Brilliant meal - excellent staff - nice decor - would thoroughly recommend. All the staff were very helpful and attentive. All four of us had something different to eat and none of us were disappointed. I was especially pleased to find a non-alcoholic sparkling wine on the menu.

Very nice staff, lovely food and great/comfy decor. Would recommend but do check the price of the wine before ordering as it isn’t cheap! (But lovely!)

This restaurant has a lovely atmosphere with some fine paintings on the walls but sadly the food was disappointing.The first courses were good we has a crab starter but the main courses , we all had the roast sirloin of beef , we were told it would be “medium “ cooked but was well done overcooked and rather tough . We ordered some glasses of red wine to drink with the beef but it arrived after we had eaten our beef .We think it was overpriced and will not be eating here again

Ordered 1/2 a lobster with Seaweed garlic butter. The lobster clearly hadn’t seen the sea for at least a month and the Seaweed garlic butter was inedible. The butter contained no garlic, little butter and more salt than the dead sea. I ordered fries with parmesan, shaved truffle and chives but received plain rather ropey looking fries. My wife ordered the monkfish, which was overcooked, unlike the accompanying vegetables which were less al dente and more dental challenge. Very disappointing

Incredibly good restaurant. Everything from the food, the drinks, the atmosphere and the service were top notch. We really appreciated how attentive our wait staff were. In particular, our waitress was great at pointing out a potential issue after I had ordered a vegan main and a non-vegan starter. I reassured her I wasnt actually vegan but it was great to see her pick up on it and try to resolve an issue before it occurred. The drinks were fantastic, especially the cocktails we had. Great creations. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a classy, enjoyable dining experience

We were staying in the hotel so this was the obvious first stop. Absolutely no complaints. Good food, wide choice and friendly attentive service. Good value for money and happy to recommend.

Central to everything good meal one of our starters was not what we thought rest was very good. Polite staff ,clean and good service. Been before would reccommend.

This place was personally recommended to us on the Friday and we managed to get one of the last two tables left for Sunday lunch. It was really busy with loads of walk-ins being turned away so get booked in if you do want to dine here. The Sunday roast beef was really good and a decent sized portion however the ham hock terrine starter was very much on the small side and wasn't served with any bread which was disappoiting. When I questioned this the waitress just said thats how its served and no offer of getting anything to go with it. Pretty priced for Sunday lunch but just about worth it bar the starter.

We love this restaurant, posh atmosphere and posh looking dishes. We dinned early so we had the whole restaurant to ourselves at the beginning. Dishes are nicely presented, we had a good time.

I’m surprised this isn’t higher up on the list of places to have dinner in Broadway! We ate out to celebrate my Grandad’s 80th birthday - it was a perfect setting. The staff were very warm and attentive. The food was excellent. It is great for vegetarians / vegans, as there is a whole separate menu.

This restaurant is in The Broadway Hotel and really is well worth a visit. Four of us dined here to celebrate our friends 25th Wedding Anniversary, it was a fantastic venue. The decor is fabulous and has a great vibe, it was packed which is always a good sign. To start we had breaded brie, crab sandwich and pork belly bites, all were really good, the brie a particular winner. We followed with a delicious burger, rump and sirloin steak both with all the trimmings and Caesar salad with lightly spiced chicken, which was a little different and very tasty. We finished by sharing a couple of Eton mess’s, beautifully presented, I would have loved a touch more meringue. Washed down by bottles of Picpoul and Merlot. The service was excellent, very genuine and friendly. We had a lovely evening and highly recommend a visit.

We visited for an early dinner and the food and service were great. It’s also dog friendly and our dog was made a fuss over which he enjoyed!

I Would not go back as simple as that! I sent back the main course (hake) as it was soooo restless! How the hell can they charge £26 for this dish? I think the head chef needs to go back to college!!!!

We booked here for Valentine’s Day, for the starter we both chose pan fired king prawns, with lime + chilli butter + herb risotto, when it came it looked amazing but we could not taste any lime or chilli and the risotto was totally tasteless for mains my wife chose the Hake again tasteless and sent it back, we both ended with fish and chunky chips again nicely presented but my fish was very small having worked in Hotel kitchens my self I estimated it a 4oz portion my wife’s was slightly bigger and a couple who also had the fish later again a lot larger this was disappointing, the chunky chips were skinny fries if we were told that before I would have ordered something else as I hate fries unless it’s with a burger and perhaps we would have been better off going to McDonald’s, the dessert was ok but my wife wanted a chocolate pudding and the only option was double the price when my wife asked about it to the ‘Chef de Rang’ he said he didn’t know anything about the pudding, when pushed about the price he said ‘it’s because it’s a sharing pudding’ my wife said ‘it does not say that on the menu’ he replied ‘that’s what I am here to explain’ so why didn’t he say that to start with. I wish my daughter was with us as she works in another Broadway hotel part time also as a Chef de Rang and been able to get her opinion. We will not be coming back

I brought a friend here for a cosy lunch on a cold winters day. The log fire was crackling and there were many tables empty. We ordered a sandwich each and a drink. Had coffee afterwards. By then the whole room was full to the brim !! Attentive service. Toilets immaculate and stunning wall paper ! B Hotel never disappoints.

We’d been looking forward to a trip to Broadway and after reading the festive lunch menu at Tattersalls thought this sounded great. We were greeted in the village by a beautiful snowy scene - gorgeous. All the lunch dishes sounded delicious so difficult to choose. We started well with the arancini which was hot and tasty (could have benefited from more purée). The disappointment was the Turkey dinner. When this arrived I actually thought they’d forgotten to plate a few items/vegetables. There was a lot of plate showing and certainly didn’t feel like a Christmas treat!! It was mainly stuffing (inside the Turkey then a big patty). The only veg was literally two tiny carrots and a small bit of creamed Brussels. I heard another customer enquire whether there should have been some green vegetables served. What would have been a relatively simple addition could have really transformed the dish. The two desserts were nice. We had a lovely day and I still love the Broadway Hotel at Christmas but the main course was disappointing.

We were recommended to try the Broadway Hotel after a couple of lack-lustre visits to the Swan over the road. We booked for lunch for four of us. I tried a delightful ale made for the hotel. It was wonderful, so wonderful that I had to have a pair of pints. The food and service was great too. The butternut squash soup was tasty, there seemed to be a hint of curry. I had the burger which proved to be a good choice. The rest of us had cod and chips and were equally pleased.

I love an afternoon tea in birthday week and having had a fantastic one at Morrissons no less for only £12 for 2, I was expecting great things from this fabulous hotel. This afternoon tea was let down after let down. Not cheap at £39 for 2, I'm afraid it was far from the level appropriate for the costWe booked because the website spoke of carrot cake, lemon drizzle, raspberry and chocolate macarons . The in house menu spoke only of sweet treats. We were asked to choose our SINGLE sandwich filling. Smoked salmon and cream cheese, Ham and mustard or cheese and pickle. Not overwhelming but the imaginative could always do swapises. Our stand arrived. Middle layer: our sandwiches (with crusts on), not particularly neatly done ..filling spilling out. Perfectly adequate. .but its hard to get excited over cheese and pickle.Top layer: Quelle horreur. ! No cake. No macarons. Very disappointed. Instead there was a little layered cream and berry compote amid two chocolate delice. Admittedly, the delice were good but two of the same texture and similar flavour ? a bit samey and cloying on the palate. The berry compote was useful for livening up the chocfest.Bottom layer. A fruited and a plain scone each. An ice cream scoop of clotted cream (which wouldn't really be enough to do the 4.) and jam. Not conserve or preserve with juicy fat fruit; but the type of jelly jam you get in the value range at the supermarket. Sigh. Sadly the scones were inedible. Whoever baked them needs to review the recipe. There was so much soda in them there were white streaks of it. The texture was so short the outsides were crispy. There was an unpleasant fizzing on the tongue. Just horrible. The tea ! One would expect to be offered at least a choice of loose leaf Darjeeling, Assam, Earl Grey or Lapsang Souchong. We were presented with bog-standard builder's tea in bags. Oh come ON !The experience was helped somewhat by the beautiful surroundings, easy relaxed ambiance and friendly attentive staff. Can't fault the cocktails either though they made the treat even more expensive.I would gladly eat here again for the lunches others were having looked and smelled delicious. However I would definitely not have afternoon tea again. It's a bit sad when Morrissons blow a 3 star hotel out of the water !

We sat outside on the green in Broadway which was a great location. The food here was good but service quite slow.

We had two dinner's here whilst staying in the hotel. Service was good and we enjoyed our mains of Herefordshire Beef pie and Fish & chips and the wine - pinot grigio and NZ sav blc although the latter was a bit pricey at £11.15 for a large glass.Breakfasts were also served in here - pre-ordered the night before and you needed to book your time slot. They were served promptly and thanks to Tom, Janis, Andrea and Jane for their help at breakfast and dinner.

This has become one of those places which is trading on its picturesque location and the unsuspecting tourist market - and which, in so doing, is letting that location and its custom sadly down. I very much regret my choice of dining here: the worst value for money I've come across in years, with over-priced, second rate, tasteless food and sullen service - one waitress sniping at the other in front of us.

We booked at the Brasserie for our final night in Broadway, and didn't regret it. The service was exceptional, friendly, personal, and the food was sublime. Our waitress Jade, and waiter Janis were both friendly and professional, and it made this final experience here a true success.

We came here having looked at recommended local restaurants online. We were severely disappointed!! The restaurant looks quite nice inside but the decor does not match the quality of food nor the service. To begin I ordered one drink they did not have (despite clearly having the ingredients on the menu) then ordered another and was fairly abruptly told by the waiter some 10 minutes later 'you aren't having that' as they were out out stock of something else! Eventually my 3rd request drink came out but my partners did not come out for about another 20 minutes and despite trying to catch a waiters attention he eventually had to go up and ask for it himself.The food was very average and massively overpriced for what it is.We were then left waiting for huge amounts of time. My partner wished to order more cocktails after the main and after waiting half an hour We gave up got the bill and left! Not worth the money at all. We ate at much nicer restaurants in the area for the same cost as this meal. Was baffled at the pricing of this restaurant considering what it is. I would recommend finding other places to eat in Broadway then here.

We stayed in the hotel and the restaurant team were great. The kitchen staff and chef were prepared to make changes to the menu to accommodate small needs. Breakfast afternoon tea and dinner were great. Dino g room was cold in the evening as air con was off due to Covid and tram quickly supplied small heaters for j Dee the table. Service was good and Andrea ran the team well. Food was of high quality and the selection varied. Wine selection was good and reasonably priced.

We ate in the secret garden which was beautiful but sadly the food fell short .Rare beef which had clearly been reheated and roasties came out cold with little or no gravy a d no Yorkshire pudding and the bouillabaisse was also cold and had to be reheated ... Reheated seafood is never good but there was little choice .Once all these problems were ironed out the food was ok, certainly not tasty but we were hungry and we had to eat separately , far from value for money and as a local I would NOT recommend . In return for what was meant to be a birthday treat being ruined all they could offer was to take a round of drinks off the bill ....not good customer service and sadly we were told we couldn't speak to the manager as he wasn't there !!! Some of the reasons Jade gave us for the food being cold were laughable .

Visited with my husband for a late lunch on a Friday just before Christmas. We were greeted by James who made us feel very welcome indeed. He explained to us the 'covid-safe' procedures in place at the restaurant and showed us to our table. Festive Lunch menu was excellent value at £31 for three courses and a cocktail. Lovely choice on Festive Menu with vegetarian and fish options available as well as turkey or beef. Our meals were beautifully presented, tasty and hot, and the portion size was very generous. Staff were happy to prepare my husband's food without carbs/sugar to suit his diet and nothing was too much trouble for them. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful - probably the best service I have encountered in recent times. We hope to visit the area again in the New Year - lockdowns permitting - and will definitely visit this restaurant again. Just one other thing to mention - we returned to following day just for a coffee and sat in the marquee outside. There were plenty of outdoor heaters there and we weren't at all cold. We wished we'd booked our meal for outside instead of inside as the atmosphere was lovely and there were beautiful views of the Christmas lights in the village.

What a fantastic menu and execution, well done to the chefs working with Steve Smith's recipes. I loved the duck parpadelle, could have been veal...don't care, it was amazing and I love pasta dishes. Cod loin main course is definitely one of the tastiest fish courses I have eaten in a restaurant. I was so impressed, I had to order pudding, pear tart...eats like the most yummy cake with fruit compot acidity, working in harmony with all the sweet elements. I was looking to book the very historic restaurant in town but it wasn't open tonight....all respect due, I am so glad. I will return to Tattersall's for sure, thanks to Molly and Janis for friendly and efficient service. PS....didn't bring my mobile so no pics.

We were staying in Broadway so went to Broadway Hotel for our evening meal the food was nice and the room very nice the staff were friendly and helpful but we thought it was a little pricey particularly the drinks

Nos alojamos en el hotel por tres noches a mediados de septiembre y cenamos aquí las dos últimas noches. En vista del buen tiempo, pudimos tomar unas copas antes de cenar en una de las mesas de la atmosférica zona de asientos al aire libre del bar que da a la calle principal. Un vaso de 250 ml de Dashwood NZ sav blc fue un agua para los ojos 11, pero bueno.El gran restaurante está bien equipado y hay un menú decente, al igual que en el bar, debido al efecto de covid. Nos gustó mucho nuestra selección de bocadillos de chipolatas y también nuestros platos principales, durante dos noches de pescado y patatas fritas, cordero y pollo supremo. Hay un ambiente agradable y relajante y disfrutamos de ambas comidas aquí. Si reserva su estancia directamente con el hotel, obtendrá un 20% de descuento en comida. Excelente servicio de Louise, que es una verdadera estrella.El desayuno debe pedirse el día anterior y debe elegir su franja horaria de media hora para comer. Nos sorprendió en vista de covid que los invitados no se encontraran repartidos por el restaurante y fue algo irritante que después de haber pedido nuestros entrantes fríos el día anterior, tardaran demasiado en llegar.Sin embargo, estos son puntos menores y nos gustaron nuestros tres desayunos aquí.

Después de comer aquí a principios de año y de tener uno de nuestros mejores almuerzos de domingo, teníamos ganas de volver a visitar y reservamos una mesa al mismo tiempo que nuestro alojamiento. Que decepcion.Pedimos el rosbif y ningún elemento era tan agradable como antes. Las patatas asadas (no tan) se sirvieron debajo de la carne, lo que no ayudó y las chirivías (no tan) asadas muy suaves. Lo que antes era una deliciosa selección de verduras ahora era un plato muy aburrido de verduras hervidas. No se apresurará a regresar.En una nota diferente, tomamos unas copas afuera y el miembro del personal que saludaba a los invitados estaba haciendo un trabajo fabuloso en una semana tan ocupada, bien hecho.

Fuimos a cenar anoche y tengo que decir que estaba absolutamente delicioso. Teníamos las salchichas chipolata y el huevo escocés para empezar. Ambos estaban deliciosos pero las salchichas eran definitivamente las mejores. Para los platos principales ambos optamos por el cordero. De nuevo, ¡absolutamente delicioso! Finalmente optamos por el pudín de ciruelas y la tarta Bakewell. . . mmmmmmmm! ! ! ! ! Muy bueno (aunque ten en cuenta que el pudín de ciruelas contiene las piedras). Un café iba acompañado de un bizcocho. Como si necesitáramos más comida pero tuviéramos que probarla (y terminarla) porque estaba preciosa.El personal fue realmente agradable, amable y servicial sin dejar de ser profesional.Definitivamente necesitamos visitarlo nuevamente cuando estemos de regreso en Broadway. ¡No puedo recomendar lo suficiente! ! ! !

La mala iluminación hizo que tuviéramos que usar nuestros teléfonos como linternas para leer el menú. Estaba luchando por cortar lo que pensé que era lechuga en mi ensalada y entrante de huevo escocés, pero resultó ser una servilleta negra que quedó en el plato debajo de la comida. Otros eligieron el entrante de vieiras a un precio de 15 y se les presentó un plato que contenía 1 vieira, cortada en 3 piezas. ! Los platos principales estaban bien, pero nada especial. Ah, y una palabra que decir sobre el sommelier RUDE.

Encantador restaurante y muy consciente de Covid, ¡es bueno ver a todo el personal con máscaras faciales!Solo tuvimos un plato principal que estaba absolutamente delicioso, pero sentimos que el tamaño de las porciones era pequeño. En retrospectiva, deberíamos haber pedido un entrante. ¡Preciosa botella de vino que no estaba mal!Personal agradable y amigable.

Me quedo en la zona y he estado pidiendo una copa la mayoría de los días. . . El personal es encantador y muy atento, tomando las temperaturas de todos antes de permitirles sentarse tanto por dentro como por fuera. Hoy decidimos comer aquí. . . . gran error en mi opinión. . . Ambos tuvimos macarrones con queso, que venían con 4 pequeños trozos de pan de ajo y un pequeño puñado de hojas mixtas. . . a las 14. 50 realmente esperábamos algo mejor. A mi esposo le gustó su comida, aunque está de acuerdo con que sea demasiado cara, no me gustó la mía en absoluto. . . . tal vez soy una minoría, no lo sé. Creo que hay lugares mejores y a precios más razonables para comer en la calle principal de Broadway. Habiendo dicho todo eso, está en una posición preciosa en la calle, con vistas al green y es agradable sentarse y relajarse mientras disfruta de una bebida.

There are some great restaurants in Broadway, but the Broadway Hotel is, I think, the most accommodating for vegans (for an evening meal). The options are more thought out and adventurous than neighbouring hotels/restaurants, and so would be my recommendation for vegans visiting the area. I had also not tried the Lagunitas Daytime IPA that they have on draught, but loved it and would also recommend it. The staff were all lovely and friendly and made the experience that much more enjoyable.

We had lunch on Sunday at the restaurant it was not good at all. Food was bland and cold. Ordered a scotch egg and it was cold, rubbery and overcooked. What a disappointing meal. Would NOT recommend.

We dined here in the evening and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The staff were friendly and helpful, the menu was itemised with Gluten Free dishes and the food was good quality.Although we had pre booked a table for 7pm, we enquired earlier in the day if it would be possible to have a drink in the bar before dinner. We were advised that we could just go to our table earlier and drinks would be served there. However, the waitress was expecting us to order our meal soon after being seated. When we explained that we had arranged to have a drink first and would still like to eat at 7pm, there was no problem. It would help if the communication between those who meet & greet and those who serve could be slightly improved. That said, we enjoyed our evening and would return.

Despite booking a table the staff struggled to deal with us properly. We seemed to be competing with the busy bar which was being used by people sitting outside. The food wasn’t up to much either so eventually I asked to see the manager who did give us some discount after I had the embarrassment of explaining our position. However I would rather have paid full price for proper service and food. Maybe we were just unlucky with the circumstances when we visited.

We went here for a birthday meal and found the whole experience lovely! The staff who looked after us were very friendly and chatty. The food is also incredibly good value for the quality, and little touches such as chocolates with the coffee was lovely. We all ate from the two course lunch menu for £13.95, and thought every meal was delicious. The only slight criticism would be that it was quite salty. However, I would highly recommend this restaurant for an occasion which can easily be done on a modest budget!

A great experience last night having endured a windswept day it was lovely to relax in a very plesant atmosphere and enjoy some great food and looking forward to doing the same this evening Highly recommend

We've met here every January for lunch... On a Saturday for the last four years... We are ex colleagues and friends.... Nurses...The food is always excellent... Tasty... Good value... The staff are very friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble... The Barman was great.. Overall atmosphere was good.. Will continue to use this venue...

After looking at the menu for light lunches but with dogs in tow we settled in the bar, drinks we purchased but we were told in an unfriendly manner that the light lunch menu could only be served in the dinning room where dogs are not allowed what difference it made where we sat I am not sure. Needless to say we left, between we had numerous of years in the hospitality trade and were shocked at the rudeness.

This is a very good Hotel in the centre of Broadway. Excellent quality food and service. The popular bar has an additional casual restaurant offering a less formal menu which is particularly good for lunch. I can thoroughly recommend either venue.

After visiting the hotel and bar for a number of years, we’ve always fancied trying Tattersalls for Sunday lunch. We went today and we were both very impressed. Lovely restaurant, very friendly staff and food was great. We had 2 courses with the roast beef being the stand out. The vegetables, cauliflower cheese and Yorkshire pudding were also very good. We will definitely return.

Went with friends who are regulars here.We had never been despite living fairly locally - what a find!The restaurant is very tastefully presented and a# 5he name suggests, has a horse racing theme to the decor.Food was delicious - I had salmon fish cake, followed by belly pork and apricot tart to finish - all were lovely.Service was efficient, friendly and helpful.We will be back!

Went on a Saturday lunchtime without booking. The bar was buzzing, but for some reason few people eating in the restaurant. The set price lunch is really excellent value and superby cooked and presented. Really delicious mackerel starter and chicken and steak main dishes. Partner's dessert looked and tasted wonderful. Very attentive, but discreet waiter service. Couldn't fault it. Liked the stylish decor, too. Would definitely return.

Lovely ambience within the restaurant which offers a good menu. Our food was delicious and staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble.

Booked as a Christmas treat.. was resident over Christmas. Breakfasts were a delight, fresh produce, excellent quality, fabulous service...

This was chosen as a special, annual, extended family gathering for afternoon tea. It's a beautiful hotel, bar and brasserie that evokes class. Disappointingly the afternoon tea has to be rated as the worst that any of us had ever experienced ...... and we have had a few! The staff seemed generally uninterested and inexperienced. The finger sandwiches were meagre and a poor selection, scones were over-cooked, the cream was solid (!) and the cake selection was again unimaginative ..... of which the cheesecake was dreadful. On the flip side the lemon drizzle cake was tasty and moist, the jam was fine and the breakfast tea was as breakfast tea should be.

Superb lunch here, a set price menu (with extras) but nothing lacking in terms of quality, taste or service. Really enjoyed this lunch and would definitely return.

Visited for a Sunday lunch. Lovely restaurant with fantastic service. Thought the actual roast was a little disappointing. Had expected something fantastic but it was only average. Have had much better roast meals in the local area. Wouldn’t be our first choice again

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here. The menu choice for the set lunch was excellent. The service was very good, not too pushy, nice and polite. We felt very comfortable in the setting of this brasserie.

Ordered steak. Asked if was good enough to have rare. Inedible. I have never tried to chew something so tough. Sent it back. My companion’s duck was excellent. Cheesecake pudding was ridiculously pretentious. Staff excellent. Chef not so much. Keep it simple.

Tried this as an alternative to The Manor House Hotel in Moreton-In-Marsh. Not quite as nice a feel to the place as Moreton, but the menu and restaurant were just as good, if not better. Very pleasant and will visit again. Good value as well for the set course meal.

This is a hotel that clearly has a very international clientele. Singapore China and countries East.

The meal was outstanding & my dessert was to die for! The staff were very attentive, we really enjoyed our evening.

We enjoyed a leisurely evening dinner, the food was well prepared and presented. Our compliments to the chef and staff for making our visit enjoyable.

We chose this restaurant as it seemed to offer something a little different from the usual type of vegan mains served. We were not disappointed! There were two options for main course and in both, tastes were imaginatively put together to produce dishes that were an absolute delight for the tastebuds! If that were not enough, there was a vegan bakewell tart with fruit coulis and ice cream to follow, which was to die for. Would thoroughly recommended a visit.
