Takamee Noodle & Rice in Cheshire West and Chester

Was intending to go to Wok and Go initially but ended up here. I'm glad I stopped here as the food, portion, and price were better at this independent than the franchise Wok and Go. Food was much tastier here, and this place had a greater range. Enjoyed the salt and pepper chicken wings which was a huge portion, also enjoyed the noodles. Would definitely recommend this place.

Always really nice food, delivered on time and hot! Would have given it a 5 star if it wasn't for the increase in price on things that aren't worth it. It used to be much better value for money.

I got a medium chicken chow mein noodle box and I can barely move after it! Value for money is off the charts here! I’d also like to say that all the staff even though visibly extremely busy were super polite and friendly and I was so impressed with how hard working they are. Whilst I waited for my meal to be prepared I got to watch the chefs preparing everyone else’s and it was dinner with a show! Will definitely be back! Probably tomorrow! Thank you guys 🙏

Food is always tastey from here, the curry sauce is either too runny or too thick and the same with the sweet and sour sauce.

Decent late night noodle bar, cheaper than wok-n-go. Portions sizes are great. The tofu noodles are good. Only criticism is I wish the noodles had more veggies, it could do with more carrots and peppers.

Ordered over Deliveroo. Delivery driver was moonlighting as a taxi driver and drove off with the food and a different driver returned with the food. Specifically asked for cutlery and none was provided. Phoned the restaurant and they said we hadn’t asked for any even though we had. Ordered bbq sauce and sweet and sour sauce. They look different but taste exactly the same. Food was soggy and not as described on the website. Overall a very disappointing experience. Would not order again and definitely would not recommend!

Very nice noodle boxes and better prices than Wok&Go. We came to look at the prices and there were children kicking a football around the restaurant and even into the shop door so we chose to go to Wok&Go instead but came back when we saw Wok&Go’s prices. It was horrible sitting waiting for the noodle box with a football flying round everywhere and it hit me once quite hard on the leg. We were the only customers at the time and I wonder if it’s because passing customers were afraid of being hit?

Given the wrong chips after explaining several times about wanting salt abd pepper chips only plain chips given.. small portions also.. food was good and cooked well otherwise

Their Beef Stir-Fry Ho Fun (乾炒牛河) is very tasty But it would be nice it mention in the menu rather then guess More picture from the online system would be great too

Found by accident while looking for a place to eat. Smelt good so went in and was not disappointed. Excellent food and absolutely delicious.. Sorry no pics, ate it all before i thought of taking one.

Usually always order because of the beef skewers as it the only place who does them and they where really good. The last 5 or 6 times it's been hit or miss and its become more a miss than a hit. Today has to be the worst ones I've ever had. Was big massive blobs of fat on every stick so most of it has gone in the bin. Was hoping it was just a bad batch but they have been getting worse and worse. Giving you 3 stars for all the times I've ordered and it was good but as you can see in the picture the amount of fat on them now is just disgusting and I won't be ordering from here again as it has put me off big time.

If I could rate this a 0 I would. Honestly the worst experience ever. I went in and ordered chicken teriyaki noodle and they had on the board that it was 5.95 the lady tried to charge me 2£ extra because of the chicken. I told her it comes with it then she fixed. But wait this wasn’t the worst part the lad that made it for me put it in a box then manager comes over and says that its too much takes the box from me goes to the bin and grabs a bunch of noodles and throws them in the bin. They’d rather throw it in the garbage then feed it to a paying customer the extra 10 noodles. I was speechless then he gave me back the box and wiped it with a dirty rag I straight out tossed it out the garbage what a waste of money. Will definitely not be back here again

Ordered the food and it arrived 25 minutes later. Piping hot, generous portions. 1st time eating from here. One of the nicest takeaways I've eaten. The wife was happy which is a bonus all around. Tasty and deliciously 😋

Absolute awful took my order after two and a hlaf hours still no food would never use these again ignored all phone calls to restaurant.

The worst chinese take out I've ever had! Ordered on just eat it came super quick but looked like it was quick because they sent old food, looked & tasted like it had stood for hours the noodles & the vegetables were dry, stale & cold! The prawn crackers were also stale! This was a birthday meal to share with my family it was terrible no one could eat it, even my cat turned his nose up & he is noodle crazy! Wont be ordering again!

We needed a pre race carb loading meal the evening before a bike race and found this little wonder. We weren't expecting much - just carbs - but got fabulous meals on a box to take back to our hotel room. Very efficient booking on the web, meal ready to pick up in 20 minutes, very very tasty. What more could you want? We are just sorry it's too far away from home in Dolgellau, Wales, to use regularly!

Ordered food at 9.30pm told it would take a hour , 10.30pm came no food called back at 10.45pm was told food was on way. Finally arrived at 11.00pm and was cold.Won't be ordering from here again.

Great food, fab Pad Thai. Fast delivery and always hot. Plenty of food.

My daughter really likes it here. She wolf's down her veggies so can't complain at that.

The nicest noodle bar around. I drive about 15 minutes to pick it up it’s THAT nice. Full of flavour, packed full to the brim and always piping hot. The salt & pepper chips are the nicest I’ve had anywhere.

If you dont mind waiting 2 hrs, unable to cancel, unable to get refunded, cold food, it's ok. Other than those minor points........1ST AND LAST TIME ORDERING

Gave these guys a go for a quick meal on the way home as a change to Wok and Go. Very poor take away noodles, virtually no veg and really poor flavour. A shame as the staff were very friendly and the spring rolls were tasty. A little more care and could have been great.

I ordered a sweet chill, I started eating it and it didnt taste like sweet chill. I asked the young lad behind the counter what is in my meal and he said soy! I asked why he hadnt given me sweet chill and he shrugged his shoulder and said dont know! I said I couldnt eat it as its soy, yet again he shrugged his shoulders. I had to put my meal in the bin and he wouldnt give me what I paid for. Awful service.

Nice food, pleasant staff.. ate in as it was a downpour of rain outside.. we had a medium sized portion each, which one would have fed the two of us.

I was going to wok & go and saw this place, I thought I would give it a try, after looking at what they had on there menu, I ordered curry chicken spring rolls, satay skewers and a large sweet chilli box for me and my wife to share. I got home and we opened up the items the curry chicken spring rolls went down a treat then on to the skewers which had lovely favouring but the texture of the chicken was vile, like slimey, rubbery texture so we left these and went on to the main, which we were left very disappointed, hardly any vegatables and once again slimey rubbery chicken. If I wouldn't have had the curry spring rolls you wouldn't have had a 2 star. DISSAPOINTED

Ordered a vegan box, got chicken in it. Absolutely disgusting and appalling. It's the equivalent of a dog lover finding out they've eaten dog. Can't call up as the number appears to be out of service. It's clear these do not take dietary requirements seriously. STEER CLEAR.

Food was pretty good. Service was also fine, however only accept cash and do not take card payments.

The only downside is that you can only pay in cash, great food

Simple but tasty food, my husband and myself were very pleased, we ordered the super box, we got more than we thought, but not complaining has we were starving. One way of judging food quality is whether the food is edible the next morning when it is cold and the noodle box was still delicious. This is a 5 * takeaway, people who disagree go and get your greasy Kebab. Food wasn’t greasy and quite nutritious for a takeaway, except chips obviously. Smelt as good has it tasted, quick delivery for Sat night. I only give a good review when it is deserved, this place is authentic and unique and reasonably priced !! THANK-YOU keep up the good work ;-)

Got to say the food is amazing, huge portions and super fast delivery. I wish we had this takeaway in Blackpool. Word of warning, the hot chilli 🌶 sauce is dynamite. Great takeaway 🥡

Order was simple yet took hour and half to arrive ordered on a Sunday evening ..food was awful noodles overcooked and bland hardly any meat no salt at all ..safe to say won't be using in future definitely better around..and it's expensive

Awful couldn't even eat the food which is saying something called them and they just said deal with it . Also there was a very dirty smell of excrement from the food bags they where delivered in

Lovely food and place but took a while to make my order and got it wrong, unfortunately didn’t have time to ask them to remake it.

It seems that opinions are divided. I hag an rather awful food delivered. Ordered trough one of the apps. Have to say that was some of the worst spent money lately. Where do i start? I ordered taka box with kimchi and roast pork plus fried rice box with black beans beef. Needles to say you pay pound extra for regular box but difference in size is non existent. Just the shape of the box. I may be picky but this is not the kimchi i know if there were any. No distinct fermented flavour, nor great spiciness coming from garlic and array of other ingredients. As for the rise it was few spoonfuls accompanied of thick black mess. Only 4 pieces of so called steak. It was so salty to the point of being inedible. Salt and pepper chips was soggy and greasy, very salty again and apart of that not much other flavour. The spring rolls were filled with dark pasty something that tasted only of star anise. And last but not least there was 50p service charge on top of the delivery charge of 1.50. It may be me not paying much attention but i don't remember seeing it clearly stated. So over all very very dissapointing!

Great quick noodle bar. Pad Thai, my favourite.There is a casual sitting area for eating and access to toilet facilities, though located on the 1st floor.

Worst place I've ever seen in the back. I've had the unwanted pleasure of working upstairs and in the back and its absolutely disgusting! Rat droppings everywhere in the back, people living on the premises and no shower facilities! Stay away!!

The most important thing is the food is really good! I had ordered online and been surprised how good the food was. There was a discount voucher in that order that suggested we could sit inside and eat our food. I was unsure how this would work as they are a takeaway joint. There are tables towards the back of the premises and you can sit and eat your food but the only issue is, because it's a takeaway joint there is no cutlery to speak of. The sweet and sour chicken we ordered had such big pieces of chicken in it was tricky to eat. Definitely give them a try, the food is great. If it's a nice day you can still take out the food and perhaps walk to the park, which isn't far.

I've had a few noodle dishes from here and the quality and taste of the food was excellent. I will be ordering from here again.

Thai sauce wasn't nice. Chicken was just vile and I just couldnt bare eating more than a few mouthfuls. Wasn't worth my money and I will stick to wok & Go in the future.

If you like a spicy noodle dish - take on the "Fire" sauce. It's awesome.

If I could give 0 stars I would, we normally order from wok and go but thought we would give this a try. Expensive and overpriced for what it is - barley any veg in the boxes, no egg, no flavour and the chicken was absolutely vile and looked totally processed which was off putting. Won't be coming back, we will stick to our usual wok and go which this doesn't even come close too. Disappointing to say the least

Convenient noodle bar in Chester. Serves good lunch deals and have all day promotions. Affordable and delicious. Salt and pepper chips, chicken and ribs are addictive! Highly recommend

Takamee is a relatively new noodle bar in the heart of Chester. During my 2 day visit, I dined in there once for dinner.  They had a lunch deal but as our train was early in the morning, we couldn't take advantage of that. The noodle boxes ( we had the original and Korean kimchi) were served promptly and so were the salt and pepper chips. It was filled to the brim and surprisingly very good value for money. If we ever go back to Chester, we'll be sure to go back!

Their Salt & Pepper recipe is better than anything I've ever tasted. It's a new restaurant and I will definitely be going back to eat there again. The staff were welcoming, and there was a friendly and sociable atmosphere. 5/5 from me! Thanks Takamee!
