Dog infested. One of them sticking its snout in to my food. Won't be returning

No pleasantries, no thank you, no your coffee will be collected over there. Even the girl making the coffee put it next to her. so I had to reach to her machine to collect it. No ‘there you go’ The floors are dirty and spilled food is lying under the tables. I like the food I like the ethics but I’m not keen on the service any more

Very nice tuna and cucumber sandwich! The decaf Americano was ok but needed to be served hotter. Service was prompt and efficient.

Only stopped for a coffee. Lady taking the order was friendly enough but girl serving the coffee didn't say boo to a goose and I detest getting a takeaway cup when you are drinking in. More waste but less washing up for the staff - this is more and more typical!

Can’t understand the bad reviews. We visited on a busy Saturday afternoon and served really quickly. Staff were welcoming and efficient despite being over run with customers. Drinks were hot and the store was immaculately clean.

Despite all the bad reviews I’ve seen I think the work the staff put in to get your drink quickly for you is great. I am in and out most days and despite a few staff that don’t talk much they always make me feel welcome. My drink is already on the till ready for me when I come to order 👍

It’s a lovely coffee shop , however, I feel sorry for the young lady behind the counter this morning. The Manger is completely rude to her staff. It is very awkward sitting on the shop floor listening to how the manager talks. Any manager concerns, the member of staff should be taken away and done privately, away from customers. I feel the manager is very patronising and strongly believe she requires further management training.

Arrived before my wife so found a suitable table which was covered in crumbs and liquid. No staff around so cleaned it myself. Food selection very uninspiring, seems like they want to be trendy by putting ingredients in sandwiches that clearly should not go together. Staff seem to be in a dream, and very monosyllabic. Complained about the table and got an apology. I did then see the staff member cleaning tables, so the message got through. Generally the site has got dowdy. Toilets leave a lot to be desired. One handwash machine broken, the other was missing just leaving screw holes in the wall. Grime around the edge of the tiles. Not had a thorough clean in weeks. Returned my Americano as it was bitter and horrible. Used Pret stores in Bloomsbury London on many occasions and found them all round excellent. This one needs some serious management action.

Honestly i love getting my coffee here but jesus h christ the workers look miserable! most times i go in (multiple times a week) the staff behind the counter look so annoyed and unhappy. No thank you’s, blank stares. The barista’s attitude’s are terrible and unfriendly, they make the worst customer experience. I’ve personally never had a problem with them. Just their unhappy attitude is so jarring and unwelcoming. Really ruins a good morning.

Went for lunch. Quite pleasant contemporary surroundings and interesting food options. I did enjoy the Thai soup. Service was lack lustre and the trays filthy. No plates or cutlery. Toilets a real trek and a bit grubby. Overall for the price, not quite there

The only reason I come to this Pret is to grab lunch every now and again. Every instance I’ve been in there the staff are not welcoming or friendly. There is a serious attitude problem in that store which is not needed for any customer. It doesn’t take a second to smile to someone. Why work there if you are that unhappy to serve customers in a customer facing job. Worst service in Cheltenham.

terrible situation today handled incredibly poorly by the initial staff member and then the team leader. high street Cheltenham. ordered a baby latte for my toddler. it arrived searing hot and burnt my daughter's lip. I took it back to ask them to put some cold milk in it, which was done without any apology and loads of cold milk poured on top which completely ruined the drink, spilling milk all over the place in the process. then my wife went up to complain and was not offered an apology either, just asked if we wanted another one. completely inappropriate and dangerous to serve a toddlers drink with boiling milk. no idea of customer service. absolutely disgusting to be frank.

Staff were rude. The woman with long blonde hair hs no customer service skills. No communication that they didn't have any cream despite ordering the Christmas salted caramel specials. Poor

Fantastic! Nice seating areas, always looks clean, never see mess left on a table. I've tried an egg and bacon baguette there which was spot on but normally just get my coffees with the Pret subscription. The staff are all so kind, happy and welcoming. Special shout out to Punab, she makes me smile every day when I walk in, asks about my day and always remembers my regular coffee! The young girl with grey hair (Angela) always makes a fab coffee too 👌

AVOID! Service awful, make you feel you are the problem huffing and puffing that you’ve been charged for something you haven’t ordered. Then managers outing staff embarrassing them in front of customers. FLIES all over food under the counter. Identified to be eye rolled at and ignored.

Coffee was not fantastic, the tea was so hot it burned my fingers through the cup and the toilets were closed off so I had to go to the disabled toilet which was disgusting! Not a pleasant visit!

Visited on a quiet Friday afternoon for a quick stop out of the heat, first server at the till seemed distracted and a little vacant and struggled to answer simple questions, seemed to have little knowledge of the drinks on offer. Barista was surly bordering on rude and obviously didnt want to be there Only plus was that drinks were refreshing and store was cool

Closest to home. Great for networking and socializing.

Filthy toilets. Only two unisex loos for 100 plus covers. Staff didn’t know what they were doing. Took ages to pay. If it was my first Pret visit I wouldn’t be going back.

I'm one of your regular customer at pret in Cheltenham. Shop is always clean and tidy good customer service apart from the Spanish /Brazilian young man who works behind the counter and he's very rude to customer and multiple times to me. He provided very low customer in that place Seems like he doesn't like his job or not interested at all. Such a shame as the rest of the team doing fantastic and working individually hard I'm not the only one as I noticed many time other customers grapped their food or coffee with unhappy face and talking about this man attitude I'm the person who loves your cofffe sandwiches and salads and this man make us unwelcome to this cafe I think the management needs to replace him as the rest of the team doing fantastic job many thanks

Customer care is none existence, not friendly at all. Food was ok but only had a pan au raisin. And tea in a take away cup.

Me and my partner visited Pret A Manger in Cheltenham and what a disgusting place it is! There are flies everywhere! I have seen multiple people attempting to swat flies while they where eating and drinking. And there are napkins and crumbs all over the floor. Last time I’ll ever go in there! What a substandard place to eat/drink!

Best coffee I've had in Cheltenham so far and by far the best cookie I’ve ever eaten.... Chewy, gooey, chocolatey deliciousness! Staff were really friendly too.

Good coffee and friendly service

Enjoyed the delicious sandwiches, but table top was covered in last occupants greasy mess ,which we tried to cover with paper napkins! No sign, during an hour spent in this restaurant, of any member of staff cleaning tables or walking around to see if tables needed their attention! All very unhygienic, especially with covid still around.

although the choice of food is very good I don’t think it’s worth the prices, considering how rude the staff are and unclean the trays and tables are.

I have been a Pret lover for years now and have spent a good chunk of my hard earned money with the company. I enjoy the old favourites and the new ideas too. Long may the quality remain.

There were no cups no plates no spoons knives forks etc. Only paper versions....there was a young woman clearing the tables but didn't wipe any of them....food and spilled drinks were all Iver the floor

A member of staff was very rude, will not be returning

i come here with my partner almost every day (the pret subscription grind, can't resist) and i felt like i just had to put a good review as every time it's great coffee, the staff are super hard working as we always go during lunch-hour when it's a busy little stretch. we literally always get the same thing (caramel latte and oat flat white) and it's just really sweet when the staff remember that. i work in hospitality myself and the speed, efficiency, and competence of the baristas is unreal - i should be taking notes :) recently been getting the too-good-to-go bags from here also and it's meant i've tried some food i wouldn't normally get. the mac and cheese!! is unreal !!!

I’ve been at Pret last week and the service has been quite disappointing. We got 2 of the really small sandwiches which were around £1.90 each. Once at the till I just tapped my card without realising I was paying £7.60 and when I asked for an explanation the team member that was serving us said she thought we wanted to eat. Even if that was the problem, charging almost £4 to sit down seems a lot to me and when we asked for the difference to be refunded she just said it wasn’t possible to do a refund. Luckily another member of the staff stepped in and was able to solve the problem.

Changed staff again and there's not some many either.

Food always good, coffee standard. Facilities - really unclean. Urine stained toilet seat, toilet dirty, unclean and broken sink and tap.

the taller guy with dark hair is SO rude. slammed my drink down, not saying a word along with other peoples orders. he seriously needs a refresher on customer service and how to behave professionally in a customer based role.

Arrived an hour after opening,floor filthy by my table. Staff on till conducted whole transaction without speaking or smiling once! Young barista friendly and smiley. Coffee and pastry ok but why on earth are they still using paper cups and no plates Did not like the fact that toilets are gender neutral,I would not send my young daughters in alone as they are very secluded and out of the way upstairs

I had a really nice experience in here. Nice atmosphere and seating area. Good selection of food and coffee. Customer service was excellent. They randomly offered me a complimentary coffee as I had been coming regularly for a few days. Nice surprise. Please come here if you can. I highly recommend.

The standard of drinks was below average.

Met some beautiful Romanian ladies sat outside having coffee and accosted them to watch my dig Norman whilst I popped into a store, they loved it...when I returned we got chatting as they wondered how I knew so e Romanian language and they invited me to sit with them. I popped inside and ordered an oat milk latté with honey 🍯. Matt who served me was helpful, polite and SO friendly I ended up buying a dark chocolate 🍫 bar AND an Annie Gingerbread too!! As my dog 🐕 Norman was waiting outside Matty delivered the coffee to our table when ready complete with a sachet of Rowse honey 🍯 😀 Thank YOU Matty, you are a credit to the Cheltenham store. The queue was long but you were calm,efficient, personable and friendly with a sprinkling of professionalism 😘😚☕🍪 Norman and I will definitely be back!!

Food and drink is always really nice, if a little bit pricy but not too bad all things considered. I recommend the prosciutto Mac and cheese it was gorgeous.

I come in pretty much every day and I feel welcomed by all the kind staff! Even when the cafe is very busy they maintain a calm and kind attitude and I'm very appreciative.

Really lovely pret. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The store is very clean and there are staff who are constantly cleaning all the surfaces and tables are cleaned quickly after use. Good social distancing measures are in place here. Love how open the space is. Toilets are also clean. Drinks are really nice. The barista made me a perfect vanilla latte!

I always enjoy meeting friends here usually fellow parents its a nice little place that is pretty accessible for pushchairs. Only bad thing I can say is hot coffee, wobbly tables and a toddler is a bad combination and every table I choose has a big wobble. Please can you fix them.

Always great food and coffee. Friendly well trained staff, tho not wearing masks? Nice airy design. Ground floor is good for people with disabilities. However, many people will struggle with the steep flight of stairs to unisex toilets. Lots of unused space upstairs where they could be separate toilets for men and women. Do wish we had china cups and saucers and no single use plastic lids for hot drinks. I've been a Pret customer since they first opened. I therefore know how innovative they are si I am disappointed that they are not doing enough recycling. Why are teabags synthetic? They should be 100% biodegradable. Otherwise I'd give 5 out of 5.

Good variety of sandwiches and salads we had iced lattes and macaroni and cheese pasta bakes which were both really nice

the tall guy in the white shirt with dark/black hair theyve had on the machines both today (22/9) and yesterday (21/9) in the afternoon/evening has been EXTREMELY RUDE. slamming drinks down to me and my colleagues and basically not acknowledging us, today he was even too busy talking to the customer behind us who i assume was his friend the way they were talking. Will NOT be coming back here and all five of us have already cancelled my subscription due to him being so rude.

I have been using the Pret subscription service for about 6 months ago and have enjoyed the frequent coffees and occasional frappes here. The staff are usually friendly and the serving times acceptable. However, for the past week there has been an ugly coffee/chocolate stain on a ledge in the waiting area - where I usually park my elbow! I have pointed it out to staff on two occasions but noticed that it was still there today. If it ever gets removed in a strange way I will miss it. No it's still there today (24 hours later). Obviously no-one reads Google reviews.

Decent Pret. Clean and spacious. Usually not waiting that long for your coffee either.

I have just received my order through Deliveroo & it’s Absolutely phenomenal! Superb quality of food & of a high standard. Looks just like the picture in the menu! Tastes exceptional! Really has made my day, I also ordered 2 organic chocolate milkshakes & I must say that it was the BEST milkshake i have ever had! HIGHLY recommend!

Best coffee in Cheltenham clean fresh

On a hot day, a quick pit stop for a cool drink and light bite was just what Pret provided. Service was fine at the counter, the slight shame was that the outside tables, where we ate, didn't receive much attention, cleaning between customers would have been most welcome

They were "no smiling", with rude attitude, and they didn't take care about the service. I didn't like their attitude.

I have been with Specsavers for years and would always recommend them. The staff are friendly and helpful. I have very expensive glasses due to poor vision and staff will always try to work out the best deal.
