It seems the new management team are doing a terrible job and need to get their act together. I went today (Saturday) around 2pm and wanted to order some hot wings - however I was told it would take few hours to make!!! This never happened under the old management- I was very shocked at this experience and won’t be coming back.

As this is now under new management, and over 20 years of being a regular customer they have no idea how to run a turkish kebab takeaway ,chilli sauce full of water and oil ,minimal salad ,and all put in separate plastic pots disgusting WILL NEVER USE AGAIN

This shop is under new management and a total disaster. Had a takeaway of fish and chips. Chips where stale and seemed like they have been sitting there for hours. Fish batter was a little crispy on the outside and uncooked from inside. They really need to sort there food out.

Lovely place to be to eat typical East & West taste of Fish/chips. The staff especially , the young man Mr Hassan at the till is very polite and considerate. A medium portion of fish & chips is more than enough to fill you up. I would recommend a foodie to taste their Masala Fish with In-house made special sauce. 😊

Traditional style fish and chip shop with a little twist on the menu. I got the fish and chips and got persuaded to try the masala variant. This was well worth it, not too strong to mask fish and chips flavour but different enough to be unique. The portion size and value for money were awesome!

Absolutely love it! After sampling some of London’s most renowned fish and chips, I’ve finally found the unrivaled best. This spot serves up the freshest, flakiest fish enveloped in a light, crispy batter that sings with each bite. The chips are perfectly golden, achieving a delightful crunch outside and tender inside. Complemented by homemade tartar sauce and smooth mushy peas, the dish is elevated from simple to sublime.

I'm changing my review about this place. The last couple of times I've been here the standard of food hasn't been as good as previous occasions. The visit before last, the chips weren't that hot and on my last visit the chips had a bitter taste like the oil should have been changed. The boy taking the money needs to learn some manners and not slap the change in the customers hand without saying thank you. I've experienced this a couple of times so I won't be going back. The main owner is polite and consistent

This fish and chips shop is quite special for me the burgers and chips they serve would be an 11/10 however what puts it down is that the-rest of the menu is normal the same as any others menu has been the same for a decade it should be revamped.

Poor service took 45mins to just fry the fish too busy serving people who ordered on the phone never going back

One of the staff member One guy was very irrespective and took money for large and gave medium pls I request the management to teach some minimum common sense , if u keep this type of staff your shop sales will be very less and company losses their reputation

Love this place for their chicken shish, fresh salad and delicious chilli sauce and garlic sauce. I always ask for extra chilli sauce it always tastes freshly made. We have been going to Tasty Fish bar for many years and it has not changed much at all. Same great taste guaranteed every time. Fish and chips very decent too. But the chicken shish kebab is our favourite :))

Freshly Fried Fish with good portions. I large Fish and small Chips is sufficient for 2 people with decent appetite. Please call in advance to order if you are not prepared to wait for 15 to 20 minutes as they prepare only after order to serve fresh.

In my opinion they do the best fish and chips in East London!!!! As a family we travel miles for the tasty cod and the traditional fat chips and they're not overly greasy.

I have been eating here for long time so this is long term review. The food is always good and fresh and the fish is fired right in front of you. The father and son working together is good to see and he is always polite as well. First time when they start selling potato’s ball me and my friends asked about it was given a free sample to try it. That shows how much the owner looks after it customers. And I would highly recommend trying the potato’s balls and the chilli sauce that they made in house is really taste good as well. Overall I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. The only not good thing about the shop I would say is seating area. There are seats that you can sit down with your friends and enjoy but there is only 8 seats and seats them self aren’t that comfortable.

The best traditional Fish & Chips in town. They make it Fresh. So better not to rush and wait for 10-15 mins, or else call them to prepare before going for collection. They also have tasty Turkish food. Friendly staff members 😊 Highly recommended 👌

Ordered a 1/4 burger, had it come as normal, the bottem layer was very soggy from the salard. also meat patty was very thick and burnt on one side, also had those chewy bits of meat inside it. Chips where on the hard side and not soft. although the fish was amazing and hsd a great flavor to it. Would recommend some items 👍

So i dont know why this takeaway have so good reviews, tonight i just trie them service and food ,so i look for fish shop and i chuz them.i call for collection order and they tallk with me like they war drunk and cat the call even before i have finish my order ,then i ask for small middle cod and he said sorry we dont have small only medium wich make no sense any way , and he tell me that wil take 15 min what i know to frie a cod i take maximum 7-8 min any way ,my husband went to pickup the order and he ask if that its the middle cod (he dont know aboute fish) and the answer was yes ,when he com home and i open was not a middle cod and the chips was not cooked fish tested its so down and chips also it have not test at all ,so i dont know why this shop its so appreciated guys com to the light house fish bar its the best ever ( sorry if i ben rude but u guys was same )

Very good. I asked for freshly made. Thay said no problem you will have to wait 7 minutes. all ways ask. Very friendly people. If you ask and wait for them,they will always be friendly to obliged your request.

Very poor example of kebab/fish and chip shop. Food soaked in grease most of the time, chips reheats and dripping in grease that's days old. Go elsewhere.

This place is amazing, I would definitely recommened going there. i went today and got my order FRESH and the prices are good £8.70 for chips n pitta a veggie burger a large portion of chips loads of salad and three tubbed sauces.

They make you wait and wait even when the next customer came in placed his order his order was done and gone but my fish and chips was not seen it waited and when I complained I couldn't walk away as I had already paid for it the guy gave attitude I waited almost an hr.

I visited the place last night with a cousin and the food was disgustingly the way they handled the kebab was awful with there bare hands they took the chicken fillets out the bucket and put it on the grill, after the same person without washing he's hand he went and touched pitta bread and touched cooked doner kebab! It is a very dirty and grimy place, I will report to health as this is unacceptable. I am now suffering with food poison and continuous vomiting. He is ridiculously expensive aswel, the kebab he gave me was a baby portion and it probably is cheaper having it in the west end.
