Taylor Walker in Kensington and Chelsea

Después de visitar un par de bares que eran demasiado caros o de clase alta, finalmente encontramos a Taylor Walker. Un pequeño y agradable bar que tenía un gran barman, Jamie, que era eficiente y encantador. Nos sentamos en el bar escuchando al resto de los invitados cantar sus tripas y realmente nos divertimos. Muy recomendable.

Lo visitamos el día de nuestra llegada. Después de 30 horas de vuelos y escalas y 4 Aeropuertos nos atendieron súper amigable mente excelente comida y servicio rápido acompañado de tu cerveza favorita.

Ik zocht Taylor Walker op de Shakespears Head 7250 bij Carnaby Street maar vond die niet op tripadvisor. Maar als je daar buiten een tafeltje kunt bemachtigen zit je werkelijk geweldig. Neem een biertje en een favorite platter met mini hamburgers en andere kleine hapjes. Lekker en voldoende voor de lunch. Personeel niet geweldig maar wel een mooie kroeg. Natuurlijk erg toeristisch. Zoek je dat wat minder, kijk dan naar mijn beoordeling van de birdcage.

A menos que has estado aquí antes de que puedas pensar que hay sólo un nivel para comer y beber, pero cuando una camarera viene a su mesa que necesitas ir arriba para comer. Así que salir de una puerta lateral a un conjunto de escaleras (aún dentro de un edificio) y sube a encontrar quizás 12 o así mesas. Parece que sólo hay una camarera y su ayudante a atender a todo el mundo. Usted decide qué mesa que quieras y sentarse. Ahora, había un cartel que decía abajo los pedidos debe ser colocado en el bar (muy confuso, ya que nos dijeron que teníamos que ir arriba para comer), así que después de sentarse y nadie viene a nuestra mesa, nos fuimos al bar de arriba donde nos dijeron que alguien vendría a nuestra mesa para tomar nuestro pedido. En vez de arrastrar esa revisión, simplemente tardamos una eternidad en lugar nuestro pedido, conseguir la comida y pagar. Una camarera estaba ejecutando este sus piernas fuera tratando de cuidar de todo el mundo. Necesitan más ayuda. Pedí pescado y patatas fritas y mi esposa tenía un pastel de pollo y champiñones. El pescado estaba recocido y seco aunque mi esposa dice plato estaba mal. Después de esperar varios minutos para bill, finalmente fui hasta el bar y nos dieron la factura y pagamos. Yo tenía tenía ganas de un pescado y patatas fritas, auténtica comida, pero esto no fue todo. No recomendaría este lugar.

FISH&CHIPSを食べたくてランチの時間に訪問しました。スタッフがフレンドリーで食事中も気を遣ってくれました。FISH&CHIPSは写真の通りボリュームがあります。ビーンズはそのままかマッシュするか好みを聞いてもらえました。食事の提供に少し時間がかかりましたが、熱々でおいしかったです。

Classico pub inglese con bancone e tavoli in legno tutto molto british...atmosfera accogliente per bere una birra o mangiare. Dall'hamburger all'insalata tutto fresco e molto buono. Meglio bere una birra che prendere l'acqua...Viene a costare meno. Comunque vale la pena andarci essendo una catena ne troverete in ogni angolo della citta'.

Anche questo locale si trova, praticamente, di fronte all'uscita della fermata Earl's Court della Piccadilly Line! Abbiamo provato quello che il "piatto forte" inglese. Una porzione, a dire poco, ABBONDANTE! IL tutto annaffiato da una birra rossa per poco più di 19 sterline. A mio modesto parere tutt'altro che caro. Inoltre ci lavorano tanti giovani connazionali. Un motivo di più per fargli visita.

I booked a table for myself and my 3 teenage daughters. The restaurant is on the first floor. There was a couple at our table who were ejected, 6 other tables seating 5 or 6 were occupied by couples drinking beer only. Families of 4 or 5 were arriving constantly to eat but were refused, as no tables were available! 2 young men were doing their best to take orders but it was obvious they had zero training. Unbelievable! I'm sure that turnover could be increased by 30% if a decent manager was in place. We waited an hour for one of the men to 'dare' take our order, the food arrived quickly after that and was more than decent.

Wandering from our hotel we happened upon this pub in Earls Court. It was a very busy pub, it was after eight in the evening by this time and we managed to find a table that was free. The place was packed. We ordered food, which arrived very quickly indeed. I had the Cod Goujon and chips and my other half had the Lamb Shank Pie. To be fair, mine was okay but he was a little disappointed with his veg that accompanied the pie, a small spoonful of peas and chopped carrots. Otherwise all was good.

This pub is very convenient, just mere steps from the Earl's Court station. The pub was not crowded during our visit. It was not clear that we had to order food at the counter, so we sat at the table where menus were displayed. We finally flagged down a staff after a 10 minute wait, and was told that we needed to go to the counter to order, but since the pub is not busy, he will service us at the table. Our first night dinner in London, so Hubby and I both ordered the traditional fish and chips. The food was so horribly bland. Even the tartar sauce had no seasoning. We incorrectly assumed that since we were in a pub, there would be adults, but a family with two toddlers arrived and took the table next to us. These toddlers kept climbing up and down the shared banquet seating and screaming. Needless to say, it was the least enjoyable dinner we had in London in both taste and atmosphere. Not to mentioned, it was pretty pricy at £31.08 for two tasteless fish and chips and no alcohol.

Vi spiste frokost den første dag på denne hyggelige pub ikke langt fra Earls Courts station. Der var stille og roligt, og vi fik en super lækker frokost. En kæmpe fisk til fish and chips og en dejlig burger med lækre løgringe. Deres fish and chips kan virkelig anbefales. Næste gang fik vi scampi and chips, lækkert, og steak ale pie, hvor det var meget tydeligt, at deres gravy (sovs) var lavet på en kunstig bouillon. Ellers lækkert, og igen med fin betjening. Vi ville så også spise på denne pub på vores allersidste aften, da den ligger tæt på vores hotel, og vi var trætte. Det skulle vi ikke have gjort, for der var fodboldkamp, og derfor selvfølgelig en masse larm. Der burde de have haft noget mere personale, for vi ventede næsten 40 minutter på en bagt kartoffel med lidt spredt bacon, klasket til med mayonnaise, samt et kedeligt stykke kød med en endnu kedeligere sovs. Bestemt ikke en oplevelse. Desuden manglede de løgringe, vi bestilte ved siden af, og så var det også den forkerte øl vi fik. Vi skulle nok have nøjes med at komme den første gang til fish and chips.

Nous sommes arrivés à 4, un soir de match (Manchester City/Monaco), nous connaissions déjà les soirées match en France, mais là, c’était étonnant… Nous avons passé notre commande au bar, car les soirs de match, on passe commande au bar et on vous sert à table. Le barman, ayant compris que nous étions français, nous a demandé quelle équipe nous supportions… Un peu hésitant face à tous ces Anglais et leurs pintes remplies de bière, nous avons répondu, bien évidemment, même si lyonnais de cœur et de sang, nous avons crié « MONACO » !!! bien sûr !!! Et là… Oh, quelle surprise, tout le monde supportait Monaco, on huait quand c’était Manchester qui marquait, on applaudissait quand c’est Monaco qui marquait… Bon, le score n’a pas été présent mais quelle ambiance, avec un fish and chips très bien servi, une bière correcte, nous avons passé une très bonne soirée… Le seul bémol, c’est que les 4 plats ne soient pas arrivés en même temps… Mais cet établissement est surprenant et intéressant.

We'd spent the morning exploring the collections of the Petrie Museum and needed to find something close by as we had only a short lunch break before heading over to the Egypt Exploration Society. We saw the sign outside this pub that said it served traditional British food so decided to give it a try. I was surprised that it had so few customers at noon but we found the staff very friendly. I decided to try the BBQ Pulled Pork topped jacket and it arrived fairly quickly accompanied with a nice tossed salad with dressing. It was quite filling and reasonably priced.

De entrante, queso camembert, con cebolla confitada y tostaditas (6,49 Libras), el famoso fish & chips una ración grande (14,69), 1 pinta Guinness (4,75) y 1 copa de vino Pinot Noir italiano (7,79). La comida estaba bien. Buen ambiente y el servicio correcto.

Sono stato in questo locale più volte durante il mio soggiorno a Londra. Servizio sempre efficiente e molto gentile. A cena il menù è molto vasto con tutti i piatti tipici inglesi. Io ho mangiato un fish and chips molto buono! Vasta scelta di birre. Ottima ance la colazione tradizionale inglese che ho avuto il piacere di provare! Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo

Le restaurant qui est situé à l'étage est à mon goût très jolie, la décoration est typique de l'Angleterre ou de l'idée qu'on s'en fait. Les plats tiennent la route sans être exceptionnel, et la cuisson de la viande (saignante pour moi) est maîtrisée. Le serveur est accueillant et malgré le fait qu'il soit seul les plats arrivent à table assez rapidement. En bref un pub à visité si vous êtes dans le coin de Earls Court.

L'accueil a été plutôt agréable, dés que l'on a eu une table ca a été une douche froide. Erreur dans la commande, nous étions 5 3 avaient fini de manger quand les 2 derniers ont été servis, et pour couronner le tout toute notre famille a été malade toute la nuit pour une note plutôt salée... à éviter

The meal is served upstairs and although, the food tasted good and arrived in a timely fashion there were not many people eating. The main issue is the staff, there is one woman and she worked hard and did a good job considering she took orders, brought the food and drink, as well as settle the bill, it is slow, why have only one staff member with so many patrons.

We had bad experiences at every Taylor Walker pub we visited while in London and wished we spent our time and money elsewhere. After our first week we would check what chain the pub belong to before going in. Wish we knew beforehand.

Went here for english breakfast with friends. Coffe was decent, but the food was far below expectation. The scrambled eggs were boring and tasteless and the bacon too hard and dry. My friends croisant were just hard. So just go somewhere else for breakfast.

If you judge by the images, you will be disappointed. Only stop here if your feet cannot carry you past Taylor's.

Not particularly good, but I reserve the one star for those truly terrible places. If you can find another place to have your breakfast, do so. If not, stay clear of croissants and only have fried egg and bacon.

Teniamos antojo de probar unos fish and chips tipicos de la ciudad y una buena cerveza y no nos equivocamos. Este lugar fue el primer lugar que visitamos en nuestra llegada a Londres. Tiene una gran variedad de cervezas locales y de otros lugares.

Assolutamente è da assaggiare il lamb shank shepherd's pie che ho trovato deliziosa. Il locale accogliente , però peccato per il bagno che era talmente sporco che non si poteva entrare .

Used this pub for breakfast due to hotel only doing continental breakfasts. The Full English for me and the Veggie for my wife were very adequate served by a friendly couple of barstaff. The pub is in the middle of Earls Court but wasn't too busy at the time of day visited. Price was good for the london area as well.

We ate at two different locations of Taylor Walkers just because the food is so good. The fish and chips was in my opinion just okay but the meat pies are outstanding. This a a pub so it tends to be loud and crowded but neverlheless it is worth going to for the food as well.

Op het eten was weinig aan te merken. De pubstyle is gewoon leuk, hoort er een keertje bij als je in London bent. Op de kaart uiteraard veel fish & chips gerechten, maar ook wat wraps en sandwiches, allemaal niks mis mee. Alleen de bediening was erbarmelijk. Ongeïnteresseerd en onoplettend. Er ontbrak een compleet gerecht bij het uit serveren. Zelfs daar werden ze niet warm of koud van.

Many many pubs belongs to Taylor Walker chain and you should avoid them. Real ales are real ales but expensive. Food is only average and specially this place was poor service. You will bet more value to your money to visit other places that Taylor Walker pubs... many belong to some chain but that is to worst in my opinion.

Tipico pub inglese con pietanze inglesi. Buoni i piatti e bella l'atmosfera del pub. Locale pulito e molto carino, personale cordiale. Molto divertente seguire le partite di calcio dell'Europeo all'interno del locale

You need to order at the bar. Nice food, Large range of drinks and okay service. Nice setting. EU 2016 is projected on tv's here.

Pub in stile inglese, parte di una catena e quindi senza quella unicità tipica ma sicuramente da provare. Offrono del buon cibo ed i servizio è eccellente. Abbiamo consumato qui un paio di colazioni che son risultate essere abbondanti e saporite anche se non abbiamo trovato disponibili tutti i piatti inseriti nel menu!

When you get to England, the 1st thing that comes to mind about eating is to have fish&chips; and a beer. That is exactly what we decided to have late in the afternoon on the day of arrival. We each ordered a pint of beer (1739; we like light beer) and the classic fish-&chips.; Don't be surprised if you have to pay in advance but that really did not bother us.

Bello il pub, molto tipico, panini e pies particolarmente gustose. Atmosfera caratteristica a prezzi contenuti: 15£ a testa per panino e birra alla spina! (Ovviamente assaggiata prima di sceglierla)

Lugar agradable con varios ambientes. Camareros my amables. Amplia variedad de cervezas y comida de pub. Fish & chips correcto y abundante. No es caro.

La nota migliore di questo locale è la Pale Ale 1730, eccezionale. Per il resto lasciate perdere sandwiches vari e puntate su hamburgers. Non è certo regalato, però ricordatevi sempre che siete in una delle zone esclusive di Londra. L'ambiente è molto caratteristico e tipico e poi ha il vantaggio innegabile di essere subito fuori dalla stazione di Earl's Court. È quindi una buona risorsa se non si pretende molto. Come sempre per ordinare non aspettate al tavolo, non verrà nessuno, alzatevi e andate alla cassa da soli.

We stopped in this pub right after a group of school children arrived. We thought it would take forever to get our meals, but the service was very quick and efficient. We order the regular fish and chips which was with cod and it was very good. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting London.

It's a middle of the road pub, good selection of beers and lagers. Not tried the food but there was a good selection to choose from. This pub won't set your world alight, but it's ok. They have sports showing all the time too.

Was a Nice place for our first dinner. Some nice drinks, though a bit of a shock it was all pint sized (no complaints though). Ordered some F&Chips; (as you ought to) and the misses ordered a steak pie. Steak pie was amazingly flavourfull but my fish was a bit bland. Good and nice service.

This has 2 options to eat, downstairs normal pub and upstairs grill. We visited grill, open at 5 pm. Very limited menu, only grill/Terrance menu. There was only one extremely nice italian girl working all alone, running but managing to keep everything in order and without extra waiting. Portions were quite small and price was not meeting quality. There was noting wrong with food or taste, too little, too expensive.

When I walked in with large group my expectations were low, The menu was small and nothing I really liked. I decided to order a fish & chips with curry sauce. I did not receive my curry sauce and tucked into my chips. The fish was about 90% Better 10% fish. When I receive fish I expect fish. Staff were lazy and took 10 minutes to give me my curry sauce. When I received it it was cold. Anyway My auntie complained to the staff. We demanded to see the manager. The manager came in and made up a sob story about how he had to leave his kids to come to the resteraunt. Although we received money off out order I still need to tell you not to go to this resteraunt.

Siamo state al ristorante che si trova al piano superiore del pub. Atmosfera cupa e un po' datata. Il cibo niente di speciale, abbiamo preso fish and chips (pesce buono, ma il contorno da rivedere) e un hamburger classico con patatine (carne di scarsa qualità). Conto abbastanza caro per quello che abbiamo mangiato. Nel compenso la cameriera, una ragazza italiana, è stata gentilissima nonostante ci fossero tutti i tavoli occupati e doveva occuparsi del servizio da sola.

Never been here before. I enjoyed the pie, it reminded me of my mums home made food. The waiters are polite. The restaurant was clean and no sticky tables!

We have just ordered our Main meals here after choosing this out of a few pubs as it looked nice... The lady who served us wakes straight out for a coffee and cigarette with a friend outside, then walked back in and handled 4 lots of cutlery by the eating end of the forks and cutting ends of the knives... Very unhygienic. Especially for non smokers.

A good local pub - usual range of food and drinks etc - but very friendly staff and a good crowd. Good for a mix of people and occasions.

We visited this place few days ago food ok but not great steak was overcooked and salad dident have any seasoning at all and we ask three times but they forget to bring for us,we would not come back for food but maybe just for drinks food is not nice .

We only drink beer. We dont eat. But this pub is very good looking. They have cca 10 kinds of beer. They have STAROPRAMEN, KOZEL czech beers too. Guiness beer -4,50 pounds

Nel mio soggiorno a gennaio 2016 sono andata li a fare colazione non volendo farla in albergo. Il personale è molto simpatico e gentile , se vi piace la tipica colazione inglese ve lo consiglio. Ottimo anche per una birra in compagnia.

Siamo state in questo pub tipicamente inglese durante il nostro soggiorno a Londra ...il locale è a 2 minuti dalla metro Earl's Court e dal nostro hotel (Ibis styles london Kensington ) .

Il pub é in perfetto english style, accogliente, caldo e con un servizio estremamente professionale.

Sotto pub, bello e molto inglese dove bere birra e magari seguire una partita di calcio, sopra ristorante ma con evidenti limiti di efficienza nonostante la buona volontà delle cameriere.

um PUB na avenida próximo a estação do metrô, no caminho para o Hotel Ibis, uma opção razoável, com preços acessíveis e atendimento mediano, as bebidas são servidas a contento, mas as porções e sanduíches demoram p ser feitos. Banheiros limpos.

Once again I have to have Stake Ale Pie By Taylos Walkers. This pub was very nice to have dinner and get your stomack full quickly. Nice staff and good atmosphere. Good sizes portion and tasty food.

The coffee, pork nachos and Camembert were lovely, but my mushroom soup had no mushrooms in! Very friendly staff and comfortable place to sit and recover from busy London!

We happen to have a Xmas lunch at Taylor Walker, Earls Court but the food was just of an average standard however, the menu and drinks prices are touching the roof - too expensive! I will not recommend this place to anyone.

Um pub com uma apresentação bem interessante mas a comida eu achei meio decepcionante. Além da grande demora do atendimento, o hambúrguer que eu pedi não estava tão gostoso.

Un locale molto accogliente,pub al piano terra,ristorante griglieria al piano rialzato.La sala da pranzo è arredata con tappezzerie in broccato,comodissime poltroncine imbottite,ambiente in stile vittoriano.Ottimi,enormi,super ripieni i burger pastrami ordinati.Per due hamburger,una birra piccola ed un'acqua,32 £.Non molto economico,ma ho trovato di molto peggio:Londra è carissima!!!

This was our first meal in London and I wanted it to be fish and chips. We walked past this pub and thought it would be a good spot to eat at. Well it surely is a local pub as we seemed to be the only tourist there. We were told there weren't any servers on duty so we had to place our order at the bar. We both went with the fish and chips minus the mushy peas and a side of onion rings. I myself enjoyed the fish and chips however my SO wasn't impressed. He loved the onion rings and fries but could have done without the fish.

Visited today on the way to our hotel. Ordered a sharing platter, one pint of lager and a glass of wine and sat in our designated table. We waited and waited and waited for our meal. 4 young ladies sat at the table next to us, ordered their meals and drinks and within 10 minutes their meals arrived (2 of them had ordered the same sharing platter as us - we thought our luck was in but no - the platter was for them.). My husband went to the bar to complain and ask where our meal was. It was explained that there had been a mix up and eventually our platter arrived. The meal was nothing special (typical pub grub) - BUT, to add insult to injury when my husband went to pay our meal he was charged for a bottle of wine which he quickly queried and the bill was amended. Not a very good experience in a busy tourist area.

We travel annually to London and stay in Earls Court. We have often dined in this hotel. However, since it became the chain hotel food quality and choice have dropped. We were there on the night of a football match which may not have helped.

Nosso primeiro pub em Londres. Pedimos o prato típico da cidade. O peixe estava com pouco sal, apesar de ser empanado. As batatas estavam deliciosas. O que surpreendeu mesmo foi a sobremesa: cheesecake de chocolate e caramelo. Fantástico!

Sono a Londra per un viaggio di lavoro che mi vede ospite in questa città fino a fine mese, qualche sera fa sono passata con amici residenti davanti al pub e ci siamo fatti catturare dall'aspetto intimo e pulito del locale! Meraviglioso, abbiamo mangiato benissimo e il personale è divertente e alla mano!

ホテルからも近く、パブを体験したくてこちらを利用しました。日曜の夜なのに大変賑わっていました。カウンターにメニューはありませんので、頼めばドリンクとフードのメニューをいただけます。席を決めたら注文できるというシステムでした。(オーダー時に席を教える）ただ夜はフードの数が少なく、出るのも遅かったです。ただ、雰囲気を味わうにはもってこいなお店でした。

I stopped here for a drink whilst in Earl's Court the service is good and the bar is clean not sure about the toilets as I never used them

It is rare to see such a horrible place, but the Courtfield pulls it off: the worst pub in earls court. Staff/ management: incapable of proper service. Beers: expensive and poor. Food: no way! Toilets: horrible!

Servizio lentissimo e colazione abbastanza immangiabile per questo pub proprio di fronte alla fermata della metropolitana di Earl's Court.

We were staying around the corner and this was a descent pub for dinner and drinks. It was a busy night with rugby on the TV, but the service was quick and friendly. Not a pub to seek out, but if in the neighborhood a fine choice.
