This shop is very well decorated from both the exterior and interior. It has a lovely detailed arty kind of look to it. It has a nice little indoor window seat which you can use for waiting on your food or enjoying your purchases if the shop is not busy. This shop offers a fantastic selection of taiyaki flavours - a great variety of traditional Japanese style flavours, like red bean or black sesame, and more modern flavours too, like nutella and marshmallow or ham and cheese. They do savoury and sweet flavours which is a nice option. The ice cream taiyaki looked great but sadly we were too full to try this. We ordered taiyaki and coffee brown sugar bubble tea. They tasted great and the taiyaki was freshly made - nice and warm with a crispy shell. We liked that this place offered alternative flavours from the many other asian snack shops around this area. The service from the lady in the store was also really good. Next time we'd come here first before going to other taiyaki shops.

the hot waffle cone was not something that I was expecting. Unique flavours and the red bean filling mixed with waffle was something which you should try. Located in Chinatown

At first I thought I received the wrong order of bubble tea because I ordered taro flavour and the bubble tea colour was so fair (taro flavoured is usually purple). But after tasting I realized the taro flavour was absolutely there despite lack of purple colour! Super delicious! The tapioca pearls had perfect consistency and the taiyaki was warm and full of flavor. Also good pricing!

I was addicted to these fish shaped waffles whilst in Japan so just HAD to get one when I spotted them in soho! I ordered the red bean one which was freshly cooked and nice and warm. It is on the pricey side and something I would only eat once in a while. However it was much needed on a very cold winters night.

A fantastic little sushi restaurant. For lunch or dinner. Each of chefs selection (Omakasa) sashimi pieces had an actual melt in your mouth quality, that should be taken slowly and savoured for maximum taste. The reception staff, and waiting staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, with attentive service. The chefs were professional, and were visibly pleased to see us not only enjoy the food so much but also take their advice on the order the eat them. The head chef Rodriguez was a star, explaining where the fish and products were sourced from (many different places globally), while preparing the fishes in front of us, so we learnt the cuts and differences in texture and taste. We had great fun chatting to them all, with nice ambient music in the background. The prices were fair for the quality, and we probably over ordered during our stay because it was so good. We finished with the recommended homemade matcha cheesecake which was with only subtle matcha flavour (which suits me as I generally do not like matcha) and it was delicious. Lovely food and people. We will certainly be back.

Introduced to this place earlier in the week and loved it. Really delicious food and love that you can choose your size of rice, spice and a side too. Really tasty and great value. Second visit and had the thinly sliced beef curry. Delicious. Not a place for a long meal but a perfect refuelling before heading off to theatre or something!

Had a craving for sushi somewhere in-between the high high end and Yo Sushi and chanced upon this place. Intending to do a lunch walk in for a la carte or one of their set menus, I was instead offered their Omakase menu only which is usually available via prior reservation only, more courses and of course, more expensive. The sitting was only half full so not sure why a la carte etc wasn't available. The edamame, dessert and miso were forgettable and barely deserving to make up three of the 11 courses (dessert was a scoop of ice cream) and the fish itself was good, prepared in front of you as you'd expect. It wasn't clear that the fish was "dry aged" so the flavours of classics were unique if familiar. The atmosphere was casual at lunch - this isn't pretentious although they still seem to be ironing out some kinks with the service - e.g some things were explained to one end of the counter and not the other. In addition to the lack of an a la option as suggested on their website (or set menus as featured in other reviews), the lunch Omakase is cheaper than on their website, which I only noticed after the fact as the so called encore sushi of your choice promised on the website was not offered so I double checked to ensure I had not misread. Overall a decent experience but some consistency in marketing/expectations management needed.
