Perfect as usual the value munch is so worth it shared between 3, plentiful, tasty and fab quality food

Ordered 2 salt & pepper munch boxes. Arrived early, hot and was really tasty. will definitely be trying other dishes from here soon.

I've always had spare ribs in garlic and chilli sauce 😋 main course beef in green chilli and garlic sauce.

Food: excellent. Definitely the best Chinese food I've had since as long ago as I can remember. recommended. Delivery: Delivery guy was great, I really appreciated that he left the bag at the reception desk, so it was brought up to my hotel room by a member of staff. Unusual perhaps, but flexibility is a strong characteristic to have. All round, an easy ten out of ten. I would definitely have takeaway from this source in the event of my coming down to the Newcastle area again. 👍

Ordered a chips,noodles and gravy, when it came I received chips noodles and sweet and sour, when we rang the Chinese the lady on the phone was very rude and asked us to try it to prove it wasn't gravy when tried it was clear it was sweet and sour. I had also ordered a gravy sauce which came clearly mixed with sweet and soure, will not be ordering from here again, avoid at all costs

Honestly for the quality and portion sizes for what i order myself the house special chow mein i will never choose another takeaway - easily a 10/10 nowhere gives you this quality and quantity , when you call they might seem ignorant and rude but if you have a general enquiry about changing something on a dish they will 100% help you allways - i reccomend this place to my friends all the time , thank you to the whole team here

The food wasn’t up to standard today, the chips were old looking and dry and the black bean was so watery. We didn’t get any prawn crackers free as we spent over £30 and usually get prawn crackers. Usually this place is lovely

We have been going to Mei Mei for years and it is hands down the best Chinese in Newcastle. Food never misses - always class, always fast and tastes so good!

We ordered the food with an amendment in the comment, which has been fulfilled previously. This time, however, the amendment was not met. Leaving the food arriving soggy. I phoned up to request a replacement. They refused both replacement and refund. The staff were dismissive and rude despite it being their mistake.

Rude staff. Incorrect food. Refused to give refund even though food sat untouched and they said they would provide a refund if someone came and picked it up. Would avoid.

Food came soggy, cold, and incorrect. When trying to speak to the restaurant regarding a refund / sending out a replacement they were very rude, dismissive and difficult. Even though the food is untouched they are refusing to give money back for their mistake. Avoid.

ordered a takeaway waited 90 minutes for this to turn up, ordered chicken egg fu young and this was either mixed meat or the chicken was very discoloured so couldn't eat this.

Delivery was early even though it was a Saturday night, really pleased with that, delivery driver was courteous and friendly.Salt and pepper box was spot on, well seasoned and the food was piping hot. I would definitely order from here again.

Don’t no if it’s new people that run it now but I used to order regular from here till Tonight. I ordered a small meal then was giving a delivery time of two hours then my partner orders and it’s 45 minutes. Cool I won’t be ordering again from here

Loverly food all cooked fresh 40% off so we paid £26 for a feast and it didn’t disappoint

Worst Chinese food ever,ordered house special fried rice there was only tiny bits of meat 3 king prawns ,the salt n pepper chicken was rank also the rice and ribs ,would never order from there again .

I got rice instead of chips. The rest was ok

My food turned up cold the meat was hard , the chow mein was full of grease and I was sick everywhere and I ring up and told him him on the phone (he said do WHAT YOU WANT) and I asked him for a refund and he just laughed didn’t care wouldn’t not be going here again in my life

Always love Mei Mei, was slightly underwhelmed last night, there was barely half a tray of fried rice and it has burnt bits and the chips weren’t the best. Everything else was great as always. Arrived in good time.

Recently moved and been looking for a go to Chinese for months, best I’ve had food lovely boiling hot and came early. Unbelievable

2 and half hours later still no food! Keep getting told its with driver but its clearly not! Total joke

Ordered at 18:50, delivery time was between 20:10 and 20:30 which seemed quite a long time. At 20:30 I was told 20:50. Then had to ring up at 20:50 for another update. Food eventually turned up at 21:10. Food was nice, it always is. But the delivery times are getting worse.

Delivery driver was disgusting! We live in a shared 3 story house and stay on the top floor so it is hard to hear the door at times. He was banging on the door extremely hard it was shocking. Then proceeded to shout and swear at me at the door after I explained why its hard for us and that he could have used the phone number provided, he then left the food on the wall in front of the house for me to walk over and get it! I hope that this delivery driver is dealt with as his behaviour was terrible
