The chef is from Lebanon, and knows his stuff. Not a vague Arabic attempt, this is the true authentic Lebanese spices and flavours. The chicken, tabolieh and babaganoush were spot on, and the Knefeh was just amazing. My Lebanese wife was very impressed, and the kids ate everything.

I never know they got barber room in restaurant. Never ever gone recommend this restaurant to anyone again because few months back I was there I got very upset , It was prayer time and I asked for I got prayer room they the staff showed me prayer room so I went to prayer room what I saw that there’s a lady sitting on chair and having hair cut or plucking inside prayer room. So I asked staff what is going on ? They told me that’s our manager .It’s a prayer room people how could someone like that disrespect praying place . I wish I know the owner to complain or I should complain council to take action against them . I wish could take pictures or filmed that . I writing after few days reason my friend want to got there so I told him impossible they don’t respect religion or religious human beings .

The place is good, food is great and staff are brilliant. We go there regularly and there's nothing really negative to say. However, this evening, there was a lady there (guessing she runs the place) who was extremely rude to her staff and really angry. This obviously reflected on them and the food. Food was not anything like usual. I seriously hope this doesn't happen again as Taboosh is one of my favourite places in Preston and I genuinely recommend it.

Second time here and have to say the food is really good, the meat is nice and tender and food is served pretty quickly. The inside shisha area has a nice atmosphere to enjoy a family dinner. Staff was polite and the cost was very reasonable. The only negative is that they do not take card. There is a cash machine few steps outside of the restaurant, however it does charge. Also depending on what time you go car parking could be an issue. Otherwise would definitely recommend this place.

Food was fantastic. My only issue was that they don't take card. Fair enough if you want to avoid paying tax but the cash machine outside the building costs £2.00 to withdraw. Other than the minor annoyance I will be returning...with cash next time.

Celebrated my birthday here, and the service was incredible. The food was a gift itself as to how flavourful it was. Overall, my friends and I were pleased and satisfied with how the restaurant and would be more than happy to return.

Food was amazing. We had their homemade hummus and bread and lamb samosas to start. Then the chicken with rice and mixed grill. It was all seasoned perfectly and they turned the coals on the shisha for you. I missed out on their homemade baklava as it had all gone but we will definitely be back to try it, thank you ☺️

This is an absolute jewel of a restaurant in Preston. The service is great, the food outstanding, the only downside is that it’s cash only and the cash machine wasn’t working so hubby had to drive to find another machine. All the family had a super time, well recommended!

The food did not have much taste and was very disappointing. Front of house service was great but the chefs got our order wrong twice. It was also freezing!

Food is ok-waited 45mins for it to arrive. The worst thing for me was there is a shisha cafe within this restaurant and the music was so loud you could hear in the restaurant part which was a big put off as you couldn't have a conversation.... I came on Wednesday 30th August around 8pm...

If only the service and attention to orders was as good as the food, absolutely delicious well presented food but starters were incorrect and had to be taken back then both starters came back with no bread and we had to get up again to ask for this. They do not accept card, apple or Google pay however they do have a cash machine on site which makes absolutely no sense to me. Even though the food and drinks were 5 star going back isn't worth the trouble...

The food was very tasty and well presented. Nice portions, too. However, the service from the staff was horrible! Firstly, they brought two of the same starters when we had ordered two different starters. To add to that, they totally forgot to bring the pita breads with the starters. We had to remind them about this, and by the time the pitas came, we were already done with one of the starter dishes. Couldn't understand why this was the case, when they didn't have many customers at the time we went. Also, they only accept cash payments, which was so inconvenient. Really, nowadays, that is just very unacceptable. They do have an on-site cash machine, which charges extra for cash withdrawals. When we got home, we also realized that we were overcharged on all the menu items we ordered! So, I'm not going back to this place in a hurry! 😠

Poor service. Food took ages to arrive. Staff never asked how anything was and then claimed the card machine wasn’t working, meaning the £1.99 machine outside had to be used. Definitely will never use again.

I have come to Taboosh for the last 2 years. at the start it was great food and the standard was spot on to a degree I kept on bringing friends over and sending others telling them how good it is. 8 months ago I came over and Zara wasn't there to look after our order and food, we got the food and it was shocking and they tried to charge us for a shisha that we never had. So I didn't want to condemn the place so I thought anyone could have an off day, so took my family 3 more times 1st time it was average so we went again and it was good and zara made sure all is spot on after I told her of the previous experiences. Today took my family one more time and this is the last time we will be going there. Food was terrible, dry tabbouleh with no sauce oils and lemon juice, spicy potato soggy as hell full of oil and tasteless. They tried to double charge for meat bourak and haloumi that never turned up. Dry bread and chicken marinate was tasteless, garlic sauce was more a pot of natural yogurt. Its a shame as it used to be very good food, defo won't be coming ever again.

The service was great. The food was really good with generous portions. The shisha was okay, I would recommend Taboosh for the food but the shisha could have been better. Oh and the Kunafe was 🤌🏽

I was taken here by a friend who recommended it as a place to go for Lebanese food. Having spent time in Lebanon, and Beirut I am always a little skeptical, but in a word Taboosh was astonishing. We layered our food having a mix of delicious falafel, humous and a variety of starters with different main courses which were shared. The food was excellent and importantly for me evoked memories of my times in the Levant from North Africa to the middle east. Highly recommended.

Great food and they are consistent. The service is spot on too. Its always busy which is a good sign. It is wheelchair accessible but they don't have automatic doors and no disabled toilets.

Came after a long day to relax with a family very comfortable room to set in, food was really good same as the dessert n tea. Just one comment about the menu, please update your menu as it says chiken wings for the big plater but didn’t get them till I asked . Same as the dessert says 6 pics for 6 also been told the menue need updated. However the girl were very friendly and handled it same as other staff. Thank you

Awfully dry lamb, the naan was undercooked and doughy, it’s missed from the order. Called to complain and they have just blocked my number! …I wouldn’t feed it my dog!

Some of the food is nice but not all, the chicken tasted chemically and kobeda was oily. Interior isn't comfortable and no vibe. Staff were attentive and helpful though.

Hi. my first visit to this Lounge today, 17th May. Delayed service upto 45min, got kicked out dispite staff saying you can stay 20mins overtime. charged us £46..very unhappy with service. too expensive for the shisha wont be coming again.

Tried this place in December 2022. I don’t smoke Shisha so can’t comment on that. But the karak chai and baklava was nice. Comfortable seating. The service was a bit slow and wayward hence the 3 star.

Nice restaurant with very well presented dishes and decent amount of variety on the menu. Mainly Turkish, Kurdish origin. Segregated area for the shisha lounge, so you don't need to participate in the passive smoke. Friendly staff. The mixed platter for 4 is a very generous portion. 4 of us couldn't finish.

Outstanding! Great place to visit! We ordered hummus, spiced potatoes and vine leaves for starters, then we ordered the chicken grill too. If I'm honest, I ordered some Kibbeh as well but none has been made and I had to replace it with some of the starters above. We also ordered some of the cocktails too That said, the staff were *lovely* I truly felt at home! Even when I arrived to pick up the food they apologised again. The location felt so familiar (my first time there and I grew up in London) I even told them it felt like I was on Edgware road in London. What a lovely vibe and I'll definitely sit down and eat the food there next time. Can't imagine they're dog friendly though so I'll be sure to leave my dog behind. The food itself though was fantastic and I'm so glad we ordered this food. The extra sauces and bread were a perfect touch too! Can't wait to order again - highly recommend this wonderful place.

Absolutely remarkable the atmosphere, its definitely a hidden gem and i feel like this place needs more credit and visibility. The food is fresh, especially the grilled selection thats my favourite. The sheesha is flavoursome and the staff, well they are just exceptionally above and beyond on there customer service. Have become a regular here now. Would recommend to everyone wanting to experience a nice warm night.

With places like Jaffa and Grillaz, it's hard to justify visiting Taboosh. Prices for main meals were significantly higher than alternatives, yes the portion sizes were good, but it was disappointing to see an inconsistency in sides of chips and a wrap that had just two pieces of chicken in. If you're male, the male toilet is a shared disabled toilet that the door is faulty for. Overall the food was pretty tasty but there was around a 30-45 minute wait for food with one main coming out much later than the others, everyone else had pretty much finished. Will possibly be back again, to try another dish.

Worst place to Visit, no card payment and kitchen closes at 10 when the places closed 12 and it doesn’t say that online I’m not happy I travelled a long distance and I was hungry not recommended to visit

We were visiting Blackpool from London over Christmas vacations and a friend highly recommended this restaurant and all I can say is what a hidden gem. The food and service was amazing even on Christmas Eve. The portions are a good size and we ordered the meat platter and some cold starters and must say was superb. Highly recommend this place and worth a visit and shall be coming here again if visiting Preston. A worthwhile drive from Blackpool.

Taboosh offers wonderful Syrian cuisine within Preston. The mix grill or platters are a must have of you want the Syrian food experience. The variety in the platters are excellent and come with a cold starter. It is definitely enough food for the amount of people they recommend. My picture is for a platter for 2 which could comfortabley feed 3 people. The meat is succulent and flavourful and they provide delicious sauces too. Staff are nice and food is halal. They also have a shisha lounge and dessert. Overall highly recommend!

A must if you're in the Preston area food here is amazing everytime we have come and shisha is good. Great for families and great staff.

The staff were very pleasant and attentive, particularly the young lady at the front counter. The food was out of this world, Loved it! The mango Mojito was smooth and refreshing. I’m not really a shisha person nor do I enjoy the atmosphere very much hence I rarely go to a shisha place, but opted for this one as it looked classy and not a typical shisha place with loud music in the background with childish people. It was indeed a sensible, classy place with sensible people. The only downside is that they wouldn’t allow me to pay by card!!
