the area or who lives locally.

The weather took a turn for the better today, so we decided on the spur of the moment to take a brisk walk in Tehidy County Park. Delighted to fine the Tehidy Country Park Café open on a January afternoon. Sun shining into the building, the hardier customers sat outside and it did make me feel a bit guilty going in in my muddy boots. Staff welcoming, clean and tidy as always (despite my muddy footprints) and it was a Pot of Earl Grey for me, a coffee for my husband and we shared a generous slice of Bakewell Tart. Set us up for a walk around the lake to admire the swans and other birdlife before heading back to the car.

Seven of us visited Tehidy today intending to have a short walk then tea and cakes in the cafe, however, when we arrived we discovered that the cafe was closed despite the website saying that it was open until 4 pm. We met other people who expressed their surprise that it was closed but some said that they had visited a couple of times recently and found it shut. Maybe there are problems which have prevented them from opening but if that’s the case then the details on the website need to be amended.

Tehidy Country Park Cafe is situated near the entrance of the woods so is ideally situated for a rest stop after your woodland ramble. Beverages, soft drinks and ice cream are available with lunchtime snacks and soups etc. All freshly made and the cakes are delicious.

Visited yesterday for coffee and cake. Had a generous slice of banana and chocolate cake which we shared. Really well priced, 2 coffees and a slice of cake came to £5 something. Friendly service. Outdoor and indoor seating. Pretty setting.

A lovely cafe for a walk and snack whilst on a walk. The cakes are reasonably priced. I spilt my drink and they gave me a replacement which is very generous.

Lovely park and walk. Would definitely recommend. Great for dogs. However, the cafe let us down. My partner and I have had very upset stomachs this evening from what only could be what we had eaten at the cafe at lunch today. Staff were pleasant and cake was nice but will not be returning for lunch/hot food, as we had a bacon, Brie and Cranberry baguette. 9/05/19

We visited on Wednesday 24th April 2019 after walking a lady we met in the car park on the north side of the country park, we was heading the wrong way and then bumped in to the kind lady and her dog and she walked with us. We reached the cafe and my son who has autism had some cafe whilst me and the wife had coffee, I also bought a postcard painting. The staff was very friendly and the drinks were nice..Will def pop in again next time in the area

Popped in here after waling the dog in Tehidy woods. Lovely cream tea with proper home made scones. Friendly staff and lovely environment.

Had a lovely cream tea here,fresh scones with cream and jam,coffee is class! the bacon and brie bagguettes are mouth watering,seating indoors or out at the tables,if lucky you will see squirells running about

This little gem is well worth a visit, gorgeous woods to walk in and a really lovely tea room with outside seating, dogs permitted, home cooked food at good prices, we found it by accident lol and were glad we did., well worth looking for

After a lovely long walk around the lake and woods, afternoon tea and cake was a nice break before heding back home. Staff incredibly friendly, good range of drinks, home-made cakes and a limited number of snacks freshly cooked to order. Very reasonable prices. A nice place which deserves support and success.

When walking through the lovely Tehidy woods - the Park Carfe is a lovely place to stop and have a coffee. Dog freindly; seating outside when dry.

Went solo for lunch today. Had to have one of their hot baguettes with brie, bacon and cranberries and a piece of their fridge cake (lots of chocolate) as had done lots of walking! Very relaxing eating and reading a book while getting over getting totally lost on my walk and doing double the mileage I was intending! The service was friendly and efficient. Fine place to visit on my own.

Lovely location next to a small lake, food looked reasonably priced and staff pleasant and helpful. Only drawback was the unpleasant state of the ladies toilets, both seats broken and one was dirty underneath and did not look as though it had been cleaned for a while.

Visited today with my husband, 12 year old son and 15 year old daughter. We weren't sure what to expect. The building is a quirky shape and we loved it (although it must be a nightmare kitchen to work in). Toilets conveniently located for hygienic handwashing. Hubby and son enjoyed a drink and slice of cake (son: "lovely", hubby "very good"), whilst daughter went for ham and cheese baguette ("delicious"). The only thing that let it down for me was that it lacked a 'healthy choice' option. No jacket with beans, alternatively the baguette option could easily be made into a ham and cheese salad. Saying that it was clean and tidy with friendly, helpful staff.

Ordered a sub and was dismally diappointed. Dry bread tasteless fillings. The staff were very pleasant tho

We had seen signs for the park on previous visits to the in-laws and decided to take the dogs for a walk and see what the park was like. Unfortunately, you cannot take your dog into all areas of the park due to concerns about the flora and fauna, but there are plenty of pathways both permanent and off road, bike made tracks to explore. Once we had enough walking, and the dogs had had enough stick chasing, we headed back for a cuppa in the sunshine. We didn't have any food (but we saw other people eating and it looked good) as we had lunch planned elsewhere, but the cappuccino's and tea were very good indeed, and it is just a short walk - 50 yards - back to the car park.

This was a surprisingly good café in the lovely Tehidy Country Park. The scones, clotted cream and jam were some of the best we had ever tasted. The scones were wonderfully light and the amount of clotted cream was impressive. Staff were friendly and helpful and because of the glass all around the café you get wonderful views from everywhere.

Go here if you go for a walk here. I had smoked mackerel pate- delicious, husband had soup- also v good, and daughter had cheese sandwich- very generous with the cheese. Cakes looked very good & will try and go for afternoon tea next time!

Decided to visit here following a trip to Portreath. Extremely friendly swan, birdlife and squirrel. The squirrel greeted us, tried to inspect our picnic by going in my bag, stalked us as we set off on our walk and then climbed my husband's legs! Our local squirrels usually run away!

Queríamos una baguette y un buen té taza, desde una tetera, y eso es lo que conseguimos del amable personal

Fuimos con una señora ciega y su perro guía para el almuerzo después de un paseo en el parque. Cada uno tenía una baguette, uno con atún y queso, otra con jamón y queso. Elegimos patatas fritas con nuestros almuerzos. Ambos disfrutamos de la comida y el café estaba limpio y brillante. El servicio era amable y eficiente. Un día soleado divertido!

I visited this cafe after a long walk around the woods with my family. We all had hot soup and a roll and a cup of tea. It was mid range pricing but the service was very professional.Good choice of light meals would definitely return.

Had a hot chocolate and a caramel slice, the caramel slice was awful the worst I have ever tasted, with them being homemade makes it worse, hot chocolate was "okay" drinkable.

Came across the cafe after an exhausting 8 mile walk. We sat down outside in the sun and had tea and scones. Both very good.

Stopped here several times during walks. Not pretentious - What you see is what you get. Hot drinks, cakes and snacks to an expected quality for where you are.

Went for lunch with a blind lady and her guide dog. The service was efficient and friendly. The food was good value and tasty and it was an enjoyable end to a walk in the wood. The main problem was no outdoor bins for dog poo. I had to take mine into the ladies to find a bin. Not good for so many dog walkers and there were abandoned poo bags all over the park.

Visited here on the off chance for an extra walk with the dogs. Signage for walks a little unclear, but park is lovely. Cafe was very clean, if a little expensive. Service ok, plenty of water bowls for dogs, and seating inside and outside. Loos very dirty and smelly, not sure if these are maintained by the cafe though, as everything else spotless.

Ideally located in the middle of the woods although you might have to search to find it. Close to the pond with seating inside and out. Cakes are 1st class. Recommended.

We called in at this cafe with our dog, half way through our walk in Tehidy woods. The cakes were delicious and well priced. There was plenty of clean drinking water for the dog.

Loved walking around the lake, cheeky squirrels so take some peanuts but do not let small children feed them as squirrels do not know th4ey are children

Went on a walk in the woods and then came here with a blind lady and her guide dog. We both had hot baguettes which were good value and came with side salad and coleslaw. We both chose melted cheese (brie for me and cheddar for her) which tasted good and filled us both up.

At the end of a walk around woods, it is nice to pop in for a pot of tea and some of the homemade cakes. The tables outside are surrounded by trees and you can hear all the birds singing in the trees above. Too cool for that and there are tables inside. Water supplied for dogs, a stream nearby and very clean toilets in the block too.They also have hot snacks and these are worth trying. I always stop off here, an essential part of the woods experience.

A worthy end to a computer around the lovely tehidy woods. This cafe provides lovely drinks, snacks and food to round off your visit to this wildlife infested wood. I usually favour the hot chocolate with everything. Not overpriced.

The Cafe is situated in the beautiful woods complete with its own small lake and plenty of birds and wild life. After a choice of three or four different length walks you can come back to the Cafe which will serve up light meals/snacks, drinks and ice cream. The staff are very helpful and the prices are reasonable. You also have a choice of sitting outside or inside. A parking area is available but it can get very busy during school holidays and peak summer periods.

What's more enjoyable after a nice walk through the park than to have lunch if just a cup of tea and a cake at this little gem in the woods. Access into the place is easy but unfortunately space is limited. The food ranges from cold sandwiches to burgers and drinks. Enjoy.

Tehidy woods is a great place for the family and a little gem of a cafe. Lovely food and a nice place to relax (indoor and outside).

Tehidy Country Park is some way out of Camborne with no public transport to get you there, so driving is the only option for many people. There is free car parking but spaces can be hard to find in good weather. As for the cafe, this is bright and informal and very family friendly. The menu is not extensive, but soup, cakes etc are readily available. put together the cafe and the park and you have a very pleasant alternative to the nearby coastal attractions.

After walking around the Country Park this is a welcome pit stop. In little expensive in my view but not too bad. The place is clean and tidy with a good selection of menu choices, it is a shame that they close early (4pm) now in October but the weather is currently better than it is normally

My wife and I went to a Birthday dinner party last night at Cygnets Restaurant at Tehidy Park Golf Club, we drove down a tree lined driveway to the car park plenty of spaces available, to the left of the building is the restaurant, on entering you walk into a very nice lounge area with bar plenty of comfortable seating, the staff let us meet and greet our fellow guests get our drinks and enjoy a catch up chat. One of the staff then came over with the menus which I must say was very comprehensive with a choice of about six starters and mains and deserts with coffe and mints to finish, we all ordered our starters and mains and about 20 minutes later were shown to the table. I can only say that the food was delicious plenty of it and very tasty, the staff were very attentive all evening nothing was to much trouble for them. The cost of the meal and coffee and mints was £19.95 per person great value in pleasant surroundings, we will be returning soon.

...But we were there for lunch so we ordered their special for the day - mackerel pate and brown toast. It was just what it said on the menu with the addition of a small side salad. Perfectly delicious. My husband had the cheese salad which was also delicious. The cup of tea I had was bright and fresh and I would definitely go back for a Cream Tea as the scones looked perfect and the tea was very good.It was lovely to be able to stop half way through our walk and enjoy an al fresco lunch with the dog. Perfect and at £6.50pp for a lunch and drink (total £26.70 for four) not overly expensive.

We didn't use the café, except for the loos and the seats. The café itself is clean and the loos are accessible.The country park is lovely and peaceful. Take some nuts as it's possible to hand-feed squirrels! They're so friendly, though be careful not to get a finger bitten by an over excited squirrel, as my brother in law did!We cycled around some of the park, but the cycling isn't as impressive as that at Lanhydrock.There's a fairly good amount of parking and the walkways are relatively flat, wide and easy to access.

This place is hidden within the woods but once you find it, I suggest you get yourself a cuppa and cake....well worth it. All stuff is fresh and very tasty. You can sit inside or out and it is located only a short stroll from the car park....very nice.

We visited here on Bank Holiday Monday after a wander round the woods. Decided to stop for lunch. We both had the same "hot baguette" with brie, cranberry and bacon filling. Neither of us were very impressed. Firstly they were not "hot" and I only had one strip of bacon in mine. To charge £5.40 for two 2" pieces of baguette I thought extortionate! Coffee was OK.The cakes however did look lovely although we did not try these. Might stop for coffee again but not to eat.

Having not visited the park for many years we visited on Easter Monday and had coffee in the cafe. Good efficient service. In fact so good we have been back 3 times in the week. Had lunch yesterday. Excellent!!!

I've been here a few times now, great place to stop for a coffee and cake after a walk around the woods. Sat in the garden area due to having the dog and had a late afternoon Sunday snack. Looks like they do soups to so may just have to treat myself to one of those next time I'm down that way.

We often go to Tehidy Country Park & after a long walk in winter or summer we always finish our visit to this lovely little cafe.The staff are very obliging,the food is excellent & the setting is beautiful. The cafe & outside eating area are always spotless.The sandwiches snacks & cake are well presented & very good value. What more could you ask.

Spotlessly clean, with a maximum 5 on Scores on the Doors, the official food hygiene rating site, this café serves excellent food in generous portions, and it's far from expensive. It's also service with a smile from the pleasant, friendly ladies running it, even when customers include small, lively children! I hope they maintain their high standards.Cheese lovers should really try the cheese plate. Mine had the best Brie I've ever tasted.Will we be back? You bet we will!
