I regularly visit the Tea Cosy with my partner, and today visited with my adult son. I have to say that on every visit I have received excellent, friendly service and been provided with lovely food. The meals are cooked to order and very well presented. I would recommend a visit to this lovely place.

Tucked away in a courtyard this is a real find although admittedly not the sort of venue I'd normally visit. But when you father takes you, and explains it was a favourite when mom was alive, it was worth a visit. Pretty extensive menu for the size of the place with hot and cold sandwiches as well as specials such as an all day breakfast on offer. They could however with a few more veggie options to what they currently offer but that is just a personal preference. Service was prompt and friendly while prices for two sandwiches with coffees was just over a tenner. Stunning value for money as the sandwiches were enormous and came with salad. Cash only. Bear in mind it's cash only

We visit the Tea Cosy every time we travel down to this part of the country and decided it was time to give a review. This little tea shop is wonderful. The food is exceptional, the hot food is made to order and the cakes and deserts are all home made. The apple pies and mince pies are to die for!!! Linda and Carol are really friendly and helpful, but we still struggle to understand "owamya"!!! They are lovely people with lovely smiles and lovely Black Country humour. Nothing is too much trouble here. It comes as no surprise that they have regulars who have been visiting the Tea Cosy for almost 16 years. Look forward to our next visit.

Warm welcome. Reasonably priced food and absolutely ideal for a quick snack. There is a small room upstairs which takes an overflow. Plenty of parking on large forecourt.

After many visits on a Saturday lunchtime I thought the tea cosy is worth a review. Tucked away off the main road, the tea cosy has a nice menu for breakfast or lunch. Friendly staff and nice surroundings ensure a relaxed visit. A few tables are outside which are just perfect in nice weather. Plenty of free parking.

I visit this lovely little tea room often and can honestly say their breakfasts are the best you'll find! There are other things which sound delicious on the menu, but I can't be tempted from the beautifully cooked breakfasts, which have high quality food, with the most delicious toast. The staff give a warm welcome and ensure your visit is a lovely experience.

I cannot recommend this little gem enough! It's such a friendly, relaxing place to visit. There's a real community spirit here where everyone is welcomed, other customers talk to you and tell me that there's been lots of friendships formed here. The food is really tasty and fresh and the cakes are to die for!, all home made! The prices are excellent for the portions and quality of the meal. There's little gifts and cards you can buy and recently a book loaning service has been started. Linda (the owner) told us that they're setting up a book club and other clubs such as craft groups. They have recently revamped upstairs which is absolutely lovely! This special place will be my weekly haunt! Highly recommend the place.

Visit this little tea shop for a very friendly welcome from the staff. The food is excellent value, especially the thick, buttered toast. Just one tip...leave room for the delicious homemade puds. Well worth the journey. Will go more often now I'm retired.

Everything we've had has been excellent including the freshly made sandwiches, baked potatoes, soup or breakfasts. The tea and coffee (especially with cream) are quite superb. My wife and Myself strongly recommend a visit - you will not be disappointed - and further more the cleanliness and staff are top class.W Roberts

My friend and I visited The Tea Cosy after a recommendation from another friend. I must say we were not disappointed! The staff were very welcoming and there was a very friendly atmosphere from both the staff and other customers. The Tea Cosy is a quaint place in a lovely setting. There was a variety of choices on the menu from breakfast, toasties and jacket potatoes then a tempting choice of desert, all home made. I chose a jacket with crab and prawn, this was served with a good sized portion of salad. My friend could not resist the breakfast, this was served with two thick slices of fresh crusty toast. I then had the home made apple pie with custard- delicious! My friend opted for the carrot cake with cream, again a hefty portion which tasted delicious! They serve a variety of teas, coffee and cold drinks. To top the lot the prices were very good, especially for the quality of food and the portion sizes. We will definitely be returning with more friends. I cannot recommend this lovely little place enough!!!!

We've just returned from an over night stay. This is a lovely place to stay. Friendly. We paid for breakfast and it was very nice. Well presented. Only down side was we stayed in the Westgate room and it smelt of smoke. Someone had obviously been smoking out of the window. Definetly will return just in better weather. We stayed Sat 7th Dec with all those gales. Not a long walk into Town. But it was on that night due to the weather.
