Excellent service and absolutely fantastic food! This is the only Indian we've found locally that serves dosa's and they are amazing. several dishes i hadn't tried before and they were all superb. So glad to have found a new favourite Indian.

Food was so delicious and appetising and the service was really great too.. I recommend Oottupura for everyone.

Party of 4.We were the only ones in there.Waitres was vert peasant and helpful but very slow to get food Good job it wasn't busy.Had chicken biriani not a lot of it but plenty of rice.

I finally found a place that makes properly good parotta! Crispy, flaky, soft perfection that, when paired with Chettinad Chicken, melts in the mouth! I’ve been chasing my parotta craving for almost a year now – and even a string of restaurants in India had failed to scratch that itch. I’m very glad that I’ve found this place! Apart from the Kerala Parotta and Chicken Chettinad, we had Malabar Biriyani, Beef cutlet, Mango lassi, lemon juice, and Pazhampori Beef. They were all pretty good, but the parotta was the absolute standout for me and what would keep me coming back for more.

We went to this restaurant a few days ago. They serve traditional Kerala style food—100% authentic, unlike other restaurants where authenticity is not justified. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed the warm welcome and service provided. The staff were very polite and friendly; overall we had a very good time and food. Highly recommended.

I waited for 45 minutes just to order, and finally had to move out in disgrace. Can not expect such poor management. Service is too slow even when only two other tables were occupied.

We had an amazing and a delicious dinner which made us quite nostalgic about our homeland! Must try Chicken chettinad, Beef ularthiyathu with some parrotta and not to forget our very own Ada pradaman. The ambience was great and we met a lovely UK elderly couple who loves their food. But be cautious, it will take loads of time for your food to arrive however, be sure it will be piping hot. Apart from that, we also felt some dishes were a bit overpriced. So altogether, a good place to have your tummy full and get nostalgic!

Had an amazing lunch, the food tasted fresh and yummy. Also could see the effort put into the cooking as it tasted really good.

Great authentic Sri Lankan food, served with a smile. The Chicken 65, a 65-year old recipe is a winner. The vadai and the dosai are must haves! The masala chai gave me the boost I needed that day. It made the Birthday lunch for my dear gal pal special, thank you!

Went to ootupura for the first time last weekend. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We were told to expect delays as they only prepare dishes on order. This was really helpful as we knew we will have to wait a bit to get the food. Coming to the food, we had biriyani and it was average. I’ve had better ones for the same price range elsewhere. The portion size of adapradhaman was really small and was very disappointed. Even though the quantity was small it was very delicious. Overall a decent restaurant with friendly staff.

Visited just over a week ago with a large group. Attentive and polite staff and service. Tasty South Indian food and nice ambience. I highly recommend Oottupura for fans of decent South Indian food. Ordered Chicken 65 and Cauliflower 65 for starters, bith excellent. The dosas and masala dosas were crisp and delicious. The sambar, idli and vada were also fantastic. Mango lassi was thick and creamy.

Great south India cuisine. We tasted Chicken lollipop Dahi Vada Beef Ullarthiyathu Salmon Kodampully curry All of them were excellent. The order did take time to come but for a good reason of fresh and tastiness. Will be returning for sure again when I visit Epsom.

10/10. New go-to spot for our south indian/kerala food fix. Beef Ularthiyath is spot on. Best Porotta I’ve had in London by far. Appam + aleppey fish curry is a decent combo as well.

Authentic Kerala cusine. Parotta was spectacular, so flakey and so many layers…it was a dream…, so was the rest of the dishes. We had Kappa and beef and it was so on point. Meen pollichathu is superb!! Chicken Korma was the best accompaniment for the Parotta. I’ll be honest, Thalassery Biriyani wasn’t great. I was expecting the tiny rice grains (Kaima rice) as you would in this type of biriyani but I was disappointed to see Basmati. Regardless, I’m not reducing a star because the staff were friendly and service was excellent! The restaurant is clean and hygienic too, and a lot of Kerala restaurants I’ve been to in London aren’t. So I’m pleasantly surprised to have found this place !

One of the very few restaurants serving authentic Kerala food in London. Was really impressed by the taste and presentation. The lady serving was really pleasant as well. Will definitely be returning.

The chechi who served the food was really lovely and the only concern i have was with the portion size.. Still i would say awesome.

I recently had a fantastic meal at this restaurant – the food was delicious and beautifully presented. Their menu had a lot of dishes and they are affordable. The service was also excellent and the ambiance was cozy and inviting. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

Just had the masala dosa, uthappam and Gobi 65. Very tasty and great service, highly recommend the sambar!

The food was delicious. Lots of vegetarian options and a really good atmosphere. I lived the different specialties served and how unique it was. The Gulab Jamun was AMAZING!

We visited this restaurant on Sunday evening and pleasantly surprised with very authentic south Indian (kerala) food. The specials were delicious and really special (which is rare nowadays!). The lamb and chicken were just perfect and so does kerala parotta. Service was good and we were happy that we found this nice place.!

Delicious is an understatement! Amazing alleppy fish curry with an incredible sauce. Fantastic lamb curry too. Paratha’s were so delicious that we ordered more during the meal. The lady serving was so sweet and kind. We will definitely be coming back 👍

Delicious food with great hospitality. Our dining experience at Oottupura restaurant was nothing short of spectacular. The cutlets as starters had perfect balance of flavours. Among the other starters, the buffalo pepper fry is also a must try! Appam and chicken chettinadu was a great combination and a must try. We also ordered Malabar Chicken biriyani which had tender chicken pieces perfectly complementing the aromatic rice. The hospitality of the staffs and the owner is commendable. I would recommend Oottupura restaurant to anyone who fancy an authentic Kerala dining experience.

Absolutely amazing food. The biryani was unbelievable and dosas soooo good, better than Saravana Bhavan. The malabar prawn and chettinad lamb were gorgeous also, beautifully spicy.

I am from Mumbai and I really miss Indian, home cooked, authentic meals. I had recently ordered mango curry and appam. Wow! It was delicious and so glad to taste something unique.

We tried Malabar chicken biriyani.. but that was not upto the standard.. its was just a normal biriyani and even the quantity was very less.. we went there with our non-keralite frnds with so much expectations but we were really disappointed.

This restaurant is a hidden gem! We absolutely loved the food. We were served by a lovely girl named Rhiannon who was really attentive and so friendly, she gave us the best service. I would say it was slightly pricey, so maybe save this restaurant for a special occasion. If you’re looking for a local restaurant with good food, this is the one for you.

A bit of an under-appreciated South-Indian restaurant in stoneleigh, maybe because it doesn't serve the over commercialised north Indian food. Unlike other restaurants, some dishes taste quite homely. We ordered prawn-coconut-fry starter, fish curry and lamb-spinach curry with 2 chapattis, 2 Kerala parotha, ghee-rice and mango lassi which was a bang for the buck at 52. Staff is very down to earth and humble and will ensure your dining experience is great. Im just wondering what to order on my next visit... :)

A hidden gem of South Indian food. Have been several times and it's always tasty, reasonably priced, and has friendly staff. Particularly enjoyed the masala dosa, the fish special and the channa masala last time. Highly recommended!

The menu dishes have been tested to be fantastic but I urge you to try out the chef’s special written on the black board especially the masala grilled sea bass- mind blowing

This is one of our favourite Indian restaurants. Particularly good because it's true to south Indian cuisine. The food has been getting even better with the arrival of their new chef. Brilliant for Onam celebrations.

We ordered 3 course kerala dinner today for 16 people. I have to say that the food was absolutely delicious and authentic. You can feel that they have put their best effort in each dish. They catered to our request to make the dish mild for the children to eat. The charge was only reasonable and every single one of us enjoyed it. Thank you very much for the service.

Refreshing to have a lovely Indian meal from southern India, popped in here on the off chance had a lovely masala Dosa to start with and delicious King fish curry. Good friendly service, superb value for money.

Authentic "mallu" cuisine and wonderful service 👍. My 7 year old is bit of a fussy eater but polished it off saying "spicy but tasty"! Chef Sunny was really friendly and made us feel special. Would definitely return!

We had been to this place for Onam Sadhya recently. Despite of having a table booked, we had to wait 10-15 mins before seated. And the owner asked if we had paid the deposit, but no one asked for a deposit to be paid at the time of booking. After 15 mins, we were given a table and it took another 10 mins before the food was served. All this time, the owner was very rude, maybe it’s his personality but it was putting us off. When he heard my husband tell me we should put all of this in a review, he started being nice to us, serving us himself. I completely understand and that this was a busy evening but they should have planned accordingly with more people to serve or taken less bookings. The food, however, was really good and very authentic which is why the 3 stars. The flavours and ingredients used were very original to Kerala. I would probably go again to this place at an off peak time though.

Very average food and absolutely ride owner. We had been to this restaurant for Onam dinner. Food was average and was served cold. The staff were not serving the food unless we call them and ask for it. So zero hospitality. The reason for giving 1 star is , we had been with two 4 year old children. We had fed then dinner before going to the restaurant so we decided not to take the meal for them. Instead asked the owner if they can just have a small plate to nibble some food from our plates. Both the kids hardly ate 4 spoons of rice from our plates. The restaurant owner got soo annoyed for asking an extra small plate and spoon. He Did not serve any food to our table instead sent his team members. Finally when it was time to pay the bill we asked him to include our 4 year olds food bill given his attitude. (kids meal was half price. £19 for a full meal. ). He charged us £12 per child. Absolutely unfair.

Absolutely incredible Onam Sadhya! I’ve had beef fry and parotta from here before and that was incredible too. Service is first class and I love how they never compromise quality. Must try Kerala food!
