I had dinner here by myself last night when staying in London on business. Outstanding, exquisite food and fantastic service! The waitress brought me a menu as soon as I sat down, and offered me water to drink while I perused the menu. I ordered coconut jerky, the Asia Experience bowl, the salted caramel slice, and a Matcharita cocktail (a twist on a margarita). The food arrived quickly, and was incredible. The service was just as good. I will most definitely be back. Highly recommended, for everyone who likes food, not just raw foodies.

I went for brunch on a Sunday here and loved it! The food was delicious and surprisingly filling! (I had the Acai bowl and shared a salted caramel slice with my friend) Really relaxing atmosphere and the lady that served us was super friendly.Only negative was that service was a little slow - even though the cafe was very quiet we had to wait quite a while for our order to be taken - We didn't mind this too much though, we went for a laid-back brunch so rushing wasn't on our agenda :-)

Went to Tanya's after finding it on the web wishing to experience some vegan/raw food. Arrived and was a little surprised to see that it is part of a spa/hotel which isn't a problem within itself but it can hardly be called an independent cafe, and also makes access a little bit strange. Approached the open entrance to look at the menu and was greeted by a friendly staff member but as soon as I said I was taking away, two other blonde staff members, one Australian was incredibly rude trying to rush us and being obnoxious and arrogant- the very opposite of good customer service. I Spent 17 pounds on two juices in a bottle and a tiny piece of coconut bounty bar cake. For these kind of prices I was honestly SHOCKED at how we were treated, we felt so awkward and wanted to leave!Honestly if your looking for a good vegan/raw food experience I recommend NAMA in which I recently visited and was extremely impressed. Tanya's cafe is overrated and obviously has very bad staff training. Not recommended and personally I will not be returning!

Came here on a Friday lunch time and we had booked, but there was barely anyone there. In fact, I think Tanya herself was there on her laptop! It's a great atmosphere/vibe in here, and the food really is yummy. IT's not cheap, but healthy food tends not to be, so I don't mind that. I had the Europa Adventure at £9.90, it wasn't huge, but actually it filled me up (which may have been to do with their Ninja Matcha beforehand!) Their puds are also LOVELY!!! Tanya recommended the salted caramel slice and it was DIVINE. Would def come back.

Tucked away in Chelsea, Tanya's is a great lunch haven for healthy food. The Europa bowl was too big to finish despite being made entirely of raw vegan food. I came here with my friend back in June 2015, after having heard about and seen pictures on Instagram through people I follow. I thought it would be an interesting experience to try this trend of 'raw food' eating to see what it was all about. The dishes we ordered were quite yummy and original but I don't think I would try it out again. The 'raw food' diet/trend is not for me, nor for my friend but we did enjoy getting the opportunity to try it at Tanya's. In terms of atmosphere, the cafe itself has a lovely and open vibe. I liked the layout of it with the bar/counter at one end, the natural light from the large windows on one side and the couch seating on the opposite side. I also liked that the desserts available were displayed in an open fridge so customers could see what they wanted before ordering. It was also not too crowded, so having a leisurely lunch was enjoyable. As you can see from the pictures, we order one serving of the 'tacos' and the 'pad thai' to share. In terms of taste and flavour, they both packed quite a punch but obviously did not taste as authentic as the originals would but it was a good effort at trying to replicate them. They also both had interesting textures; a mixture of crunchy, hard and soft items all in one dish. I think one of the reasons we didn't find the meal too satisfying was because it wasn't very filling, which I suppose is how it was meant to be? But again, both dishes were full of flavour so it definitely was not lacking in taste. As mentioned earlier, we probably wouldn't come back again but it's definitely worth a try to experience the 'raw food' diet/trend if you haven't before.

I was very excited to finally visit and try out Tanya's, which I had been recommended to try by numerous people, given that I am into raw, vegan food, and healthy eating. The waitress was unhelpful, not particularly warm, and came across as rude, which was very embarrassing, given that my partner and friend had joined me on the recommendation that it would be a great experience.I suffer from an intolerance to onion and garlic, and was begrudgingly informed that there was only one main I could choose from, which was tasty, but unfortunately realised too late that it contained garlic and spent the next few days suffering from indigestion as a consequence. Unfortunately, I would not recommend Tanya's to friends and will not be visiting again.

Firstly the good stuff - the staff were very helpful - and contrary to what others have reviewed I did like the chilled out, non-fussy decor. We weren't sure what to have and so went with the recommendations of the waiter. I was cold and very hungry when I arrived and started with a MY LATTE, with Matcha. It was delicious, warming and incredibly satisfying! Totally took away my hunger. Our dishes (to share) were the nachos and Thai Salad. The Nachos was lovely, but felt a little meagre on the portion of avocado. The Thai salad was probably not the greatest. The proportion of raw broccoli and raw cauliflower (both very strong flavours when raw) was too great and over powered the dish. Couldn't find any coconut flesh anywhere and not much dressing. Overall we really enjoyed the lunch and it's always lovely to discover new raw foodie ideas - would be tempted to go back and buy their recipe book. It is pricey - but raw foods and superfoods are expensive and time consuming to make. Wouldn't rush back, but would certainly pop in for a MY LATTE if I was ever in the area...and maybe try one of their delicious looking desserts.

I thought I'd give this place a go only because I was curious about all the talking... If you are into raw, plant based food, this is definitely a good option. I tried their Cesar salad with coconut bacon and very tasty it was. My partner had the Thai noodles and was also favorably impressed. The range of their healthy drinks is pleasant enough and the desserts are worth a look. Staff is friendly and polite. The staff at Tanya's Cafe were unhelpful and snotty. The meals we had weren't stricly speaking raw, and were arrogantly overpriced (£5.50 for a side of onion bread; a mere slice). The coffee was stale and the staff's idea of warm almond milk was to supply a glass of hot water in which to place the milk jug, which resulted in boiling water spilling everywhere (includig on my person). They then had the gaul to add a 12.5% tip to the bill, which we had to pay. All in all a ghastly experience.

If you are into raw food then you will love this. It's a marmite type of place. The tacos are meant to be very good. We tried the beetroot risotto and humus and falafel. My negative comment would be that it was all a touch too cold which took a lot of the taste away. I understand it's raw and probably for food safety has to be chilled at certain temperature but it did feel too cold. As we were staying in myhotel we had breakfast there. I can recommend the Bircher muesli. Of its type the food is good, but it definitely won't be everyone's cup of tea!

The drinks are even better! It was a cold, rainy day when I went there (on both occasions!) so I tried the Matcha Latte, and the Hot Chocolate - both were to die for! It's so nice to find some healthy, somewhat similar foods to what I eat on a daily occurrence when you're halfway around the world! Despite London being quite vegan-friendly, it's nice to go to an exclusively vegan place to enjoy the food and drink. Oh! And some healthy dessert too! My partner and I went for lunch and while I enjoyed a really tasty thai curry dish he went for the pad thai which looked lovely but came with no dressing and was quite a bland bunch of veggies with no zing of lime or peanut which you would expect. As I had enjoyed my meal so much I went on to buy the book a week later and discovered that the pad thai should have been served with a dressing which would no doubt have made my partners meal a million times better. Overall it was a good experience but there needs to be no oversights with dressing as otherwise its just veggies which you could have prepped yourself!

Visited to accommodate the vegan in our party who had read good reviews and seen fantastic pictures of the food. What a rip off. The tiniest portions of dried / dehydrated yuck. Flavourless, over priced and the tiniest portions known to man. How they have the audacity to serve it and charge the prices they do defies any logic our party could come up with. Cute courtyard setting but tables are all ring marked and stained. The photos of the food advertised on Instagram and website versus what's actually delivered must contravene trading standards laws. Since when could kale be classed as a cheesy chip? And Nachos they were certainly not.Starters were small, expensive and tasteless.A main course salad should contain more than 3 gem lettuce leaves....They certainly take the moral high ground about being dairy, meat and egg- free but come on! Do you have to be substance and flavour free too?I don't mind paying if I've had good value but this must have cost the restaurant £10 inc staff costs to produce (4 starters and 4 mains and drinks). What also annoys me is the adding of service to the bill - leave it as discretionary especially when you haven't added any effort or skill to the preparation or presentation.Extortionate charge for what we received - there are better vegan restaurants available.

At first glance, we noticed the menu items were very expensive but thought 'hey it must be worth it and we are out for a treat!'. How wrong we were. Expecting a taste sensation and creativity, we ordered the Pad Thai and the Tacos (taco's because the curry had run out... no problem), eagerly waited and took snaps of our £6.50 coconut water & juices to post on Instagram. The 'noodles' for my main were ribboned courgette, carrot slices and thats exactly what it tasted like... uncooked veg. Bland and boring. Sounds harsh but I would advise anyone against going here. The service was OK although it wasn't busy and we had to get their attention a few times.

Few months ago I found out about Tanya's raw food and since then i was following Tanya on Facebook and even bought few e-books from her website. I was really looking forward to have a meal in the restaurant. Such a disappointment! My husband got me sharing platter for 2 and 2 cakes take away. When he left a restaurant he found out that he paid 4.50 for the service charge. Why would charge service charge for take away????? the food was very disappointing . raw pad thai was a pepper, onion and cucumber in very heavy garlic sauce. the nori wrap was horrible and very heavy as well. the most of the dish was just plain cut carrot. thats all. Does it worth 23 pounds? absolutely not! the food was so garlicy and so heavy . I actually felt very sick afterwards. didn't really understand the taste of the cakes, the member of staff put them on the top of each other and put them on the bottom so they were really squashed.Needless to say that I won't be back and will recommend to go to Wild food cafe in covent garden where they serve really nice tasty healthy raw food

I've been wanting to try this place forever seeing all the beautiful pictures on Instagram and being a healthy foodie. I was really excited but it was unfortunately a very disappointing experience. The atmosphere wasn't good (empty restaurant) and the service was truly terrible. My friend only wanted something small and they had nachos and hummus on the menu. When she asked if she could have carrot sticks instead of nachos (which are on the menu too, just in another starter) the waitress said that's not possible - without even asking the 'cook'. So we got the nachos, hummus and thai green curry. I've tried raw food before and I know how good it can be. The food at Tanya's unfortunately wasn't. It was very bland and the portions are really small. Also the menu is just not exciting. Where are the raw pizzas and lasagnas?? :-) Anyway, I emailed them and they offered free meals when we go there the next time. I really don't think I will go back, even if it's free.

Gorgeous food but completely let down by poor service and terrible coffee. Staff were not welcoming nor attentive. The coffee tasted like instant, was provided in a builders mug and cold almond milk on the side, which obviously curdled when I added it once served. I would not return.

Well what can I say - I was very let's say doubtful of the food I would get here and was thinking where can I eat after! How wrong was I!!!! The food and service was superb and vey organic! The highlight of my visit was the pad Thai, Thai curry and the insanely addictive deserts! You will not leave hungry or disappointed! Tanya's team were amazing at recommending the best dishes so make sure you listen to them! Thank you and can't wait to return!

Well, my title basically said it all, but here's more information. This restaurant is located in My Hotel Chelsea, right off the reception desk...the atmosphere is bright and sunny, relaxed and chill. I had Kale chips, noodle salad and beet juice...great for power lunch when you want to be healthy and light. Very nice groups that manages the place. GO!

We tried the raw food, smoothies and juices while staying at the hotel. Everything was excellent! I just wish they were open more during our stay. We couldn't find any posted opening hours, either.

Visited Tanya's for lunch after wanting to go there for a while. First impressions were good as it was quiet and we were served quickly. I expected the higher prices due to the niche market and wasn't too put off. I took my fiancé so decided to go for the sharing platter (as they're usually bigger portions...) Now the food was delicious but the potions were so small! I'm not even a big eater but left hungry. This was more distracting considering you pay a little more. Great place to try but I'm not in a rush to go back.

On a recent trip to London with my fiancée and friends, we went out of our way to visit Tanya's for some healthy food. Food was ok but service was nothing special so we asked for the service charge to be removed from our bill. The waiter who was a tall skinny baldish guy was shocked and walked away, only to gossip about us to a blonde girl who gave us evils. We decided we would definitely not pay a tip and tried to leave in good spirits by saying goodbye to the staff. However we were appalled to hear "Bye, don't come back!" from our waiter! One of our party members apprehended him and asked him to apologise and we were greeted with excuses such as stress and the business not doing well! Tanya's need to hire better employees - no wonder "business is bad"! Never again, your employees have tarnished your name forever!!

This restaurant hurt my stomach so ill keep it shortFood taste was very average bordering on unpalatable with weird texture - not fresh - may have been prepared a long time ago.Lots of items on the menu were sold out.The waitress was really spaced out - what is the maximum shift duration allowed in the UK?Futher to that was the bill which very much excessive for a half-baked place like this.spend your dollars on a genuine raw food place at probably half the price too

I was excited to eat at Tanya's, together with my friend we decided to have dinner there couple of weeks ago. It wasn't my first experience with raw food restaurant so I had high expectations. When we came in the girl great us with a big ''what do you want'' expression on her face. When I said i have table for 2, she point the finger and said ''its there''. I work in costumer service and if I would have that attitude, or one of my girls we will be fired long time ago.Not once after we ordered our food we have been asked if we need anything, if we are enjoying the meal.Portion was very small for the price we paid.On the positive side, this is a very nice place with nice food but staff should be trained better as it is really bad.

This place was really really disappointing. The service was appalling. We asked the waitress to take a group photo for us, to which she replied, ' Okay, but after this you need to leave'. It was half an hour before closing time.Another issue was that we requested to take away one of the dishes we ordered (about £20) as we were unable to finish it and the waiter said he would put it in a takeaway box for us whilst we payed the bill. When we were leaving, we asked for the box, and he said his colleague had binned it (an entire £20 untouched meal) and did not apologise. Needless to say we will not be coming back. The food was average tasting and I get that organic healthy produce costs more but your prices are just exorbitant. So disappointing. Never coming back.

Having seen so much good press about Tanya’s I knew I had to visit. After recruiting a suitable friend to come with me (we both love new trying new healthy food spots) we booked into Tanya’s on a grey Tuesday night. First impressions are that tucked away inside the My Hotel Chelsea I doubt it gets much walk in custom so the fact it was nearly full on a Tuesday says a lot about it.This was my first experience of a totally raw food and it was seriously good! It has definitely encouraged me to go fully raw again. On the down side the price was quite high for the portion sizes. While we weren’t too hungry I can imagine that if you were it wouldn’t be as satisfying. The service was lovely, very friendly and they took the time to talk through different menu options.Cocktails 10/10: we were served by an amazing cocktail waiter who very patiently listened to our favourite flavours and suggested suitable drinks for us. So delicious in fact that before we knew it we were on our 3rd and very giggly! We also shared a pudding which was tasty but expensive.Overall if you are willing to pay Chelsea prices Tanya’s is a lovely atmosphere and a nice introduction to raw food though the portion sizes could be bigger.

Tanyas serves some of the best food I have ever had! A bold statement but true. I was not prepared for the quality and flavours of raw vegetables and can only say what a fabulous experience this was. Staff were more than happy to give recommendations & provided great insights into what worked & what was simply OK.

I was excited to see what Tanya's had in store when I went with my sister during February and was thoroughly disappointed. The service was awful and as we have both worked as waitresses we know the standard and they certainly did not meet it.We waited at least 10 minutes for our drinks order to be taken even though the place was very quiet and once we were finished with them we had to ask for them to be taken away as they were just left there even after we had finally received our lunch. It seemed amazing to me that the staff were more concerned about writing quotes on a chalk board and happily walking around day dreaming then to go up to a customer. It almost seemed that they lacked confidence with serving people or they were just simply too scared as they knew they would receive a complaint. What concerned me even more was the fact that Tanya herself was in the room and that did not seem to even effect the servers in the slightest with their work ethic. The place could be so much better if Tanya opened her eyes and ditched the awful staff because the food and decoration was lovely and it deserves so much better.

Food was tasty but for £15 for a minuscule salad and half an avocado rolled in seeds, it's just not worth it. Equally, the juices were delicious but not worth £5.I went in the evening with a friend and it was completely lacking in atmosphere. Although on hand, the staff lacked any sort of warmth or care and even when I asked for recommendations, the waitress was obviously completely disinterested in helping me choose. I think this cafe would be a lot more popular if they cut the prices to something more reasonable and if the staff were energised and passionate about the concept - only then would I consider returning.

My brother treated me to a birthday lunch here and we both loved the food!Positive:- The desserts are amazing, we had the key lime cheesecake, and the lemon and matcha cheesecake. Both were wonderfully refreshing and I'd definitely return even just for the cakes and a smoothie. For improvement:- The mains I found a little pricey for the quantity of food, but it was delicious all the same.- It would have been nice to have had a jug of water left on our table. We were poured just a couple of small glasses.

Visited for brunch for my birthday. I have quite a lot of restrictions in terms of what I can and can't eat. I figured a place like this - raw, vegan, etc - would cater for individuals that may need that extra attention to detail/specific requests.I asked what fruit the crepe contained. On the first occasion the waitress came back and told me what the Fruit salad contained. So I relayed my question. She went to the bar and didn't return. Then my Husband had to get up go to the counter and ask her again. We ordered our smoothies. At £5/6 each, I was disappointed to have them served with ice. Why on earth would you serve a smoothie with ice?? In February, when it is COLD. We aren't in Australia! And I don't want ice taking up space and ruining my £6 smoothie. Pathetic. I couldn't be bothered asking for another (where I normally would) as the waitress seemed incapable of basic service. The food was good...but the service ruined the experience. None of the staff smile, seem really stiff/stressed and miserable. Tanya needs to get them to read her motivational boards she is such a fan of. The atmosphere is odd. Strained...bit boring. Needs something to make it a bit more lovely/pleasant.

Visited with my daughter as its a favourite of hers. Never experienced a full on raw food restaurant, so it was definitely a new experience. The food was beautifully presented and tasty and the atmosphere good. I think raw food is probably an acquired taste but very much enjoyed it and will go again to sample different things on the menu! Recommend a visit even if raw is not your 'thing'.

The raw food experience was very interesting . I was just surprised how small the menu was for a restaurant. I felt like it was more of a snack bar. It was my second time experiencing raw cuisine and it was overall very tasty. The service was what ruined our visit. We made a reservation for 9 pm. A tall lady with brown hair arrived by letting us know that the place closes at 10. Who closes at 10 pm as a restaurant?? Everything we ordered she kept reminding us her closing time. At 10pm sharp she basically gave us a look " please leave". Decor was very low key and as if we were walking straight into Berkeley. So do not expect a trendy/ cool decor .

We've now visited Tanya's three times, & the appalling service has become a comedic highlight. Most recently on Valentine's evening, with around 15 diners in the whole place, we waited 10 minutes for drinks orders to be taken, were served another table's drinks; on asking for some chilli oil & the ingredients of a cocktail the waitress just wandered off, served another table & clearly instantly forgot our request. The diners next to us waited closer to 20 minutes for their drinks, had their -entire- order forgotten...etc. The food is great, & they could almost justify their very high prices if the service made you feel looked-after. Currently the place is a joke. If we return, it will only be to laugh. The staff seem pleasant, but desperately need someone to instil a culture of attentiveness & urgency in their service.

Basically, if you're into a vegan diet; the foods great. But, it's not worth the money for the portions espdcially when the service is so BAD. Expect to a pay service charge for the terrible service and also a big bill for very little food.Great potential but really not quite there yet. You'd be better off spending your money elsewhere. We asked for water waited half an hour why they filled everyone else up and then NO JOKe the waitress poured us the tiniest bit of water and took the jug away?!! Won't be going back... They weren't even busy.. Clear to see why.

If you're not interested in quality raw food, served beautifully - don't go.I was so excited to visit Tanya's having read about the opening and I was not disappointed. I had a lovely lunch of nachos and a reishi latte followed up with a divine lemon and coconut tower. I even took take away cake and chocolates for friends.I expected for it to be expensive because the food contains specialist superfood ingredients and the restaurant is in the middle of Chelsea - and I was happy to do so. I only wish there was one in the Isle of Man!

Been wanting to try for a while and although atmosphere was great, lovely staff, food was not imaginative, just salads / wraps - no raw lasagne or raw pizza like other vegan places, the veg was pretty standard - lots of spiralised carrots for lots of money - didn't feel I got value for money. Dessert cheesecake was very tasty! Wouldn't rush back though

I'd been dying to check this out for weeks so I was already sold on the concept when I walked in today. The venue is lovely, nice mix of a boho and healthy living vibe. Service very friendly and attentive. Food arrived and looked mind blowingly amazing - a piece of art on a plate - and tasted great. Here's the problem: They are obviously trying to make a lot of money on the food portion sizes. My veggie burger was the size of a 50pence coin surrounded by lots of onion dehydrated bread and salad - at £14.50. The Beetroot and orange soup tasted devine but also £11.50 for a bowl of soup! My bill which included a Vision juice (carrot, ginger etc) and a portion of lasagne to take home was £49.50. For a raw food lunch for one person that is...nuts. Loved the people who work there, food great but get your prices right and I will be back and the place will start filling up and not be almost empty on a Tuesday lunch time. Almost there Tanya!

I was excited to try Tanya’s because I’ve read a lot of reviews regarding the “first ever superfood bar” located in the myhotel Chelsea.Food and Drinks: We ordered one blueberry cake, one kombucha, one alkaliser juice and one doctor juice.Price: 23.60 GBP for three people.Ambiance: The café is set up cute with the plants on the wall.Service: The service was not very friendly or helpful. Would I go back? No, I thought it was way too expensive for what it was along with the lack of service was a turn off.

For many years I used Greenfields where I received consistently outstanding courteous, friendly, and swift service. Now where are they? Food quality was always the highest and prices reasonable but creeping up forced upon them by rapacious landlord happy to cede their territory to the growing French / Belgian community. Was it not Bonaparte who referred to the English as a "nation of shopkeepers"? Is it not ironic, therefore, that where he could not win at Waterloo his descendants could in South Ken....
