Tandoori Nights in Wiltshire

This time 30 min late the one before 40 min late if the delivery was as good as the food happy day's poor delivery lets it down.Spoils the meal.

Lovely food but late and only a Tuesday, how busy can it be?

Had a Birthday meal here this evening , and the food was absolutely delicious, so tasty . The service was good and staff friendly. Received complimentary Baileys , 2x chocolates and a beautiful orange rose . Food so good had to take home a doggie bag. Would highly recommend

we have been regulars for 10 years, last night it took over 2 hours from ordering go receiving our cold dinner. I have requested a refund with no response yet, my husband said it was his worst korma ever from there.

Absolute heroes. I was starving, nowhere else was open. Even though they were about to close, they agreed to make me a tikka masala and bhajis to take away. Saved me. Both delicious, and good portions.

Food, service and atmosphere was good will be going there again.

The sides were delicious, but the chicken in the curry was very tough. Must have been an ‘off night’ as I’ve had better from here.

my usual indian was closed today so I thought I would try this one it was very bland no taste very disappointed and very expensive. £30 pounds just for 1 person curry chips and rice and 1 nan

Whilst I haven’t eaten here for sometime, I was quite shocked at how smaller and watered down the main curry dishes had become. Clearly, profit margins are driving this but for the cost to the customer, it certainly pays to look elsewhere.

Delivery was few mins late so acceptable, delivery times overall were a long wait, that was the nicest curry we’ve had in a long time I felt super satisfied & it’s was so tasty, I’m gutted I shared mine with my child now but I will return, can’t wait

The food is average but over priced. £6.50 for a pint is terrible when the Bell does it for £1.99. Average £40 pp if you have, curry, rice, naan and a drink. Can get same curry for £5 from Tesco…I won’t be going back here

Absoluta basura el Keema naan no tenía carne en él absolutamente patético intento puede decir que se hace en el barato. Pshwari naan parece que ha sido arrastrado por el suelo y alguien los usó como zapatos. El encurtido de lima también fue una desgracia, todo por un gran costo de £ 60

First time of using on just eat and delivery. Superb food, great taste, plenty of food would recommend and I am pretty fussy when it comes to Indian so this was top notch

If I could give a lower rating I would. 3 hour delay on food, food cold awful tasting. I'm suprised they are allowed to cook for humans.

The best experience on Christmas Eve - delicious food, outstanding service, complimentary chocolate and a very generous £10 discount. Ladies are handed a rose before they leave! Couldn’t recommend both the dine-in or takeaway enough.

Visitamos en familia con niños en diciembre. Llegamos temprano y el restaurante estaba ocupado con gente cenando y para llevar. El personal era muy acogedor cuando llegamos y nos sentó rápidamente y tomó pedidos de bebidas. El restaurante es muy familiar y nos ayudó a modificar los platos para garantizar la idoneidad. La comida era muy buena. Patia era de primera categoría y el chile masala de ajo también era súper sabroso. El pollo tikka también estaba húmedo y sabroso. La cobra en el grifo también era una ventaja. Nos dieron chocolate y una flor al final de la comida que de nuevo fue un buen toque. Sin duda volvería y recomendaría.

The time we asked for was accepted but it took longer. Not a big problem but it would have been nice to use the communication through the app to let us know when it's ready to collect just to save the hanging about. Food was absolutely delicious.

Got a take away just now. Curry had a layer of oil on top and was cold, rice was cold. Didn’t taste great. Took 1.5, close to 2 hours to deliver the food. If you’re going to be that late make the food good at least 😭 the delivery driver was very nice, at least.

Food was below average, quite expensive and not great quality. Also check your bill for added service charge. £75 for 2 people. £16- £19 for a curry dish then add your rice on top.

when I spend 7 pound on delivery I expect the food to be atleast warm. food arrived 20mins past the expected delivery time and freezing cold waste of money. low score on quality as hard to tell with cold food.

Has a takeaway, looked at the reviews and also had a lovey meal in the restaurant about 12 years ago, expected more, food was average and expensive for the quality, had far better takeaway curry for nearly half the price.

Excellent service and food quality

Being 20 minutes late delivering our food I would expect my Mixed Sizzler to have been well cooked, unfortunately it appeared to be rather undercooked and soggy. The one piece of chicken that I ate tasted like soft processed meat, the donner meat was also undercooked and unappetising. The chips looked like cheap freezer chips that were also soggy. Not worth the money for this meal, it went straight in the bin. It was our first time ordering from here and I think it will be our last.

Ordered at 6:30 with a 35 minute delivery estimation and the food arrived at 8pm

Food was a little late but not really bothered by that - it just meant the food arrived pretty cold which meant it didn’t taste as good as it should have. That being said we did still enjoy our meal and will return in future

How is a G&T the same price as a lemonade at £4.95?? And one nann at £4.95 one rice at the same price and two main dishes very oily food dated decor, overpriced and horrendous quality service is poor. I can not recommend this restaurant to anyone ..

Went there with family for lunch. There was a gentleman who seem to be at our table within few mins we seated rushing us for drinks order. When taking order he was leaning on one of our chairs with his arms around it - made me feel uncomfortable. Appetizer pappodoms was soft - they replaced it but we did not finish because it was just not fresh. Main course Food arrived - briyani did not feel fresh - felt like a microwaved briyani from days old. Forgot kids meal order and we reminded after waiting - the kids meal chicken came very spicy so kid could not have it. Overall- was not satisfied with the food.

Visited for the first time on the 24th July. Party of 2. To be honest we were impressed with this restaurant, the food was cooked to perfection and the staff were very attentive. At the end of the evening we couldn’t get a taxi back to our hotel, going above and beyond the staff drove us back to our hotel. Outstanding customer service. We will defiantly be back

Surprising restaurant because it is discreet on the front, it looks like yet another low-end establishment but in fact the cuisine is very elaborate and of excellent quality. The portions are very generous!

Don’t bother with the cheese and garlic naan there is no cheese in it. The curry was ok. Hit the pasanda and the tikka both had the same coconut tastes. Onion bajis were great!

Only diner at the time I was in so a bit lacking in atmosphere but had a fair few visitors for take out. Portion sizes were great but it was expensive for what it was.

Tandoori nights boasts and extensive menu, the restaurant offered a pleasant setting and good service. The food however was mediocre - fewer choices may have resulted in better attention to detail. However, this would have been fine, but the prices are outrageous. We didn't overorder but at £50 a head a could not recommend this experience.

Fantastic food and friendly staff, kids loved it. We'll be back.

Mains were literally watered down. I’ve eaten in the restaurant before and the quality is fantastic. Really quality ingredients, and thick sauce, however seems that on busy nights they add water to the curry sauces, reducing the taste and quality

Hello, sorry for a bad review as have never done one before and I work in hospitality myself as a chef so I understand about reviews very highly, tonight I have ordered an Indian after a long day at work from long hours and, i received it, which took over an hour, popadom which was soggy not crispy and hards, chips which where not chips they where fries, fries where completely soggy, freezing cold, and the main part the butter chicken, it seemed all good but was cold in container, put it in a bowl and then there is a metal string in the curry, I am not happy, will not be returning and I expect a refund from the products I have bought and more as, it was a metal string which is not good especially from doing health and safety training and food safety and hygiene level 2 and 3 thank you

A great place to visit for a meal out. Lovely food and very friendly and attentive service. If eating out in the Amesbury area I can't think why you would go anywhere but here. From the moment you walk in the door, until the moment you leave, the staff treat you with respect and like returning friends.

Away for a family weekend in Salisbury and Tandoori Nights was a local restaurant. We decided to have a takeaway for 8. When my husband placed the order he asked if they catered for Gluten free as a member of the family has this intolerance, and they said yes. Well after eating their food this person was extremely ill all through Friday night and into Saturday. So the curry was not Gluten free😡 and what makes things worse. We had phoned them the week before our weekend away to check about catering for Gluten free. So they clearly don't understand what the intolerance is or they just chose to ignore it 🤔 people be aware!! The rest of the food was ok .

Really bad delivery service and cold tasteless food. Having ordered our food via the website at 5:30 we eventually received our food at gone 8pm, certainly not the advertised 40-60 minutes. The excuse eventually given was that they were busy but we were twice given estimates for delivery which were totally inaccurate. Once we did get the food it was cold, tasteless and the sauces had split. Never again.

A fantastic meal out with family. The food was delicious and the service was excellent - including some little extras thrown in. We'll definitely be visiting again and getting our take aways from here in the future.

King prawn butterfly and cheese naan need to be avoided

Overall good. Nice food. If honest I'd maybe due to preference . That the onion and bits that was served along side the mango chutney etc. To be chopped finer as it aids the eating of it easier with the poppadoms. I found that mostly the service was excellent and in particular the young man waiter I think who was called tarek . Not sure if his name correctly spelt but he was superbly attentive friendly and had great service. And Sufi was excellent also. Great sense of humour. The restaurant was packed and a good sign of evidence to it being a popular restaurant . One of recommendation .

Ordered a takeaway for one . Food was delivered on time and was hot. But the meal was awful . Now I used to use this restaurant over a year ago before I moved away. It was always the best But tonight my curry was not hot it lacked taste and was very watery. .ordered two poppadoms and these arrived totally broken up . Not one was whole . Was extremely disappointed and shall not be returning .

Take away for two. Efficient service. On time. Food was awful. Went in the bin. Chicken had no texture of very low quality. Curry had little in the way of spice. Running with cooking oil.

Don't know why we haven't been to Tandoori Nights for so long - I'm sure we'll be returning much sooner this time. Great food - very typical Indian menu, not trying to do anything particularly different or clever but really tasty & I would happily eat there again tonight! I've been lucky enough to eat at many excellent Indian restaurants, having lived in London & Birmingham, & whilst not going to set the world on fire, Tandoori Nights seems to cook really enjoyable food. Very friendly too which always helps. Would recommend & we'll definitely be back soon..

Really good curry, I had venison balti and mushroom rice … very very tasty. I’d have that again for sure.

Got a delivery, eaten in before and the food was lovely. After paying £3.95 for a delivery (about half a mile ) it arrived COLD. The food also was not its best, 2 different curries tasted the same, very salty and so much spice couldnt eat it. Even my Daughter who likes a vindaloo said it was a spicy mess. I wont be returning. Cant find a nice thing to say.

Went as a large group, but wouldn't split menu to individuals or pairs, so lots of calculations at end of meal by guests to settle the bill, not helpful at all

We live in Devon and visited some years. When we were near Amesbury again, we had to come again. The food is fantastic, the service was good and the staff were attentive and wonderful. I had the Mixed platter feast house special and my wife had the Balti Lamb shank house special. Both were wonderful and good portions. Fully recommended. We will be back. My last photo post had over 100,000 views. Hope this feedback helps your decision to visit.

Visited to get a takeaway while travelling home, and wow, stunning food and service. I can not fault anything, starters, mains, sides, naan bread etc, all perfect. Matched by great friendly service Looking forward to the next time I’m passing
