My daughter and I had lunch and the food was hot, flavourful and greatly enjoyed. Service with a smile.

Great pub, doggy treats and water brought straight out for the mut. Food was good for the price, staff where great no pretentious Cheltenham rubbish proper good old pub, can't fault anything.

Decent Sunday roast and excellent service. Place is very child friendly and welcoming.

Haven't visited this place for a while but it won't be long before we're back again. The four of us had a fantastic Sunday lunch, in fact the best we've had for a while. Excellent service from an eager young group of employees and a brilliant place to watch live sport. Highly recommend giving it a try. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Full English breakfast with my mates yesterday 13/3 was not good. Sausages were under cooked mushrooms over cooked. Its a shame cause I eat there alot. And generally it's well cooked after they released one of their chefs.

Had a fantastic afternoon watching the Six Nations rugby in the Snug. Really attentive staff, great food, beer and atmosphere.

I've always liked coming here for drinks. First time eating here, great choice of roast meats. Service was so friendly from all of the staff.! Table service which I wasn't expecting. Food was great with top quality presentation. Banoffe pie was homemade and delicious. Definitely recommend and will be returning.!

We held a last minute 32 person meeting in the downstairs function room and they pulled it together perfectly. The owner was incredible getting everything sorted for us.

My sister, gran and myself went to Tailors to have food and watch the football match. We were able to book a table and although running late due to having travelled from Oxford they kindly kept our table. My sister is very fussy with food but they were very helpful and her food arrived perfectly. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food and certainly would go back when we’re next in Cheltenham.

I really want to like this place, but it lacks character. Some tat arranged to look trendy does not inspire. Where's the USP?

One of our locals. We had a family Xmas meal on Sunday. The food was spectacular one of the best roasts over ever had out. Service was top class. Overall a wonderful experience.

The place I was intending on going was closed, thankfully I found this place. Quiet but pleasant, and a nice portion of fish and chips.

Went for Sunday lunch for my son's 18th birthday, food was great & generous portions. Cindy looked after us very well though all the staff were friendly & attentive. Lovely atmosphere & the landlady made an effort to go round chatting with people which was a really nice gesture. We felt really welcome & would definitely go there again when we're in Cheltenham!

Currently disappointed... Firstly, I have had some really good meals here, and have always been made to feel very welcome. However, my latest visit here means I am going to give it a break for a while. I had the fish and chips, which was only ok, by previous meals. But it was the service and blatant overcharge on this visit that has left me with a sour taste. The server charged for 2 pints of lager, I only had one and then had automatically added, not asked for, nor indicated the addition of £2.39 in service charge.

Bar staff are great, landlady has an issue with northerners so I’d avoid if you’ve travelled down, shame she ruined the pub, probably in need of a management switch up.

Came here expecting any old pub, but the service was very welcoming and thoughtful. Waitresses who said they would remember something or bring us something later did and promptly. Great experience!

We love lamb. We had a fabulous Sunday lunch. We chose garlic & rosemary lamb with all the trimmings. It was delicious. Followed by sticky toffee pudding & cream & ice cream. Perfect

When,t to Cheltenham for a party and the races. Met at Taylor,s before the races, had some drinks. Good beer and good atmosphere. Always worth a visit.

I recently visited Tailors Eating House, a pub located in Cheltenham, United Kingdom, with some friends after a day of activities. Our overall experience was quite pleasant. The only reason I'm not giving it a full 5-star rating is that while the drinks and service were excellent, the food menu was a bit limited, and some of the dishes we ordered were just average. Nonetheless, if you're primarily looking for a place to enjoy a nice drink and good company, Tailors Eating House is a great choice. I would definitely recommend it, and I'm giving it a solid 4-star review.

Not a great experience, will not be returning. To serve just vegetables and a Yorkshire pudding as the vegetarian Sunday lunch option, in this day and age is appalling. Not only that but the menu is extremely misleading, it reads to all (certain all in our large group) that a meat alternative is offer, not that you get the Sunday lunch just minus the meet and stuffing. Laughable. The response from staff when the issue was raised was nothing short of aggressive and frankly extremely unprofessional. Its a shame as the facilities were lovely and other dishes enjoyable.

The professional, warm happy welcoming service from Rachel and her team is so worth a visit. The food was spot on. Visited for dinner. Quiet evening but to be expected seeing as it was a Tuesday. Staff very pleasant, friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed a great meal - homemade Lasagne was delicious. Staff attentive but not overbearing - very good. Would recommend this pub

Sunday lunch. Nothing seemed home cooked about this meal. Felt like prepacked prepared veg. Tray reheated sliced flavourless meat. It used to be a good quality home cooked meal.

Asked 3 times for reassurance that the pulled pork main meal was gf, as marked on the menu. Assured it was. Ate it, but 2 hours later in the middle of a theatre performance, was ill, rushing to the toilet. A reaction to eating gluten. Had to be driven home. When I checked the website later this meal is listed as containing wheat. When I called in to day to bring this to the attention of staff, got a 'sorry, but no one else has had a problem'. After eating gluten it takes 3 months for my gut to heal, please get your allergen information correct.

One of the best burgers I have had for a very long time! Went there to watch the rugby (sadly my team lost) and had a great time! The service was outstanding, the food was fantastic and the vibe was great! Thank you

We booked Tailors for Sunday lunch and when it arrived the food was excellent generous portions and lovely flavours. However we booked and arrived at 2, our drink order and food order was taken 15/20mins after and was then forgotten, they were extremely busy and we were told we would not have to pay for these drinks, food came 30 mins after ordering an hr after arrival. As we said delicious and would return but need to look at service and be better organised, sent drink back as asked no ice,bought us sides we didn't order we were confused a few mins after ordering being told we ordered last we thought they meant roast. We asked for desert menu but after 15 mins asked for bill, the drinks 1 pint 2 cokes still on there so asked to be taken off with side, this was still incorrect to discrepancy of £5 as only cokes removed, but gave up by then.As leaving we believe the lady was the manager questioned us on side order but she obviously thought we were in wrong as when I mentioned we thought they were a freebie as an apology after an hrs wait, she disputed this and walked off mid conversation. Great chef, reason worth that 2nd try,service were hoping just an off day as could tell the staff are proud of the food being served.

Excellent staff, friendly, welcoming from the initial phone call to enquire through to all staff working on the night. Hired the function room for a 21st birthday party, room was clean, we were able to decorate in the daytime, bar was well stocked.

Haven’t been to Tailors in Cheltenham for quite a while and we were recommended by friends to try there for a Sunday Lunch. We were a party of 12 and everyone one of us really enjoyed it. I have to say that it’s been one of the best Sunday lunches we have had out in a very long time. The meals were amazing sizes, fresh vegetables, perfectly cooked meat, Yorkshire puddings so light, piping hot and all came out together. A credit to all the staff, manager and owner who were very attentive. Would we come here again? WITHOUT A DOUBT!

Their Lamb Shank is delicious, wonderful creamy mashed potatoes, lamb falling off the bone, lovely minty gravy.

Fabulous roast today after a lot of effort was made to squeeze us in. The pub was rammed, all the staff were working flat out and still they couldn't have been kinder or more efficient. Not our first great meal there either.

Food was very good and they put the rugby on for us to watch. Tasty beers too!

We watched the Women's cup final, enjoying a breakfast snack and pint. We then stayed for a full on Sunday roast. Excellent food and fantastic staff - extremely friendly and helpful. It's a sports bar with screens everywhere. This was a bonus for us!

The staff were all lovely and attentive and the food was great. There were a great number of tvs so you had a good view wherever you were. Would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area or local.

Came for a Sunday roast here with a group. Happy and friendly staff, very attentive. Food was great. Only gripe, is that would be nice to have something else added to the veggie roast, maybe veggie stuffing? Other than that I would definitely recommend :)

Great selection of beers. Didn't see they had any food options but there are big screens for sporting events and a whole floor I think you can reserve for major ones or private functions. Will be happy to go back and see more about the Sunday lunch options being flagged as I write this

The staff are first class, venue comfortable for a pub/food venue in Cheltenham .But drinks over priced. I ordered neck oil ipa beer. Cost £6.90. Price for this in pub in Montpellier Cheltenham (upmarket area) £5.10 yesterday!!!

Met a good girlfriend for a beautiful lunch & sat in the gorgeous garden to catch up. Had the most delicious wrap & beautifully smooth coffee served by Ames & Tom, brilliant service. Highly recommend.

Went to tailors at lunchtime Place was buzzing with people sitting outside in the sun enjoying a drink or a bite to eat. Inside the pub had a good friendly atmosphere. The menu catered for most people And the food was served quickly and promptly and tasted absolutely delicious.

A decent size pub for post Cheltenham festival drinks with outdoor areas. Outrageously priced Ooni pizzas though. Anaemic looking, cut into quarters and priced at £6 per quarter. I won't be rushing back!
