Best biryani in south London After moving from India I tried so many places for good biryani but I was never happy Until I tried this place It was absolutely delicious it wasnt dry paneer was good it was good quantity Super happy will definitely buy again Highly recommend

Saffron is my go-to Indian takeaway. The food is always fresh & authentic. The Chicken Naga is always a winner if you like spicy food.

One of the most disgusting chicken tikkas I have had yesterday! An absolute no go! The sauces were watery and tasteless. And the tikkas had a bad stale smell! The nun roti was bland taste as well and sweet af!

New years order for two, missed one main dish out (biryani) and 40 minutes later still waiting. Very disappointed 😞

Ordered for delivery. Curry was bland, poppadom was stale and crushed to pieces, peshwari naan was full of overly sweet mush, bhajees were also stale, chicken had squidgy bits in it. Never had such a bad Indian in my life.

Ordered a chicken curry and nan Bread for collection . The quality of chicken was poor . Dry and chewy and non edible.(wonder how old the chicken might be) All the chicken pieces went to the bin . When I called to complain , the manager did not seem to care much . Avoid this place as quality was very bad .

I finally had the opportunity to visit Saffron after hearing fantastic reviews from friends and work colleagues, and the experience lived up to the high expectation set. The food was tasty, perfecspiced with great ingredients.The food was well presented and served up quickly and piping hot by the staff, who hustled around the restaurant with smiles on their faces serving clients quickly and efficiently. The service was impeccable, and despite being a busy night, I never had to wait long and was looked after.

Ordered from Saffron not expecting much but surprisingly the food was really good, had to collect so can’t comment on how efficient they are if I ordered online for delivery. Will definitely ordering again and has recommended already to my friends who also live local.

We ordered a takeaway for 3 for the first time from Saffron. Used their online service and the food came an hour later Food was hot, fresh and tasted outstanding. One of the best curries we had in a longtime. Each item was tasty and fresh. Definitely will be ordering again and also planning to visit.

The food was very delicious. The service was excellent as well. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone who likes Indian food.

We have used Saffron a few times, trying different dishes each time and they are always delicious. Using their website to order is a breeze and deals are great value. One of the few Indian restaurants who know how to make the hottest curries, genuinely hot but still remaining flavourful.

Waited nearly 1 hour and 30 minutes for the food despite being a 10 minute drive away. Had to call the restaurant twice to chase this up although it said delivered on JustEat. Hope the food is worth this wait although I’m too hangry to care now. Hope others get better delivery service when they’re hungry. Edit - food is nice

I had dansak lamb and keema naan, very good quality, tender lamb and a good level of spice for me. I would recommend only ordering direct and not through Uber eats or any third party.

Delicious food, speedy delivery

We waited over 2 hours from the point of placing our order to delivery. The main meal arrived luke warm. As all the dishes were chicken based we did not want to risk eating the dishes so threw the whole takeaway in the bin. The peshwari naan was freezing cold, the poppadums were smashed to smithereens. We did not receive any contact from the restaurant whatsoever to say our order was late. We’d ordered a takeaway to save cooking on my birthday - this was very disappointing & completely unacceptable.

Regular customer at Saffron and best curry in the area. Hiccup once the curry was not to the usual standards and one of the management team salah was super helpful, had a new curry sent out and was extremely pleasant and easy to deal with. Will definitely be continuing to order from these guys, food and service is perfect.

Sitting here with quarter eaten curry. The Nan is like a sawdust it is so stale and tasteless The chicken is more like leather chewy and tough as old boots and the coconut rice doesn't taste like coconut. Waited an hour for food to be delivered less than a minute from the shop by car. Had a very long day and needed food and didnt' want to cook, now too late to bother with anything else and lighter in the pocket as well. So disappointed as previous orders have been fab. Time to find a new curry house.

I had a beautiful curry yet again. The Manager actually delivered our food personally due to unforseen absent staff that day. Such a wonderful kind man. The restaurant has wonderful tasty dishes and great offers. Will never go anywhere else.

Took over 2hrs to deliver, excuse was I'm too far, called about 10 times, each time they said, 10mins away. Food was tasteless, lack of spices and very poor quality. Will never use them again

Have used this place about 20 times and it is always tasty, consistent in quality and very good value (particularly if you order with the discount from the site. They are always courteous with the delivery and even the time estimates for the delivery are pretty accurate (not always the case). I would highly recommend this takeaway.

We were looking for a methi chicken equivalent locally compared to Midlands and I was blown away by the taste. I absolutely loved this dish, the masala was just right, not too spicey and chicken succulent. Only thing is that the sauce had some sugar in it as its a pre made sauce as my husband is diabetic so next time will order without but I am fine with it as it is. I will definitely be ordering from Saffron again and become a regular.

Just had a takeaway from Saffron tonight. It was amazing. Nothing was wrong. The Popadoms were an excellent touch Sheek kebab had excellent flavour and could taste a lot of spice. Not over spicy but right level. Chicken madras was very tasty and not over hot. I’ve had madrases before from other places and it’s been as hot as a vindaloo so you cannot taste the flavours. Well I could taste my madras just right. Plenty of chicken and a nice rich sauce. Rice and Bombay was nice. Potatoes had great flavour and nice texture. The manager spoke to me tonight and was really friendly and such a cool chap. I will come back.

I ordered through Uber Eats just before 7pm. Im still waiting for my order. Called restaurant and got given some excuses. Then told they can offer free poppadoms. Not good enough. 8.25pm still waiting for my food. Im not impressed. I can't comment on food i havent received. I wont be ordering from them again.

Ordered at 6:10 on a birthday, the app said delivery would be around 7:05, no order received, called the place 6 times and left 2 messages , no response at all, I had to go to the restaurant myself and confront them, they acted as if nothing was wrong and agreed to give me a bottle of coke as a sorry, pathetic, the food was delivered around 8:20, not quite sure why they can’t answer the phone Food was very good but the entire birthday night was ruined by annoyance due to an operating business refusing to answer the phones

It took me long time to find another great Indian take away. The food is amazing, not too spicy , not too oily , not too salty just the right amount of everything. My order arrived almost an hour late. The lamb rogon I ordered was mainly sauce with big chunks of tomato and hardly any lamb! Overall, very disappointed by my experience today.

We ordered our dinner today for 2. We had enough food for 4 people with the bill coming to around £30. All dishes were yum and best of all we had our order delivered hot.. not warm but nice and hot. Loved the chicken tandoori and tikka. We have ordered from here several times and this time we loved it even more. Keep up the good work.

We had a takeaway from here which was decent quality and the delivery was nice and quick. We had a lamb pasanda, lamb korai plus other sides. All pretty tasty though it was a shame that whilst the naan was nice and soft, it was meant to have cheese in but didn't have any!

Not really authentic curry. As a person who has been to India and Sri Lanka multiple times really, I’m disappointed with their Masala. Way to sweet, so be aware when ordering any Masala curry

Hands down the best Indian takeaway in Surrey. I've tried so many since I've moved and I could never find the right one, I've had bland curries, small portions etc. then I was looking online for more near me and saw this place and thought, worth a try? The Vindaloo I ordered was unbelievably good, nice thick sauce, not tomatoey, very spicy and the portion was amazing. I'd highly recommend this place. The starter is a really big portion as well, very generous with complimentary dishes. This is now my go-to restaurant, my family also love this place now and has stopped going to their regular. Oh and they're the most friendliest people as well! This place is the real deal. Take it from someone who loves a curry, you won't be disappointed. 5*
