Been our main go to Chinese for years and years and never had a bad experience. Food had always been fantastic and can’t beat the prices

There food is so lovely but they’ve changed the size of the curry sauce in the munchie box to almost half the size of the small munchie box so you get a lot less food for the increased price which is a bit annoying. Please think about changing it back to a smaller carton or putting the price back down

Food is typically very good. Highly recommended the honey chili chicken and salt and chili chips. The duck has been very disappointing on several occasions hence 4 stars.

The worst chicken and prawn chop suey ever. More like soup. Ingredients floating in tasteless coloured water with vegetables well overcooked. Wishing I'd gone the chippy.

Local, fast food. Some different options like pad Thai. The salt and chilli tofu is amazing, as are the salt and chilli chips. Had the stir fry mixed veg in chilli garlic and it was very tasty. Portions are great size and price is good. Would recommend.

Cold food, arrived late, didn’t listen to the comments, undercooked chips still crunchy in the middle. Save yourself the disappointment and go somewhere else.

Ordered the most revolting food ever. I had to throw it in the bin. They should not be able to sell that *@&!

Food delivered quickly house special chop suey spot on very tasty, But sorry to say the 5 in 1 with curry sauce when opened it was covered in sweet and sour sauce ended up in the bin as no one likes sweet and sour sauce in our house hold title waste of money.

Food was tasteless and dry, chips were not fresh, will not be ordering ever again don't waste your money.

The best tastiest Chinese food, with flavour I have had up here, this takeaway is well under rated in my opinion. the food is cooked really well and not over done or under just perfect, you can tell someone knows how to cook here. I had the sweet and sour prawn in batter, house special fried rice, prawn toast and spare ribs. I like my food cooked well and quality too. Delicious!!!!!!!!

I have ordered from here twice in March 2021. The first time the delivery was 30 minutes late and the Pad Thai dish was basically prawns and noodles with no vegetables except a few strips of onion and maybe two pieces of green pepper. Disappointing but not so terrible that it put me off ordering again. The second order was two days ago and this time it was delivered about 45 minutes early (they obviously have bad time management skills). The crispy beef with fried rice looked and tasted awful. I'm not even convinced there was even any beef in it as it was a strange color and tasted like it was just lumps of oily batter. The fried rice was completely tasteless. I threw most of the food away and am thankful that I did. I was vomiting during the night and had an upset tummy the next day, and had I eaten more of it I'm sure I would still be poorly now. I will certainly not be ordering from Rice KungFu again.

We waited over 2 hours tonight for our takeaway. We tried constantly to get through on the phone and it was always “user busy”. When the order finally arrived, the food was awful. The curry was powdery and the Kung Po was tasteless. Both ended up in the bin. We had to make the kids something to eat as it got too late for them! Disappointed is an understatement and if I could give zero stars, I would! We will never use this Chinese again or recommend it to anyone.

Really tasty. Would recommend the honey chilli chicken. Vermicelli not as flavoursome as elsewhere but still nice. Big portions of prawn crackers. Thank you :)

Their Kungfu fried rice is really worth it.

Vile. Ordered salt and pepper chicken and 2 5 in 1s. Salt and pepper chicken was vile, no flavour apart from a weird horrible taste, didn’t taste fresh at all. My partner found a small black hair in his food too so couldn’t even finish it. £16.60 for that. Emailed to complain (as stated on website) no answer, rang the shop The next day and got spoken to disgustingly and told I should have rang up so they could take away my half eaten meal. Can’t help because he didn’t work that day, shouting down the phone at me because THEY leave hairs in their food then sell it. Disgusting won’t be going back especially after that customer service and certainly wouldn’t recommend.

Have not been here for years nd years obviously when I pulled up its different owner to the 1 I was used to. Starving so gave it a try.. King prawn chow mein and curry sauce.. Was really lovely 1 small negative... It could have been hot

Does not deserve even half star, bad service I got my food after 2 hours. The food was so bad. I am not recommended and will advise my friends do not get a food there.

We love this place, have never been disappointed, kids favourite meals. Food is always tasty, fresh and warm.

Decent food at a reasonable price.

First time we've ordered from here and it will be the last. Big order, arrived almost half an hour late. Rice was hot but very dry, chow mein was nothing more than barely warm noodles and beef with few peppers and onions that were almost raw and no sauce.Chips were warm and dry, some over done. Curry was covered with a layer of grease! Absolutely terrible food!

Where to start.... Ordered food at 7.30pm to be given a delivery time of 1hr... Fair enough....but instead of it coming around then it finally arrived at 10.15pm !!! The food was absolutely awful.... All of the order was stone cold, badly cooked with lumps of boiled rice in the " fried " rice.... £3.60 for salt & chilli chips which were just plain £1.80 chips... The sweet and sour sauce was extremely watery. I did ring the takeaway many times but, to be honest, I may as well have asked the cat for all the sense I got from the indifferent staff. Avoid this place like the plague and we'll never be ordering from here again.

Absolutely vile. Wouldn’t recommend. Noodles plain and tasted old. Crispy shredded chicken in honey sauce all soft and jelly like. Batter on chicken balls was soggy. Waste of £25! Not fresh.

Salt and pepper chicken was good. Bit worried the shredded beef tasted nothing like beef ate two pieces binned the rest.

We still use this Chinese dispite moving out of the Fenham area. Travel 20 mins to get it. Chicken curry, honey chilli crispy chicken and beef in black bean we would highly recommend. Great! Used this place at least 100 times !

Onion in food when asked not to food cold and bland phoned up and was offered £5 back off a £30 meal that was thrown in bin will never eat hear again

Just had house special chow mein and fried rice from and I'm massively disappointed, this was my favourite chinese for ages but the last 2 I have had have been shocking, the meat tonight was tough overcooked and seemed microwaved to within an inch of its life, the rice was dry and bland and the noodles were rubbery and just awful! I hate doing things like this but would hate others to waste money like I have tonight! If I could give no stars I would!

Curry was disgusting meat was hard king prawns were tiny and not fresh never order again food went in the bin.

Cannot explain how annoyed I am. We've done 100s of orders over the years and this place has 0 loyalty. Ordered multiple meals today. Noodles was sent with the meal not rice. I was told to go along and pick it up as it will take to long to deliver. He said the other option is to get a discount on the next meal.. I asked how much and its a rice on the next order... The whole meals ruined but we only receive the discount of a rice? Wont be back again.

This is a great Chinese take away. Food always on time when you go to collect and it's always delicious. Some menu items will obviously be better than others so you do have to experiment a little bit here and there. Also when ordering for delivery always remember you run the risk of your food getting delivered late and cold. Hence why I opt to pick it up. But understandably not everyone has that option. Give it a try. Reviews on Just Eat will be more reliable than on Google as there are far more reviews on there. Goodluck and enjoy

For a number of years this shop has been one of the best Chinese takeaways in Newcastle, people would travel from as far as Hexam. Ant and Dec used to eat from here in their younger days. Since Rice Kungfu took over the standards lowered and have continued to get worse. I don't think we will be eating from here any more as the food is less than moderate now

I ordered a meal tonight, it arrived swiftly however it was extremely cold, don’t even think they heated it up, looks like it was bunged into carton and delivered this is appalling. I will never order again

Ordered from here 3 times in total, each time the order has been well over an hour to arrive - cold and not very tasty. The app offers a free gift once reaching a certain amount which I have never received - told on the third occasion the order amount wasn't high enough - why offer it on the app then?!

I used to go here alot used to be really nice then I ordered one a month ago and it had a ball of cling film stuck in the middle of my Singapore noodles so the man came out took them away and gave me the money back for that dish. Then ordered Tuesday gone and in the middle of my chicken rice was part of a metal scourer thank God my kids never ate it I rang up and all he said was I will take some money off next time you order I said I won't be ordering again I still have the part of metal scourer in my kitchen can honestly say it put me off my food 30 pound of food wasted disgusting

Not nice food, got order wrong multiple times. Last order missed 3 things out. Not going there ever again.

Ordered from here a few times over the past month and each time has pretty good, a little pricey, but worth it for me. Once once have I ever had anything to gripe about and it was just that the battered sweet and sour chicken was a little over crispy but was pretty good overall.

Had take aways from this place several times. This time will be the last to my disappointment. Tasted lovely but something not right- after 1/2 hours felt like a brick in my stomach and ended up vometing the whole thing up. Very disappointed and will NOT order from here ever again.
