Tasty oriental in Newcastle upon Tyne

I may live not too far from it, but I've never had a problem with the food or t he service. Good value for money.

Great food for the price. The crispy chicken is amazing here, and the best Peking sauce i have had at a chinese.

Regular delivery - always on time & food hot. Try the hot & sour soup & king prawns in chilli & garlic sauce - excellent. Big bag of prawn crackers too.

My husband and I are frequent visitors as we love in the area. We normally pick up our order and never usually have an issue though this evening we opted for something different. I opted for the salt and chilli tofu which is normally out of this world amazing though tonight I’m left sad and dissatisfied with my tofu as it is rock solid crispy and completely inedible- though piping hot so it’s obviously been reheated or sat for a while. Like I said, we’re frequent visitors so this saddens me.. :(

Been going to the same Chinese takeaway for years & happy with it however this 1 was a bit closer to where I live so I popped in on my way back from work. There were 2 guys slouching on the sofas chatting to the British woman behind counter who I found a bit bland - no friendly customer service with a smile. I only ordered salt & pepper chips -& asked for them to be left open - they came in a takeaway carton which was fine but no offer of a fork. The place was freezing whilst waiting. I’ve had lthese chips before over the years & although they were hot & fresh they had hardly any green peppers & far too much chilli - first time I didn’t enjoy them & I felt unwell afterwards. It wasn’t a good experience overall & Im glad I hadn’t bought a meal there - I won’t be going back - I,d rather travel a bit further to my long term Chinese takeaway.
