Me and the wife happened to be passing the tavern and decided to give it a go for Sunday lunch. The sign said home cooked food.. I had a beef Sunday dinner and it's was ten out of ten.. lovely food.. the wife had fish and chips... Loved the fish but the chips where of the frozen variety.. but the meal was still nice.

Lovely local boozer. Plenty of lagers & Ales Check it out for Live music & KARAOKE Nights Good choice of pub food Lovely & professionally trained staff !( especially the lovely CHARLIE. Always whit a Smile to die for) SPORTS tv screens & pool Overall a clean & professional city centre pub ( The best in my opinion!!!) You should give it a try. Won't regret it

Went in this evening to have a few drinks with friends and instantly the manager came over and shouted at us all because we had one portion of take away chips with us from another place. we said we were here to buy drinks and asked us for id as after 6pm ‘no kids’ when we were all actually over 18. we left as we didn’t want to be served by such a rude see you next tuesday.

Had to wait an age for one portion of fish and chips- the size of that was laughable- less than three forkfuls of fish- microwaved overly thick chips... It was obvious that groups took precedence over singles. TBF- the young lady who served me admitted there was 'only one chef- and we are finding things difficult today'- ok that's fine but the 'one chef ' was not a chef at all- worst meal I HAVE EVER HAD!!

Despite living locally my visits here over the years have been very irregular, but recently I have called in quite a few times and been impressed. The change of road layout outside the pub has allowed an outside seating area to be created which is good. Inside is more light and airy than I remember from the past. Service is always friendly and I note that the prices for tea and coffee are very competitive. There is live entertainment too from time to time which is a bonus.

Stopped off for a drink with the kids very cheap drinks and staff were fab even gave kids an Easter bag with crayons and chocolates was so kind of them , would deffo recommend

Nice little pub away from the busy beach area, We went in for Sunday lunch and were impressed with the good food and how fresh it was. Even the local people said they went there for the good food .Will always get my custom on my next visit.

Popped in for a drink. Friendly pub. Wife impressed with service offered to any girl in distress - nice thought.

Spent Saturday afternoon in The Tavern with friends. Good pub, lovely cobs. Staff very friendly. Lovely young lad Our Jack keeping tables cleared. Very well mannered. Very welcoming.

Been here a few times in the last few months after shopping in town and catching the bus back to Sandbay. Different staff each time but each one been jolly and attentive. Real cross section of the public use the pub probably because the drinks are a Reasonable price especially if you coincide with Happy Hour!!! The music is great( mainly old 60's each time we have been nostalgic) Lots of interesting old artefacts on display and some interesting old sayings painted up high to read and ponder over or have a giggle Can only comment on the ambience for a cheeky afternoon tipple as didn't see anyone eating or visit during an evening Incidentally hubby visited loo and No probs!!

Very handy town cementer pub. Friendly staff with a good range of drinks. Food is variable. Good entertainment with Wednesday evening great Rock & Roll disco wit a dance floor.

Went to this venue today. Lots of tables reserved. This shouldn't be allowed in a venue like this. Sells itself as a family venue but no pushchairs allowed. Entertainment completely crap - could of had a better night on the site entertaining ourselves!

Stopped in for a quick drink, bar staff were friendly but the reason for a low score was due to the toilets being dirty and in dire need of cleaning

Right in the centre, plenty of room, good value pub. Nice lady serving behind the bar and although quiet, you didn't feel out of place.

The staff and locals create a local away from home and create a fantastic atmosphere that is tough to find in this busy seaside resort. Great drinks selection and fantastic fun and value for money. A must visit for any trip to Weston!

Utilizamos para venir aquí todos los miércoles por la noche para el Rock n' roll hasta que me torcí el tobillo por tercera vez. (No en este lugar) lo recomendaría para una noche barato ya que puedes ver el baile y pueden participar si lo desea. Las bebidas son baratos y hay unos cuantos personajes locales que hace una noche interesante.

Se trata de un pub del centro de la ciudad, donde niceish puede tomar el peso de los pies con una bebida y disfrutar de algo para comer. La comida era muy buena. Compartimos una fuente y estaba caliente y bien preparado. La cerveza no es demasiado caro. Los aseos no son muy buenas. Hay una mesa de billar si te aburres. El personal es muy amable, pero es un poco localmente. Buen lugar para descansar mientras compras

The nicest Sunday dinner we've ever had in a pub. Right down to homemade Yorkshire puds. Situated opposite New Look.

7 of us all cousins went in for Wednesday Rock and Roll night, didn't have a meal, just drinks and music. Fabulous night, even heard some R&R I never heard before. We are all dancers and the place had some really good local dancers. Very friendly atmosphere and welcomed us well. Deffo go back soon. If you into R/R you must do this Wed at the Tavern, it's a must. Thanks to all in there for the fun we had, see you all again soon.

Popped in for a drink and ended stopping all day we had a meal this was very well cooked and just the buiss I will be back soooon thanks to Sam ands Sharon they are the best xx
