We enjoyed dinner for a family of four on a Premier Inn meal deal at Table Table Gateway Eastleigh. We were warmly welcomed and served by the very courteous and friendly Timi. Food and service was excellent and good value.. Thank you.

Went for evening meal and drinks. Friendly staff and very good service. Nice ambience about the place. Good car park. Fare priced.

We were booked into the adjoining Premier Inn and had a meal deal as part of our booking. This included an evening meal and breakfast the following morning. A lovely start to our holiday. The food was cooked fresh and I was looked after very well as somebody with a food intolerance.

We were staying at the neighbouring Premier Inn and had a very enjoyable breakfast with excellent service from Liz and Michele.

Mickey looked after us very well. We all enjoyed our meal and the service was good. A pleasant evening and good value . We will use Table Table again.

For once I am giving a review purely on the staff, as we had a cooked breakfast at the restaurant, and what's not to like about that. The staff here are a delight, completely enjoying themselves as they serve you with a 'can't do enough for you' attitude. They work hard and joyfully, just what you need to start your morning! A happy team I would say.

Great start to the day, had some time to kill while waiting for a vehicle service across the road so what better than a breakfast served by Liz Tilly followed by a walk in the park. Would recommend.

Good food including an excellent steak. Service was first class. Comprehensive menu. Reasonable prices. Easy to find and park with good provision for blue badge holders.

We stayed at the premier inn which is attached to this restaurant. We had booked our table for evening meal and breakfast prior to arrival, took advantage of the meal deal and had drinks in the bar before our meal. The food was really nice, hot and tasty. The service was excellent and staff were very attentive and friendly on both occasions that we used the restaurant. Thank you to Liz and the team, as it seemed they all worked well and closely together ❤️

Friendly and efficient staff, and prices aren't too high. Plenty of parking (but you have to register your car registration) and easy to get to.

Lovely meal as part of a deal with premier inn... very helpful waitress taking our order to delivering our food/drinks table 14...didn't feel rush at all, pleasant atmosphere 😀

Liz gave excellent service always serves with a friendly manner and smile. Also tilly helped us out with drinks ect very nice food we did have hard eggs but they were soon changed. Definitely will return soon

Came here this morning for breakfast after we dropped our car off for service and we are so pleased we did. Firstly Liz and Brett were so lovely and friendly. Liz especially made us feel so at home straightaway. The restaurant was lovely and clean and the continental food and tea and coffee were laid out well and easy to access. The cooked breakfast was amazing, beautifully cooked and piping hot which in our experience is a rare thing !. Can’t recommend the place highly enough and will definitely be returning!

We had breakfast with our grandson his 16 birthday, and the rest of the family 10 of us in total. We were served by a lovely Scottish lady. She was really lovely and very helpful. Great service.

Convenient for an M3 stopover or like myself staying overnight whilst husband was in a nearby hospital Staff were friendly and helpful as I was alone, they made sure I felt safe and nothing was too much trouble Would stay there again without hesitation

We came to stay to visit family in hospital. After ordering our mains and immediately having a recall to hospital they dealt with our situation with absolute compassion I rate the staff and service 10/10 we could not ask for more .

Here for a few days breakfast for lovely and evening meal was very good too. Staff really friendly can't do enough to help. As I was on a business trip my breakfast was included in with the price of the hotel , it not so much a bad thing but on one of the days they couldn't book me in for breakfast as they were fully book. But honestly a great place to eat ! Very cheap. warm and friendly.

Chicken Katsu curry was tasty but very dry owing to the measly portion of sauce poured over it. When I asked if I could have a little bit more sauce I was told I had to pay for it which I think was unreasonable considering we had spent £100 there. The fact that the waitress asked the manager who refused to override the charge has made my mind up that I’m not going there again. If they want to be that pernickety over such a small thing then I don’t want to give them my business anymore

Sausages were lovely, good to be able to have as much coffee as you want when feeling tired. Did not pass my fussy 7 year old tastes!

Visited for lunch ok initially meet and greet etc there after very little interest food quality looked ok but was poor. Soup hot in places cold in others poorly prepared in a microwave I suspect told the waitress who said she would tell her manager nothing happened after that.Mains arrived one ok the other chicken meal obviously kept on hot plate was dry chips dry chicken etc once commented about soup no one returned re mains they probably knew , my mistake was I paid the full bill and left a tip real Shame used to like this place been many times but they have lost me now as a customer

We were recommended this place from a friend and it was absolutely amazing. The staff were all friendly even though they were obviously rushed off thier feet. There were 6 of us for breakfast one of which is my autistic son and not once did they make us feel like a bother even when my son asked for a single poached egg to try it and kept interrupting to ask questions when the poor woman was trying to concentrate on the order. The food was absolutely perfect even the poor poached egg on it's own on a plate, the staff are fantastic and we will definitely be back soon.

The rooms are a bit tired but are very clean the staff are are all very helpful and polite The restaurant was very good and managed very well especially with the COVID restrictions in place and hand sanitisers everywhere Restaurant staff all very polite and very helpful we hade our lunch and was very well presented and cooked nicely But we also had breakfast the next morning which was unbelievable in fact one of the best breakfasts my wife and I have ever eaten and believe me I have eaten quite a few over the years And it was a unlimited breakfast but obviously instead of helping your self it was table service because of Covid It was very busy but the service was perfect did not wait to long at all and with only 3 waitresses it was very acceptable What I liked was the young lady who was doing the hotel reception was helping the restaurant staff but making all the coffees and tease etc to help out the restaurant staffAbsolute fantastic ( you don’t see that very often believe me )But as far as I’m concerned my wife and I would definitely stay here again without any hesitation WELL DONE TO ALL OF YOU AT THE GATEWAY EASTLEIGH 10 out of 10 from us Would highly recommend the hotel and restaurant to whoever are planning to stay in this area

Great Father’s Day experience after taking my dad here, both had burgers and drinks, food took a little while understandably as it was on Father’s Day but wasn’t a painful wait, kept busy with some drinks and food was great.

This place is soooo amazing guys!! They have a large selection of gins and the food is amazing, a good selection or pretty much everything. The staff are very friendly and try their best to keep everyone happy and cheerful. Nice environment and lots of sanitiser everywhere for these hard COVID times . Definitely recommended.

I was in the restaurant last Monday I had a south western burger ( outstanding ) I tried the bombay bramble and my girlfriend tried a captain Morgan tiki and she had the big stack which she said was brilliant both the drinks were amazing we both definitely recommend

Unbelievably terrible. Waited nearly an hour and a half for meal to arrive (tricky with 2 young children) Breakfast was an equal disaster having to wait 20 mins for juice and coffee to turn up. I felt very sorry for the staff who were working flat out but either there are not enough of them or there is an issue with the ordering/food preparation process used that the management team need to address. Not fair on the staff making them work like this.

Popped in here for lunch today. There were no other customers so thought we’d be served pretty promptly but we ended up waiting ages for our meal. The staff weren’t to be seen and there was a TV on which nobody was watching. The soap in the Ladies loo was missing and so I tried the hand sanitizer by the bar which didn’t work. Eventually found someone who switched on the sanitizer and got the soap. When the food eventually arrived it was fine for the price but honestly, what were they all doing?!

Stayed here on a 2 night business trip. Booked 2 nights at the restaurant, cancelled the 2nd night after my 1st try. Staff are friendly & attentive but frankly, bored. I sat between the door & bar and can’t tell you how often I heard them all complain about how quiet it was. Then, the food. If I never have a rump steak as bland, it’ll be too soon. Steak needs fat, even a little. This was the driest piece of meat ever and was medium rare! Add on the fact that, despite it being “so quiet”, they managed to forget that the steak meals were meant to come with onion rings. Presentation isn’t exactly a strong point either. So yeah, come here if you want nice staff but don’t want steak or necessarily a complete meal

Well having stayed here before the hotel was ok but this time not so good! My company pays for my room and a meal deal which costs £25! Which is breakfast and 2 course basic dinner. Well I never really make it for breakfast as I work nights locally so saving them about £10 really so when I have my meal I ask for a bit of extra custard and they say ok but then it comes out with no extra custard the cheeky t….. ask me for 60p for extra I couldn’t catch my breath as I’m saving them £10 not having a breakfast. They just don’t understand how to treat people and I stayed here for 7 months a year or so ago! I’d say avoid this place it’s all about money for them not keeping customers

We were stopping in the Premier Inn next to the pub so we knew it was going to be busy on the Saturday morning so we booked a table on line. We walked in and were shown to a table the them our drinks and food order was taken. To when it arrived there were a few things missing which I pointed out which was quickly sorted out. The breakfast was nice just the 2 staff were rushed off their feet so under staffed. Yet Dinner was the opposite a few staff and we were the only people in the place good meal friendly staff and very clean

Definitely impressed with this explosion of flavours of this meals totally overcome our expectations and service was very friendly in general was a wow night for us thank you for this great night and such a WOW food , definitely coming back soon and recommend to family and friends.

I was stopping in the Premier Inn next door and found this restaurant to be excellent. Tasty food, good service and all reasonably priced. The burger was excellent, very similar to a McDonald’s Big Mac but tastier. Enjoyable visit.

We were staying at the attached Premier Inn and decided to dine in this pub. I wasn’t expecting a lot based on my previous table table experiences. However.....It was very clean, very well organised and the service was absolutely outstanding. Quick and efficient, friendly and just brilliant. We ate dinner which was much better than expected and the kids meal is brilliant value for money - £4.99 for 3 courses. This pub and restaurant really compliments the dated hotel! Would return. Having had to seriously shield I was dubious about eating out but when we had a 97th birthday to celebrate we decided to bite the bullet. We had been regular diners there for about 15 years so we knew most of the staff and to our delight found that the two who looked after us yesterday were still there. The restarant is, as you'd expect, fully geared up to make guests feel safe and secure. Our loyalty had been rewarded with an email that invited us to take advantage of a special main course from the main menu and either a starter or dessert all for a tenner. Gald to say that the quality of the meals that the 5 of us had matched the exceptional value. For my part the chicken/ rib combo I had would have been difficult to beat, as was the Cadbury chocolate sundae that followed. Similarly, everyone else gave nods of approval and satisfaction with their choices. The TableTable at Eastleigh doesn't pretend to be anything other than a welcoming family affair with something for everyone, cooked and delivered in an unfussy efficient way. I must give a special mention to our waitress Emmie whose chirpy, 'nothing too much bother' service added much to our special day. Having broken the ice we will doubtless be back again before long and again and again. Thanks Guys and stay safe,Laurence McG.

On arrival, had to wait in long que, finally got seated, took drinks order! 15 mins later drinks arrived, after I had chased up, then mugs where dirty and no sugar, so had to find someone to help. 15 more minutes food order was taken, another 15/20 mins later food arrived, COLD, egg looked like it been hanging around for ages, I ate it as after a long wait I was hungry, my sons breakfast was so cold he didnt want to eat it, so asked for it to be heated up. No customer service, no welcome, no thank you etc...I haven't been in gateway for a while, even living so close, but I assure u, I will not be returning .. appalling food and customer service

Admittedly we were taking advantage of the government scheme for half price meals but when my husband's meal arrived (a mixed grill) it was missing the 4oz steak. I informed the bar staff as no waitress available, immediately. He said he would pass the message on. No one appeared. We were so hungry we all ate our meals as we had been waiting almost an hour from ordering. When a waitress was finally in reach and informed she fetched the manager who told us that the meal would not have left the kitchen without the steak. All four of us confirmed that this was not the case but the manager was insistant that this could not have happened. We are all liars for the sake of a small piece of rump steak!!! He maintained his stance but apologised and offered to take it off the bill. (Strange) We refused as we were not belived and made to feel we were trying to get free food. Paid in full after being shown a screen that asked if we would like to leave a tip!! Left without dessèrt and will never darken their doors again.

It is with regret that i must leave a 1 star rating as i would of given a 0 if i could.on attending this venue after driving 5 hrs from sunderland, we were eating our food and behold us a rat ran passed are table to the amazement of us all, we reported it only to be told, please keep this under your hat as we don't want other customers to know,this was not reported or even registered due to money and bookings are more important then customers health,,on further communications, the management decided to bar us if we move this issue forward to whitbread head office,trading standards,environmental health,and the council, we have been treated like!!! Put that cus i dont think sware words are appropriate,.

Been a regular for years , opened today after covid , taken a friend and my son for a meal tonight but after the sarcastic remark from the bar lady which I was not amused , I will no longer give them my hard earned money , she is vile and up her own a.. , thinking she runs the place , rude ignorant arrogant vile and thinks she is better then the people who go in to enjoy a evening out , I put over a 1000 pound a MTH with friends for drinks and meals , no more as I'm DONE WITH THIS PLACE , I'm a customer who does not expect to be spoke to this way and I'm not the only one .

The staff are very nice, funny and all in all fantastic. The service is very fast and the food is very nice. Just what I needed after a long day at work.

We visited here this week with two friends. We were shown to our table and looked after straight away. One little glitch was the Waitress was Portugies and one of ordered a pint of Doombar came back as a shandy!! A slight glitch was covered by another waitress, looked after us the rest of the evening with no problems. The food was brought to us very quick against previous visits. All four meals were fantastic. Will go again soon. Well done. Mike

I have noticed there is now a new lady manager , I must say the old tall chap I think is Liam , would go out his way to make all feel at home , totally professional , totally honest , and made everyone feel at home , amasing guy , new lady makes us feel like oh bugger have we come to the wrong place , the atmosphere has just dropped , and I'm thinking about going elce were .

My partner and I just had a lovely lovely meal desert here tonight as it was only £8.99 for 2 two main meals and add to desserts for additional £5.00 so every good Service and I would give them a five star rating we were so so happy to be at the venue today

Called in for Saturday lunch. Food was quite simple but well prepared and presented. The offer of 2 mains for £8.99 was very good value. Service efficient. Overall, exceeded our expectations.

Brought our elderly parents here for mothers 80th birthday celebrationFood was extremely disappointing the starter of garlic mushrooms were so overcooked they were hard so couldn't be eaten. The two dishes of cod sausage & scampi again was overcooked peas were hard. The two mixed grills were tasteless again overcooked burnt tasteless & peppercorn sauce was watery. We didn't complain at the time as didn't want to ruin my mother in laws birthday meal. Wish I had as have since called the restaurant only to be told there is nothing they can really do as should have complained at the time. Would not recommend or eat here again

Cannot recommend enough. Table for 13 easily accommodated. Brilliant service, attentive staff, comprehensive menu and excellent delicious food. Gluten free and vegan options both very satisfied. We had a fantastic Christmas Eve family late afternoon/early evening gathering. Could not fault anything!! Made my Christmas. Thank you.

Ordered item which is on the menu listed in starters & also listed as part of the Xmas special meal , then we were told that we could not have it as we had not prebooked & pre ordered .Disgusted . Find somewhere else that provides customers with food as listed on the menu .

Yet again I have been to this place to meet friends , and to my amazement the staff are fantastic /helpful , the manager I think his name is Liam is just totally outstanding , friendly and goes beyond his depths to make everyone feel home from home , will come back again .

We visited here on Monday lunchtime 12.30. Apart from 2 large groups and us there were only a few more couples there. However the service was so slow we only had a main course. We were there for 1.5 hours! We were going to have a dessert each but we needed to be somewhere else by 3.30pm. The food was lovely however.

I visited this lovely establishment with my partner on 22nd of this month. I can not thank the staff enough for such a great dinning experience. The staff were all so friendly and polite, from dave the bar man and even the manager Liam who served us. The food was top notch and the desserts were to die for.

We came in on the off chance to have a bot to eat with family for lunch. No problems with getting a table as Christina was very accommodating. We had starters and mains and to say it was very nice and filling . Our service was great and we had nothing to complain about and even the prices were reasonable. We came in without a booking and was pleasantly surprised when we could have a table. Our waitress was margarida and she was lovely. Always had a smile . Our food was delicious and didnt have to wait too long. We wasnt rushed so it was nice to have a relaxing meal.

Came here for Sunday morning breakfast we arrived around 9.30am & the restaurant wasn't overly busy. We got seated by a staff member then got told what the crack was etc then ordered our actual hot breakfast, then we got our continental breakfast first etc. Bit disappointed that the Costa coffee is just normal coffee in a heated type flask which could be any old coffee brand! The heat of the drinks wasn't particularly hot & it was drunk with in a few sips aswell as the tea... We were left waiting for approx an hour at least before we had to approach a staff member about our breakfast whereabouts... Then about 10 minutes later it arrived by this time no on else was hardly in the restaurant, the food was cooked really well to be fair but the beans came out almost luke warm which was disappointing... I don't think we're be returning anytime soon

Food was fine and service was good but there was a group of about 20 University age youths in the restuarant area (not even the bar area). They were not misbehaving but they were so loud and the language was explitives nearly every other word. Only a few eating snacks and using it like a student union lounge.

Why, when a restaurant is on your doorstep do we sidestep ..!? But now I’ve re-discovered this restaurant (on a recommendation I might add) ... it will definitely be my go-to breakfast treat, it was absolutely lovely, plentiful (too much almost!). Full English for us and complimentary (under 16 free with adult) continental for our grandson who devours cereals and maple syrup pancakes!!! Would return without a shadow of a doubt. Wanted a simple lunch. They have a varied 2 for £8.99 lunch menu. I wanted something simpler so chose the starter chicken goujons at £2.49. Ordered 2 as I thought they might be small portions.
