Best Chinese take away in the area. The food is way more authentic and flavourful than most round here. And when they say something has chilli in it, they mean it. Which makes a change. Great Chinese food.

Placed order early at 6pm on a Saturday , delivery time given btwn 7-7.20pm which was fine. The app said the order was out for delivery at 7pm then showing as 'Enjoy your food' at 7.15pm. Nothing arrived by 7.30pm, called the restaurant at 7.34pm then our order arrived at 7.56pm. Lukewarm. Unclear of the reason given for the delay. I thought ordering early would mean it would arrive on the time indicated, as always on time on previous orders placed over the years. Food good, delivery poor.

I’ve been ordering from Tasty for years. Ordered food for a group of friends, various items from cod and chips to tofu in Thai green curry sauce, egg fried rice, chicken curry, sweet and sour - everyone said how tasty it all was, and the delivery guy is always really cheerful and friendly. Would definitely recommend

Pros: Garlic broccoli and chips were both tasty Cons: Burger (pictured) did not resemble meat. Did not eat. Satay chicken (pictured) had a gloopy sauce and slimy chicken. Beef was reformed and watery. Took a long time to receive order. Very chaotic.

Received a notification saying food was on the way about 30 minutes before it arrived. Usually this place delivers very quickly so knew it wasn't good when it took so long. As we opened the backs we could feel the sweat where the hot food had been wrapped so long. The condensation made everything soggy so rather than hot and crisp things were like warm and soggy. Disappointing.

Chinese was mostly nice and hot, very tasty! Only little moan was chicken balls batter wasn't the best, But all in all was nice

Fish and chips and Chinese takeaway. Large choice for Chinese food. Nice chips large portions. They will make to your taste if not on the menu (just ask). Salt and pepper Box is a gut buster. Gluten free (rice and noodles) available. Vegetarian options. WARNING, they do not take cards - cash only and there is no ATM close by. Takeaway only (no dine in) delivery available. Limited street parking outside.

I ordered and paid for Cod & Cheesy chips. Look at the photo, can you see the cheese? They never have anything ready and I had to wait 20 mins+ while the fryer woman talked on the phone and slowly cooked my order (I was the only person in the shop). The fish tasted undercooked. The chips like cardboard. They only take cash (no cards). There are much better chippys in the local area, I will not be returning here.

The staff are kind and friendly and helpful but the food isn't that good there as the Chicken Chow mein was was too greasy for me to eat it.

What kind of takeaway in 2023 is cash only when collecting? Decided to take a detour to McDonald’s after the cash machine I was told to drive to when trying to collect was out of order. Hope your staff enjoyed the food 👍

It was so quick, piping hot and the food was absolutely delicious!

The last three times we’ve ordered something has been missing, and we haven’t been able to get through on the phone to try sort it with the restaurant. Wait times gotten longer and longer, food quality has gotten poorer and poorer. Definitely finding somewhere new now- sad as we’ve been ordering from Tastys for years.

Stale prawn crackers, Chicken balls in the prawn balls ordered and didn't even come with sweet and sour sauce. Food arrived cold and what did turn up was mediocre at best. Meat tough and lacking in quantity and flavour. Shame as first meal from here was good. Unfortunately won't be trying again though

My son had ordered us cod & chips which were very salty & the cod had an awful smell to it, like it was off. What a waste of money!!

** Served piping hot. The main meat ingredients good quality overall. Oil and salt heavy, which is why I'm given the Food Rating 3 rather than 4 or 5. A positive customer service experience. ** Chinese Takeaway. Portions are satisfying in size. Collected in person, and the venue was clean, bright and welcoming, and the food was served quickly. Wanted to pay by card so signed up in the restaurant on their app via the QR on the menu. Staff patient and assisted me with the registration. Went for prawn toast, sweet and sour 'mixed' fried balls and special fried rice. It's always a question of personal taste, so in my opinion, the battered items were well seasoned - and the prawn toast well textured - however quite heavy on salt and oil from being deep fried - which is standard in British Chinese Takeaways for colder weather. If possible these days, for health reasons, and in the spring summer too, I prefer air fried and slightly less salt. If they can use the fresh oil for each dish frying this way even better...
