Bombay Spice in City of London, Westminster

Do not believe the reviews. Food was lackluster. Portions were small. We ordered two different kinds of "lamb chops" and were given shoulder which was all bone. Very deceptive.

Best Indian restaurant in Marylebone

food was really nice and tasty, unfortunately the delivery kept getting delayed and delayed as JE kept saying trying to find driver - that really let the food down, if it had been delivered within timeframe would have been amazing food. Will order again and hopefully JE sort out the delivery!

First time visitor and only called in by chance. Wow absolutely wow. Amazing service and genuinely the best Chicken Balti I have ever had. If you want great service with great food at a great price you really should come to Bombay Spice. Thanks for a great evening.

Not an Indian restaurant! The chicken drumsticks we ordered had a rotten smell, the mutton shank was mostly skin, and the tandoori roti was undercooked. I would definitely not recommend this place Edit: Attached their receipt which they send to your email.

The food was delicious! We ordered lamb shank, tandoori chicken, and chicken tikka masala. We also ordered a mango lassi, with a super flavourful mango taste, an chilli naan, and poppadums. Everything was delicious.

While the name is Mumbai and the details mentioned are all Indian, however the entire staff and hotel is run by people from India's neighbouring countries. Food also does not come close to Indian Taste. Biryani was Ok, other starter items was not that good.

Great spot for a ruby Maury have been going here for years when In the area but I’ve noticed since Mr Bor hasn’t been around things aren’t the same as it used to be. Miss the service and the humour from the man himself

One of the Best Indian Food I tried in London. They have delicious Indian curries and the service is second to none. Decors are simplistic and modern and very clean restaurant. Thank you for the lovely food. I learnt Bombay Spice is one of the eldest Indian restaurant in Marylebone opened since 1961.

Below average food Vegetable curry was stale The bill provided was a handwritten one and was totalled incorrectly, when asked they mentioned they have added 10% service charge which was not mentioned and it was more than 10%

I have visited Marylebone today with my friend tried the Bombay spice. We had vegetable thali it was so good and delicious and the price was reasonable only £9.95 we also had garlic naan it was excellent. I would highly recommend to anyone to try theirs thalis.

Today I have been to Bombay spice restaurant I ate tandoori mixed grill ,chicken jalfrasi and butter chicken it was very delicious and the service was amazing. Very impressed. I would recommend going there and experience it with your family .

For my first night in London, I was fortunate to find this restaurant. The staff was friendly, and the service was excellent. For the reasonable price, the food was fine. Chicken sag, bread, and Kingfisher drought was all I needed.

I loved it. I asked for spicy dish and I have tried paneer poori earlier it was served with chutney tray filled with yoghurt sauce onions pickle and was so yummy The wine merlot is unique and rich juicy deep which isn't available from any supermarkets

When the bill came it said 'Bangla Spice', so probably misleading for people on the lookout for Indian food.

One of the worst Indian restaurants you will find in this area. Visited as a group of 10 people. The sevice was slow. The food was pathetic where the lamb was undercooked. When raised with the member of the staff, the staff was rude and unapologetic. Unfortunately, I cannot rate them a 0 on their service. The naans were still raw and doughy. The menu said king prawns and the dish served had shrimps. The member of staff started arguments again claiming we specifically asked them to make it in prawns instead of king prawns. However, amongst all this the manager had the courtesy to apologise and get these off the bill. Rest of the other dishes like panners, curry and biryani were underwhelming in terms of taste. Overall, dont waste your time and money trying this place out. There are much better ones around.
