One over rated food. They don’t even have any idea what is Indian food. By putting the name as Taste of India you don’t become an Indian cuisine. Your Biryani has no flavour only yellow colour rice with boiled vegetables. I will not recommend this place to anyone who is eating Indian food. Don’t fool people who like to enjoy Indian food

Disappointing and Overpriced! We recently tried this Indian restaurant, and honestly, it was one disappointment after another. The prices were ridiculously high for what we got – small portions that were just average in taste. Plus, we had to pay extra fees on top of everything, even for basic rice, which seemed absurd. Hygiene was also a problem: one staff member sneezed right into his hands and only went to wash them when he saw that we’d noticed. The service itself was unfriendly and distant, which made the whole experience uncomfortable. They seemed hesitant about us sharing our portions, which didn’t make sense and felt restrictive. To top it all off, one of the staff members tried to impress us with a story about his “famous” YouTube account, which just felt awkward by then. Overall, the place needs major improvement in food, service, and basic hospitality. We definitely won’t be coming back!

Food was delicious, but owner Raj was apparent and pushy. He was very adamant that two ladies at our neighbouring table pull out their phone to give a 5 star review. One said it didn’t work because she didn’t have any data, after which he guided her to connecting to wifi. They were visibly uncomfortable and many people noticed this. It felt weird. Good food though.

I really wanted to try Indian food - but the choice of restaurant was poor. Very limited space, tables much too small. The service was OK up until the ordering process, but after that the friendliness decreased. Although our dish was supposed to include a sauce, we had to order it separately, and the rice wasn't even included. The portions were okay, but due to the small table, the food was slapped onto your plate. The bill was tough: just under 80 pounds for 2x tandoori chicken and 2 drinks each...

Very disappointed with this restaurant. Getting used to Indian food, I have never eaten so badly… I had a Prawn Biryani as a main course, the shrimps were not cooked at all and they were frozen shrimps and very small, to finish the nan was not good at all and overcooked… Google reviews are fake..

Terrible food, daal and vegetables were stale . Awful ! Just been there hence would recommend please avoid. This wasn’t even Indian food, no offence but it was Bangladeshi food masquerading as Indian food.

I felt that the waiter was rude to me during service. I was given a brief notification that the kitchen closes in 15 minutes, but 5 minutes later the waiter started picking up my food as I was eating. The entire experience felt incredibly discourteous. Not what I was expecting visiting from Toronto. Also, daal was oily and caused acidity for me.

The food was pretty good. The waiter was very nice, the Service was really a 10/10. Maybe a bit too expensive but alright.

We ordered 2 dishes for 2 people. The food was very okay. The gravy was way too watery, and doesn’t seem to be very authentic. It was priced on a higher side for sure. Our order: Paneer kadhai and Bhoona chicken. Wouldn’t recommend if you are looking for some authentic Indian food. Especially if you are away from home!

Great place! We are from Canada and are no strangers to amazing Indian food. This spot was great, servers were great, atmosphere was great, we had the butter chicken and lamb vindaloo and it was amazing!

Good food but Raj very insistent (he forced me to write the review) and they ripped us off. We went in because the prices were quiet, so we thought we could get by with little, but we were undecided so Raj immediately rushed to us, advising us what to get. Moral of the story we spent £35 each. Good? Yes, but not too much. Would I go again? No. Never again

Out and about during a rainy day in London. We found ourselves in the gardens area and, intrigued by the online reviews, we wanted to try it. Very rustic place, but the food was really good. The table service also suggests how to pair the various foods. Raj, an icon of the place, personally comes to the table to have a chat with everyone. Good food and atmosphere.

In take away order of vegetable rice no spoons were given and with samosa we got chopped vegetables but no chutney or sauce
