Fabulous fresh food great service to. Coffee piping hot just how it should be. One thing stairs to loo really dangerous for OAP’s .

Unfortunately the worst latte we've ever had, powdered milk and hot water don't create a decent drink, it was really weak and tasted awful, dump the powdered products and get a decent machine using fresh milk, coffee needs to be one of your best products at a cafe

Ordered the ‘luxury hot chocolate’. It was the cheapest hot chocolate powder with just hot water added, no steamed milk or any milk. I think they used a sprinkle of hot chocolate powder as the drink had no taste and I was just drinking brown hot water. Will never return here and I urge people not to visit this cafe when there is many other cafe’s in lichfield that are 10x better and use proper ingredients.

Called at Lichfield to visit two shops only, then to find it was the food fair. Looking for somewhere that did normal sandwiches, those intended to be easier to eat than other street food, we were happy to find Tasty The Cafe as an established business, which we can visit again. Ordering wasn’t so easy due to there being a wide range on offer. Everything was freshly made, moist, good salad, bread selection too. All wrapped well for take away. Very happy and helpful staff. Premises all clean and tidy. I will look out for this cafe again when in Lichfield. Fully recommended.

The food was excellent, quick service and friendly staff. The house had an excellent atmosphere with a well written menu

Jewel of a cafe Called today on spec. Given a table quickly (up steep stairs) impressed by menu. We chose prawn jacket potato and tuna salad. They came quickly, served by an attentive staff member who seemed interested in getting everything right. Both meals were generous and very well presented. This is an efficiently run cafe with good hygiene practices, a jewel right next to the ‘questionable’ McDonald’s!

Popped in for an all day breakfast which was superb. It was cooked perfectly and all ingredients were excellent quality. I asked for the bacon to be cooked well done and it came exactly as requested. The toast was also delicious, cut nice and thick. The prices are also very cheap for what you get. The location is fantastic, right in the town square. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

What a lovely little cafe you are made to feel welcome as soon as you walk in, I found the food and drinks to be of good quality great friendly staff, I tell you they must have spent a fortune making the premises Covic safe and three stars to the cleaners spotless, give them a try xxx

An excellent cafe, especially if you are hungry. The food is excellent with a reasonable menu, a little small but had tables on the first floor. We would also recommend to anyone this cafe, the staff are polite and respectful.

Visited Lichfield and fancied a quick bite to eat, so popped into this gem of a place. Tikka Saled for the wife and ham and cheese salad for me. Plentiful was the word and vert pleasent staff to boot. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting.

We popped in here for a sandwich with our little granddaughter on a busy Saturday. It’s a no frills cafe that does really nice food with friendly staff. Our sandwiches were very good with plenty of fillings and salad and crisps. My granddaughter had the children’s jam sandwich with a few crisps and I did feel she should have got a glass of squash as well as £2.50 seemed a little expensive for just a small sandwich and about 6 crisps. We will definitely visit again

Go to this cafe if you want good food which is freshly made with good ingredients. Nothing is too much trouble , so if you want your eggs cooking in a special way , just ask. Coffee is brilliant as is everything they serve you. ENJOY

Often go to Tasty snacks with my friend. Always enjoy the food, especially the sausage sandwiches and now they have added milkshakes to the menu as well. Always a popular place on a Saturday afternoon but they have upstairs seating as well, so you get a table. Would recommend the café.

We have been past the cafe a few times butit was always full. But today we were lucky a table for three, alovely well cooked alday breakfast,bacon and egg sandwich sausage sandwich and toast. Not a bad price. Very plesant staff, clean always wiping down the surfaces clearing away the tables after customers left..

Called here today for a meal with my granddaughter. We both had the all day brunch. (breakfast plus chips.) The chips were not up to much, and the mushrooms were tinned, (horrible) The rest of my meal was fine My granddaughters fried egg however was so under cooked that I asked for it to be taken off the plate. The lady (the owner I think) plonked it back on the hot plate for a minute and put it back on the plate. Now if she had said ''sorry about that'' or ANY kind of apology I would have been happy, but she didn't even speak to me! When we left I said thankyou and bye....... and got no response whatsoever. Not a good way to get returning custom. Will not be back.

My colleague and I visited this tidy establishment and received excellent service and a very tasty lunch of baked potatoes and tea. We were very impressed by the quality and presentation of the food and the manner in which it was presented; I’ll definitely visit again!

We came here for a different scenery and to try somehwere new, safe to say we won't be coming back here again, the floors were covered in dust, the cleaning products were left out on show, my plate had stuff running down the bottom of it, the mushrooms tasted like they had been sat in vinegar and the tea was awful, it tasted like dirty water. And the sink behing kept bubbling and made me feel quite ill with the noise.I understand if we caught you on a bad day but it is no excuse for the poor cleaning around the cafe, and for cleaning products to be left out in an eating area.

Had a yummy jacket potato (done properly in a jacket potato oven), with cheese and bacon and a good-sized side salad. Good value for money. Prompt and friendly service.

Called in here mid afternoon had two teas and beans on toast and cheese and onion sandwich portions were excellent and service was very friendly.

Went in here a couple of days ago while in Lichfield for the day. Small place so luckily we got a table. Big menu with plenty of choice, something for everyone. Big portions of very tasty grub, it filled us up for the remainder of the day.

A place we go for breakfast. Good plate of food, delivered freshly cooked, quickly. Good value for money.

First time have eaten here and last.had breakfast but not very good had been standing about from morning mushrooms boiled.all these others must have had a different cook.poor result

My husband and i both went into the tasty cafe for the first time and ordered a full cooked breakfast. It was cooked fresh but we didn't have to wait long. The food tasted lovely and the staff were very efficient. We really enjoyed our visit and would recommend the cafe to anyone

I've walked past plenty of times but never been in before. Glad I decided to give it a go as it was a cold day and I needed a decent lunch. Sandwich and tea were great, reasonably priced and friendly staff. Gets my thumbs up and will be back for more.

As you look at the tasty cafe you think " what a lovely place" BUT when you sit down at a dirty table & look at the over priced menu, you think, hmmmm such a shame.

I have been here numerous times, but lately the coffee is just warm, do not go there if you like hot coffee!

Never tried here until last Tuesday when I had a breakfast and I have to say it was the best , tastiest , freshly cooked one I have ever eaten in Lichfield and maybe anywhere normally the sausage is over cooked or there's something but it was very very nice and the staff are 1st class. Please try them out I can't say what the rest of the menu is like but the breakfast is the best

El personal es amable y acogedor. La comida es de excelente calidad y relación calidad-precio, el tamaño de la porción es muy buena. Yo no diría que este lugar es ideal para personas con problemas de movilidad, ya que el aseo es subiendo un tramo de escaleras. El lugar está limpio.

Metimos en un rápido budín de regalo de esponja con flan de café, muy bonito, limpio y ordenado y el personal es amable, se lo recomendaría a cualquiera.

I went here with my daughter and sister in law for lunch. It is a friendly family run café in the centre of Lichfield. There are two floors but be aware that to get upstairs you have to climb some very steep steps so if you are un steady on your legs at all stay downstairs. The menu has a wide choice of items and they also cater for glutton free diets etc. You sit down and they come and take your order at your table. The food is nice and reasonably priced.

Reasonably priced small cafe. Clean and friendly. All the necessary items for breakfast / lunch. Food is hot and well presented.Toilets are clean (they are up a steep flight of stairs, which was not an issue for us but might be for some).

Central position, seating upstairs too. Friendly Staff. Wide range on menu. Fab breakfasts, even on a Sunday. Tasty and Hot.

Visited this little cafe yesterday and had a very good quick lunch. Its not an a la carte restaurant, the menu is fine for a quick meal. They serve all day breakfasts, omelettes, burgers and the like with chips, salads, sandwiches, jackets. A good big cup of coffee - however you like it and 4 different teas. They also do a children's menu.Would recommend it anytime - right next door to McDonalds but proper food cooked freshly and plenty of it.No brainer

Horrible food. Breakfast was canned mushrooms; that were soggy, canned tomatoes, deep fried sausages, thin bacon, overcooked beans and slimy eggs.Really disappointing...! We'd seen it a number of times intending to go in., finally did and wish we didn't.Also staffed by a load of unprofessional teenage girls that are more interested in gossiping and texting their friends than serving customers.The table next to us didn't have the plates cleared away from the whole time we were there, from order through us finishing.

I use this lovely little cafe regularily. Both alone and with my husband. The food is fresh tasty and plentiful. I have been in all seasons and all weathers it is consistently above the rest. Excellent value for money and with super choices to eat in or take away.

Lovely visit for a snack lunch. Some of the best Toasties we`ve ever had & so reasinably price too. Freshly cooked & served with a smile in a spotlessly clean establishment by friendly staff. Highly recommended to all.

Having eaten in several establishments in Lichfield,We must say the tasty cafe is great value,with great service,tasty and fresh(not reheated) food.The cafe is clean,inviting and well set out.The staff are very helpful,well presented and actually care about good quality service.We think that other establishments in Lichfield could learn a lot from them.

Using Tasty Cafe for both individual items and business lunches I find the friendly and always willing to please staff a refreshing change and will keep me going back time and time again.And of course the quality food they provide 10/10.

Had breakfast at Tasty Cafe Litchfield, amazing service friendly staff and large upstairs seating area which is great when it's busy. Nothing too much trouble and a great market. Well worth the visit :)

Great atmosphere , good welcome on arrival , superb selection on menu . all day breakfast fantastic , you can chop and change to your choice , only one fault tinned mushrooms . why go to all the trouble of a beautiful fresh made breakfast , please leave mushrooms in tin and get fresh .

I popped in one day to have a bite for lunch and ordered a burger and chips. Plenty of food for the value and nice tasting food. Will go there again

Tried this on a rainy Sunday morning, won't be returning. I should have known not to try it, by how empty it was compared to other places we had tried to get in.Cleanliness is not a priority at this venue, up the stairs was filthy, with bits of food behind the bannister. I had an orange juice and was given a dirty glass, I asked for a clean one, the waitress was not able to find one and had to go and wash-up. The whole place was just not clean.I did not eat the sandwich I ordered, to be fair my husband enjoyed his breakfast.I can't recommend this venue.

I went for lunch with my mum and had a jacket potato with cheese and coleslaw, was cooked to perfection and got loads of filling and salad. When walked in was greeted with a smile and lady told us to take a seat as was table service. Great service and will be returning again. Definitely recommend!!

Tasty Café is in a great location in the centre of town and having passed by on a number of occasions, I decided to give it a try. I ordered a baked potato, with coleslaw and cheese. The plate arrived with a large potato and a huge amount of salad etc. So at this stage I was feeling positive. But the potato, was terrible, I was completely over cooked and was mushy and tasted awful. I won't be returning again

We sought refuge from the freezing cold outside and found this nice little cafe, well-appointed and with friendly staff. The coffee was great value, in large cups for the price paid, and the breakfast was tasty and filling.

Found either a bit of hair or cotton in my food. I told a member of staff but she didn't seem bothered. Will not be returning.

Small coffee shop - we popped in on a spontaneous trip - nice friendly staff and good coffee. Would go back - possibly decor could do with being a bit more warming as at present it feels a bit austere - lighting very bright - but that being said it's still a pleasurable experience!

I love this cafe to bit's.I live alone and have to stay in a lot due to my disabilities so it makes mi depressed so when I can get out I don't want to come home too early so I pop in there for a meal and also most of the time it's impossible for me to prepare and cook a proper meal so at least I'v had my proper nutrition when I go in there.It's really clean and the food is so nice and the portions are massive and that's coming from some 1 with a big appetite.The service is excellent and they are so friendly it does mi good going in there and I go home in a lot better mood :)

My friends & I were meeting up for a coffee morning and as some of them don't know the area well, we decided to meet at the market square and stumbled upon this cafe. Although basic looking, it seemed pleasant enough however we couldn't of been more wrong. Both tea & coffee served to our group looked & tasted of dish water. Yuk!I'm not a fan of McDonalds but I think I'd of got a better cup of coffee from there rather than a cheap, indescribable coffee here needless to say we won't be returning.

I havent eaten there personally but i popped in to get my son a breakfast sarnie, which he enjoyed very much. Set a president which says a great deal because hes so fussy. Lovely little café with friendly and helpful staff.

Visited here on numerous occasions, just walking through the door you can see how clean the place is and welcomed by such friendly staff, they can not do enough for the customers. An elderly lady was sitting on the next table, and they seen she wanted to take some tablets, they came over and offered her some water for them. It's the little things that really stick in your mind. Had a lovely salad was all fresh and prepared right in front your eyes. Thank you to all the staff for always having such a lovely experience.

We had breakfast here and although it wasn't expensive, it wasn't tasty either. The tomatoes consisted on one of the tinned variety and the mushrooms were also from a can. The sausage was OK as was the fried egg and the baked beans.

A lovely little café in middle of Lichfield, the staff were very welcoming into a really clean and great atmosphere. Our paninis were piping hot and were very tasteful, very quick service even with café busy on a Saturday lunch time. We would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Lichfield.

to peter a re too many cheap ingredients I think you must have gone to a different café, I go most days and I can say that I have never had a bad meal ,The staff are very welcoming very polite and helpful nothing is to much for them. The ingredients are not cheap but compared to other Lichfield cafes the meals are,keep up the good work.

I was looking for somewhere to grab some lunch, and the 1st thing that grabbed me about this place was the prices advertised in the window. Good reasonable prices for an independant cafe in Lichfield. I walked in it was very clean, cosy, just a nice normal little cafe.I asked for a jacket potato to take away - the lady serving me couldn't of been more pleasant. She even gave me two for the price of one because they were "fairly small potatoes" - I've been to many a place where that size would be considered normal.I thoroughly enjoyed the jacket potatoes - maybe not the very best I've ever had (still nice tho!) - but for the price, convenience and service stood out in my memory and I will be going back again.

Thought we pop in for breakfast on a rainy Saturday morning. by no means is this the cheapest option but it looked quite nice.We were bitterly disappointed at what was served - a large plate of (mainly) beans and awful watery mushrooms, 1 sausage, two rashers of nondescript bacon and 1 solitary tinned tomato. A slice of toast was the least I would have expected but no, that was an extra 40p if I wanted one. The coffee served was rank, awful insipid muck and the tea was obviously not a decent brand, rather a "value" offering I strongly suspect. Add to that the fact that the tables are so small that you can not get two plates and two cups comfortably on them. No newspapers, no wi-fi, indeed nothing to redeem it.Sorry, it will be a cold day in hell before I return!

Called in to have a lovely ham salad on a very hot day. The salad was plentiful and the service was great. Lovely venue in the middle of Lichfield with very healthy fresh food which was very reasonably priced. We shall definitely call there again.

First visit to cafe very impressed, very very clean. Food prepared In a timely manner, staff are very friendly and approachable. Good selection on the menu. Will definitely return again and recommend.

I've been here twice now and wouldn't eat anywhere else in Lichfeild. The food's great, the prices are good and the staff are as courteous as you could wish for.

This is the second time my Husband and I have visited the Tasty Cafe and both times we have not been disappointed. It is a family run business and the portion sizes are excellent, everything is fresh and done to order, and the people are very friendly and obliging, nothing is too much trouble. The premises are very clean and we shall continue to use this cafe, whenever we are in the area. It really is worth a visit we do not think you will be disappointed. The food is very high quality, with good size portion and good value. This is a family run business, with very welcoming staff and a lovely atmosphere, would definitely eat here again.
