Tasty House Chinese Takeaway in Gravesham

Ordered for a delivery at 5.30pm. No food delivered till 7pm. Checked food. Missing chicken balls. Rung them n they said what would you want. I said chicken balls..that was at 7.05pm. The guy just turned up here at 8.20pm. Not hot. Not even warm...shocking. not using them again. I rated them really well couple of years ago. Whether they have changed owners,I don't know.but won't be using them anymore

We had recently moved to the area and wanted to try the local takeaways. We were a little let down by Tasty House. The mixed starter was very much on the small side, the rice was drowned in soy sauce. The main course duck dish was extremely bland. I don’t think we’ll be rushing back in a hurry!

This was the first time we've ordered from here. It was delicious, delivery was prompt will be ordering again.

1st time we have tried this takeaway, we got told it would be 40 min, 20 min later it was here, food was hot and tasty, glad we used this place will defiantly use them again.

Good menu and well cooked. Good value as well.

We pre ordered on Christmas Eve at lunch time and received an email one hour before delivery was due in the evening to cancel the order. When we rang they said it was due to them being busy and actually they don’t do pre-orders!! So why was it on Just Eat then!! Ordered from LuckyDragon instead, the food was really lovely and £14 cheaper than it would have been with Tasty House. Needless to say won’t bother with Tasty House ever again.

A total waste of £48 I would not recommend. Not just the taste but it even smells disgusting. It went straight into the bin. It was supposed to be a nice Christmas eve treat. However our usual Chinese doesn't open on a Monday and so we thought we would try this one. NEVER AGAIN.

Ordered for value but the free coke never arrived very disappointed and refused to bring us one we spent over £40 first time ordering so not good atall , the prawn toast I would like to know where the prawn is looks like plan bread 😬will not be ordering again

Tasteless, greasy and ingredients were awful. The most disgusting takeaway I’ve had for years. Will never come here again.

I have been using this Chinese Takeaway for 8 years...When I first started using this takeaway an older man ran it and was in my opinion the best Chinese in Gravesend, since about 4 or 5 years ago a younger gentleman has taken over and again my opinion is his running the place into the ground...I have remained loyal (even when they gave me food poisoning) until the final straw tonight...The rice BURNT the curry sauce WATERY AND FISHY the chicken balls MUSHY the prawns BURNT and the prawn crackers STALE...I advise anyone going to use this takeaway to stay clear...You don't know what you'll be getting, most probably NON EDIBLE...

Do not order from here. Opened our beef dish to find it FREEZING cold. Literally, frozen! To then add insult to injury when I opened our lamb dish it had a long back thick hair sat on top of it. Disgusting!! I would never eat/order from here again.

Ordered our food Christmas Eve 7:15pm to be delivered for 8:30pm once all the family were home from work. Was told that they were at least an hour behind but I said it was fine as ours was for 8:30 anyway. 10:40pm after lots of phone calls we were told by the girl taking the orders who found it rather funny that our delivery was lost. Well we have the last laugh. Have ordered from this Chinese takeaway for more than 10 years but not and more.

Vile! Prawns not properly cleaned. Tasteless and bland. Inedible. The whole lot went in the bin. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

1) Prawn balls - uncooked batter and UNCLEANED prawns; 2) sweet & sour sauce - would have been less sweet to eat a whole jar of jam; 3) crispy shredded beef - not crispy, not shredded, pure gristle 4) chicken chow mein - bland and gloopy! 5) egg fried rice - no egg, and a weird brown/grey colour rice. We telephoned the Not-So-Tasty House to complain and the manager offered us discount on our next order......... Laughable! We threw the lot in the bin and saved ourselves from, at best, a disappointing meal and, at worst, food poisoning.

We were very disappointed. Prawn toast and spring rolls were very soggy. Ribs were literally solid pork. At least a week old. Triple cooked. Crab balls you can buy from Iceland (they'd probably do them better) This Chinese was unfortunate enough to deliver to 2 chefs. Nether the less, a very poor standard. Mostly inedible.

got to be the quickest delivery service on the planet and allways of a high standard set meals are of a great value and nice to know its phone to table in less than 30 mins every time

Haven't found a decent Chinese since we moved to this side of Gravesend. Went by reviews and wasn't disappointed. Great tasting food and cheaper than other Chinese takeaways we've used before. Definitely will use again from now on 😃

Been looking for a decent chinese in pembroke dock area for ages, and I have finally found it, very fast delivery, and the woman on the phone was very helpful when it came to my girlfriends curry, I had a special curry which was beautiful and she had a prawn curry with extra chicken with no spice, it was beautiful, would definately reccommend!!!

ordered a takeaway from here today was £23.the sweet and sour sauce just tastes like onion vinegar the crispy shredded beef was the same just vinegar. the chicken in a chicken chow mein was compressed chicken the same chicken you get inside chicken nuggets. Was very greasy came with no prawn crackers. tastes absolutely disgusting and left most of it.

Been stopping off at the Tasty House for a number of years now. Can hardly say that the decor is inspiring or would make you think that the food from here is anything like the standard it is, but I've yet to have a bad take-away from here.One thing that keeps me coming back as that it's the only (decent) Chinese take-away in the area which serves mussels in it's dishes - and huge ones at that!

This one ticks all the boxes. Good food, value for money and fast delivery. Best Chinese takeaway in town.

Situated where you'd not expect a takeaway, in a back road.Food's a little more expensive than others but worth it for the quality and freshness. Of those I have met, the staff are courteous.Unusually for a chinese takeaway no seats & tv/newspapers while you wait
