Called in here when visiting the garden and enjoyed our platters so much we called in again, just for lunch. There is not a massive range of dishes but what there was was good

Disappointed in such a small choice selection which was a shame as this could be such a special wee place. Maybe we just picked the wrong day to go but....

A lovely cream tea with a large warm scone, delicious jam and a small "taster" of cake as well. Add in the fact that the individual pots of tea are a good size and you can get two cups worth out of them and I would say that this is a great spot. A bonus is that it is directly off of the car park so you don't have to pay any entrance fees to get to it.

The Tea Shed was the only thing good about our trip to the gardens. The cream tea was truly excellent !

Great place for a cream tea. Quality of food excellent with fresh cream and jam to accompany the warm home made scones. Portions are very good with 2 scones and a small cake served together with local tea. The setting is very pleasant and peaceful on the edge of the gardens and with option to sit in, out or in between. Our second visit so far this holiday

Close to the beach but wildly overpriced for really basic fare and their “artisan gelato” is disgusting. We tried three flavours and they were all terrible, but the chocolate was so atrocious we couldn’t finish it. Ask yourself when the last time you didn’t finish an ice cream was!

On holiday for a week and we visited 3 times. First time was for a drink only, second for an evening meal and thenthirdnfir Sunday lunch. On all occasions, service was friendly, attentive (without being in your face or false) and courteous. Our evening meal was a beautiful piece of grilled haddock in a very tasty sauce with vegetables and potatoes. We also ordered a side of truffled mac n cheese. It was absolutely amazing. Sunday lunch was probably the best I've ever eaten as a pub dining experience and I've eaten a fair few in my 59 years. We opted for the 3 meat version of beef, pork and turkey. The vegetable selection was interesting and perfectly cooked. The giant yorkshire pudding was delicious but for me, the roast potatoes and gravy were the jewels in the very large crown. There was no room for pudding but on our evening visit, we did share the amaretto chocolate torte, which was fantastic 😀. For the quality and portion sizes, I would say The Pityme Inn is excellent value for money.

Had a lovely meal,Rump Steak& Croft Burger, then sweets to finish. Great food and service. Shame the weather wasn't a little better as we would have sat outside after our meal.

Tasty - stopped in to grab a takeaway sausage roll and iced bun. Sausage roll was excellent and will be returning! Coffee was also good. Easy free car parking outside.

The staff were very friendly. The hot drinks were alright and the cakes were alright. They didn't rush us. The whole atmosphere was really nice and lovely. I didn't have to raise my voice to speak to my boyfriend who has a hearing impairment which is a hearing aid.
