Nice and tasty Indian food. Friendly staff offering good service. We had some different food and it all tasted very good and was served in a swift.

Great meal and very well priced. Lots of small dishes make it easy to try different things. Shoutout to Raj for making it a great experience for our first time in London!

Das Essen war komplett ohne jeglichen Geschmack - wir haben schon viele indische Restaurants probiert. Das war mit Abstand das schlechteste. Die Portionen sind Mini und überteuert - 14 Pfund für 4 kleine Stücke Hähnchen in geschmackloser Soße. Salz und Gewürze suchte man vergeblich. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen, ich weiß wirklich nicht, woher diese guten Bewertungen hier sind.

It’s rare to have a meal where everything was perfect but this one was. Came with my wife and our 2 year old and we were made to feel very welcome. The service was exemplary and both staff members we interacted with were a delight. The papadams were light and crispy. The madras had some spice to it and was incredibly flavorful. It wasn’t just spicy for the sake of it while have no other flavors. The grill appetizer was great and the shasheek kebab, a standout. The garlic naan was fluffy, garlicky and incredibly moorish. The minimum spend is 13 pounds per person and %12.5 is tacked on for the service. The money was well worth it and the entire bill came out to around 30 quid including apps and curry and sides. We tried to pick out any little fault and couldn’t find a single one. It was yum. Cheers and thank you!

The indian food is one of my favorites cuisines and this is a good place to have it. Everything that I ordered is recommended...paneer masala, lemon rice, mango kulfi and masala tea. The staff is very kind.

Raj was exceptional with his service. He made sure I enjoyed my meal and even offered me extra chilli sauce because I love spicy food. The food is very good here, I’ve been here multiple times. I ordered chicken biryani and the taste of India special chief dish. Both dishes really tasty. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you love Indian food and love good customer service.

Also wer mit der unfreundlichen Bedienung und der automatischen Service Fee 12,5% klar kommt, kann hier ein tolles Essen bekommen. Allergie bzw. Nahrungsunverträglichkeit gegen Minze bitte erfragen. Dies ist nicht auf der Karte ersichtlich und grenzt die Auswahl ziemlich ein. Speisen, Gemüse und Reis wird separat bestellt. Die Portionen sind nicht riesig. Vom Platz her ist es eher eng. Gerade im vorderen Bereich sitzt man mit seinen Tischnachbarn sehr nah.

Das Essen ist lecker. Wer sich mit den Gerichten nicht so gut auskennt, dem wird alles Mögliche dazu empfohlen, was man definitiv gar nicht alles aufessen kann. Neue Gäste / Touristen werden gerne am Eingang plaziert, weiter hinten im Lokal wird es netter.

Ottimo cibo indiano vicino ad Hyde Park L'atmosfera é accogliente e il personale é gentile e disponibile. Il cibo é ottimo e le porzioni abbondanti Raj é molto cordiale e ci ha offerto un antipasto e uno shottino analcolico al mango che era squisito. Se avete voglia di mangiare ottimo cibo indiano questo é il posto giusto. Molto consigliato!

The food was really good and fresh and the waiter Raj was very welcoming and kind. He gave me the complimentary mango lasi. If you ever visit Taste of India in London please look for Mr Raj. He is the best.

The reason we decided to try this restaurant was the rating of 4.4 out of over 4.000 reviews. Can't go wrong with that, right?! How wrong we were... Straight when sitting down we figured out where this extremely high rating is coming from. The waiters were really pushing people to enter 5 start reviews while standing next to them and even asked for phones to enter the reviews themselves - this made us feel super uncomfortable. When guests next to us were placing their order and did not reach the minimum order value of £13 per person, they were asked to leave. We thought that was a joke at first. Absolutely ridiculous! We still decided to give the place a chance and were hoping to be pleasantly surprised by the food. Unfortunately, this did not happen, either. The dishes we ordered were lacking flavour, portions were rather small and overall very disappointing. All in all, we can absolutely NOT recommend The Taste Of India. Very poor experience.

Horrible experience! We hadn't even entered when the waiter began emphasizing a per-head charge, which we didn't mind. However, his approach and tone was unacceptable. Additionally, the waiter yelled at my dad regarding his seating choice. We did not end up eating there. It was the absolute worst experience

Raj - I must say, this is undoubtably the authentic taste of India. Excellent service, tasty food, Raj gave us an exceptional service, very friendly very kind very attentive, I cannot fault this restaurant and I highly recommend this restaurant if you are Looking for good quality authentic Indian cuisine. Disgusting encounter with the waiter who was smoking at the door. Old mate had an empty restaurant and refused to give us a table based on our race, While consistently mentioning that there is a £15 minimum spend per person. This is the our first experience at an Indian restaurant in the UK after traveling all the way from Australia only to be offended and passed judgement upon. Went and enjoyed a Thai down the street instead where they were extremely friendly and walked past again on the way back to our accommodation only to see 4 people in at 8pm while all the other restaurants were buzzing. I wonder why??

As we entered the restaurant with me and my family we order some meats and one butter chicken and I expected the butter chicken to be a sauce and came out as solid we barely can eat it and also we order biryani lamb and it turned out to be spicy my son said it was too spicy the lazy worker said put yogurt I wouldn't recommend this place not authentic indian food and i would rate this place -1 if i could !!!! 😡😡😡😡

Voor het bedienend personeel ben je niet meer dan een nummer. Eerst moeten de tafels voor het raam gevuld zijn, gezinnen met kleine kinderen worden geweigerd, zonder een woord wordt de kaart/het eten gebracht en bij het afscheid kan er geen bedankje/groet van af. De toeristen komen immers toch wel! Laat je niet enkel verleiden door de lage prijs van het hoofdgerecht: die wordt 'goedgemaakt' met stevig geprijsde bijgerechten en drankjes... Het eten op zich was hooguit middelmatig en te mild gekruid, als een opgewarmde magnetronmaaltijd. De niet geringe sterrenscore is waarschijnlijk te danken aan toeristen die nog nooit Indiaas gegeten hebben en aangenaam verrast zijn over dit voor hen nieuwe smakenspectrum. De connaisseur van de Indiase keuken wordt hier echter niet gelukkig van.
