We only called in for drinks and perhaps a bit of cake. Hot drinks were lovely, couldn't fault . But no cake or sweet treats seemed to be in offer which was disappointing. Owner loves a sing song to 70s prog rock, quite comical! Not sure we would be back but probably more because we didn't find a lot on Robins Hood Bay.

We called in for breakfast and it was honestly the best full breakfast I’ve ever had. I had the full breakfast and my friends had bacon sarnies and we all said it was it delicious. The fresh bread is so good! Amazing little place. Chilled vibe, playing excellent tunes, really good food and friendly and helpful staff. And loved that the chef shouted thanks and goodbye from his kitchen as we were leaving. Highly recommend.

Tea, toast and post is something different from your traditional cafes in the quaint village of Robin hoods bay, it’s not just a cafe but is a lively cafe with great music with live bands on various occasions and superb friendly staff with a warm welcoming atmosphere where you arrive as strangers but leave as friends Unfortunately due to the Coronavirus situation it’s only doing a takeaway service which is a shame but it’s still a must to visit. I have visited on more than one occasion my latest visit I ordered a coffee and bacon and egg sandwich which was excellent, the coffee was proper fresh filter coffee that was freshly made and is made to your preference light medium or dark depending on how you like it,the coffee was piping hot which you don’t get at some places and the bacon and egg sandwich was first class a proper sized sandwich with plenty of egg and bacon it was made with fresh cut bread and fresh ingredients the bacon and egg were hot and tasty. Most importantly they wrapped it in foil to keep it warm. If you are at Robin Hood bay call in it’s definitely worth a visit I can strongly recommend it ian Oulton

We walked around for a while looking for somewhere to have breakfast and most places were closed. Another cafe was open a long the road however we previously had a bad experience with customer service and noticed other people had the same issues (Elle Estelle’s). Tea toast and post was just opening the doors as we walked past and they greeted us with a huge smile and very chirpy and friendly attitudes, they explained they’d be 2 minutes to get set up with their COVID procedures and took our orders, again, with smiling faces. The ‘best ever bacon sarnie’ certainly lived up to its name, we can’t really explain how amazing the sandwich is and we will definitely be returning! 100% recommend to any visitors of RHB!!!

My wife and I recently visited Tea, Toast, and Post for breakfast. The service was limited to takeout only due to the current pandemic. However, this did not detract from our experience and the quality of food we received. The two staff members were extremely pleasant and their cheery characters definitely added to the experience. We ordered two breakfast sandwiches and two hot drinks.... all of which were thoroughly enjoyable. A vibrant vibe is given off in this establishment from its musical roots. Relaxed wouldn't be a correct description as there's a lot going on in this packed out little cafe, but the welsh rarebit, enormous scone and coffee were all delicious. We had high hopes of this café and I must say our food was all fairly good . There were 4 of us plus dog and baby and stroller so quite a squeeze in a small café. Quite a quirky interior and we thought we would put music on the juke box. My daughter put two songs on but the radio then came on so we asked if they could turn it down until the song finished, which was fine. Then my husband went to put on another song and the man said he couldn't use the juke box as they had no licence. This seemed odd as no notice on it and no mention before when money was put in. So it rather put us off and we thought the attitude was not very friendly.

I have no idea what the food or service is like in this cafe as I was not given the chance or indeed the encouragement to sample it. My husband sat down at a table and was asked for the size of the party but was not afforded any time to explain that some of our family members would be joining him. The owner/manager was very short with him when he began his explanation interrupting him saying ‘that is not what I asked ‘ and we were then advised to come back later as the cafe was busy. We were very disappointed at his poor attitude- whilst we could see that the cafe was quite full, my husband had found us a table for four which would have suited us. However we felt very unwelcome and when we turned to leave another couple were welcomed to the seat my husband had sat at! When this was relayed to our daughter she said she’d had exactly the same experience a few weeks earlier and had marched her children out because of the rude and inhospitable attitude of the the man in charge.

The location of the town is picture perfect with plenty of cafes and eateries but as we only wanted a late morning coffee, we popped in here, spotting plenty of seats and a very tempting display of 'scons'...or is that scones? While my husband went for a pot of Yorkshire tea, I chose a cafetiere of coffee (nice to be asked for my choice of medium or high roast) and we shared a triangle shaped fruit scone, dusted with icing sugar and served with two butter pats - absolutely delicious with a rock bun like texture, I thought, but obviously fresh - a very welcome change from the dry, tasteless offerings in some places, The food on the blackboard menu all looked enticing - I'd return in a heartbeat to this Yorkshire gem! Lovely atmosphere and welcome from a genial, amusing host - try asking him about 'naming' his scones! Highly recommended.

A very pleasant environment with table service. Drinks were brought to us promptly. Food, although not tasted, looked wonderful. A customer on an adjacent table tucked into the biggest doorstep buttie I have ever seen.

Stopped in for coffee and cakes before we went exploring the beach in Robin Hoods Bay. Coffee was very nice, freshly roasted and brewed, cakes were also tasty, you can tell they were really fresh. Free wifi as well.

Great place used to be the old post office. Had the bacon sandwich with egg. Great coffee asked if we wanted decaf or medium or strong. Most places you have what you are given. Would recommend great service with a smile.

We found this place to have brunch. Dog friendly and free wifi! Quite small inside but we managed to find room for 7 people. Plenty of choice of food/drink. I went for the bruschetta however I slightly regretted ordering it as it was just loads and loads of chopped tomato on thick white bread with a side salad of tomato!! I thought there may have been more to the bruschetta and more flavour! My dad had the big bacon sandwich and said it was great! Lovely friendly staff Good value for money. Great atmosphere.

First visit. First impression delightful location. Extremely poor / processed quality food (not uncommon with many cafes/tea shops). Very small slice of cake and eclair with equally small dollop ice cream, cup of tea and mug coffee cost £12.70. As with the venue people seem nice. Accept dogs (which is great). Suggest review and improve quality of food and presentation. Leaving a used cigarette ashtray on table not indicative of professional service.

We are staying locally a d wish we had found this pub earlier in the week. A warm welcome a d great food. My husband had chicken pie and i had the sea bass. Good portions, well cooked and piping hot. We had bread and butter pudding and rice pudding afterwards. Again both excellent 👌.

My wife uses a walker. We had never been to the Deli before so were unsure how to proceed. The staff completely ignored us. It was as if we were not there, or invisible. Even as we walked out of the Deli, no staff member offered any acknowledgement of us!

Gorgeous place to come to and is always on our list as a ' must go to'when we are in Filey. Beautiful setting and everything here is really delicious. The lemon meringue tart and coffee cake are to die for. It's lovely sitting outside and enjoying the sunshine. Sadly it was raining today and as we have a dog we couldn't go in, there was some seating under a canopy for the ice creams but sadly for us just a bit too chilly to sit out. It is cash only so that is something to always remember when visiting.

I booked this venue for my son's 40th birthday. Nothing was too much trouble, and they even offered to step in when we didn't think the disco was going to come! Lovey and clean, excellent room.
