Good quality chippy definitely worth a visit

We went at almost closing time so the food wasn't as fresh as it could have been. Our own fault. It was delicious however and we will definitely be returning.

I’ve just order cheese burger, chips and Chinese curry sauce. They taste sooo nice the chips are spot on! Best chippy in Preston. I also had the chicken strips last week and couldn’t fault it 100/10

Its been a while since i went to you for a chippy tea, i have to say the size of the tasteless fish was so small, mostly batter, am sorry to say i wont be back,

My partner wanted gravy separate from her chips so they wouldn't go soggy on the way home, but we were rudely told that wouldn't be part of the meal deal and they would have to charge an extra £1.20. Instead, she went without gravy, but the chips were soggy and falling apart anyway. I had the gravy on mine and it looked like tar and tasted horrible. Waste of money, about half of both meals went in the bin

Ordered cheesy chips and very disappointed barely any cheese in it and it was extremely dry and clumpy cheese won’t be ordering that again I’m sure other items might be nice but not that one

First time here and will definitely be back. The food was great and the service was excellent. Good value for the money too.

Had fish and chips here a couple of weeks ago. I won't be returning. Obviously, the oil wasn't hot enough as there was more on the fish than in the frier. Oil was stale also and that's all you could taste. Disappointed

My all-time favourite chippy in all of Preston. Been going here since 2019 and despite trying other chippies none are as good. The sausages are tasty and the chip portions are quite large

Freshly cooked chips in minutes. £2!! for a generous portion. Lightly fried so they weren't stodgy. Delicious potato used. Friendly staff. No wonder this chippy is so popular.

Good local chippy, plenty if choice, the beef pudding as opposed to the normal steak pudding was a first and will not be the last, it was lovely. Good service and good fare.

Fab chippy the lightly battered fish is the best in the area .. staff are always happy and friendly ..good choice of food not badly priced.

Worst chippy of my entire life Chips under Fish might as well had still been swimming it was that under. The batter came straight off with the paper and fell to pieces. What was left was a horrible looking carcus with raw bits of batter on it Barmcake was well on its way to being stale. Not soft at all Peas horrible Gravy tasted like a cheap bisto with no consistency Overall you could just tell no love had gone into it and 0 character Would love to share photos but ended up straight in my black bin

Good chippy local to my friends

Was so looking forward to this, but the 3 fish were under cooked , very pale , dripping with fat and tasted unseasoned. The batter was raw inside and was mushy. The chips were ok but tasted par cooked. We also got a child’s meal of sausage and chips , the sausage looked torn in half from its other half rather than cut. Shame as we heard good reports , but it costs too much money to risk it again. I’ll stay with my local. More care and attention needed on this occasion.

Found this chippy by accident on the way back from collecting my motorhome and was amazed by the quality of food and service. Prices were excellent too. This will be my go to chippy whenever I'm anywhere near Preston in future.

If your after a meet pie the same hardness as a brick then this is the place. Came here about 6 year ago and joked shall we nip in for a brick pie. We did and yes they are still over cooked. May be I should of took it right back but they have had 6 years to improve and they have not. Off to the dentist, see ya

I was racing against time before they closed and they put in extra chips in the fryer for me. I had to wait 6 minutes and that was past their closing time. Very good service and the chips was fantastic.

This is one of the few that are left, a real English Chippy, serving chips that are made from real potatos (not from frozen). The gravy looks and tastes great just as I remember my Grans gravy was over 50 years ago, the portion size are very good and if you dare ask for a large portion of chips be prepaired to eat nothing other than the chips you get for the rest of the night. Although I find that the opening hours are a little strange (look them up on Google before setting out) this chippy is well worth the visit and I think it is one of he best in Preston

Just moved to the area,so popped in for lunch special,huge portions and really enjoyed,always helps when ur welcomed with a friendly member of staff,lady was lovely,defo be bk

Used to love the food from here especially the lovely lady that used to serve us. Who longer works there. Place has gone downhill since she has left. Never know what portion to get anymore! If you get a large for two people there is only enough for one. Staff need to be more friendly. And more accurate portions.

Chips here are vegan friendly. They are cooked separately from fish/meat products and the range has separate sumps and filters, so the oil is not shared between pans.

Good chips, gravy good and thick. Well worth a punt.
