Sensational experience! On the ball staff. Fantastic food. Tyrese took great care of us and I will be back again soon.

Food is fine but not exceptional. Service is a bit slow but very good otherwise.

Delicious food, good atmosphere and didn’t hurry us to leave after a long chatty lunch.

It was an amazing experience all together, The staff is quite professional and good.

A classic captive audience experience. The food was of very poor quality, the coffee was tepid and weak, and all was served in disposalble plates and cups. And it was expensive, the doughnut was £5.50

Great food. Bread is amazing... hot & fresh. We had the ox and the sea bass. Both very good. Ox was especially good, melted in your mouth.

The food is average, the decoration and atmosphere are good. The waiter was warm and friendly but not very professional. The food was served very slowly and one dish was missed.

We had breakfast here whilst stay at a different hotel. Our eggs florentine and eggs Benedict were poor and adequate at best. The hollandaise was curdled and had too much vinegar and the muffin untoasted. Service was fine and my coffee good.

Stopped by here spontaneously and had excellent food and drinks! The food was not only very good in terms of taste but also outstanding in quality. The service was good and courteous. We had a fun evening.

Lovely intimate setting, warm staff and delicious dishes. Several dishes are gluten-free and/or vegetarian. Large cocktail menu. I recommend.

We were looking for a quiet drink and light dinner. We sat at a pleasant table in the bar area and a waiter took our order. 20 minutes later I asked about the drinks and was told they were coming soon. 10 minutes later no drinks, no food. We left, hungry.

Pleasant atmosphere and impeccable staff in cordiality and service, but the hamburgers we ordered were dry, overcooked and tasteless for the price we paid. I expected more creativity, flavour and love.

Lovely friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately the burgers we had were dry, overcooked and tasteless and so expensive! Maybe just the wrong choice of food but I imagined it would be pretty hard to mess up something so basic so I’m not sure I would risk a return visit.

Great restaurant! The service was top notch and the food was really good. The gnocchi was the biggest fluffiest gnocchi I've ever had. My biggest complaints are just that I hate being made to pay for bread and they only have organic karma colas. Sometimes you just want a diet coke

The salmon is delicious and tender. Chicken breast and pea shoots are super tender together. I really like this delicious food.

We arrived late and too tired to enter the city to look for food so we decided to eat at the Bankside's hotel restaurant. The Candyflossmopolitan was good. We tried the pork terrine as a starter and I enjoyed it. The butternut squash and goat cheese gnocchi were outstanding. We also sampled the pavlova, the passion fruit brulee, and the chocolate tart for dessert. Overall the experience was good, if a little overpriced. If you're in the area I would certainly recommend eating here. The breakfast buffet (not pictured) is outstanding.

This place was the restaurant and bar inside my hotel. I never had the opportunity to have a meal here but I did enjoy two drinks at the bar one late evening. The decor is very nice and the bartender was pleasant. My only complaint is that the drink prices are on the higher end and they add an automatic service charge. There is no background or live music.

Art Yard Kitchen is a good restaurant overall. Their dishes are good, and they are prepared well. I would like to see a bit more flair or creativity in terms of flavor, however, at that price point. The drinks are good as well, with a wide selection of cocktails. The atmosphere is very nice- quiet and relaxed in the late evening. Service was good throughout the meal.

Really rather expensive for what it is, especially when it comes to cocktails and mixers… £16 cocktail ended up being £20 due to service charge AND some other charge that they add for just being there? I didn’t catch what it was called on the receipt but 12.5% of £16 doesn’t make the total bill £20… so they must have added on something else

We booked here last minute to celebrate our anniversary. It turned out to be a great choice as we had a fantastic meal. The sirloin steak was just as we like it! The staff was very friendly and attentive. Special thanks to Josh, Mela, Philip and the kitchen staff. Thank You 😊

We are regular visitors monthly to tate Britain and modern and are members over many yearsand try to support tate cafes and restaurants. Pleased to see restaurant was re opened we booked as part of our visit to guston exhibition. Sadly we had no choice but to have 2 course as we were told no we could not just choose one , my friend could not finish his steak and was refused a doggy bag . With 2 waters bill came close to £90 and service charge included for ice cold disappointing service . Sadly we will never return as whole experience felt like a rip off and was huge disappointment, when over years our visits have been wonderful lunches and dinners , something has basically gone wrong. Many places near by serving better choices at more affordable prices , and warmer service .

We have breakfast every morning at our great hotel.. Had a late night burger as well . So good 👍😊

Doesn't do brunch. Hard close on food between 11:00-12:00 on a Monday bank holiday. Disappointed.

The view is one of the best things about the café, situated on the 6th floor of Tate Modern and overlooking the river Thames and Saint Pauls Cathedral. It's nearly always busy at lunchtimes and the acoustics do mean that it feels rather clattery at times. The food counter is nicely presented albeit the menu options are a bit limited and run out very quickly, so get there early if you can. We'd gone there a few days before and there was no food at all bu 14:20. Quiche and salad(s) have been on the menu for as long as I can remember and this is probably the best option although at £16, it is quite pricey if you then add drinks and possibly a cake on top of that. Water is available by the tills. Counter staff were very friendly on the day we went. Till staff not quite so. As with most busy places, it struggles with keeping tables cleared and keeping the place looking generally looked after. That aside, if you do find a table with a view, it makes for a pleasant location and the quality of the food is not bad.

Superb food and service. The restaurant is part of the Autograph collection hotel, the interior is modern and boutiquey along with its 5 stars friendly service. Very suitable for dates or friends hang out spot.

We ate here for lunch. We have had breakfast before when staying at the hotel. Service is very pleasant, there was a mix up with the main course twice however staff were very apologetic and did put things right. It's priced well for the food and area, it's relaxed, quiet, easy going, clean and well presented. Would visit again.

Great food, quick service, reasonable price for location in London. They were out of draft IPAs and some wines were only available by the bottle, not glass. Nice surroundings, friendly staff.

Came here whilst on our most recent trip to London, had some delicious food. The ham hock was divine! It was a quiet day so not many other customers around, staff were wonderful in helping us choose a rum to go with lunch as my husband was on a special diet. Thank you would love to visit you again in the future. Highly recommend

Stumbled upon this place looking for somewhere to eat. Sat down immediately. Food was lovely, although service was not the quickest given there was only 2 other tables in the restaurant that were occupied. We finished with Espresso Martini's. Not the best, less vodka, more coffee needed. Definitely put some hairs on our chest.

Went for lunch. The place was quite empty. Ok good, but good service.

Service was good in general, however we didn’t have cutlery/napkins when our meal came out. Food was also generally good except for the sourdough small plate - which was not good. It seemed like it was almost burnt or twice toasted. We couldn’t finish it given how dry it was. The food also wasn’t as hot (temperature wise) as we’d expect it to be. Not sure if the heat lamps were in use or not. The chocolate mousse also was too chilled so the texture was more solid than it probably normally is, but we ordered it last minute so not sure if they would normally take it out to adjust to room temperature or not. Nice atmosphere and free wifi.

I went there with my girlfriend to celebrate our anniversary on Sunday 30th April . We were kindly welcomed by the team and the manager from the Gambia 🇬🇲. He and his team never left our side. He kindly went through the cocktails and described them by their colours. He recommended one for my girlfriend. At the end, he took us to the gallery and gave us a background about a few pictures. Very nice area, nice design. Nice service.

We had to queue for a long time to get our drinks and whilst we were queuing, decided that the food on offer was so lacklustre and overpriced that we would be better off leaving the Tate to get refreshments elsewhere. There is a balcony by the third floor cafe with views of the river and St Pauls, but not much else to recommend it

We always have a drink and snack at the Tate Modern Café whenever we visit the Tate Modern for an exhibition. It's always a very pleasant experience having a drink and snack in the lovely Café with views over the Thames.

I love their cappuccino. It is simply perfect. You also get to drink it with the best view in London. 100% recommended.

The fifth floor members cafe has re-opened in not the Blavatnik Building at Tate Modern. Fancied a tea and cake having been slightly underwhelmed by Rodin’s bits and pieces including a room full of torsos, heads, even raincoats for one or more studies of Balzac. I had to scan my members’ card as well as the black square patch of the NHS Covid App. It was explained that it was table only waitress service and all beverages and comestibles had to be pre-paid for by scanning yet another table app. I was then warned there might not be a free table available either outside or in. A couple behind me, however, were told a table would be available. Realising I was probably being discriminated for not being part of the optimum number of two I hurried to the only indoor table available portentously numbered 13. On accessing the menu app it soon became apparent that most drinks and foods were unavailable. Fortunately a chocolate chip and orange sponge together with a pot of jasmine tea were. I enjoyed consuming these whilst watching staff puzzling over how to accommodate a group of three. Outside the view of the millennium bridge leading to St. Paul’s and the unfamiliar site of an outdoor hockey pitch at the school directly opposite slowly darkened as the heavens prepared to open for not the first time this post-lockdown May afternoon.

My kids (ages 9 and 7) loved the Tate Modern so much, we returned for a second day. On that day we ate in the 6th floor kitchen. It was a fabulous view and the food and atmosphere were great. It was a bit pricy, but that is to be expected at a museum. We ate lunch with a perfect view of Millennium Bridge (that's the Wobbly Bridge to Harry Potter fans), duly fortified, we set out to cross it on foot.

A nice spot to have some refreshments after wandering the floors of modern art. Some great views of the river and London in general. Food and drink a little overpriced but tea and coffe pretty muck OK for London. Also getting up there a bit of a palava with the elevators being quite busy - still worth the wait though for some great photos and refreshment

Family of four took refuge from the Art to momentarily take in the London landscape and be refreshed. A few diet cokes and tea were the beverages of choice. Nice service and a lovely space.

Nice view and hot coffee. It’s a good stop for rest after the sightseeing. From the window you can enjoy the view of Tamesis, St Paul’s church and millennium bridge.

Although extremely full of people with ost tables taken, the service was slow and the choice of drinks very limited. The latte was good, but everything looked unclean. We won't come here again if we can avoid it!

It’s free to go to the museum and then go up to the bar and have a drink looking at the Millenium Bridge and St. Paul’s Cathedral at the end of it! My cousin who lived in London recommended it; after all we had done lots of walking!!!!

We came for the amazing exhibitions of Olafur Eliasson, Dora Maar and Kara walker. We just had a few bottles of water but it was nice to just sit and rest after walking around the exhibitions.

When visiting the Tate Modern and it’s exhibitions and galleries, the cafe on the ground floor, that is Level 1 Natalie Bell wing, offers a good selection of freshly made and very tasty sandwiches and drinks for your break.

Locates on level 1, in the Boiler House, this cafe offers both hot and cold refreshments. The espresso and espresso-based beverages are very good and are accompanied by snacks and bakery goods.

You are in the Tate, much to see, easy to get to and lovely to visit. Great views from the top floors. A little noisy but not so bad, and a fine place to spend an hour of a dreary day.

No había asientos en la cafetería del piso superior, así que nos dirigimos a la cafetería de la planta baja. Pedí un Americano, sin leche. Me dijeron que solo tenían café con filtro. Estaba bien, pensé, aunque en estos días es inusual que solo se le ofrezca café con filtro. Mi hermana pidió té. Solo tomamos té de Assam, le dijeron. El café fue horrible. Sabía como si hubiera estado burbujeando en la placa caliente de la máquina de filtro durante la mayor parte del día. Fue tan amargo que no pude beberlo. El té era potable (si uno es un bebedor de té) pero no podía creer que en un establecimiento como este hubiera tan poca variedad de tés o cafés. El costo era aproximadamente la mitad del salario mínimo por hora. No creo que hoy en día sea aceptable servir bebidas de esta calidad o de elección limitada.

This was your typical over priced, museum cafe. Queued a long time for 3 coffees and 3 average cakes. Very busy, just about got a seat. Wouldn't bother again.

Super simple, super good. Tasty wraps, sandwiches, salads, really good coffee. Good vegan options. Exactly what you need after a museum visit!

How can a museum cafe (often touted as very good food to match the museum's delight) be so utterly terrible? Well, it was as bad as the exhibits. The sandwich of egg and cress tasted like sawdust, and the bread was stale. Even the white wine was bad. Good grief.

Around 2pm, I went to lunch to Tate Modern Cafe and got exactly what I wanted - loved my smoked salmon, cream cheese and dill sandwich and delicious raspberry pastel de nata for dessert. Well, coffee was watery and tasteless but I expected it. Busy cafe but enough room for all. I liked their vegetarian options and nice looking cakes.

The food and presentation is always uniquely special and delicious! I was with two friends and we had coffee and sweets - sharing them. Lovely view and ambiance!

Popped in for a quick bite to eat, found some great sandwiches and desserts to tie us over. It was the perfect pit-stop in between the two Tate museums.

Between exhibitions a welcome sit down and pot of tea in the members cafe. We chose the one with the unequaled views across the river to St Paul’s as last time we came we had used the one on the other side. I prefer this one. The pot of tea was ok.

Food range/prices reasonable given location, but on a chilly spring day cafe decor oh so gloomy. Black paint may seem sophisticated but some vibrant colour highlights in an art gallery cafe might make it seem more welcoming.

Ordered an Assam tea and patiently waited at the serving area for it to appear. Was given a teapot with 'breakfast tea' shouted into my face. I obviously ignored that, presuming it was someone else's order. My delay in picking it up resulted in a second shouting, to which I said 'is that for me?' and was told firmly that it was. When I said 'I ordered Assam' I was told immediately 'they are the same'. I said that they weren't. The teenager who made it said that they were. And you get the gist of that.

Yet again, food absolutely dreadful. Service just about ok. I cannot understand that over the past 2 years nothing has changed. Food looked dreadful. Food tasted terrible. Hard chicken. Very tiny portion. Salads dreadful looking and pretty awful taste. Honestly I want to know have the top TATE STAFF eaten there. If they have eaten there, have they been asked for their opinion. It’s absolutely awful.

All art galleries should have a good cafe. It makes sense. This one is pretty ordinary though. We had tea and cakes and a good discussion about Bonnard. I wish they provided more tables. It is dispiriting to stand with your laden tray waiting for someone to move.

Great place to go and the coffee is top draw but the cups I was surprised to find were absolutely filthy.

カフェからセントポールが見え、晴れて天気が良い日はとてもキレイです。値段は普通のカフェの価格でした。

Solíamos disfrutar viniendo aquí, pero ahora que ha cambiado a autoservicio, la comida y el disfrute del espacio no tienen nada que ver con lo que solía ser. . . Lamentablemente, nos quedamos decepcionados. . . y la calidad de la comida lamentablemente se ha deteriorado. . . .

I was there, mid afternoon, February 5, for maybe 45 minutes.

Ordered our drinks, and then promptly had our table taken away from us (literally folded up and carried away the table)... when we asked what was happening, we were told "you could see the sign says the table is reserved from 3:30...we need it now". It was 5pm at this stage, and as we are clearly morons, we had assumed the people that just left had booked the table.

We had tea out on the terrace enjoying the unequaled view of St Paul’s across the water. The tea was ok. Later we had lunch in the members restaurant and took in the view of the other side of the building.

Takes advantage of captive art gallery customers offering ave food ...best asset plenty polite staff who are less stressed and seem to enjoy job more then other catering outlets.

One of the best and my favorite places in London! I’ve visited here 3 times as a tourist and now am coming here as a local. Whenever I come here, I can relax myself and enjoy everythhing here. Also the museum souveniors are so recommended!

The selection is minimal and predictable however the cake is delicious. The coffee is just right and the environment has open views with large glass windows and plug sockets for laptops!!
