Used this restaurant for years and it’s always been lovely. Haven’t ordered from them for a few months so tried tonight and the food was horrible. Very watery and sloppy and very little taste and I dont know what they’ve done to the naans but they’re like cheap pizzas bases from the supermarket and burnt on the bottom. Really disappointed as I recommended this place to friends not long ago. Has it changed hands recently?

was my favourite Indian for over a couple of years. Went back to them for a change expecting the same quality food. turns out its the worst Indian quality I've had in a long time. I won't be going back. food was pretty bland, sloppy and just seemed mushed up. these guys never used to supply food like this.

Food was really poor. Chicken was dry and over cooked, the mixed grill has literally two small pieces of lamb. The Nan bread was to burnt to eat as it was just charcoal on the bottom. Very disappointed, if it was in the restaurant it would have been sent back or I’d have refused to pay.

2 hours wait contacted restaurant to then be told they didn't have things in stock to cook and no order arrived customer service very bad

I appreciate that it is hard to process orders during a very busy time, however if the quality of the food decreases due to the demand then the restaurant should cap how many orders they take. We ordered food at 5.30pm and the estimated delivery time was pushed back so much that it took nearly 2 hours to be delivered. 1 curry was incorrect and the restaurant must have turned off their phones as the line was saying that it ‘could not be reached’ therefore the error couldn’t be rectified.

Food was cold, asked for hot and was mild. Paid for poppadoms and didn't receive any. Not impressed

I have never ordered food worse then this. Rice was undercooked, the meat was poor quality ! Never again

Food arrived late and very cold. Rang to complain. Very nicely handled with replacement food which when it eventually arrived 40 minutes later was piping hot. Great. Sadly the food was bland and lacking any spice (dansak) and generally poor quality. £26 wasted. Won't be back and would not recommend.

I’ve ordered from here a while and tonight was really disappointing and waste of money. Poppadoms were soft, naan bread was really tough and almost cold. The chicken tikka Balti needed mixing as all the oils had just sat on top and it looked more like dog food. The container had also not been closed properly as it had leaked all over inside the bag on to other containers. Really disappointing tonight and I won’t be ordering again.

I have used here as my curry house for over 10years... very disappointed with last nights delivery... tiny portion sizes of curry, shrinking nann breads... shame

Best Indian food we have had for a long excellent

We were a bit puzzled by our order last night. I had ordered a Pathia and a Murg Makhon Wala. Have ordered and received both before and they were always great. I'm 99.999% sure that we received two of the same dish..and we aren't even totally sure "which one" we got. I think we got 2 of the Murg Makhon Wala as the Pathia is normally quite spicy, and both the containers looked identical, and tasted totally identical. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't the quality we used to always get. The Naan was in a paper bag that was soaking wet from grease, and was on top of the other containers. (so the containers ended up greasy as well.) Like I said, the food wasn't bad, it was "OK". The food from the restaurant is usually spectacular. Maybe someone was having a bad night, I don't know?? It ended up being "us" ,though, in the end. The delivery guy was very friendly !

Previously have had some great food from here. Tonight portion sizes were small, papadums were soggy and naan was a flat circular disc. At best I would rate this as average, just out of loyalty as we have had great food from here before. Unlikely to order again based on the food tonight.

Was very late coming and food was ok not the best not the worst

Masala was so runny, basically water! Mushrooms look like they’d been sat for days and used once they were dried up and the chips tasted like they’d been reheated. Not good at all.

Possibly the hottest jalfrezi we’ve ever had. Understand it is a hot curry but it’s never been unbearable like that before. Hotter than any madras I’ve had before which is saying something. Initial taste was good until the heat kicked in. Shame that I’ve had to leave most of it.

Loved the coconut rice, excellent meal, will definitely order again

Chicken quality was tough, and no pappadoms. Madras sauce and quantity of starter good.

Ordered a takeaway for collection via just eat. Restaurant accepted the order, but arrived for collection to be if informed they were closed. They even had the cheek to then say that the order has been collected in Just Eat- total rip off. I would avoid this place like the plague.

Restaurant not answering phone, order due at 7-7.20pm and its now 8.10pm and no food!!

Didn’t get any food! Ordered and when I got to the restaurant they said they were closed even though they accepted the order! WASTE OF MONEY

Delivery driver didn't secure the bag in the car as the bag arrived with oil from container spilling in the bag. King prawn puree only had 2 pieces of king prawn. Korai and puree excessively oily but tasted ok. Got a mango chutney and salad but no popadom to have it with. Please ask your drivers to secure the bag when driving and chef needs to use less oil.

The rice was sticky and soggy. Not what I'd expect of Indian rice at all. Never had this before previously with this place, always had decent food, so was disappointed. Taste was still ok though.

The nann bread was stale and the baggi and sag aloo were a little to spicy for my taste. Otherwise the masala was good and the rice excellent. Service very good.

This is the second time I’ve had to wait two hours for my food. When you contact the takeaway they just laugh and say they’re busy. I won’t be ordering from here anymore which is a shame because the food is nice.

Food was Luke warm when delivered, and items missing from order which I paid extra for. Really gone dwn hill this place lately.

Meal was ordered before 6pm for 7.30pm delivery. I had to call the restaurant when it was 20 minutes late and was told it would be on its way. After another 30 minutes waiting I called again. It eventually arrived 1hour 15 minutes late, it was lukewarm and the naan breads were hard and dry. Terrible service, I think a refund should be given. Will never order from here again.

Worst Indian takeaway ever! Came so late we had started to cook our own food. The food was cold and greasy most of it went into the bin. We will never be using taste of India again!

This is a real shame because I do like the food from this place. However, on arrival the delivery driver tried to squeeze an extra two pounds out of me, due to my house being beyond 5km from the restaurant. He explained (in a very petulant and demanding fashion) that this was a mistake made by the owner, who had not correctly calibrated his location settings/limits on just eat. As a rule of thumb you learn from mistakes, you don’t get paid for them. That said, the food is good, and if you live close by I imagine you won’t meet this sort of trouble. I for one, will not be ordering again, much to (I imagine) the owner’s delight.

Love Indian food but sadly tonight it wasn't to be, !! Had to ring 4 times well over a hour for our food, stone cold was chucked in bin then missed items from delivery.!! Was told to come tomma for a refund for the missing items !! Naan bread was burnt on one side,!! Sadly won't go again

Great meal for price highly recommend was only one thing i would say bit short on chips but apart from that bhuna was beutiful

I hate leaving bad reviews so please take into the account that the food was nice as it usually is but it arrived late I had to ring restaurant after the app told me it had been delivered. Food was cold upon arrival and it was a very small portion compared to normal. Disappointing service today.

Very unhappy with the quality of food tonight. Poppadoms burnt to crisp, completely inedible due to the burnt taste. Naan bread like a crisp, rock hard. The tiniest portion of chips, really disappointing

Waited 2 1/2 hours for delivery. Paid for munch box for 2 and only got for one. Loads of stuff missing and food was luke warm. Restaurant offered free stuff for delay but gave nothing.

Ordered food and it never turned up, yet updated on the app to day "enjoy your food". Called the restaurant to be told there was an issue with the driver and could I come and collect it? No, that's why I ordered for delivery. Didn't even ring to let us know they aren't delivering. Been a loyal customer to this restaurant for a lot of years to be treat like this....

Never one to leave a bad review, however this meal was a total disaster and disappointment. After preordering earlier in the day, to be delivered for 18.00, it got to 18.40 and nothing. Therefore I called up the restaurant who asked if I could come and collect as there was no delivery drivers (although no call prior to say our food wouldn’t be coming at all, wouldn’t have known if I hadn’t proactively called). Arrived at the time (gave them the 10mins they asked for), food wasn’t ready and then was asked for the full amount - including delivery, I obviously challenged this. Food finally made, took it home and when opened there was no chips, no sundries and no meat in the naan and the onion bhaji nearly broke my nanas jaw. Such a shame!!!

Not only is the order late they have sent the rice and chips without the curry but charged for the full order they have been rude in the phone and now not answering so u can tell about the missing order £20 is rather expensive for a portion of chips and portion of rice

Over 2 hours late. Told twice on the phone that it was with the driver. I've used these guys a few times, and although the food taste is good, I can't be bothered with the lying. Just be honest on the first call and say you're busy and having issues completing orders in time. It'd at least give us an opportunity to sort something else for dinner.

placed order sometime between 7.15pm and 7.20pm, site estimeated time of arrival of between 8pm and 8.20pm food finally arrived at about 8.50pm usually this restaurant is on time andthe food is excellent quality, however when i rang the restaurant to chase up my order, they said they were extremely busy, however if i place an online order over an hr earlier than when i want it, i expect this to be delievered on time with no excuses. they jhad plenty of time to make this

The food was nice, but cold, I ordered a extra naan cheese they sent plain. All my poppadoms had been smashed, I know you don’t eat a whole one but 2 of the 3 where smashed up in the bag.The tikka was very nice and the rice, the chips where hard. I spent £20! Not worth it all n all. I can’t complain about the amount of food you get for what you pay. But the other bits I’ve mentioned give this meal a bad review. I won’t be going back. The man when I called was very nice and helpful.

Everything tasted beautiful and full of flavour, arrived lovely hot still, i wonder if you could offer bigger naan bread's please,it was the best Indian ive had in ages

Spot on food box good quality and value for money i wentdown to collect and gentleman who owned it let me sit in with partner to eat it which he didnt have to do top bloke and be back again 100%

Onion Bhaji overcooked, popadums burnt, chips very poor quality, all bruised and not one over 3cm’s long. The curry’s were very salty to the point they were inedible. Very poor when normally this is a safe go to.

Food not very good ordered 2 starters only got 1 salad 1 sauce no onion salad. Meat was poor quality

What a pleasant surprise. We ordered a curry box each expecting it to be very basic and stripped back, but it was absolutely delicious, filling and well worth the price. Delivery was around 30 mins which was an added plus. Will be ordering again, thank you

The food was just over the delivery time but did not really matter, the main dish and rice were hot and fresh, chicken very tender, the onion bhaji starter came without any salad or yoghurt which was disappointing and the naan was just a bit dry, on the whole though i enjoyed the food and would order again.

Requested a specific time for delivery as was travelling back from working away all day and the food turned up 30 mins early!

The chicken Rogan did not taste as it should. It had different flavouring on the chicken that had some tomatoes added on it but it was not original. The Rogan is a favourite of mine for years.

Little late with the food, but the food is always SOO good. The only problem I have is that the last two deliveries have had spilled "liquid sauce" in the bottom of the bag and the containers had the sauce from MY food all over them. As always, the food is excellent. I'm sure the restaurant was very busy due to the 25% off deal.

Food tastes great but order was wrong twice. Lady on the phone said we could keep the 1st wrong order then delivery driver took it back.

Ghost lamb absolutely delicious, tender and melt in the mouth lamb, wonderful dish. The riaita was cooling and refreshing. The Naan wasn’t as good it wasn’t “tear and share soft” it was “break and crunch”. Sorry. However I would still order again as I love the ghost lamb. Thank you for the freebie poppadom and sauce, it’s appreciated. Delivery driver polite and friendly.

Curry was ok but delivery was late

Second order now delivered late. Food only warm and needed put in microwave. Salt in the wound was a message given at the the indicated time saying "enjoy your food" and it wasn't delivered until 30 minutes later. Last time order was 90min late. Time for a change of takeaway after being with them for years.

The lamb gosht masala was beautiful. One of the best lamb dishes I’ve eaten. Lamb very tender, medium spiced, just perfect. Definitely order this dish again.

The restaurant was good, food was good. Just eat showed as delivered, I had to ring to find out what was happening, turns out the driver was still out delivering and I was going to be the next one, after 10 minutes I had to call again and it was another 10 minuets. Unfortunately that made the food cold, so I had to re heat it. The food was still good, it was just a shame it took so long and needed re heating.

Disgusting, onion bhajis were cremated and the rest was cold!!!
