Amazing food! We were in the for the first 15 minutes and already had drinks and our food had come over! Food is delicious and so much flavor to it! I’ll be definitely re visiting. 10|10

The food is phenomenal. I’ve been eating curries for 35 years in London, Bristol, Cardiff, Exeter, etc etc, and this is by far the best. Every time we visit the food is excellent.

Visited twice now whilst passing through Exmouth and will definitely do next time. The food was perfect, very tasty and nice and hot (temperature) where freshly cooked. Very friendly and efficient service, well worth 5 stars.

I live in Budleigh some 3.5 miles away from Exmouth, yet Tandoori Nights will and have delivered to me tonight. The food was fantastic even tho I have a curry house local to me in Budleigh, this place is better not just for price, & delivery, the food is faultless. A very traditional curry house, one that does what it says on the tin but not one that really wows you. The food was perfectly good - with a nice chutney tray and some decent curries - but there are a lot of places we have been that were just....better. You'd certainly get a good meal here. You just won't get a particularly memorable one.

Ended up here after not being able to eat at our first choice due to it being fully booked (they had a cheap Wednesday deal). However, I think luck was on our side as we had a terrific meal. Lots of veg options which is great as my partner is vegetarian. The table service was quick and attentive and there was a good selection of specials, good for me as I like to try new things. All the food was well prepared, not oily or salty (our 2 main bug bares with Indian food) and all the dishes were full of fresh vegetables, even the veg rice. We will certainly eat here again. Looking at the low star reviews for this restaurant, most are from 4-5 years ago when it was in previous ownership and don’t reflect our experience.

Outstanding food and service. (Oh, and this was a delivery, not a visit. Saturday night as a solo in a seaside town not my idea of wise.) The Prawn Puri was perfect; the Mixed Vegetable Avial (Kerala-inspired recipe) exceptional; and the Lamb Dopiaza was delicious. Plus poppadoms I'm looking forward to some left-overs for lunch.

We enjoyed a late night meal of lamb and chicken shashlik with a spinach bhaji. It was nicely presented, tasty, and well served. The lighting in the restaurant could be better. Some tables appeared to be almost in the dark.

Indian is never my first choice but on this occasion some friends agreed to meet here - I'd not been for years and for someone who doesn't like big greasy curries their extensive grill menu meant I was well catered for. Really tasty, great service, not that expensive for what it is.

If you can see through the rather cheesy name, the uninspiring decor, the dreadful menu layout the food is actually well above average. We went on a Friday early evening and it was already getting busy.

Located right in town centre, Lovely customer service and food quality. Fair pricing and lots on the menu to try. Will be returning soon.

Outstanding quality Indian food. A plethora of tastes. 6 of us dined here and the variety of flavours was remarkable. Everything from Bhaji to Naan and every curry in-between was super quality, fresh and full flavoured.. excellent!

Great staff, lousy food. I can’t believe the reviews for here are so good. Our mixed starter was greasy, thrown on the plate like a dogs’s dinner. Mains were king prawn masala, chicken something or other and okra side. Prawn was cooked nicely but the sauce was too almond, sweet and boring. The chicken dish was supposed to be thighs but we got sliced breast and the sauce was over sour and drowned the chicken. The okra was good. All in all terrible.

Saw the reviews and we just had to pay Tandoori Nights a visit. Walked in and it was heaving! So glad we booked a table! We ordered poppadoms.. I think you can always tell how the rest of your meal is going to be on how crispy your poppadoms are and they were lush! Dips were delicious too. We even asked for a top up on the pickle! We ordered for main a chicken tikka masala and pilau rice for children to share.. wow they demolished it! They thoroughly enjoyed it. My husband had a chicken madras and mushroom rice and I had a lamb balti with mushroom rice. We devoured the lot! The food was absolutely amazing, the flavours and taste hit all the right spots. The service was great the atmosphere was a vibe in itself.. lots of compliments in the air of how delicious the food was and laughter and just a happy to be in atmosphere. We are from Luton so a town full of wonderful curry houses so we know a thing or two on a good curry, and tandoori nights you did not disappoint. Will keep you in mind if we're ever in the area again. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

3 of us went to Tandoori nights to celebrate a birthday. The food is absolutely lovely with a range of options (all reasonably priced) from their menu. Portions sizes are also very generous which was an added surprise! Staff all very friendly and create a very welcoming atmosphere. Looking forward to being back again soon and would 100% recommend

We have eaten in here many times and they never disappoint in the quality of the food or their polite efficient service. We also order home delivery meals frequently. We recently ordered a home delivery meal and I have to say it was was probably the best Indian take-away/delivery food I have ever tasted. The meat was so tender and the taste was excellent. They also supplied us with extra popadoms and items at no extra cost and the delivery was actually a few minutes early. I can not fault them in any way. Excellent food and great service. Fitted us in on a very busy evening. Warned us we would have to move half way through but we were more than happy with this. We were starving. What followed was an absolute please to eat.

An absolute treat and a great finale for my birthday ! Saz looked after me and recommended perfect dishes based on my tastes. The dishes are all prepared fresh , spiced to perfection, very delicately done with clearly lots of experience. Excellent food 😋 I'm sad to be travelling on from Exmouth tomorrow but my next stop must include a dining visit here. Lovely people and fantastic food and atmosphere, you can't ask for more.

Really enjoyed our visit, staff very professional and friendly. Nothing was to much trouble. I have an allergy to citrus and this was catered for very well. The food was absolutely beautiful and even had the left overs put together to take away with us. We didn't feel rushed as like most places. Will definitely return again. All of this was while they had a group of 12 dining for a birthday party, we didn't feel neglected at all. The price was very good as well. One final thing thanks to all of the team for making our experience a good one.

Tandoori Nights is the go-to place for the best Indian cuisine food. I've been to the place quite a few times and every time the experience is just surreal. Staff are cheerful and happy to help.

It’s taken me a while to post this, but we visited this lovely restaurant back in September when we were on holiday in exmouth. And what a lovely gem it is! We were impressed, the food was lovely, and the staff were so friendly! Made us feel very welcome, and even gave our little boy a free desert and plenty of chocolates to keep him going! A lovely restaurant! Keep up the good work :)

I’d just like to say that I had an amazing meal at Tandoori Nights. The food was amazing, the service was amazing. It’s definitely worth sitting in instead of ordering to the house. He was also able to make a spicy dish more mild for me which I greatly appreciated. 5* experience!! We ordered a mushroom rice which I was sceptical about, but it was one of the best rices I’ve had.

Was recommended and it did not disappoint. Friendly staff, great atmosphere and amazing food. All 5 members of party looked after, so including 1 child and 1 coeliac. Will definitely be coming again every time we are on holiday.

Friendly staff and lovely food. We had someone with coeliac in our party and they were helpful in terms of ingredients - in reality there was not much she couldn't have. The food was well presented and tasted very good and reasonably priced (about £20/head for poppadoms, drink, main, rice and a shared Naan and side)

Visited Saturday evening, food was absolutely delicious, piping hot and very fresh. Staff here are attentive, welcoming and always making sure you’re happy. Very clean and hygienic restaurant, even wiping our table after we had eaten. Will definitely return if we ever come back to Devon!

Ordered take away for collection. Went to collect and they had no record of the order! After we proved we had actually ordered they delivered the food to our door. However they delivered the wrong dish so I missed out on dinner 😡 Will NOT be coming back.

Went without booking and was welcomed. The food was just to die for and arrived piping hot and in good time. Lovely atmosphere. Got very busy with a party of 11 who also arrived without booking but were also welcomed by the waiter. Would definitely recommend 👌

Went for the Monday buffet night (4 courses). Didn’t expect the rice/bread to count as a course! But overall fairly good value. The prawn puri was really good. Madras and masala good enough. Would go again.

The restaurant does live Upto the expectation of both veg and no -veg. One the guys who took the order ensures timely serving and even customised as per our request. Really worth giving a try if you fancy good Indian food in Devon.

We always look to having a curry here when we stay in exmouth the food is beautiful and the service and prices are stupendous every time great restaurant
