Tasty Kitchen Epsom in Epsom and Ewell

Amazing authentic Malaysian restaurant located within a food court/ bar building in Epsom city centre. Tried laksa and beef rendang today - both very authentic and tasty! Reasonable prices. Would definitely come back!

We had the Malaysian curry laksa that had chicken, fish balls and tofu. The portion size was decent and the flavour was excellent. I have given it 4 stars as the price at £12.50 is a bit high for a take away meal and the rice noodles was slightly undercooked. I would give this place another try as it is one of the few places in South West london that do a good laksa

Love this place so much and my favourite meal from here is Katsu curry chicken from the Authentic Malaysian Cuisine! I love the vibe here and everyone is so nice!

Tasty Kitchen is truly a godsend - it is the only place serving deliciously authentic Malaysian food in this neck of the Surrey woods. And my opinion is based purely on takeaways that my wife has been bringing home to me. I have no doubt that fresh would be even better but, unfortunately, I haven’t yet had the opportunity of visiting in person (hence my not providing ratings for service and atmosphere).

Absolutely amazing. Authentic Malaysian food is hard to find out of London but this place is a gem. The nasi lemak was better than the ones I've had in Malaysia. The beef rendang is out of this world. I would highly recommend the food is ten out of ten.

We had a chicken Katsu curry and the Nasi Lemal with beef rendang. Both were delicious and the best chicken Katsu curry we’ve had in a long time! Food was clearly fresh and very tasty!

Staff was very friendly. However food quality is below standard… I ordered a fried chicken katsu curry rice. The fried chicken was very dry and thin. Maybe it’s overdone… (I felt like eating biscuits instead of meat）

We had a lovely time at Tasty Kitchen. The beef rendang was tender and we really enjoyed the unusual starters. It's a family run restaurant where you're sure to try something delicious. Definitely recommend.

I expected a salad, and they brought me two small pieces of cucumber and two small pieces of onion. In the photo of the salad, there was a large portion, but they did not bring a salad, but just 10 grams of vegetables. I was shocked and disappointed. It is not service

Tasty Kitchen has a really tasty menu, even fir Vegetarians. Loved Malaysian curry Laksa veg version, spicy hot and too big portion. Atmosphere is wonderful to take with kids, with many board games to keep them occupied.

Really authentic and delicious. Run by passionate Malaysian couples. Definitely worth visiting!

We were very lucky to try a number of items from their menu! Everything is so authentic and made with years of experience and a lot of care. It's a laid back experience being within Epsom Social and we would recommend coming here at any time for a friendly relaxed atmosphere. Malaysian food is generally spicy and sweet but they have a very cute children's meal that isn't spicy (see pics). Lor mai gai was so soft that it almost melts in the mouth, something I've eaten hundreds of times before but not like this! It's a sticky chewy glutinous rice mixture steamed with chicken, chinese mushrooms and chinese sausage. Laksa obviously didn't disappoint, just look at the picture. A day later and I'm still thinking about the curry puff... a smooth mixture of chicken, potato and curry spices inside this crispy savoury pastry, this is definitely their speciality and I would come here just for this. You can tell by the layering of the pastry that this is made by an expert. They come in twos luckily, because I won't be sharing my next one. The beef rendang is a spicy dish that is not for weaklings like myself, but even I can taste that it is delicious under the heat and the beef just falls apart. Siu bao is a type of char siu bun, a sweeter version than I'm used to, but so delicious and definitely a welcome treat after a sumptuous meal. After all that, there's gelato stall a few metres away, yummy!
