The Kati Roll Company has changed my life and for better or worse is still to be determined by the rate at which my arteries furr due to the copious consumption of paneer, chicken, meat Kati rolls. The toilets in this place are so posh and clean- what a nice surprise :) We had Paneer kathi rolls- £10 each which felt a bit pricey for what we felt like was a lunch item (should be £8 max). And their masala tea was overpriced at £5. It’s very small inside, but as there were only a few tables being used it was fine for us. If it was packed, it might have felt a little claustrophobic for some people. The staff were super friendly and service top :)

I recently visited The Kathi Roll Company (TKRC) on Poland Street, London. The food was fantastic—authentic Indian street food, great value for money, and absolutely delicious. However, my experience was let down by the service. When I grabbed a drink from the fridge without knowing the procedure, the young lady serving me responded with a dismissive attitude rather than politely explaining. When I expressed how this made me feel, there was no genuine apology or effort to address my concerns in a respectful manner. As someone with 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, I know how critical good service and customer respect are to a positive dining experience. While the food was outstanding, service is just as important. This lack of courtesy made me feel undervalued as a customer. For this reason, I can only give 1 star for service, despite the quality of the food. I hope management takes steps to improve customer interaction to match the high standards of their cuisine.

I've been coming to this place for over 15 years (usually post clubbing), but had forgotten about it in recent years. Yesterday I went back in, and boy was I NOT disappointed! The rolls are still excellent! I had the chicken unda roll and shami kebab unda roll, and both rolls were succulent, fresh, and delicious! The chicken was extremely tender, shami kebab full of flavour, wholewheat paratha was freshly made and light (not dripping with oil), and over all very light and relatively healthy option compared to most other fast foods. It was SO good, I had 3 rolls! And at a price point below £10, this has got to be one of the best fast food options in central London! I hope they keep this price point, as it's rare to find healthy, fresh and delicious options at this price. Service was decent and courteous. Deco and interiors were dated (hasn't changed or upgraded since it was first opened!), but since it's fast food, it's not very important. Keep up the good work guys!

Horrible mix-up! After a long day shopping on Oxford circus I decided to get a take-away for me and my husband back home from Kati Roll. I order for one chicken tikka and one achari paneer roll, collected my order, reached home. So exhausted and looking forward to enjoying my paneer roll. I take the first bite and a prawn falls out of my roll!! I am mortified! I am a vegetarian and I just had a bit of prawn! I double checked my receipt, i had ordered correctly. I understand the busy time and everything Kati Roll, but this is unacceptable. Can you not check what you are handing out to people? I was so hungry and furious, its put me off this restaurant at least for a few years.

It's a chain restaurant, so it lived up to the chain's name. As someone from Delhi I'm very particular about my Kathi Rolls. I ordered an Unda Chicken Roll with extra green chutney and extra green chillies. The good: It had all the components to make a good roll, the paratha was almost perfect, crispy and not too heavy so it doesn't bring down the taste of the whole roll. The chicken was well cooked, tender and juicy. The bad: The chicken didn't seem well marinated and didn't get to soak in all the taste. The roll overall lacked a creamy-ness I expected from the Chicken Tikka masala in it. Unfortunately, the common theme with a bunch of Indian restaurants here is they confuse masala and spice. I liked the spice level, but the thing missed a bit of masala.

The shami kebab roll was very dry and crumbly, despite having a nice flavor. The rolls needed more sauce or moisture in the ingredients maybe a bit of fresh salad. The waiters were attentive and provided good service however the food was not. Since I arrived late, we had to eat outside. Good flavors, but it could be better.

Wonderful Indian cooking from a restaurant in its 99th year but under threat of closure. The lunch menu was reasonably priced for such quality. The restaurant has a stylish decor, service was polite and friendly without being intrusive and the curry was delicious without being heavy and weighing on one's stomach afterwards. Lovely-looking private dining room as well. This place needs saving and we tried to sign their petition but could not get past the online pages asking for donations etc.
